COD was once the bench mark for FPS and what every one strived to be. However those days are long gone and sledge hammer has continued to not only put nails in the coffin, but has dug the hole and started throwing dirt in. This game is beyond rubbish, its has outdated graphics, terrible animation, weapons, physics, map development and sound. There is not one single redeeming feature. Activision and sledge hammer should hold their heads in shame as this shambles and desecration of COD. R.I P. old friend its a shame you died with out the grace and respect you deserved.

I have been a COD player since the beginning and with Ghost I was let down, AW I went well that's not much better and then with BO3 I had hoped they would turn it around, but it shows they just don't learn from their mistakes. For a next gen console game, the graphics is nothing to rave about and the gameplay seems to have taken a massive step backwards. There is not one redeeming feature about this game and is just a total waste and surely another nail in the coffin of a once great franchise

Oh god how pathetic when developers and marketing people have to give positive reviews for games just to try and boost their sales. Anyone who rates this game a 7,8,9 or 10 out of 10 are just not being realistic. I was looking forward to this game and was hugely disappointed. Its uninspired, buggy, nowhere next gen, little own last gen and with 10 years past since the last title the game has not made any improvements and instead have destroyed a good game. DO NOT WASTE your money.

Yes indeed I too agree the JabbaTheSlush and thank you for mentioning you work for M$ because just on that knowledge i ran and bought this awesomely polished and perfect game. It is flawless and shown why we would all love the new smart glass because im sure it too will be without bugs and work as displayed. This game should be running in every game shop showing just why you would want a kinect and how the console controls work in sync. Because thats what you want to be using every control that goes with a console and of course have to own it to play the game. Yes perfect combination and the reason why these games are surely more successful than the COD franchise.

What a bunch of monkey spunk.............. A complete and utter let down, the game has made no games it physics, AI, game play, weoponry, maps anything. My god of all sequels this has got to be up there with the ones that blows the most. I **** i do say loved the COD MW series, and now they have completely turned me off as they produced this crap that did nothing for the genre of games in general. Infinity ward just another money grabbing bunch of stokers, hmmmm they have become another EA sports.

Yes well totally dissapointing. Graphically yes it looks nice, in some instances but the physics, game play, story line, AI and overall feel of the game just misses by a mile. All you have to say is Borderlands with better graphics however missing every aspect of borderlands that made it a good game. I would say nice try FAIl, but really its just a screaming FAILURE all road.

Well as an anticipated bridge between THQ's UFC next installment, and the lost but not forgotten EA MMA I had hopes that a new MMA game with some deeming quaities may actually bring about some good competition. Oh how wrong could i have been. From the developer going on about what the game would do and their take on MMA and the gritty underbelly of the up and **** bla bla, What is delivered is a poor mans hill billy cousin to MMA and fighting as a whole. The old and i mean old killer instinct did a much better job of the blood and brutal fighting wrapped in a 2 dimensional fight and that was 20 years ago. If you want 2 minutes of poor punches, kicks, and fighter that doesnt even have a create your own fighter or career aspect at all, then hire it, buy it to return it the next day or add another coaster to your collection as Supremacy MMA achieves nothing more than being a supreme waste of the name MMA on a boring out dated gaming model. So much for the competition THQ, your all by yourself. AGAIN.

Holy crap what an increadible waste of time, this has so little going for it an in crazy to think that it is even an 2011 release for new consoles. Games of the same genre were made better back on the old Vic 20 or commodore 64. From game play that has just hap-hazard shooting with no difference from weapon to weapon. A cover system that never feels like your in cover, rag doll effects which is more like a thunder birds puppet show, one of the worst story lines of the modern era ( OMG one second your in Africa, the next your shooting in a computer main frame like a throw back to TRON ) geesh what drugs were these guys/gals on. Seriously avoid the game at all cost. CRAP, CRAP, and more SUPER CRAP.

Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale3
May 26, 2011
What a dissapointment that had so much possibility. From terrible fixed camera, god who doesnt allow you to change the height/elevation of you camera so as to get a persective your happy with, geesh. To glitches that at times just allows all the Monsters to freeze as you walk around the entire level hacking them down. Or the below par dialogue and endless repetive boring smash barrel, 1 gold bla bla bla. But that dwindles to the poor character selection, customisation and wasted potential. D and D is so much about the character and seeing what unique development and power can be created. Daggerdale just brings itself back to the Golden Axe era, that was good in the 80's but is well and truly behind the times.

For all people reviewing this saying how good it is and what the improvements are they need to get out more. Yes the graphics are good, and the game play does present some nice driving. But the interface, car selection, and overall presentation of the game is just a huge step in the wrong direction. If you like having to be presented with an annoying voice that shows you the in's and out's of the race you are about to do like you the **** child of a inbred hill billy the go for gold. I seruously wanted to shoot myself having to listen to the BS and be led through the game without being able to skip the crap and get to racing. Then there are the options of you cars, they rave and hype about car selection then make you race in there classified box again until you just want to shoot yourself. So then you go to the what was once the awesome damage model of the dirt series. Where did it go. The crashes use to be the reason to play, as the car was destroyed from poor or agressive driving. Now your just let down with a lack luster move away from something different to a monkey see monkey do, although visually stunning game. All the good has gone, and what is left is a beautiful looking shell ****.

What a complete and under waste of money time and effort. Time and time again, we are treated to the hype and possibility of something worth the wait, and yet we are presented with this complete and utter rubbish. It not only doesnt move the genre forward, it allows for countless other companies to just roll out the same old crap time and time again. It is no wonder that COD and Battlefield rule the market when no one looks at the opporunity to create greatness, but rather just uses the wave of FPS fame to produce nothing new, unique, or adventurous. You have played it all before, many many many times there is nothing good about the game, and any reviews that are favourable need to splap themselves into reality and get out of the house. YOU HAVE GONE BLIND.

Being an avid fight fan, and fan of the series for many years I constantly want it to live up to the hype and expectations that i have and im sure many other fight fans have. So do you bench mark the game for where it is now, where the hype places it, or where it has improved. Me i was critical and looked at what they had improved.....well pretty much nothing. The blood is there, but so what its static and after you play a few times will see the same graphics and effects over and over again. I could list every catagory and say do the same, so to be brief let just say yes its all the same, over and over repeition. The game doesnt react to your play it just drones out the same mediocre rendition of give is money on something we did not deliver on. Fighter modelling is boring and so lack luster, animaition is slow and the supposed new fully encmpasing punch control, is the same old thing with everything in FN round 4 thrown aside. If it has worked before they didnt bother to use it and instead it looks like a beta from 5 or 10 years ago, where it had the basis for a good game, but they never really finished the polish and made it something to rave about or go out of your way to play. Instead its a dust collector who will soon be forgotten and not played, so in all a show of the times that EA need to start looking for some new talent, and a new direction instead of just playing safe and just bunting into the foul area over and over again. Yeah it doesnt get you out, but eventually everyone just switches off and looks for something else. Really disappointing.

EA Sports Active 21
Nov 29, 2010
A game like EA active 2.0 is a show case for how Kinect can fail, make people frustrated and put the Kinect system of game play out of business for good. To think that a company as big and profitable as EA can allow a system of gaming that uses the newest technology with every concievable flaw, fault, and gltich possible is beyond me. Do not bother with this title, as it does nothing to show you what can be done or what may be possible with the Kinect. It cannot use any function with any stability or consistancy and if I had tried this first or oberved this being played with the Kinect I would have laughed at it worthless potential. However given that other games can make similar function work, Im sure EA just gave this to the local pre-school to do as a project. If done by 3-4 year olds then maybe it a fair attempt, anything other than that its a reason to always ensure you keep your reciept for you money back. And to think with all the people out of work, someone actually got paid to make this. What a shame, as Im sure they will be looking for work themselves

Ok, so as to not rehash everything written about the game from bad menu's, THE **** come on where are you, the total lack of mechanical faults and wear and tear on the cars, or the rubbish AI. It is a reasonable driving game non the less. Does it live up to expectations and the HYPE not even close, and i mean they are not even in the same race which is where the blame should rest. With so long in the making everyone expected big things with improvement thats would blow your mind, and if you pay homage to that then of course you could give the game nothing more than a ZERO and im sure so many of the reviews come from that view point. If you put all that aside and just look at it from the merit of the game it is then, it has some crisp graphics, moments **** racing game and feeling of competition but it is so often clouded with the feeling of an imcomplete game that after all this time is still buggy, unpolished and not on par with other games in the genre. All things considered, the sound is the biggest let down by far, with dynamic crashes sounding like nothing more than a plastic coke bottle hit you in the hit, engines that resemble cards stuck on the spokes of your bike ( ah chlld hood memories ) and a sound track that is just a resume for people to find there place in the job que down at the local supermarket. I feel disappointed and robbed of the expierence that should have been a great game, but after the hype and constant delays should we have really expected that this would result in something great, as I cant remember a time where something game, movie, tv show, anything was delayed and the final product was worth the extra wait.

EA Sports MMA6
Oct 21, 2010
To give an honest opinion from someone who love fighting games and has followed Martial arts and of course the development of MMA from Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do, Bloodsports Kumite and of course the Gracies with UFC and later Dana White injecting some life back into the UFC format so that fans can expierence all the World formats such as Strikeforce or Pride. I will make more of the Oh My God its awesome or yeah its better than UFC 2010 cliche. So to the game : after my soap box blurb Well to be honest on face value the game seems to be packed with content and promises that would make you think it has delivered the full real deal. However as you get into it, the game starts to stutter and show you that EA really seemed to have held back. There are some great fighters, and some impressive options of gameface, events, career mode and online content. But none of it seems to have a sharp finish. The players all have the same regular moves, and alhtough it lists styles, and attitudes, or moves. They are all very generic and never showns the variation and tactics that you would want, so as to create the needed variation in playing AI, or espically for online play. Then although the graphics seem polished, the animation is just slow and never allows for the flow from one technique to the other to occur. With blocks being wasted, a Jab creating the most force and easiest way to crush an oppents, so much it left with a poor finish. The Spinning kick can be thown and blocked with ease yet a jab can just fly through a guard and rock you oppent. Well lets just test that in the ring and see what Bas Rutten would or Cung Le for that fact. The its the mediocre gameface creations, with restictions on so many areas and then the gameface from EA site or XBOX vision just not transferring any real atmosphere as the created players just dont look anything like the photo used. You see one thing on the PC edition and when transfered its just a generic piece of rubbish. Such a let down. Then the online although not a crushing disspointment like the poor cousin UFC 2010, you can find the fights, but the slow animation under lag can pose a very, very, very poor fight. With combos just non existant and a horrible expiernce. When there is no lag, its still a very limited expierence with so real feel of combat and more a bang, bang, bang jab exchange, to a take down, pound a little and go for submission or its up and repeat. No tactics, the use of the cage just doesnt occur and so many details have been left out you know its a get it out there first edition. Oh please dont let it be a drawn out Madden with so little changed but rosters and outfits. Well lastly the career also provides for no reason to play other than achievments and the obvious super CAF. ahain it is very lacking, slow, drawn out and although Bas Rutten is cool to listen to it just doesnt provide the depth or variation and flibility to create something different that can just be quickly thrown together in a create a fighter segmant. So overall, dont expect something that would crush THQ. Because EA have gone really soft and just pushed out something that has potential but doesnt deliver on any area with authority or with the polish that wuould hold any more than just a passing interst.

Medal of Honor5
Oct 12, 2010
Firstly its no wonder Medal of Honor finally moved with the trend and built on their title with the modern day play, instead of WW II. yes it followed the coat tails of the Call of Duty franchise, but fans of one at least have the competition and ability to now play them off against each other or so you would think. It seems everything that makes Call of Duty the success it is is just simply missing from Medal of Honor. From the rag doll physics, or the weapons ability to feel contact and penetrate the enviroment and provide a lasting online expierence. Not to say Medal of Honor is completly lacking, the weapons have some worth and the sound and feel of them are nice. But once fired although it penetrates objects to hit its target nothing seems more than a mediocre attempt and doing what is expected. The single player game play, follows a very linear pattern and allows for very little deviation. You see paths you want to take, doors that are open and opportunity to flack and randomise your attack plan. However the game boxes you in by only providing the necessary path and pushing you were to go. Even the addttion of some great sniping action and use of airborne weaponary cant save the game from making you feel like you playing an arcade shooter than allows only one path.....theirs. On that note the single player is so short, you will wonder if this is just the demo levels. As it was over before it ever began. Leaving that sinking feeling that Medal of Honor will just dwindle away into nothing as now it has been dwarfed by the Call of Duty monster.

R.U.S.E.6
Sep 8, 2010
Ok, so why would you buy the game? Having looked forward to it and being a RTS fan, I was disappointed, it it offering nothing really impressive in the gameplay or approach to how the game is played. Yes the cutscene videos and advertisements yet again show something that is not entirely true or clear as far as the actual games goes but yet should we expect any different? So the game, well it is just a pleseant graphical display of point and click action. You buy you unit place them and make them attack. Well have to say nothing really exciting ot tactical there. Yes you can use Ruse card that provide bonuses or use some tactical maneuvering on the battlefield, but when it comes down to it the fastest mouse click, or button clicker for the console and a repetitive display of knowing what beats what on the battle field. The AI is nothing special and with a crash course of unit selection it falls to pieces as it presents nothing of a challenge and makes game play ho hum. Another down side although not game related and more of a personal perspective is why WWII get over it. They are dime a dozen, god so many games are WWII cant we get over it and move on. Try some modern day battle. Let us invade a fictional China, Russia, India, Australia. Use the terrain. Bring it on.

Mafia II6
Aug 24, 2010
Although Mafia 2 has been anticipated and will obviously do well I have to ask myself why. Having played through the first and made the obvious comparison with the Godfather competition I cant really see any redeeming qualities that make the game stand out. Yes it is linear and of course this hold true to it being a story driven FPS rather than a Sandbox that kind of rings through in its portrayal and hype surrounding its release. Although I wasnt expecting it to be so much sandbox and GTA style unless they were really going to remove themselves from how the first game played out, I would have expected some more depth and scope to actually play as a character that had a wide range of choices and could move freely around his environment with something to do rather than live out a one dimensional story line. But hey, linear is not always bad....unless you were really expecting something different. So here I am to tell you done and you wont be disappointed. However the game really has nothing more to offer than the same graphics, gun play and some witty dialogue if you can be bothered not skipping the ever so endless, and I mean every time you fart or want to take a **** up pops some more dialogue. God seems like you cant take a dump without the game wanting to tell you some back story about wiping you ass. If you into that then hey enjoy. Overall the game does nothing to move the genre ahead, offers nothing more than some reasonable game play and dialogue, but with so much more that could be done with consoles, and PC's alike, none of the new game titles are pushing anything ahead. Yet they just seem to be treading water and offering a graphics upgrade. If your bored and have the extra cash by all means go ahead and buy the game, but dont expect anything new, exciting or markedly different. It all been done before. Nothing new to offer.

Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days2
Aug 17, 2010
Whether you judge the sequel on the first absolute flop your going to end up at the same place and thats a waste of time and effort. Kane and Lynch 2 again tried to ride the wave of hype and promise that it will deliver and learn from its mistakes. Well as many games before it and Im sure many more to come, it delivers nothing new, with little excitement and tries to push grit and gore on you in cut scene's as it knows the gameplay will just simply bore you to tears. Kane and Lynch 2 follows more in the footsteps of Reservoir Dogs ( the game ), Stranglehold, WET, Army of Two ( 1 and 2) and then every other FPS out there. However the story lines, game play, graphics, physics, and general game play were done so much better even from games made long before this coaster or dust collector. Whether it be from incredible poor AI, a graphics system destined on providing you an image of grainy gameplay in an attempt to create atmosphere yet even on a 50 Inch LED comes of as just old and outdated ( God I would hate to play this on an old 68 cm CRT ) or even have gore and risk in the cut scenes only to actually blur or cut out anything that would warrant the game get some sort of mention for pushing boundaries. I know I wasnt expecting much, and surely got even less than I expected but to see games on new consoles being delivered with hype time and time again and then seeing nothing more than out dated, heartless, boring, run of the mill rubbish its a wonder that people arent just packing up the console and moving on to something else. Yet as we come out a global financial crisis, people are still getting payed to release absolute rubbish, dont waste your time or money just hang in there and hope this crap is just a bad dream.

Aug 12, 2010
I played the first and although it was good was far from great, what the second improves on 12 years later is graphics and some gameplay thats about it. The strategy for all these RTS games is still missed on trying to execute some real tactics. What we are left with is building fast under the same BS rountine that everyone learns then is just a monkey see monkey do mouse click competition. It defeats the purpose of Real time strategy and with 12 years from 1 to 2 I would have expected a lot more.
