Dessa vez, com duração maior, apresentação muito melhor e puzzles mais integrados entre os jogadores, esse jogo elabora sobre os rascunhos dos primeiros jogos e se apresenta como a intenção inicial dos criadores desde o primeiro jogo.Já começamos com uma cutscene narrada que adiciona mais camadas à história do jogo sem perder o aspecto misterioso da franquia. Os puzzles foram tematizados para essa história e funcionam perfeitamente bem como atmosfera lovecraftiana, que me lembrou bastante Amnesia em alguns sentidos. A história também adiciona ingredientes de terror e fantasia que incrementam a motivação da gameplay.Quanto aos puzzles, a grande maioria flui muito bem, sendo desafiadores a princípio, mas possíveis de resolver com comunicação entre os jogadores. A dinâmica do cooperativo mudou bastante, o que esmaeceu a diferença entre as funções. Isso é especialmente reforçado pelos vários encontros com o outro jogador durante o jogo e uma maior movimentação de ambas as partes, passando de áreas externas às salas do castelo.A experiência dos dois jogos iniciais da franquia foi muito boa, mas sempre com uma sensação de promessa ao contrário de surpresa. Foi apenas nesse terceiro jogo que me senti realizado com o que esperava e surpreso com o que joguei.

If Split Fiction does everything wrong, it will become this game. Unintuitive control, terrible visual, haptic and sound feedback. The fact this game is rated 3.9 on epic says it all. Epic almost never has a game that is under 4.0

Ultimately, We Were Here Together is a must-play for fans of both co-op adventures and challenging puzzles. There are a few minor issues here and there (especially where the online matchmaking is concerned), but this new entry serves as a delightful cherry on top of an already impressive franchise cake. If you can find a likeminded friend willing to go on this adventure with you, I’d recommend doing so as soon as possible. One the other hand, if you’re still not convinced, I’d suggest picking up the original We Were Here, which is currently free on Steam.

Best game to chill with friend and spend a few hours together solving the puzzles. I wish its just a beginning for Total Mayhem Games and we will see more their projects from this company in furute.

We Were Here Together is, by far, the best installment of the whole series. It’s finally long enough to last you several evenings, it’s much prettier, better to listen to, and its puzzles - finely tailored for two-player cooperation - will torture your mind. It’s just a shame that the story is so weak it’s barely even there.
