I recently replayed this masterpiece. The writing of this game is out of this world! I love the villains in this game more than most protagonists of today's video games. How video game writing has fallen! One point taken off for being buggy - some random bugs can turn friendly NPCs hostile toward you.
One point of being interesting in the beginning. Another point for the art style. That's it. This game has a non-ending. And the language is super cryptic. You don't ever deduct anything, the game deducts for you. You don't reach any conclusion, the game forces conclusions on you even if you don't understand. This game is just a movie, and imagine watching a movie where people are having non-conversations, and questions only gets non-answers. A very disappointing game.
Besthesda,of all people, think they can make a game that doesn't have an autosave mechanic. It only takes one crash to make hours of your gameplay go to waste. Don't even think about touch this game. It's completely ruined by the technical aspects.
If Split Fiction does everything wrong, it will become this game. Unintuitive control, terrible visual, haptic and sound feedback. The fact this game is rated 3.9 on epic says it all. Epic almost never has a game that is under 4.0
Absolutely **** writing. Makes me want to vomit. This is low even for Marvel standard. I always thought Sony was better at writing, but obviously I am wrong.
Blizzard, ****. Just how money-hungry are you trying to be? Season 6 is made for DLC owners, because without it, you lose 20% defense stats and even more offense (mercs boost your def and a big chunk of your offense, not to mention the broken runes, it's like having one more aspect and a skill bound together on one gear). Spiritborn is its own thing and that's okay, but you made it nearly impossible for non-DLC-owners to reach Torment IV. Season 6 is gonna be the final season for me. Can't wait to play PoE 2.

The most OVERRATED game I have ever played. The developers **** it up by constantly forcing you to witch weapons. Switching between two weapons would have been fine, but here you have to switch between 4 weapons, each of which has 2 mods, which means you need to switch between 8 firing modes for specific enemies. The most annoying one is the sniper, really slow switching speed plus trash aim assist. This game is the perfect example of "my first little game is so successful, but I want to elevate it to AAA for the sequel" but done **** it up. **** you Bethesda.
It's unbelievably clunky. The parry window is generous, but it's inconsistent, and sometimes you miss the parry because you stand too close to the enemy WTF? The distance you need to travel back if you are killed is ridiculous. The world is empty and anti-exploration. The performance is atrocious. My GPU handles most games with Ultra settings easily, but with this game I get stutters with High settings.
I can't believe how dumb this game is. How did the series fall from a legend like Kiryu to a child's story like Ichban? I highly recommend this game to anyone with severe brain damage.
How can a game with this kind of idiotic gameplay still exist in 2023? Yakuza 0 is the only good Yakuza game with a good story, goofy Japanese humor and satisfying combat. All other Yakuza games are grindy, padded out and idiotic. This genre had its run in ps2 ps3 era, but enough is enough, don't be like a **** Ubisoft game and milk your fans.
Frigging nonsense, not only does the **** dev force us to play Sissy of War, now they make us make a decision that serves no purpose and potentially ends the franchise once and for all. There will not be Gears 6, they ruined it. That's why they are making a prequel, what a bunch of incompetent losers.
The game tries so hard to be funny and it's cringy. Aside from that, it's just a bullet sponge game and Microsoft has tons of account issues. Microsoft, incompetent as ever.
Whatever good foundation ME1 and ME2 have laid down, are destroyed by ME3. Character's fates are often decided by a single conversation checkpoint, and the reason for their survival or death is so laughably explained in game. There are 3 endings, two of them are horrible, the other one is supposed to be bittersweet, but it is so rushed that I just can't feel the bittersweetness. What a failure, I should have stopped at ME2.
To think that I almost gave up on this game when I got the rifle and faced the bat thing. I thought I was experiencing a terrible difficulty spike, but it turned out the rifle was simply the most horrible weapon in the game. For that reason alone I can't give this game a 10, it's a shame because everything else - the visuals, the sound, the story - is almost perfect.
Story: written by preschoolers. Graphics: They promised a lot, but the end product is not even comparable with old games like Witcher 3 or God of War 2018. Combat: shallow, uninspiring. No rules for what color is best for what enemies, you just need to mindlessly cycle through colors to find out. Save yourself time and money and skip this junk.
This game begins with rhythmic combo fun, but ends up just an action game of tons of QTE and 3D platforming. The playstyle in the endgame changes drastically to button smashing.
The story is a joke, extremely subpar compared to Shadow Gambit and Desperados III. Inconsistency of logic, since when can an inquisitor lock 8 people at the same time, and since when can Marley do damage? And since when can Marley restore reality using memories but also alter them so she can remove someone from the physical world? The writing is a clusterfruck.
Gameplay: Gaelle, the spore woman, and Afia are totally broken, they can do it all. And it's so repetitive, it's always the same thing, distract and kill. The other two above-mentioned games were never repetitive, you always have new trouble when going to the next map.
Summary: This sequel is unbelievably disappointing. And remember, this review is from someone who played Shadow Gambit + DLC twice, and Desperados III + DLC frigging three times.
You are either in a cutscene or you must follow a very specific scripted route for the mission. Going the wrong door? Mission Failed. Stopped the fleeing person before a cutscene was supposed to be triggered? Mission failed. This game is JUNK.
Not that bad at all! The questline with the cardboard costumes is goofy and funny as hell. The main story is a little bit immature, but as non-fan of previous iterations, I don't care at all. Combat though, leaves a whole lot to be desired. And the game still isn't quite finished in its current state, tons of bugs, none game breaking, but still drives you mad from time to time.
I get it when old fans get pissed because they changed a lot of stuff. But there are also anti-woke warriors that immediately trash this game because they see a non-binary boss and Asian, Latina and Black teammates. Forced diversity is annoying, but in a game where the story doesn't really matter, this aspect shouldn't have made them rage. These haters have problems and they need to be under watch, they'll become some sort of terrorist one day.
The game starts out fun, with a fascinating story and engaging combat. But as you progress, the game becomes more and more frustrating. The Map is a maze, it's atrocious. Checkpoints are very lazily implemented (equally terrible as Alan Wake and Quantum Break). Difficulty spike is crazy, during the same fight, you can take bullets on the chin while some enemy spawns out of nowhere and one-shot you with a tracking missile, and it's not easy to tell which one is the demolitionist because they all practically look the same. There aren't many side-quest boss fights but they are all very frustrating, you basically get dark-souls bosses but you have no i-frame and HP regen. In summary, while playing this game, you are either cutting through hoards like cutting paper or you are getting owned by the enemies, there's no balance whatsoever. Alan Wake, Quantum Break and Control all have this difficulty spike problem. Remedy is good at graphics and story-telling, but their combat design leaves a lot to be desired.
Out of the three iterations in the franchise, the 1st one is by far my favorite, the gameplay is a little frustrating, but the game makes up for in good writing and vibe overall. The 3rd game though, is like a freshman vacation project which completely ruins a franchise.
This game is so **** buggy. First, a bug prevents me from doing the Ryujin questline because one of the NPC won't appear at the blue marker spot. And then the main quest bugged out when I need to eliminate the starborn when the starborn start to teleport everywhere on the map. Pathesda, what a joke.
The control is like ass. It's clear they wanted to make a movie, and the combat is just an afterthought. Each chapter is so frigging long with seemingly endless waves of enemies and repetitive combat.
2 years already, promises after promises, this game is still a buggy crap. I'm sure Techland consists of 80% marketing department, 10% amateur programmers and 10% cringy writers, which is 100% crap.
Wow just WOW, how pathetic Fetchland is? They doubled down on fetch quests, this time, they made every object **** area-object. How can any pathetic dumbass like this game?
Just a flipped version of Dead Island. Same settings, same story, same fetch quests. But unlike DI, your combat ability is ****, your gears are ****, and your loot is ****. I don't know what problems Polish people have, they are so sadistic.
Every time when you start a Gearbox game, you have to pray for a miracle for it to work. And it didn't happen. Pisspoor programming from a third-tier dogshlt developer.
I can barely call this thing a game. It's clear that Naughty Dog wants to be Hollywood, then just **** go do Hollywood. Oh wait, they can't, they ran out of juice, in the past decade the only thing they did was remaking and re-remaking. Pathetic.
I can tell you right off the bat that this game is even more unforgiving than the previous one. If you hesitate for half a second during a QTE or hesitate to take a turn, you are dead. This mechanic is as old as gaming itself, and I don't want to see it in any modern games.
On top of that, this game is a buggy mess. Odoris can randomly stop working, meaning you can't find a suitable ground anywhere. Guard can get stuck in motion when you distract them, and they are stuck forever without any means to direct them to another direction. All must be solved by completely closing the game and restart and a simple checkpoint reload won't do.
I initially gave this game a 0, but after finishing it, I changed my mind, still pretty enjoyable despite the bugs and bad graphic optimization. Buy it on sale.
This sequel inherits all the bugs of the first game and adds more. But what really breaks this game for me is the logan nerf. As far as I know, they nerfed his damage, crit rate and instant-kill rate at the same time. That's an overkill for nerfing. Whichever insane dude at Techland who made this decision, needs to be fired and never be allowed to work in the gaming industry. And unlike the first game, this game has no exploration value.
Have you heard of a problem called "stuck at 99%", this was a problem we had when we were children, but it's in the past. Guess what, the EA f^cking launcher brought the past back. My download speed is usually 70MB/s, the launcher told me it was supposed to be ready in 30 minutes, but it took f^cking 2 hours to download. On top of that, the **** EA launcher randomly decides it doesn't want to launch the game. It's really impossible for me to enjoy the game when EA tries so hard to ruin it for me. And given that EA is a team of lazy, toxic, pedo, feeble-minded incompetent asses, the problems probably will never get fixed.
Edit: refunded, what a stuttery mess. I guess if you absolutely have to play this crap, try PS5 then.
"The Game Is Fixed" LOL - clicking LS to sprint doesn't work half of the time.- the oracle optics randomly doesn't work, have to reload- Kerenzikov randomly doesn't work- biomonitor randomly doesn't work- skipping conversation randomly doesn't work- mission "violence" softlock- mission "New Person, Same Old Mistakes" softlock, ironic mission name LOL- boxing mission with Rhino, if have perks or cyberware that trigger AOE, her gang will agro and the mission gets forever stuck- driving out of border resets your location, but then it randomly resets you wherever you go, have to reload- police randomly agro even if you are only returning fire at the mobs- purple weapons sometimes drop as 4++, you get no materials if dissembling them- randomly removes the skeleton and hands cyberware which are acquired through perks- turning off enemy cameras through laptops randomly doesn't work- Type-66 "Windgate" not showing after purchase- vehicle contracts spawns in a restricted-action zone, no way to get the car out- Overwatch sniper weridly gets a mission symbol on it and cannot be stored- "The killig moon" mission stuck after killing you-know-who, had to pick him/her up to progress- visual bug, random texts appear when jacking-in- "Run this town" can't open inventary after de-activating Aguilar imprint, have to reload to fix it- cyberware capacity fluctuats, which results in Max HP fluctuates (by perks)
How did this crap get so much applause? It's buggy as hell! Seriously you cannot trust any big Reviewers like IGN nowadays. How does this game get a decent score? 1. Vehicle contracts can spawn in a restricted-action zone, meaning your guns will be sheathed forcibly, and you are forced to step out of the car. Thus the mission cannot be finished.
2. Type-66 Windgate doesn't show in your car inventory after purchase. 3. Turning off the security cameras doesn't always work.
4. The mission "Old Person, Same Old Mistakes" completely bugs out. The sliding door is closed, with no way of opening it.
5. Randomly disables my skeleton and hands cyberwares, which you acquire through perks. Return to a ripperdoc can fix it. 6. Biomonitor cyberware sometimes not triggering. Return to a ripperdoc, take it off and re-equip it will fix it.
7. Purple weapons sometimes drop as Tier 4++, you can sell them, but if you dissemble them, you get no materials.
8. After the final main mission of the DLC, the Overwatch sniper suddenly got a mission icon and could not be stored.
It would have been a great mobile game. But for a PC game, it's a meh. To summarize the game in a few words: "shiny garbage". If you like clicking buttons and watching shiny animations but don't care much about story and immersiveness, then this game is great news for you.
