Black Widow

Shortland has given us a fast-paced movie with action sequences, character depth, and very subtle social and political subtexts about the way women are seen, treated and exploited in the world.

Black Widow does become typically Avengers at the end, with an overwrought, too-long action scene that plays like a festival of stunt doubles tossing each other around a Russian lab. The real ending is better: a post-credit sequence brings back Pugh as Yelena in a tease that is not terribly surprising but is extremely welcome.

The messy third act, and its insistence on making Natasha infallible, doesn’t ruin the film. But it does make Black Widow a missed opportunity; Natasha never gets to make the choices that could help her complete her portrait.

What really defines the film is meeting the title character's other "family," whose members are equal parts colorfully eccentric and lethal.

Black Widow certainly suffers from MCU bloat—dutiful references to other installments in the franchise, an overly convoluted plot leading to a two-hour-plus runtime, an endlessly explosive action finale that takes place mostly in front of green screens—yet a strong cast and emphasis on character ultimately overcome much of those grievances.

Set right after the events of Captain America: Civil War, watching Black Widow kind of feels like watching that MCU movie you just never got around to seeing.

Black Widow is what happens when movies abandon human values for the emotional deadness and emptiness of the superhero movie.

Cinta con mucha inspiración, o casi plagio de la trilogía Bourne; no es una mala cinta, de por sí es disfrutable en sus elementos obligatorios de entretenimiento, cumple con muy buenas secuencias de acción, ritmo rápido y muy buen presupuesto; pero nuevamente cae en la fórmula Marvell. No se arriesga pero tampoco gana. Toma ideas de famosas sagas de espías pero no aporta un sello propio, que debería haber sido el distintivo. Se esfuerza en ser agradable en la fotografía y los efectos son bastantes decentes; Johanson entrega una actuación creíble pero nada más. Se perdió lo más importante, haberle dado una profundidad a la Viuda negra, pero se queda muy corta, te trata como un preadolescente que está aprendiendo elementos básicos de política y necesita tener una perspectiva política para ser orientada hacia propaganda pro USA. No hay más trasfondo. Es bastante grave que vanaglorian los golpes de estado que han sido desastrosos para los países de todo el continente americano y las décadas de atraso y centenas de desaparecidos y muertes que han llevado consigo. Nos lo muestran como superheroínas mal interpretadas y manipuladas; creo que acá los manipulados son los espectadores; dejando el punto de vista político, y juzgandolo por lo que es, si, se queda corta, y no me entiendan mal, no es un mal producto, creo que es más bien un subproducto de la repetición de la fórmula Marvel. Le faltó carisma, le faltó pasado, y por eso esta cinta no sabe su presente y mucho menos su futuro. Deben arriesgarse un poco al menos de vez en cuando.

Tam bir vakit kaybıydı benim için. Hep derin Endgame sonrası iyice saldılar.

Florence Pugh was the best part but this was awful. Boring characters, bad script and terrible villains make this one of the worst MCU films.
