I haven't played many tactics game except for one fire emblem game but I don't feel like there's much actual tactics about this games and I played the game on hard mode. There aren't a whole lot of variety of how you want to play the game and you won't get much penalty is you make a wrong move. The gameplay feels repetitive and story and storytelling feels bland and much less engaging than P5R and P5S.

This is a much better version than the original. The characters are more vivid, the storytelling is easier to understand, and the new demons are mesmerizing. Absolutely love every moment of the game!

I will leave out the pros and focus on the cons. The story progression is really choppy and incoherent due to so many minigames. I frequently forgot what the main plot is and what I should do next after I finish grinding minigames. The plot is super confusing. I didn't play the original but the last chapter is confusing as hell. WTF is happening here. Is Aerith OK? Why is Cloud appearing here and in the next second a different place? And why and what Zach is doing here suddenly? I don't even understand Zach's role and narratives in the whole game. I feel like the game is really bad at telling a good story. And I was questioning myself why I spent so much time playing this game to end up with a bad taste in my mouth. At this point, I am wondering why we need 3 games for ff7 at all. Can't we just do 1 remake and truncate all unnecessary parts and tell a good story?

I have never played persona 3 before so this is my first experience on persona 3. The art style and music is as good as others in the series. The battle, especially theurgy, is pretty cool. The one point off is due to the plot to the end, which doesn't make too much sense to me and is weak. Additionally, the hard mode seems too easy compared to others in the series.

Really looked forward to it and it didn't disappoint. It's super addicting: aI have spent too much time playing it and now I felt burned out after finishing it. Nitpicking: the game is on the easy side and the story was not as dramatic as the previous one though.

Fantastic music and good game as usual in the SMT series. The one point off is because it's difficult to get to the true ending without looking up a guide.

Visuals are nice but an Ok game I guess. I am not a fan of platform games, so typically Mario games are not really my type.

Standard game and standard gameplay without suprise. One major complain is that some of the puzzles are quite obscure and ridiculous.

Fascinating sim game but becomes a little repetitive in the late game. There are several times the game shuts itself (switch version) due to some errors, so I need to replay the whole day again, which is annoying.

One of the best RPGs I have ever played! It is so unique and refreshing. The animation is perfect and you can tell how much love, efforts, and creativity that RGG studio had put into this game. This is my first game into the series and I am already a fan.

Very fun game to play. It would be made better if it supports a real co-op mode for the story, like Pikmin 3 deluxe.

I waited till now to play the game as I heard from my friends that there are already patches to fix the gameplay. I hate to say this but I really don't like my experience so far. I have been playing the games for 3 hours but am totally underwhelmed and in my opinion, the game is still far away from fixed. I have played all Pokemon main series and this is the first one that I feel offended. First, the graphics is a downgrade from shield and I feel like I am playing a 3DS game on switch. Everything looks really bad (e.g. shadow, walls, houses, you name it). I don't mind graphics that much if the gameplay is smooth. However, the game also suffers from numerous performance issues. Second, the developers are being lazy. For most houses in towns, you cannot enter them as in previous games, and for most stores in towns/cities, you cannot enter them either -- you are simply shown a list of items that you can buy, and there are only very few NPCs who you can talk to. They don't even bother to design the simple dialogues. This level of laziness is unbelievable. Third, the control design is really bad. Whenever I leave some stores or finish talking to someone, I usually end up with stealth mode because of pressing B buttons. This is so stupid. Additionally, the camera rotates in a way that is so uncomfortable and makes you nauseous. I am easily addicted to games but this is the first game that I have self-control. After playing 3 hours, I am able to stop and tell myself -- ok, that is too much for today, which shows how lackluster it is. I do like the design of new Pokemons but the game was released too soon -- they should give themselves at least two more years and bring us the best game experience.

It takes a bit of time to be accustomed to the combat system from the turn-based SMT and P5R, but once you get the gist, it is super fun! The music is excellent as always, with touches of hard rock/metals added to the original P5R styles. I especially like the second to last boss. The music, cutscenes, battles are perfect.

This is my first fire emblem game and it is overall an enjoyable experience. The animation, voice acting, gameplay, and music are quite good, despite some occasional low frame rate when the map is large and crowded with enemies (still quite impressive for Switch games). I particularly like the personalities of some of the characters and their support conversations, which I find really funny. One thing I don't like is the repetitive activities in Somniel, which I find annoying but I still feel compelled to do it for a few stats boost.

Excellent game like what I expect from the series but I like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 a bit more.

I didn't play the original ff7 but I was hooked by the game, from the beginning to the end! Everything is impeccable and I'm so looking forward to the next chapters of the game!

Mediocre game that almost feels the same as Two Point Hospital, just with a different setting. If you played Two Point Hospital, you will probably get bored pretty soon like me.

I bought this game because my wife wants to play a co-op game together with me. I thought I wouldn't like this game because I dislike most Mario games. I was totally wrong about this for this game. The game was so much fun even though I was just a hat when my wife played Mario. I really hope they will release the next game of the series soon!

No thanks. I bought the game due to the good reviews. However, the game really disappoints. The plot is so predictable and the skits are especially annoying. Why can't they just make them into cut scenes? I feel the developers are just being lazy and it feels weird for gamers to stare at some static slides and listen to the unimportant dialogues. The only thing I like about the game is the combat but overall it was a total waste of time.

I picked up this game because of my perfect experience in Persona 5. The game doesn't have a plot (I mean it) compare to other RPGs, but magically I am happy to play it to the end without a complain. The music may sound monotonous or dull at first but it actually fits surprisingly well to the world the game tries to describe and thus I feel the composers/developers are really clever about this. I played the game in normal difficulty, and it was one of the most difficult normal difficulty I have ever played. I blacked out a few times at the first few hours into the game but the game is becoming much easier later on once you get the mechanics. Something is magical about this game but I couldn't really tell. What a weird yet enjoyable experience!

Although I have played quite a lot of JRPG games, my first Persona game into the series gave me so much surprise. The game is so refreshing! The story itself is for sure intriguing, but I have to point out what attracts me the most are the impeccable art style and music. The game integrate everything perfectly and it is something I rarely experience in other JRPG games. I will defenitely check out other Persona games!

Many people seem to like this game but for me I like X much more. The things I dislike the most are the obscure trading system and running back and forth on the map without instant transportation. The story feels weak and is not my liking either.

I like South Park so I bought the game. To be honest, I don't have high expectation for the game, but I was wrong. Surprisingly, it is one of my favorite RPG games. It feels like watching a long South Park movie and I am cracked all the time.

Although it is a bit short, I enjoy this game very much. Highly recommend it.

Best Pokemon experience I would say. Previous games have been tedious and too easy, and easy games mean no fun. This game is significantly more challenging and I very enjoy it. The pokemon are more vivid and for the first time, I have the desire to fill in the Pokedex instead of finishing the main story as soon as possible. Although the graphic is not the best, especially in water, I would say this game is a great leap and I truly have a blast.
