Devil May Cry 510
Mar 20, 2026
Devil May Cry 5 is the perfect return to the series, and also a great intro to it if you are new. This game features some of the best combat in gaming, with an extremely high and rewarding skill ceiling, perhaps some of the highest in action games. The cast of Dante, Nero and V, along with Vergil in the DLC, adds for some absolutely incredible gameplay between the characters, and some incredibly cool and funny moments. Also can't not talk about the OST in this game, it's incredible and everyone should hear it at least oncel 100% recommend it.

Devil May Cry 48
Mar 20, 2026
Devil May Cry 4 is a pretty great entry into the series, introducing a new protagonist in Nero, who is more edgy-teenager that Dante's cool persona, but is fun regardless. The action gameplay is as good as ever in DMC4, I'd definitely recommend it if you enjoy DMC3 or DMC5. The characters and story aren't as compelling to me, perhaps a subjective opinion, but it takes points off. I'd say play it if you enjoy the series.

This game is weird, and is no where near as good as the rest of the games. I don't know what to say about it, it isn't great, wouldn't recommend. You can skip this one.

Devil May Cry8
Mar 20, 2026
For it's time, Devil May Cry is an incredible action game, and led to one of the action series in gaming. Featuring one of the best protagonists in gaming, Dante is as cool as ever, even in the first game, and the game features many cool moments. We don't talk about that one bit at the end of the game though. Definitely play this game if you enjoy the series.

Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening10
Mar 20, 2026
Easily one of the best action games ever made, inspiring many future action games, with timeless gameplay, incredible characters, and some of the best OST going. Devil May Cry 3 is a must-play for anyone into action games, it's basically John Action Game. Dante is easily an iconic character in gaming, and this is his awakening story, so any fan of the series should play this game. 100% recommend.

Wild Hearts6
Mar 20, 2026
Wild Hearts is an interesting take on the 'Hunting' genre that Monster Hunter created, but it lacks a lot of the charm that Monster Hunter has. The levels and visuals are pretty nice, but the monster designs don't seem too inspired, which I think is a slight problem in this genre. The combat is fun, but very janky as well. I'd only try this if it's on sale and you enjoy Monster Hunter.

Bloodborne: The Old Hunters10
Mar 20, 2026
If you thought Bloodborne couldn't get any better, well, it did. This is one of FromSoft's best DLCs, completing the package of Bloodborne, and making it easily one of their best games. Go play it.

Bloodborne9
Mar 20, 2026
Possbily one of the coolest yet most disturbing universes in games, Bloodborne is a FromSoft masterpiece that everyone should play at least once. The game features a unique take on the usual FromSoft combat featured in their Souls games, allowing for parrying and dashes, rewarding aggressive gameplay that a hunter should abuse. The visuals in this game are incredible, a very cohesive and unique take inspired by Lovecraftian fiction, filled with many crazy enemy and boss designs, and some incredible levels. There's one thing that takes this down for me; outside of the DLC, a lot of the bosses aren't the best, if you get the DLC, it's an easy 10. This is one you don't want spoiled for you, go play it, a hunter must hunt.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt9
Mar 20, 2026
The Witcher 3 has some of the most incredible and dark writing in games, featuring a very iconic protagonist in Geralt, and a fun cast of companions. The world of TW3 is massive, and provides a lot of fun content to do which actually have consequences on the player. Everything writing related to this game is incredible, and it's definitely worth it if you are interested in those aspects of games. The only point that keeps this from being a 10 to me is the combat; it doesn't feel good to me, it feels a bit janky at times, and not in a good or charming way. If you don't care to much about this, then that's fine, it's all subjective. This is easily a must-play game.

Hades10
Mar 20, 2026

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth9
Mar 20, 2026
Rebirth is a very amibitous sequal to the Remake series, and the second part in the trilogy, filled with lots of fun moments with the crew, whilst also featuring some dark and deep storytelling. The game features a world design similar to the modern God of War games, where you have a large hub-like maps filled with content for the player, each with a distinctive design to them. The story is fun, you are basically adventuring across the world, trying to find and take down Sephiroth, but a lot happens, and you get to learn a lot of the character stories. I have some issues with how character stories are handled compared to the original, but it's subjective, you may like it more. The game is packed with content, however I find it hard to replay, since there isn't much change in NG+. Fun game, definitely recommend if you love FF and JRPGs.

Final Fantasy VII Remake8
Mar 20, 2026
Remake is a pretty fun game story-telling wise, and brings a unique twist of the original Final Fantasy 7, however I don't think it's as good or hits as hard as the original. The characters are as enjoyable as they were in the original, and bring a lot more of a noticable personality, which is probably just because of technical developments, but nevertheless it's nice to see. I don't have much to say about the level design, it's OK, visually very pretty but design-wise it's very basic and streamlined, lacking a lot of secrets reminiscent of the old game. Overall it's a good remake, and I would recommend it if you are a fan of the series.

Final Fantasy XVI9
Mar 20, 2026
Final Fantasy XVI brings a captivating yet simple to follow story, filled with fun yet emotional characters and stories which really make you feel immersed into the world. The combat in the game is very akin to Devil May Cry, yet on a more simple level; it's fun, yet simple, but also rewarding if you get good at it, and feels incredible in boss fights. Level design could be better, it's very linear and feels a bit like a fake open world design, but it can be pretty at times. Clive is an incredible main character and does really well at getting you attached to the story, however I do wish other characters felt more involved at times. Overall, very fun FF game.

Final Fantasy VIII9
Mar 20, 2026
Final Fantasy 8 contains the similar charm of many older FF games, with some great visuals and style for its time, and a fun cast of characters. The combat is fun, and allows players who pay more attention to mechanics the ability to become extremely powerful. The story isn't as good as some other games, but it's still a fun adventure with the crew. A good FF game if you enjoy the series or JRPGs.

One of the greatest JRPGs around and a timeless classic, Final Fantasy 7 is an inspiration to many games today and a must play for anyone interested in story games. Cloud and the crew are easily one of the most iconic protagonist groups in gaming, each with their own compelling stories and contribution to the world. The world of the game is very captivating and fun to explore, filled with many secrets and optional content, perfect for anyone who loves their rewarding secrets in games. 100% a must-play game.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim10
Mar 20, 2026
Skyrim is an endless classic and one of my favourite games, and easily one of the best RPGs ever made. The formula and mechanics add onto one of the greatest RPGs going, despite it's somewhat dated combat gameplay. The world is also beautiful, with an incredible artstyle, and some really great enemy designs, armor and weapon designs, and many more.
The dragon designs are also fantastic. I'm sure that I don't need to tell you to play it.
PlayStation 3

The First Berserker: Khazan8
Mar 20, 2026
Khazan is a Soulslike game similar to Nioh with it's mission-based design, featuring some incredible boss fights that arguably surpass it's predecessors, and an incredible combat flow to come with it. The player is provided 3 different weapons to use, each coming with their own skill tree which gives the players a lot of flexibility and variety in combat, and it feels pretty good to mess around with. The boss fights are incredible, not much else to say about them, definitely something you want to experience yourself. The artstyle is anime-esque, and it's OK, but feels very washed, could be improved. The level design is also a bit repetitive, and enemy variety is somewhat lacking, but you can somewhat counteract it by swapping weapons for variety, however that shouldn't be necessary. Regardless, the bosses in this game are incredible if you are a boss-rush kind of guy, and I'd recommend it if you enjoy Soulslikes.

Lies of P9
Mar 20, 2026
Lies of P is a Soulslike, and possibly the most faithful and complimentary Soulslike game to FromSoft's unique genre. The game has a very grounded and unique artstyle, and writing based off Pinocchio, yet with that dark touch to it, similar to Fromsoft. Gameplay wise, it's fun, meshing in games like Sekiro and Bloodborne into a very well-defined flow, which also provides decent variety with weapons and abilities. If you are a fan of Soulslike games, definitely give this a go.
PlayStation 5

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice10
Mar 20, 2026
Arguably FromSoft's best game, Sekiro is an incredibly innovative and grounded game, featuring design perfectly based around what is intended. Sekiro brings in some incredible combat and boss fights, which is expected from FromSoftware at this point, however the parry mechanic adds a lot of uniqueness to it, inspiring many other games. The game comes with some oustandingly beautiful visuals, and incredible character design, along with fun levels to navigate through. My only criticism for this game is that it lacks the replayability of some of FromSoft's other games. Despite this, Sekiro is a must-play if you are a fan of action games.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree9
Mar 20, 2026
Shadow of the Erdtree is an incredible expansion onto an already generational and must-play game. It features what you would expect from Elden Ring, and adds more onto it, bringing in new weapons, new weapon types and incredible bosses. Despite this, the level design doesn't feel as good as base Elden Ring, and you can notice that there needs to be some inovative development on the combat design in their next game. Regardless, this expansion is a must-play with the must-play game, the package you get is incredible.

Dark Souls III: The Ringed City10
Mar 20, 2026
The final entrance into the Dark Souls series, being the final DLC in Dark Souls 3, this DLC is an incredible send-off to the Dark Souls series. It contains some incredible boss fights, outstanding visuals, top-tier OST, amazing level design; basically everything you'd expect from FromSoftware. This is the send-off worthy of the Dark Souls series, and as a whole package with Dark souls 3, I 100% recommend it
PlayStation 4

Dark Souls III: Ashes of Ariandel8
Mar 20, 2026
Ashes of Ariandel is the first DLC added to DS3, and despite it's pretty great level design and visuals, it's somewhat lacking in content. It has one of the best boss fights in the Souls series, but other than that it's OK. As a whole package with DS3, it's great, but as a single package, it could have a bit more. I'd still recommend it.
PlayStation 4

Dark Souls III10
Mar 20, 2026
The faithful sequel to DS1 and DS2, Dark Souls 3 is the final game in the trilogy, which brings some incredibly faithful gameplay, world-building and many other aspects that DS1 nailed so well. The lore and writing of DS3 remains as good as you'd expect from FromSoftware, carrying that dark, medieval fantasy writing filled with melancholly stories in the game. The level design is a bit simpler than the other 2 games, and provides a more linear experience, yet the levels are filled with so many secrets, and there are still some alternivate paths the player can go to reach the end.
I'd argue this game has the best individual legacy dungeon design. One of key aspects that makes me always recommend this game; the boss fights are easily some of the best in the series.
Boss fights in this game had huge effects on the industry as a whole, providing some incredible action gameplay, visual storytelling, and some of the best boss OST going. Play this game.

Dark Souls II8
Mar 20, 2026
The sequel to DS1, providing us with some fun gameplay, but lacking a lot of the aspects which made DS1 amazing. Despite this, the game is still very fun! Dark Souls 2 carries a very similar level and world design that Dark Souls 1 had, but the visual storytelling is a bit lacking and wacky at times.
Graphically, it's an upgrade, and some areas such as Majula look incredible. The combat is similar but has some uniqueness with it, which are rather intricate and a lot of players won't realize it, but it adds to the charm. The bosses in this game lack a lot of the uniqueness that the previous game had, so it's not as memorable, but it is still fun. Overall, give the game a go.

Dark Souls: Artorias of the Abyss10
Mar 20, 2026
An incredible DLC on an already generational game, Artorias of the Abyss is a very woeful DLC that adds many layers onto the already incredible lore and writing of Dark Souls. The DLC comes with some of the best boss fights in the game, providing even more difficulty than before! This DLC is a must-play if you are a fan of series or any of FromSoft's work. Also it has a really weird way to get into it.

Dark Souls10
Mar 20, 2026
Dark Souls is an incredible ARPG, with some of the most captivating lore-writing in gaming, an extremely grounded artstyle and OST, and some of the most unique gameplay for its time, inspiring the genre known as 'Soulslike'
It also comes with incredible replayablity for a single-player RPG. The game feels really special and unique, you get this funny feeling when you play it that immerses you into its world and provides that different feeling to other games. It's well known for it's difficulty, which is known to gatekeep newer players at times, but when you pass the wall, it's some of the best feeling in a game. Truly a generational game that changed the industry.

DOOM Eternal8
Mar 20, 2026
DOOM Eternal is the sequel to DOOM 2016, however I didn't like it as much as 2016. Eternal comes with the same combat as 2016, and feels well developed in some parts, but the slayer feels weaker, which I don't think fits the game design of DOOM as good as 2016. The level design also takes away from the high-paced combat at times, but this is subjective to the player. The game is still amazing and I'd recommend giving it a go regardless.

DOOM9
Mar 20, 2026
DOOM is an insanely fun FPS, filled with pure dopamine-filling brutality against demons, providing highly rewarding and action-packed gameplay. The game is rather simple in concept, but allows for a lot of expression with the mobility and weapons it provides. It also isn't too long, but gives good replayability with the different difficulty options the campaign comes with. Definitely give this a go.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin8
Mar 20, 2026
Stories 2 is a great development on everything Stories 1 had going for it, easily feeling like a straight upgrade and incredible sequel on the first. The artstyle keeps it's similar grounded style to the first, but with much better graphics, leading to the monsters and environments looking very pretty! The combat also feels well developed, keeping the same aspects from Stories 1, but adding more variety with weapons and weakspots, which feels very Monster Hunter-ish. The game still struggles with it's story, writing and characters a bit, but it feels better than the first game. Overall, if you're a MH or Pokemon fan, definitely give this a go.
Nintendo Switch

Monster Hunter Stories7
Mar 20, 2026
Monster Hunter Stories is the first entry to CAPCOM's monster-taming game, like Pokemon, and it is an decent game! It's a turn-based RPG, monster-taming JRPG, with cool concepts and mechanics, such as monster genes and kinship, but it doesn't feel fully realized. The combat is a simple rock-paper-scissors system, with other variable to add onto the mix. Despite the name, the story isn't to compelling in this game, it has a rather simple story, perhaps to seem similar to Pokemon. Overall it's a decent game, if you enjoy Monster Hunter or Pokemon, give it a try.
PlayStation 4

Elden Ring10
Mar 20, 2026
Elden Ring is easily one of the best games I have ever played. It brings fun combat, some of the best open world gameplay and exploration, lots of build variety, crazy lore and writing, an incredible OST, beautiful artstyle and atmosphere, a charming multiplayer system, and great replaybility, all in FromSoftware's unique gameplay design. If you are a fan of any FromSoftware game, open world games, action games or RPGs, this game should be an instant buy for you. FromSoft games always have a unique design to them, and Elden Ring isn't much different; it's a hard game, the player has to learn it, however Elden Ring provides a lot more options to the player now due to it's open world nature, making it more accessible to weaker players, yet retaining the option for harder gameplay to veteran players. This game should be a must-play to anyone who enjoys video games.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak9
Mar 20, 2026
Sunbreak is a fantastic expansion on Rise, and brought almost everything the game needed. The new monsters are amazing, with maybe one of the best designed flagships to date. Mechanically, it develops pretty well on Rise's combat, only adding on more to it without being too complicated. It also brings a lot of replability, which base Rise struggled a lot with. Overall, great expansion onto Rise, definitely recommend this if you're have any interest in Rise of Monster Hunter.

Monster Hunter Rise8
Mar 20, 2026
Rise is a decent portable game for the Monster Hunter franchise,
with a very fun combat system to learn. It comes with call monster designs, based off Japanese folklore, and a lot of variety in combat. On release, the game didn't have too much content like other MH games, but now it's pretty good for a base game. If you want a fun game to play on the go or with friends, this is a good one.

Monster Hunter: World - Iceborne10
Mar 20, 2026
CAPCOM made the Master Rank expansion for World and made the game even better. Iceborne is, for me, the best expansion I've played in a video game, it takes everything World did, and expands on it even more. It adds an incredible amount of replayability onto an already replayble game. With the game also being completed finished, the Title Updates brought some of the best boss fights in gaming, which you should go experience for yourself. Get this game and expansion.

Monster Hunter: World10
Mar 20, 2026
The game that expanded the franchise to many fans across the world, and brought a huge development on the series, Monster Hunter World is an incredible 'Hunter'RPG. The game is filled with fun fights, lots of variety, and some of the highest replayability in a game. The monster and creature designs are some of the best in the industry, each carrying a uniquely designed personality, moveset, and sometimes even their own OST! Multiplayer can be a bit frustrating to set up with friends, but it comes with it's own charm, and adds a lot to the replayability with the multiplayer aspects. Overall, this game is a big recommend from me.

Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut9
Mar 20, 2026
Tsushima is a deeply emotional game about Samurai's honor, and how harmful it is during that age.
We follow Jin Sakai, a very compelling yet melancholic character, as he goes against the honorable ways of the Samurai to save his country, despite being cast out for it. The game features an amazing OST, arguably one of the most beautiful 3D artstyles in gaming, and a deeply emotional cast of great characters. The gameplay and mechanics are also very fun, but it isn't anything too inovative, but it is fun. If you are someone who enjoys a deep story, this one is for you.

Nine Sols9
Mar 20, 2026
Nine Sols has one of the best combat systems I've played in a metroidvania, inspired off Sekiro, but implemented for a 2D game. If you like Hollow Knight, definitely check this game out. The combat is parry focused, relying on the player to parry enemy attacks, and then follow up with attacks. You recieve upgrades along the way, which provide good variety. Artstyle is a very pretty 2D tao-punk style, and you can easily tell they put their research in to design this. A great aspect of this game is that it has a direct and interesting story, which you don't usually see in a lot of these game, but it's done fantastically! The character definitely add to this, each possessing their own personality which stands out strongly from each other. The boss fights in this game are also arguably some of the best in gaming. Main criticisms:
- The game lacks standout side content, which is arguably a subjective opinion.
- Replayability isn't the greatest, but there is a boss rematch! Overall, big recommend.

Hollow Knight10
Mar 20, 2026
Hollow Knight is easily one of the best games in the Metroidvania genre, possibly the best? Gameplay and controls are simple, yet carry an insanely high skill ceiling. World and level design is top of the genre, allowing for many different paths in playthroughs. Art style is a beautiful hand-crafted look, maybe one of the best looking 2D games, and this goes for environments and characters. Story, lore and characters are also very compelling, with great visuals design. The music is also amazing, I listen to this stuff in my freetime or when I'm doing other hobbies or chores, etc.

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection9
Mar 20, 2026
Stories 3 is mechanically, a perfect evolution on Stories 1 and 2, and possibly the best Monster Tamer game in the genre. The characters and story are compelling, visuals are beautiful, and the music goes hard for a lot of the game. Mechanically, the monster breeding and taming aspects feel very intuitive and user friendly, making it feel rather relaxing and also satisfying to get the strongest monsties possible. My main criticism:
- Lacks the multiplayer aspect of the first and second games.
- No post-story content, which the first and second games had. Despite these, the game is still amazing and I am satisfied with the product I recieved, hoping for more content in the future!

Why is this game rated so low? Incredible horror game that is extremly faithful to the original IP
Atmosphere is top tier.
The Alien AI is incredible, very intense.

Game is amazing, feels like it innovates well on the rogue-like and beat 'em up concept. Characters are great, but the story isn't anything too special. Artstyle is awesome. Nov 22, 2025
Yotei's gameplay seems to improve a lot on what Tsushima was, with a greater and more enjoyable world to explore. The story isn't as good as Tsushima, with the ending feeling somewhat lacking, however the characters themselves are quite fun. The intro doesn't hit me as hard as Tsushima's intro, but the story is quite different in comparison so it's understandable. Overall a good experience.

Silksong is an incredible sequel to the original Hollow Knight. After 100%'ing the game, I understand why it took Team Cherry 7 years to make. Elden Ring Nightreign8
Jun 4, 2025
The game is very fun and addicting with friends, however without communication it can be frustrating. It can be rather overwhelming at first, but once you grasp how it all works, it all flows together very well. The randomness of the game can be improved, as runs sometimes don't feel much different. Each class is fun with their own playstyle, very well designed in this part. Some performance issues depending, shouldn't be too hard to fix, and not too game affecting. A promising start for a new director at FromSoftware.
PlayStation 5
