Generally, the performance is decent enough on an Xbox One X, even if the aesthetic is all over the place. One minute players are treated to some great looking creatures, lighting and effects, and then next there will be some laggy performance and low quality textures. Again, ARK veterans should know what to expect more or less. To spite some issues and inconsistent performance, ARK: Genesis Part 1 is a solid content drop for the game so far and should hopefully be enough to hold players off until Part 2 which is scheduled for later in the year.

DO NOT BUY Ark Survival Evolved. This game is very broken. Don't take my word for it; look at their website: ****/hc/en-us/articles/227266608-High-Ticket-Volume Their website constant displays the banner "High Ticket Volume." "We are currently experiencing a high volume of tickets. Due to this, you may be experiencing longer than normal wait times." They have a high volume of tickets because Ark Survival Evolved has many problems. The developers are playing god in the game; they break game code, causing bugs. The lag/glitches in the are terrible. The game developers play in the mega tribes on the severs, use cheats, and are above Ark's code of conduct. Wildcard has no oversight over the developers. They create an imbalance of power. The developers allow teaming when it's in their favor. The developers are the code of conduct enforcers, which is a conflict of interest.

I'm over the DLC already. The dieing upon teleportation and the hassle of it is getting old. Has a good concept. Very let down by Genesis. Should have been free!!

Random porting on death, killed 2 secs on spawn. Bugged untamable new dinos. Bios are wall locked into cubes. This feels like an EA take on Ark... all we need now is loot crates .
