WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED???? u had the perfect cast, 3 directors (Robert Rodriguez, frank miller & Quentin tarantino) all in one movie including the creator of sin city frank miller as the director for sin city 1. the original movie had so much attention to detail and brought the comic series to life, page for page that's including "the recut & theatrical, extended and unrated versions. all that is has also not been brought back. this movie felt lazily put together in hopes to make profit banking of the success of the previous movie that they used as a driving force for this movie in hopes for this movie to sell. the recastings: Devon Aoki as Miho was replaced and it never was explain as of why when Aoki was literally perfect as deadly little Miho, Jamie Chung felt weird and off it just doesn't hit the same even with the music from the first music using her theme for the recast. it just didn't sit right with me and it was changes that it didn't even need to be made, y'all did it for the sake of doing it. Clive Owen as Dwight was also perfect, from his Monologue, how he spoke, the tone of his voice his overall portrayal hit all of the right notes and make u invest in every scene that he's in. how u gonna replace him with Thanos (Josh Brolin) and think that nobody wasn't going to notice. LOL and it's messed up because Clive was already in a middle of another project and y'all could've delayed the movie bcuz he wanted to be in it, y'all just didn't wanted to wait for him. the sequel wasn't even in high demand bcuz everyone was just ok with only a stand alone movie. I can watch the first movie 20 times and it never gets old, every chronological order and recut order and it never gets old i always seem to find something new and interesting when i rewatch it. the first movie is literally a masterpiece to a comic book to feel like it was brought to life. but the problem lays with the director himself Robert Rodriguez bcuz he didn't understand the appeal and his core audience/fan base. he tried to pull a Vince McMahon but assuming he knew what the audience wants without understanding his audience. the crazy part is that Josh Brolin didn't even try to attempt to make it feel like it's the same character. I had to google to double check if he was even playing as the same character or a different character with the same name until u watch the scene when he runs into Rosario Dawson's Gail and tried to pass it off as we supposed to buy that this is the same dwight from the first movie, but it feels so forced and unnatural. Rosario Dawson and Josh Brolin has ZERO chemistry. so it's jarring it gets even worst when Brolin's Dwight gets shot in the eye by his ex Ava gets surgery then suddenly looks like how Dwight should've looked like since Brolin's introduction as Dwight. he went from have short to no hair to looking like Clive Owen's Dwight's hairstyle. like can u be more on the nose on why this recasting is terrible. the movie is getting a one star for me and it's luck to even get that and it's only bcuz they had the sense to bring back some of the original cast like Jamie Chung, Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba & Powers Boothe. and also, bcuz the continued Nancy's story arc from the original movie. other than that, this movie felt more like a bad spin off rather than a true sequel. if it wasn't for these than this movie would've gotten a ZERO from me.

this abomination trilogy killed the game ip. ironically, it's **** (pun intended) the life of this franchise until it died. it's not even bankable no more bcuz the movie studio kept churning out these fan films that literally had nothing to do with the games. it's so bad that rayne's voice actress Laura Bailey said at her panel at Anime Boston 2007 what's her thoughts were on the film adaptation?, and she said: "Oh God, that movie ****. And that movie was so bad. I saw it on The Movie Channel and I couldn't even get through 20 minutes of it! It was so bad and it was kinda sad that they took that because I really liked the games" this movie is soo bad that it's $25 million budget, was no way spent on this film the money was most likely pocketed, fan films on youtube with $100 budget looks better than a film that had a budget of 25 million dollar. they so creatively bankrupt that the second film takes place in a western LMFAOOO! whoever hired Guinevere Turner to write this trash movie should also be let go of there job and never work at hollywood ever again this movie suprisgly didn't end Michelle Rodriguez career bcuz this movie is not only a franchise killer but also a career killer. also everything that Kristanna Loken has appeared in area all terrible, she's the lead of this movie but always have a deer in the headlights whenever she's on screen like she never acted before it soo amateur and soo trash that this movie had to be done all in one take. this movie has even surpassed catwoman (2003) level bad. and it crowning acheviement is winning every worst award in 2007 Michelle Rodriguez nominated with: not one, not two, but three worst awards: Most Annoying Fake Accent (Female) award, Worst Supporting Actress from 2007's Stinkers Bad Movie Awards and won Worst Supporting Actress for a second time from February 24, 2007 - Golden Raspberry Awards what a crowning achievement i hope ur proud and hang it up inside **** case in ur million dollar mansion for everybody too see how many terrible movies u been in over the years. ur only relevance now is bcuz of those awful fast and furious movie sequels until that run out of gas and whenever universal stop milking from that franchise corpse. Hollywood never seems to learn that not everything can be a live action movie adaption that's based on a video game, bcuz tey're still to this day trying to turn every game ip into a movie (that literally nobody asked for) until we no longer have any type of original ip from all formats and platforms of entertainment. that's no longer fresh, new and original, so hollywood can ruined that ip by turning it into what they want it to be just to make money and milk as much from it as they can.

the introduction narration was weak but the opener scene 2:30-7:10 still is the best scene from any anti hero movie. that scene alone perfectly capture frank miller's elektra how mysterious and how she known as a myth that lurk in the shadows. J.Gard was soo perfect but was wasted in the rest of the movie. the whole movie should've been taken place at night. i loved her all red outfit and it even paid homage to ultimate elektra when she wore all white, the problem becomes when the writers zak penn, stuart zicherman & raven metzner for creating non existing comic book characters that's made only for this movie characters like Abby Miller, Mark Miller, Roshi, Kinkou, Meizumi in an incredibly flawed incoherent script and making Stone a villain, gender swapping Nina McCabe by making her into a male character only using the character last name McCabe and should've kept Ben Affleck as Matt Murdock/Daredevil scene. I only gave this a 7 score rating only bcuz of how good the opener scene is. the movie shot itself by trying to build a story around non existing characters instead of maintaining the supernatural mysterious and myth setting that it build up rather than trying to create artificial connections to the created characters that u don't care about. this movie should've had Radioactive Man as elektra's main villain since they're enemies in the comics. it could've played off of the idea of resurrection and greg rucka's 03 elektra comic: (Elektra is forced to confront her murderous past after being taken hostage by an adversary. Feeling desperate in her containment, Elektra must choose between continuing her homicidal professin or making an attempt to change her life.) that would've been a far more impactful story then what we've ended up with. ppl are right about this movie doesn't know what it what's to be it's all over the place. bcuz this movie should've been a spin off sequel to daredevil that shows what took place after the events from '03's daredevil. i do enjoy J.Gard's elektra but the bad, outweighs the good. too many shortcomings too many subplots and boring unoriginal created characters that the story surrounds itself with brings this movie down and latch itself onto this movie like a tumor. J.Gard tried to do the best that she had to work with and even she knew it was a bad movie and admitted during the world premiere of this movie. the writer and fox wasn't even confident of the very movie that it's spinning off from why bring back MSJ the director of '03 Daredevil to write this movie and isn't even confident in his own work and advertising it as "from the makers that brought u x-men franchise" instead of the director from daredevil it's no surprise that this movie turn out the way that it did i love J.Gard from '03 daredevil and she showed her potential at the start of this movie but was wasted in the rest of it. so overall it should've had a better main villain, the setting should've always taken place at night to keep the mystique, and mysteriousness of elektra, the writing after the opening scene was over was cringe and a chore, the created characters for this movie was a plot device and unappealing, and less that was told about elektra could've also be something that this movie could've benefited from and this movie should've had kept affleck's daredevil scene so it can feel like it's a in the same universe but this movie feels so disconnected, so to sum it up this movie was directionless filter that's so disjointed with Garner and her character being wasted. I hope she gets a second chance, and the blame shouldn't go on her she did the best that she could, however it doesn't matter how good of an actor and actress u are, u can't make a bad script and awful movie good, no matter how good u are. the blame Soley goes to: rob bowman, zak penn, stuart zicherman & raven metzner and 20th century fox.

the movie is soo bad that even Peter Chung (aeon flux creator) said that he hated it. first of all aeon flux is a bobbling idiot that kills herself every eposide but the movie tries to make her some intelligent, Athletic, strong indepent woman that's a super spy that's trying to slove mysteries and become a hero that save the day. all in which aeon flux has never been this movie tries so hard to turn her into something that the character never was. aeon flux the character is a mute, i watched all of the anime aeon flux episodes after seeing this movie and did research as well the girl that has hands for feet doesn't exist in the show and Trevor Goodchild is portrayed as some misunderstood guy that's trying to help mankind and rebuild a city at the end all in which the character isn't at all. Trevor Goodchild is a psychopath that's egoistical and always trying to find something to gain even if he had to build machines and devices in someone so he can used as one of his pet projects. in the anime he's a flat out villain not a savior, bcuz the character doesn't care about the glory or fame. if he doesn't benefit from it for his own gain goodchild could care les so it got that wrong about the character as well. it really had nothing to do with aeon flux besides the name.

Michelle Pfeiffer's character subplot contradicts the second ant man movie and infinity war. yes, kang is such a threat that he gets defeated by abunch of ants in a matter of seconds. nothing is taken seriously everything is a gag. speaking of unfunny jokes Disney marvel continues to butcher legacy heroes and villains by sidelining ant man once again in his own solo trilogy and now downplaying what he did in endgame all for a cheap joke and bringing in modok in only for laughs instead of being an actual threat. how tf marvel's avengers did modok justice in a below average video game over a multimillion dollar budget Disney marvel film? one of the few things marvel's avengers game by crystal dynamics did right is showing how meaning and a threat he is to the heroes he nearly killed hulk and ms. marvel that game is soo trash and such a cash grab but i have to give credit where it's due the campaign story modok was a threat from beginning to end he broke up the avengers got Bruce banner to sellout the avengers for aim and blame theme selves for captain America's death. but in this movie is just Corey Stoll's face badly photoshopped and stretched out on a obj model that's not even rendered with "I'm not a ****" jokes. what a trash fire! this is the black widow of ant man movies awful plot twist terrible subplots and not a movie to kick off a new phase. what make matters worst is that the writer of this movie Jeff Loveness is also going to be writing Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, expect NOTHING BUT FAILURE FOR YEARS TO COME! MCU STANS WILL TRASH FOX MARVEL MOVIES BUT U KNOW WHAT THEY DON'T DO AND GET RIGHT THERRE'S NOT JOKES AT EVERY SCENE AND THEY DON'T TAKE AWAY THE TENSION, THE THREAT OF SID VILLAIN AND THE STORY. THE CGI LOOKS WORST THEN MOVIES THAT CAME FROM THE 90'S HOW DO U SCREW IT UP THIS BADLY. EPIC FAIL. u got ultraviolet (2006) looking like a masterpiece right now. LOL all the terrible films looks better just by comparison. superheroes are not supposed to be a comedy sure some are self aware like Deadpool and she-hulk - (the comic book version, NOT MCU TRASH), that's why they work bcuz they use it for an advantage, BUT IT'S NOT FOR EVERY SUPERHEROES AND ANT MAN CHARACTER IS A SERIOUS CHARACTER WHAT AN AWFUL TRILOGY AND A DISSERVICE TO THE CHARATER ITSELF.

Ben Affleck Daredevil is my definitive daredevil and Jennifer Gardner Elektra is my definitive Elektra both embody the characters, with unique design choices for their characters outfits that i can see used for the comics especially Jen Gardner's Elektra. i read alot of Elektra comics and Jen really feel like she was rip right out of the comic pages with her portrayal of Elektra how she's conflicted and often complicated relationship with matt Murdock Jen even looks like Elektra's early iteration. the movie has a lot of early 2000's vibes with alot of songs that was popular at the time used as themes for the characters. however, that's where my complaint comes in Evanescence - Bring Me To Life for Elektra theme is cringe. it doesn't fit the movie nor the character then other songs like N.E.R.D. - Lapdance ft. Lee Harvey, Vita just doesn't fit the movie and the tone that they're going for. yes, the infamous playground scene is with elektra and daredevil is cringe. the bullseye scenes like his reveal scene in the bar, airport scene and airplane scene all was pointless and it should've been cut from the film even in the director's cut there's even a scene in where ben's matt murdock was telling J.gard's elektra when he was telling her "she doesn't have to worry about anything" only for it to cut showing bullseye stealing a bike then cuts back to them, the movie is so poorly edited at times. like their shots that would just cut randomly as a following scene throughout the movie that takes away from the scenes. the movie has way to many subplots and doesn't have the proper run time to flush all of it out. but besides from that, it's a cheesy comic book popcorn superhero, chick flick. Nothing to over the top campy Coolio (R.I.P) stole the show in the movie i love the elements of seeing through his vision seeing what he sees through his eyes when it rains and wherever theirs sound but also established his weakness in within specific sounds like church bells and trains. although (R.I.P.) Michael Clarke Duncan's kingpin is a hood version of comic book kingpin and race swap but he still manages to make it his own and is a highlight of this movie. its also a lowkey chick flick with the romance side plot that matt has with Elektra alot of the story takes inspiration from frank miller's Elektra debut when frank created her back in the day even has shot by shot scenes right out of the comics including bullseye's stab to Elektra. i love the soundtrack from Right Before Your Eyes Music by Hoobastank, For You by The Calling, Caught In the Rain by Revis & Won't Back Down by Fuel. makes this movie very memorable and easy to revisit to it has its charm but its not perfect but i still and will always love this movie.

i freaking love this movie Mary Elizabeth Winstead made me a fan of hers. i love the plot twist at the end when she realized that kate was working with the enemy the whole time and killing the girl family the movie jhad no hidden agenda just good old revenge action flick 24/7 and at the end Woody Harrelson was the actual antagonist. Miku Patricia Martineau add charm to thwe scenes its a very dark movie but every scene she was in she stole the show. if i had to compare it's like atomic blonde meets Anna (2019) damn i wish it had a post credit scene or something i really wanted kate to survive or something i just wanted more.

downgrade to the first movie and the downfall of tim story's f4 frachise this movie is the "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" to the f4 franchise very mediore story but the cast carried the movie but just like x-men origins wolverine this movie made stupid changes my guess it was another fox influence like making Galactus into a cloud the same way fox thought it was a good idea by sewing deadpool mouth shut. so this movie suffers from a med plot, recycled villains and dumb changes to the main baddy. Lawarence Fishburne did a great job as silver suffer maybe they should've got of rid of tim story and find another director like the thor movies did. i think if they would've done that it would've been alot been. it feels like the charm kinda fall apart when there just too much going on and no clear direction for the story. very disappointing its such ashamed that the cast suffer from a poorly written plot.

the casting is soo brilliant, great chemisty and jokes and comedic moments when its called for.Chris Evans, Hamish Linklater, Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Michael Chiklis embodied their respective roles of their characters it felt like they were ripped right out of the pages from the comics. great dynamic tim story really delivered on this movie. the styory is silly and dumb fun taking u in a journey and along for the ride. this movie is still better then the entirely of mcu with disney marvel force humor that doesn't land and jokes in serious moments that ruined the scenes. the pacing in this movie on why i love this movie so much theirs action, break for character development and bonding with the characters that these amazing actors and actress pull off on screen and then serious moments all wehen its called for. chris evans nails johnny storm perfectly he's so funny and immature but in a good way, they will forever be my definitive f4 . i just find it funny that the mcu trolls that hate on this movie. but hypocritically shill for the decisions disney marvel make. everything this movie has mcu has the difference is this movie executed perfectly and naturally while disney marvel mcu feels forced and unnecessary.

ironically this is the best dc movie and the most underrated modern classic to date its ironic best dc express no interest to the reimagining of Constantine that's still infinitely better than the failure of DCEU since its inception in 2013. u would think warner bros would be smart enough to green lit the sequel for a future crossover with this universe into their garbage dceu universe for a possible live action justice league dark movie. according to keanu reeves at Constantine: 15th Anniversary Reunion | Comic-Con@Home 2020 they discussed the ideas of the sequel and they never followed through and had no interest on continuing it. so for me keanu reeves is my favorite version of Constantine and he was the one who even introduced me to this character

slightly above the original i got alot of core design's tomb raider comic book run vibes with this movie. however: the end fight scene is lame, alot of missed opportunities and potential. again, with zero references and mentioned of any of the game series characters, better locations, plot device allies, lame villain, weak motivations, interesting concepts, unique enemy types, random underdeveloped characters with a slight backstory but give no reason to care about them, weak script, ok fight scenes and beautiful Angelina Jolie as Lara croft that perfectly fit the role and embodies the character, but the weak story give her not much to do and pandora's box serves as a mcguffin

20 years later, this movie is based on core design's original tomb raider iconic classic game series 1996 - 2003 this movie series loosely adapts from the games with zero returning characters, and unnecessary changes by removing zip and Alister fletcher by replacing them with brace and making winston smith - lara's butler young and dumb while in the games he's always been depicted as old and wised. the story is bland and super safe no real threat to the protagonist he's ur very average cookie cutter generic, basic villain, kinda funny that they cast this guy later for resident evil movies later but that's a whole another story for a different review. random ally characters that's made for this film version has no backstory and underdeveloped motivations and would just appear without not giving any type of reason to care at all on what's going on and about them. welp it was good enough for core design to stamp their approval by advertising this movie on Tomb Raider: Chronicles and then later on core's Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel Of Darkness game for this movie sequel :" TR: the cradle of life cons: there's no mentioned of Lara's mentor: warner von Croy no references or anything and its disappointing, it just feel like alot of lost potential, including lara's origin story from tomb raider: the last revelations alot of her allies are just plot devices to get the story moving forward and everything is conviant. none of that ever happens in the games the story is super safe and basic as u can get for a action adventure story with a weak script and plot armor. pros: young Angelina Jolie embodies lara croft in every way: she's strong, independent, confident, and etc. the atmosphere perfectly recaptures the dark tone that it had in the games, the intro of the movie with the robot was good and the soundtrack is awesome. the locations was decent and rememberable and its not like current movies that were getting these days with sjw woke agenda driven storylines so i grew more appreciation but still disappointed with the story's direction and characters

this movie introduce me to resident evil franchise. i was never into the games until i saw this movie. so with that out of the way. out of the entire franchise this is the best out of all of them it had great character moments from everybody that had survived in the story the red queen perfect villain ever. "your all gonna die down here" - the red queen most iconic rememberable line ever. what killed this franchise is the side character that switched to lead character is the actress milla jovovich that played alice/janus prospero and the somewhat lead director paul w.s. anderson but that's a whole another story. outside of that i love this film.

this is not a spider-man film, this is an iron-boy film. its extremely overrated the story is played super safe and they try to copy the spider man 2 train scene. peter/spider-man earns nothing everything is just given to him. he doesn't struggle with anything bcuz his spider tech suit does it for him. peter doesn't even act like a nerd his version is like 2017 animated spider-man forced unfunny jokes that follows mcu disney formula, they also race swaping and changing mary jane name to Michelle jones/mj its garbage Virtue signalling and they made aunt may super young. there's no uncle ben so its replaced with iron man. ppl hype this mcu version bcuz of his suit but everything that surrounds this version of spider-man as for as side characters is not comic book accurate, and NED Is annoying! and there is no miles morales. too many race swaping characters, too man unnecessary changes just so it can stand out from pervious versions of spidey (toby & andrew) its a trash spider-man movie its up there with amazing spider man 2 lol keaton's vulture has the most generic villian motivations ever the dumbest plot twist of all time. and he can't never keep his spider man secret identity a secret, he either tells everyone and makes it obvious that peter parker is spider-man even aunt may finds out. he's clumsy and so out of character.

90's Greatest live action - animated crossover filled with good ideas a well rounded story and a conclusion to the greatest nba player that ever lived and the GOAT Michael Jordan. no other movie will ever come close to this masterpiece, even the soundtrack is a timeless classic. this movie is my childhood.

forced comedy, scarlett johansson never once in the entire avengers and her introduction of the character in iron man has never once had a russian accent. the action is blend the cgi is terrible the story is meh and they genderswap taskmaster. what a disaster glad i was never invested on scarjo version of black widow.

the ending is terrible, the story is a mixture of a origins story on how the creatures invaded i felt the they kids was the most annoying parts of the movie just inviting trouble in there safe place and wandering off just dumb stuff it really took me out of the movie compared to the first movie.

the greatest comic book movie ever created, what a masterpiece! i love the the theatrical cut but i love extended cut even more bcuz it expand the story even more when it didn't even have to, such perfection. marv is my favorite character but honestly i love all of the characters. the cast is so perfect and fit so well. its nothing negative that i can say about this movie.
