This is an easy 10 for me, one of the best graphics experiences I've had on the Pro, no bugs or gameplay issues so far (20 hours in). I needed another Dragon's Dogma to fill the gap and this delivers perfectly!

It's been 15 years since I experienced the same feeling playing a game. Thought I had grown out of gaming... But no, games were what changed! A turn based RPG, which isn't an anime style, or cartoon, or comedy / niche spoof kind of game. We've been sorely denied this experience for FAR too long and I'm so glad Clair Obscur lives up to all my expectations of what I consider where RPGs fell off the rails after Lost Odyssey. Hopefully the sales and reviews for this game will show other developers who abandoned this style of game that they ARE highly sought after and it's not turn based that people didn't like about any failed games in the past.

Sorry, but you take away the traditional combat, you take away the legacy and you ultimately get a zero rating. Stop butchering legacies such as Final Fantasy by turning them into dumbed down generic hack and slashes, we have enough of that. Battle system is critical! You simply don't mess with the core structure of this,it's what made FF stand out as it utilised tradition and made it modern in all other aspects, this is a compliment to the games not a detriment and tearing that out leaves it as a nothing, zero!

Absolutely stunning game. I'm over 40 hours in and the sidequests being unique and diverse has kept me extremely hooked. The story is excellent, the combat is some of the best i've experienced in open world RPG style games. I'll never understand why these games always get a lot of inapplicable criticism, I can only assume it's biased towards the dev / to boost other games, which is utterly dumb, but it happens!

True spiritual successor to the somewhat dead last of us franchise. The game gets bad scores from 'critics' who are quite frankly bent to a certain mindset of what a game should be rather than how good a game actually is. Games like this require investment and time to develop on you, not a 5 minute firework then nothing left.
