This is the most empty and lifeless game i´ve played in a while. if you guys are into this then you go ahead and play some assassins creed cuz guess what despite it´s bad reputation there is not a lot that makes it different...This could easily be an assassins creed game it’s not less inventive in fact Ubisoft create more detailed and prettier open worlds and Users would downvote the hell out of it. The only thing this one has that sets it apart from AC is the Sword Fighting which is actually kinda fun. But that is not enough to make this game good. I know people say it´s pretty but i gotta disagree there. i really cant stand the overcolored-try-hard-in-your-face artstyle, feels super artificial imo..

I am a huge fan of Bloodborne and call it one of my favorite games of all time. Bloodborne was my introduction to From Software. After playing BB i played DS3 and then Sekiro. While Bloodborne was and forever will be my favorite of them i had a lot of appreciation for DS3 and Sekiro. Things i love about Bloodborne is it´s smart level Design, it´s extremely challenging but rewarding Gameplay and it´s horrifying beauty. All these 3 things are lacking in this Game. I probably am part of a minority with thinking that this Game didn´t age well. In my opinion there is two types of difficult Games: a good one and a bad one. While i would classify BB, DS3 and Sekiro entirely as the former here it´s too much of the latter. Tight hallways that take your view while having extremely aggressive enemies in the way not being able to really see yourself or them well. Unbalanced Boss fights put in weird spaces that don´t seem nearly as thought out as later entries in From Softwares catalogue. Then there is the Level Design. This is where Bloodborne shines and delivers again and again with it´s clever and rewarding distribution of Lamps (checkpoints), something almost entirely missing from this Game. Whereas in Bloodborne and Post-BB Games i felt rewarded after fighting through a tough area arriving at a checkpoint or discovering a new area here i never have those experiences. There is no feeling of joy after finishing a Boss after studying their attack patterns because most Bosses lack ambitious mechanics. Moreover the Mechanics of Bosses don´t really feel integrated into the Gameplay. Again, with all the Post-BB Souls Games there was a coherence between the Boss Design and Gameplay mechanics. Whenever i died in those Games to a Boss or enemies i always felt like i wasn´t good enough, thinking about the enemy attack patterns and how i could improve. When i die here i find myself most of the time thinking about poor design choices such as the things mentioned. Another example of it´s unbalanced mechanics is farming for healing items. While BB did have the need to find healing items as well the distribution was way more balanced out and enemies would frequently drop them. In certain areas of Demons Souls you wont find any healing items at all which adds to the overall feeling of frustration this Game leaves me with.

A Masterpiece & the best Game in the Series This game is an amazing lesson in atmospherical density and level design, both things in which the prequels while improving on the gameplay, disappointed. It was also the first game ever that really made me feel like a superhero...

9,2 User Score? For real? I feel incredibly shocked by gaming culture these days. TLOU 2 which Set a new bar for storytelling in video games was review bombed and this repetitive game that does everything the exact same way and 100% caters to a non inventive open world trend with full of open world cliches and lackluster level design gets a 9,2? This could easily be an assassins creed game it’s not less inventive in fact Ubisoft create more detailed and prettier open worlds and Users would downvote the hell out of it. Unbelievable truly....

Sadly gaming culture isn´t as reflected is it wants to be and can´t handle psychological ambivalence all that well. Storytelling in gaming hasn´t come very far. You find these kinds of narrative structures in arthouse cinema for decades. I think this game was in a way too progressive for it´s audience. Despite it being so easy to criticize game journalists and critics i think people miss to critique the problematic culture of gaming. Also i really love Joel but he is a fictional character, loss however is a real thing. As someone that has been dealing with loss a lot this game helped me cuz i was able to strongly identify with the feeling to chase relieve and try everything to get a loved one back through certain actions. I think many people out there hating this game don´t actually really understand it and the emotional ambivalence it deals with. In my opinion this game is a progressive masterpiece and the reason it is so controversial comes from the very fact that it’s too progressive for the very culture that consumes it. It will someday be remembered as being way ahead of its time!!!

Entering the Wasteland for the first time: "Oh W3 had much nicer environments" Entering Diamond City: "Oh Novigrad was much more lively. And i could actually enter it without any loading screens." Playing through the main quest: "Oh W3 had much more epic and impactful storyline" Playing through the side quests: "Oh W3 did that way better, too!" Talking to NPC´s: "Well oh, W3´s dialogues were so much better written. NPC´s and their backstories were much more realistic." Its a fun Game but since W3 came out this year you can´t shake off the feeling that it seems kind of outdated after that...

Even if i think MGSV is a really good game i think it´s still hugely overrated by critics. I enjoyed the game a lot till the end of the first chapter. Now it really starts getting boring. I think it´s incredibly repetitive and annoying if you have to play story missions that you´ve already played again just to move forward in the story which is never really present anyways. But even those new story missions really don´t bring something new to the table. Playing this Game i start to see the huge advantage a non open world stealth game has. Games like Chaos Theory never got repetitive as this game does because you didn´t have to go back to the same area over and over again. For me the open world takes away the feeling of importance and freshness doing these missions. I´m not saying that it doesn´t have advantages too. The big areas and many opportunities it gives me are just amazing. This is actually something i missed since games like Chaos Theory and blood money. I think this Game was a great experiment while i don´t think that a fully open world like this game has is the best way to make a stealth game. As a big fan of stealth games i want to see games that take the advantages from both concepts. I think a linear game with sandbox areas for each mission and as many different infiltration options as MGSV gives you would be really great.

One of my All-Time Favorites and certainly one of the best stealth Games ever created. The Gameplay offers so many opportunities to access an area and handle a situation. That is what i really miss in more modern stealth Games. The Game also wonderfully arouses the feeling of being a spy. Since then there was no other Game on the market that could accomplish that in this form.

Take a bit of Skyrim, Red Dead Redemption, The Wolf Among Us and add following ingrediences: most beautiful and dense open World ever created, hard but rewarding combat and the most memorable side quests ever created from which many are dramatic storylines full of emotions on their own. No bad game but what really bugs me is that it is so overrated from critics. Probably the most overrated game series of all time. For it´s great living Open World with a big variety of activities and things to do it deserves a good score but for all it´s repetitiveness and gameplay imperfection it doesn´t deserve such a great score it gets. It doesn´t bring the gaming genre forward as it is just a very good big update to previous GTA Games. I also think it was a shame last year as this game had a higher metascore than The Last Of Us as that Game really revolutionized storytelling in gaming. This year it is the same again and i played both games again and GTA just feels a lot more repetitive and aged where i had still almost the same amount of fun with TLOU as last year. It is a good thing that metacritic has a user score but it is bad that it doesn´t get as much attention as the Metascore from critics. I think there should be a Meta-metascore where both are brought together because then we would finally see the real winner of 2013...

This game could have been much better. Adapted Gameplay Elements from Batman and AC feel good (except for the climbing) and the finishers here are even more fun than in batman as they are very violent. I also like the RPG Elements they integrated. Leveling up and getting better moves and runes makes you feel stronger and is necessary against strong enemies. And of course the nemesis system is great. Hopefully they will improve on the good basics in the future. The worst thing for me was the Unsightly Open World with only slaves and orcs in it. There are no villages with people or anything like that. I don´t enjoy spending any time in this world except for making the missions. There is nothing really to explore as the Elements in this sandbox are very repetitive and almost everything looks just brown and grey. Also i didn´t really have the feeling that gameplay and story was well combined. When i played missions i didn´t have the feeling to play a story. It was kind of separated from another. (Maybe im spoiled with this since The Last of Us) Pros: - Nemesis System - RPG Elements and Feeling more and more Powerful when leveling up Conts: - Repetitive and Unsightly Open World - Story and Gameplay are a bit separated from another - Monotonous Go from A to B Leveldesign - Climbing
