You have to figure out whether or not you find the Bleach universe interesting, because that interest needs to be there lest you grow tired of the simple combat system, the limited amount of backgrounds, the confusing story and the levels that quickly begins to repeat themselves.

Bland gameplay and weak narrative implementation. [Nov 2011, p.106]

It is a title that offers little content, but it can be a long experience if the player wants to improve his favorite character to the limit.

I've played the game a long time ago, but I do remember that I enjoyed the big cast of characters. Each character was unique in the way it plays and I enjoyed to be able to put myself in the shoes of some of my favourite heroes (or villains). And it was pretty cool to relive some of the anime big moments. I did not enjoy the massive grind to get the platinum, because it was my first 100+ hours game and it was draining. Still would've loved a remake for PS4/PS5, but it seems we are getting a brand new one so that's even better.

Bleach fans might enjoy the abundance of playable characters, and the solid combat, but the story is rather limited. If you can find the game at a decent price, you might be in for a treat.

Overall, this game is pretty solid. It combines the flashiness of Devil May Cry and the fast-pacing combat of something like Dynasty Warriors. It's actually a lot better than most anime games now. There are some problems with it like pacing and the camera but honestly, the other stuff that it has in exchange is pretty good. I would definitely like to see Sony make a sequel one day with improved gameplay and new characters. Better than most anime games Bandai makes.

Overall, it's a very solid game. The Dynasty Warriors formula has carved out a niche, so they could have done much worse. I wish there were more things to do, but if you're a completionist you'll easily get your money's worth.

Fun for a Bleach fan such as myself. Players who are not Bleach fans will not enjoy the game nearly as much as the back story is completely MIA.

This game is very hard to play unless you get used to it and then you might think it's easy. I should suggest to people who have got this game to not play it on Very Hard mode because you will be screaming your head off like I do. You would not like to come to my house to see me playing Bleach because I go absolutely crazy at it. They really should have an Easy mode on it because then it would be so much easier to play and I am not joking when I say all of this. It is absolutely true, I can tell you that for a fact. No really, it is. I could play the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm games better than I can play this game. It's one of the hardest games I have ever played. I could almost say it is Hardcore. It is hell to play and I have got hell to pay if I play this game. Apart from when I keep spamming. Ithink that's reeeeeeeeally cool. Some of the levels are easy but not all of them. I take time to level up the characters because it's that hard. I am trying to level up Ichigo at the moment. I'm only at level 13. Can you believe it? I really need to play it more I think. I think it should be my main game to concentrate on. It may look easy but it's not. The eyes can play tricks when you play this game. Some of the bosses are mega hard, especially Barragan, god he is hard. Ulquiorra is also a hard character to play as because when you try to move him he keeps doing another move, plus, he's too slow. I expected him to be a good character to play as. The best characters in the game are Nnoitora and Ichigo Kurosaki. I like Ichigo because he is the easiest character to play as, so is Nnoitora. I like Nnoitora's scissor hands, they are awesome I have to say. He is like Edward Scissorhands.

It's not that bad. It's not great, but Bleach is a game that you could happily waste a couple of hours on. [Issue#209, p.94]

I had a fairly good time with Bleach: Soul Resurreccion. I never really knew what was going on in the story, and the button mashing destroyed my hands, but it was an enjoyable, mindless romp in a really pretty anime world.

Die-hard fans of the anime can feel free to throw an extra [10 points] onto the final score, but with repetitive cannon fodder enemy types, a nonsensical plot and some of the blandest and most repeated ad nauseum backgrounds I've ever seen in a video game, it's hard to justify going any higher. A little more care could have really made a difference. Pity.

Is it fun to play for a few hours? Sure, but the novelty is bound to wear off due to all the repetition. As fun as it is to abandon the role of observer and actually jump into controlling your favorite character, not much here feels all that exhilarating.

A licensed game that tries to emulate the Dynasty Warriors formula, but fails rather miserably. Gorgeously animated celshaded characters are not enough to lift up the repetitive hack and slash formula and the more than slightly nonsensical storyline. The fighting system is fun, but extremely limited, and can be stimulating for a few hours, but after you've had your fill there really isn't much incentive to pick it up again.

This is a phenomenal hack n' slash game. A very large amount of grinding which may drive some people away, but I love that aspect in games. It has a great selection of characters and the combat is well done. My only complaints about this game are the lack of detail in the story mode, and the exclusion of any sort of multi-player aside from leaderboards.

Me sabe mal que no le echara todas las horas que me hubiera gustado. El hecho de que no viniera traducido al español tuvo algo de culpa, lo reconozco.
