Surprisingly fun in split screen coop. I recently have purchased several crappy games and was scared to buy another one, but I got this for 20 bucks and my kids and I have actually enjoyed it.

Bought this for my daughters (8&11). They became bored very quickly. Too many details. Pacing too slow. Don’t waste your money.

This game is a pile of feces. Do not buy. I repeat do not buy. Again. Do NOT buy.

I purchased this for my eight year old daughter. She is taking it very seriously. Reading the text. Naming her discoveries, and finding excitement through exploration. I understand some of the negative reviews but for young kids this is wonderful. It’s pricey, too pricey. But it is beautiful and lovely for young kids.

This is a fun game. My daughters (ages 8 & 11) love it. Highly recommend. Don’t understand the bad reviews.

I enjoyed this game on switch 1 but didn’t finish it due to frame rate drops. Now, I am truly enjoying it. Wow. This is amazing. I was not enjoying DK Bananza. But this, wow. Holy **** it’s wonderful.

This review is a public service announcement. Do not buy this game. It is boring, repetitive, and with poor pacing. I watched the switchup review on YouTube and bought this game. It was a mistake. I wish I could get my money back. If you want a run-and-gun game buy BroForce. If you want a metroidvania: buy prince of Persia lost crown or Ori and the will of wisps. Don’t buy this because you’ll regret it.

This game makes me smile. I am a 43 year old man and got this for my daughters. We all love it. I had honestly been regretting buying a PS5 before playing this game.

This is a wonderful and beautiful game. The controls were awkward at first. But then, once you understand them it becomes so much fun. Button controls worked better for me. Many hours of high-quality gameplay.

I am a 43 year old man and this game was very enjoyable. I got it for my 9 year old daughter but ended up enjoying it more than her. It has a little complexity and tons of charm. It’s very relaxing. It just made me smile. The story is god awful but then, it doesn’t matter. It’s beautiful to look at and fun to play.

I got this on sale for six dollars. I’ve enjoyed it. In 2023 a game like this is worth ten dollars or less. If you pay more than that you might regret it. But less than ten, and you’ll be pleased.

This is fun. Simple sweet fun. Sometimes it goes on sale on the eShop for ten bucks. You won’t regret this for ten bucks assuming you enjoy solid side-scrolling platforming.

This is a strange game to review. It’s so beautiful and so fun. But then, it also just sort of seems tedious and boring. The quests start feeling the same. Sailing around makes you start thinking about assisted suicide. But then it has these friggin beautiful moments.

Boring game. Maybe would have been fun in 1995 but in 2023 it’s just painful. Do yourself a favor take the money you were going to spend on this game and use it to buy a few bananas.

Sadly, despite good controls and beautiful visuals, this game is not fun after a couple hours. It feels like a 20 dollar game. The whole EMMI thing is fun maybe the first two times but then just drags the game and its momentum down.

It’s beautiful with great controls and starts off fun. But after thirty minutes it all kind of looks the same and you don’t want to play any more. Super repetitive. Hades is more fun than this.

I watched and read several reviews on this game. Heck, polygon said it was their #2 game of 2021. So, I made the purchase thinking at least my daughter, who is really into coloring, would enjoy it. I watched her play for ten painful minutes. At first you anticipate it will be interesting but then it quickly becomes dull and tedious. The painting mechanic is a chore and it just feels like work. I tried playing it alone. I have played countless games since 1985 and this one is not worth your purchase unless you enjoy tedium and a basic cliche story. I regretted this purchase so much that I made an account here to place this review.
