Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Ultimate Sith Edition3
May 15, 2014
This new Star Wars game really was just swimming in mediocrity. The developers who made this were clearly pretty lazy not to include mouse support for the menu. The game's combat is OK, but it gets very repetitive as you go on. The frame rate usually suffers from drops to 20 fps or lower. The visuals are muddy, but endurable and textures are mediocre. The targeting is nearly impossible, and the story is very linear. How this game manages an okay score is beyond me. The only thing going for this, and how it salvages 3 points is because they had a good concept, and it shows at some points, but Star Wars: The Force Unleashed does no effort to escape its immense mediocrity.

This is the greatest Call of Duty so far. The Graphics are great, and the gameplay mechanics are flawless, who doesn't want to ride a horse into an Afghan battle! So many negative reviews? Come on! This is the best CoD yet!

Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures8
Jan 24, 2014
For younger kids, the minigames and friendly characters form the show/movie are a nice experience. Since this game is free to try, definitely try it. I loved this game so much I begged and begged for a lifetime membership. The new expansions to "Umbara" and other planets expands the game to be more like a TPS. Sadly, the graphics are pretty much like Star Wars the Old Republic (2003 i'm pretty sure). The online community is not very nice, and I have encountered a player "slave market" But, if all your kid, or you really want to do is play and not socialize, than go ahead and play!

War of the Roses4
Jan 24, 2014
This game is a multiplayer only, medieval third person action game set in 15th century England. For many of you, if you see this game on steam, this might look quite appealing. Unfortunately it is a huge waste of 10 GB and the graphics are fuzzy and not as I would have hoped. The actual playing is decent, but the frame rate goes at a dismal 10-40 FPS. It is really impossible to play unless you have patience. Anyway, save the 10 GB, don't get this game. Plus this game is infested with horrible bugs

Payday 29
Jan 19, 2014
In Overkill's sequel to "Payday the Heist" you take the role as one of four gangsters and go on merciless crime sprees around the city. Multiplayer was key here, because who doesn't want to rob a bank or ransack an entire shopping mall with up to four friends. Customizing your mask was a great addition, and there are lots more opportunities to take a separate route into the building you are about to rob. Yet, sometimes the game can be frustrating, because the police officers come by the battalion, and you need to shoot it a few times before you can kill it. That is, though, if you can't shoot the cop in the head. The graphics are a tiny little bit dull, but who cares? All you'll really be seeing is blood and green of dollar bills in the air. FPS lovers, Buy this game!!!

Fallout: New Vegas7
Jan 17, 2014
In the latest installment of the famed Fallout series, you take the persona as the "courier" who was shot and was brung to a doctor's home and healed. You then go on a mission to find the missing package and who shot you, changing the fate of the Nevada wasteland forever. As a Fallout game, we can expect comedic, yet deep storyline. The gameplay is addicting so enough to satisfy even the pickiest player. Yet, the game falls for some outdated graphics and confusing objectives. Plus, don't even think about the AI being well made. Overall, this game is worth playing-if you can get over the graphics and AI.

Just Cause 29
Jan 10, 2014
First of all, I loved the open world concept and how you can do (or blow up) anything you want. The missions are spectacular, and being able to have so many choices is outstanding. With this game you can pretty much raise hell on the island of Panau. Better than Just Cause by a landslide. Sadly, the controls are pretty hard to get the hang of and put a little drizzle on JC 2's parade. Overall recommend it if you crave a good, open-world action game, or just want to blow stuff up and have fun! 9/10 for sure.

Dragon Age II9
Jan 4, 2014
This game is an example of how great an RPG can get. The character creation is extensive and how you can integrate what you did in DA Origins makes me want all other RPG's to have that feature. The graphics are good and the world is well made and the quests are well made. Definitely my 2nd favorite RPG trailing only the mighty Skyrim. My only problem is the game might seem confusing until you play the game for a few hours and you get the hang of it. Definitely recommend it for all who love The Elder Scrolls or Mass Effect, or lovers of a well made RPG.

The single player makes you feel exactly like you are actually in the colonies. The mechanics in the gameplay were next to flawless and what was even better is the naval combat. The graphics were great and the A.I needed a tiny bit more work but still it was great. The only bad thing is the multiplayer was greatly uninspired and nobody likes the Desmond part. Overall, great game.

The Lord of the Rings: Conquest4
Dec 28, 2013
The Lord of the Rings: Conquest is a great example of why you definitely shouldn't get your hopes up for a game based off a movie/book. This game is a complete button-masher and the story should have been good because it is LOTR, but the characters had absolutely no emotion. The graphics were OK enough, but the game suffered from minor bugs and glitches and the levels in the story mode were sometimes frustrating and too short. The online multiplayer is imaginative and pretty fun. This game is for people who want a LOTR game and don't care too much about quality.

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars9
Dec 28, 2013
So far the best Star Wars game out there. The graphics are enhanced and the freedom to go out of the republic ship and blow up bad guys is great. We all love the new lightsaber techniques and being able to command troops on the battlefield as one of the clone captains. The vehicles are endless fun to play in and the level design is perfect. My only problem is when you beat the game all you really can do is replay the levels or fly the ships and try to earn more studs Overall, I highly recommend this game for anyone who loves Star Wars or Lego or even anybody who just wants to have fun! Definitely 9/10.

Battlefield 39
Dec 27, 2013
From flying jets into buildings to clearing out trains in Paris BF3 is the best battlefield game in the series by far. The graphics are stunning and the gameplay is smooth and flawless. The game is very well polished and doesn't miss one detail at all. This game is great to play with your friends in multiplayer or even co-op campaign. The campaign is action packed leaving you wanting more and more. Multiplayer has an endless supply of vehicles to rain hell on your enemies and the maps are huge. This is definitely the best shooter out there so definitely get it. Modern Warfare 3? NO play Battlefield 3 for the prime military shooting experience.

This is the same gameplay over and over and over. The graphics look like they were made in the 1980's and all you do is eat pellets in a maze avoiding ghosts.Really Namco? That's all you could do in all your laziness you made this complete piece of junk that seems like it ran on an Atari in the 1980's. I mean come ON! There is no multiplayer or no story. Just one tiny thing. This "game" is for people who decide to clear up some storage to put a game their three year olds just might appreciate.

Angry Birds1
Dec 27, 2013
Angry Birds, the undoubted most overrated game on the App Store. Annoying characters, repetitive gameplay and forcing you with in-app purchases if you can't beat a level introduces you to a whole new level of frustration. They really overdid this. All the plush toys, play sets, and even movie licensed sequels all ruin a game with some real potential. I give it one point for the golden egg levels which are the only decent part of the game. Don't buy this game or any of it's sequels, plush toys, or play sets, because seriously, this was overdid.

Terminator Salvation (2009)5
Dec 27, 2013
Terminator Salvation is another striking example to never get your hopes up for a game based off of a movie. The graphics are dull and the story is linear, with repetitive, slow gameplay and blurry cut scenes. There are no objective markers so half the time you don't know where you're going. On the other hand, co-op play is good if you are playing casually with friends. The first few levels are OK to play, but don't venture too far because it is just more of the same things. This game shouldn't have been priced at standard $60 or $50, rather only $19.99 or even an XBLA. Seriously, get this ONLY if you need a TPS and want to play co-op and don't care about the quality too much.

Ravensword: The Fallen King5
Dec 27, 2013
The game is decent enough for the iOS. The graphics seem like plastic action figures a toddler would play with. Even though it boasts an open world you are really on a set path either going one way or another. The story is bad, yet the game could **** you in for an hour without you getting bored. The side quest attempt was lazy, and the game really doesn't top even old Elder Scrolls Battlespire. Still this game is a bargain if you are looking for something to do for an hour or an hour and a half. Still, it is only barley worth a dollar.

Gears of War 32
Dec 27, 2013
Seriously, this ****. The graphics stink, the gameplay is old and the story seems like it was written by a person who has seriously no imagination. I can't express how much this game ****. The only thing good about it (why I gave it a 2/10) is that the multiplayer is quirky, but decent enough. If you get this game give it to the person you hate the most in this world. This is the worst TPS I have ever seen.

Batman: Arkham City9
Dec 27, 2013
Seriously, this game is a step up from asylum. Enhanced graphics, better AI and fighting techniques plus the freedom to roam this section of Gotham City that they allocated to prisoners. The story is very well written, and the best part is getting all new gadgets. Sadly, the game gets old and boring after a handful of missions and thugs to beat up when you roam around come in small quantities. Overall, this is so great it should set a precedent for all other superhero action-adventures.

NHL 145
Dec 27, 2013
Honestly, I am a huge NHL fan. From what I have played and seen, it is really just NHL 13 but with a roster update, better hitting, and third-person fighting. The NHL 94 anniversary mode is disappointing just like the real game. If you are looking to get it, don't, just stick with NHL 13 and wait another year or two.

Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation7
Dec 27, 2013
For iOS this is a great game. I love the graphics and the story is very deep. The campaign has adrenaline filled fun levels, but, the game sometimes dives into deep frustration and the game sometimes suffers from bugs. The multiplayer is like any other FPS multiplayer but with gamecenter it is great because you can play with your friends easily. Sadly, about the multiplayer, the server might bug out and not let you on 1 out of every 5 times. Overall the game is good, but bugs and a sometimes frustrating campaign keeps it from being it's best.

Halo: Reach8
Dec 27, 2013
First, the graphics are great. One of the best things about this game is the co-op and being able to customize your soldier in many ways by collecting credits and spending them. The bad things are you only have about twenty guns and the gameplay gets boring after a while. And the story and campaign is great but even though they try to make the covenant scary they really can't

Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchants4
Dec 26, 2013
Port Royal 3 tried to make an immersive world where you could either be a pirate and plunder for riches, or a merchant, using your skills to trade across the Caribbean and amass a fortune. It failed. Horrible graphics, no guidelines on even how to play and even if you manage to find a way to play you will be bored out of your mind. I have nothing left to say about this utter piece of junk.

Call of Duty: Ghosts8
Dec 26, 2013
Activision had a whole new opportunity to turn the Call of Duty series into a whole new direction. It didn't. In fact, COD Ghosts seems more drenched in the same tropes of the rest of the series. Yet, there are still improvements in the game, the graphics are decent, extinction mode is fun (not as fun as zombies) and the game has arguably the best campaign level where you climb the walls of a **** in Caracas, Venezuela. The campaign is great and prepare to be wowed when you reach the snow fortress. Still, the campaign lacks gameplay variety, sure, you get to pilot a helicopter briefly, but besides that and controlling the dog Riley for a little bit all the missions are familiar point the gun and pull the trigger shooting. The new Squads mode in multiplayer is okay and the multiplayer is the same as any CoD game but with new maps, guns, and kill streaks. (plus you can devastate one map with an explosion!) Ghosts can't quite match Battlefield 4's 24 player matches (64 on Xbox One), but still the nine game modes are terrific. Ghosts is by no means flawless, yet is very fun nonetheless.

Battlefield 49
Dec 26, 2013
This new installment of the Battlefield series opens it's campaign with you shooting the windshield of a sinking SUV and next shooting a helicopter down and much more thrills. Sadly, this level is the exception. The rest of the campaign goes into complete frustration and making you follow a [relatively] set path. This campaign seems still to be a step down from BF3's already drab campaign. Yet, the multiplayer is AWESOME. From knocking down buildings to calling in air strikes in commander mode makes this multiplayer the best. Hug maps and endless supplies of vehicles definitely surpasses that f BF3 or Call of Duty: Ghosts. If you can't pilot a helicopter quite well try the "test range" where you can try all the vehicles. Battlefield 4 has an amazing multiplayer and stunning opening campaign level, yet the rest of the campaign is severely drab. If you are looking for the complete package BF4 is not quite it, but worth it if you want a great FPS. See you on the Battlefield!

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag10
Dec 26, 2013
This is everything you want out of an Assassin's Creed game. The visuals are stunning plus the gameplay is flawless. From exploring the high Caribbean seas to hunting the many islands for treasure. The depth of the game is almost unmatched and the freedom of being able to just go on your ship and plunder anything that flies by is one of the things you will love the most about this game. Not to mention constantly taking down waves of Spanish soldiers one by one in Havana. Truly the best game in the series and one of the greatest of the year.
