Super Mario RPG9
Apr 9, 2026
For being the first RPG in Mario history, it is really an amazing game. It has everything it should have been: the characters, the story, the music, the gameplay. It's a joy to play this game, especially on the Switch, were it was given an incredibly good-looking remake. My only complaint is that it's a bit too short, and you'll finish the main story pretty quickly, especially for an RPG. Other than though, this game is fantastic, and I recommend picking it up.

Super Mario Party6
Mar 4, 2026
Mario Party has always been a beloved series to me, and seeing this game in 2018 got me really excited, even though it was nothing but disappointing. Let's break it down. The best part by far are the minigames. They almost always ues the Joy Con's new features kinda like MP8 did on the Wii. Other than that though, this game is quite bad. The economy is pretty much revolved around buying Golden Pipes and the stars being cheaper than ever doesn't help that. The side modes are really generic and with very little replayabilty. I wanted to give it an even lower rating because it is just that bad, but at the end of the day it's still Mario Party. You will have fun playing this game with your friends, even considering all the complaints I said earlier. Overall, especially because there are 2 way better entries in the series on the Switch, I wouldn't recommend buying this game.

Mario Strikers: Battle League5
Feb 28, 2026
I wanna start saying that I'm not a huge sports fan. I'm not into football at all. In fact, if this wasn't a Mario game, I probably wouldn't have bought it. However, since I love Mario and I have almost every Mario game on the Switch other than Mario 35 and Golf Super Rush, I decided to pick it up. And I can tell you that it was not worth the price. First things first, it looks really good, and I love the artstyle they used here. However, other than the online and the tournaments, there is nothing here to keep you entertained. The customizable gears are a cool addition, sure, but the max amount of time I could spend without getting bored was 20 hours. After I won every cup and unlocked every gear, I had no reason to pick up this game whatsoever. In fact, I haven't booted it up since I got it. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this game to any Mario fan or sports fan

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury9
Feb 28, 2026
Evne 13 years from its original release, this game holds up incredibly well. Super Mario 3D World is the best 3D Mario game that you can play with friends. And if you want to have fun by yourself, Bowser's Fury's got you covered. Speaking of which, I almost think that it's better than the base game, even though it's much shorter and easier to 100%. I really hope they lean more into this side of 3D Mario in the future. As of now, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is a joy to play

Mario Kart World9
Dec 15, 2025
From what I saw before playing this gameI honestly had thought that it was gonna be the best Mario game ever. And while it's not even close to that, Mario Kart World is still an amazing game. I know what I'm gonna say is incredibly controversial, but this game's track selection is better than Wii's. Yeah, you heard me. Acorn Heights, Airship Fortress, Bowser's Castle, Great ? Block Ruins, Shy Guy Bazaar, Rainbow Road, Sky High Sundae and Dry Bones Burnout (best course btw) are all awesome tracks. Ther are a few duts in here (I'm looking at you, Desert Hills), but they're not as bad some people might say. The character roster is better than 8 Deluxe's, the karts are all great, the items are decent and the music is insane. But my favourite part of the game by far is its mechanics. MK8 feels a lot more stiff and rigid compared to World. The new modes are really fun, and while I wish that the Free Roam mode had something more rewarding to do, Knockout Tour is really fun. Well, now let's talk about the bad stuff. One of the main criticizisms is that you can't slect to play only 3-lap tracks online Personally, it doesn't bother me because I like the intermissions just as the regular courses. However it's still a bad decision: imagine if Mario Kart Wii only allowed you to play with bikes online. That would be ridiculos. Overall, Mario Kart World is a top 3 game to buy on the Switch 2 as of now and I hope it gets more updates to become better and better

Super Mario Bros.7
Nov 25, 2025
I wanna start by saying that this review is base on the NES version of the game, because I never played the GBA version and also I think it's more iconic. First things first, this is definetely revolutionary in the history of videogames and it's not hard to see why. Back then, videogames looked like a passing fad, something that would just be a momentary form of entertainment and that in a couple of years it would've been totally gone. And they couldn't have been more wrong than that. However, a lot of times people say that because the game is revolutionary it's a masterpiece, and I don't necessarly agree with that. The controls are a little slippery and it takes time to master the jumping in this game. The levels are good, and the music isjust iconic. Overall, Super Mario Bros. is a revolutionary game for its time and it is still a good time

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild10
Nov 24, 2025
On day one this was the main game of the Nintendo Switch, and it's not hard to see why. This is probably the most intense, brilliant, fun and replayable 50-hour experience on this console. First things first, the visuals look great and the story is fenomenal, even for the series' standard. The open world is brillaintly designed and the missions in the shrines ar sublime to play. And I get it, this isn't a game for everyone. If you lack patience or combat skills in general, I wouldn't recommend this game. However if you fit both of those criteria, I honestly think you mhould play this game no matter what. It is genuinely that good of an experience and it's no surprise that it won Game of The Year in 2017

Pokemon: Let's Go, Eevee!8
Oct 18, 2025
This is the remake of some of the oldest and greatest Pokemon games ever. This game isn't really innovative or groundbreaking, but it's pretty fun. In terms of performance this is by far the best Pokemon game on the Switch. The capture system is the only new thing added in this game and it's not even that good. Overall, this game is a good remake and a good entry in the series.

Super Mario Maker 29
Oct 18, 2025
The sequel to Super Mario Maker for the Wii U is a really good game that you can buy on the Switch. The campaign is really good: you have to play as builder Mario whose castle has been destroyed buy a dog. So he needs to collect money around different levels and the rebuild the castle. However, Super Mario Maker 2's main attraction is the online, where you can post and play all the levels you want. You can also create a world in which you can put your levels together. That's crazy! The themes are great, with those being Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, New Super Mario Bros. U and for the first time ever Super Mario 3D World. Overall, this is a great level-creator game and it sure is worth buying

Oct 18, 2025
Minecraft is the best-selling video game in history and it's not hard to see why. This game is simple but incredibly fun and replayable. So it would be pretty weird if it didn't get a version on every platform, but this review is for the Nintendo Switch version. The main game is of course the same masterpiece as the other versions, but unlike those editions, there is a whole new campaign to explore. In fact, Mojang made a Super Mario themed world. First of all, I love Mario. Second of all, it's an incredibly fun experience full of little easter eggs to the Mario games. The Nether portal that is a SMW level, the mobs with enemies' skins, the little statues of Mario chracters, the objects you can pick up. I mean, this is a Mario fan's paradise. In my opinion this is the best version of Minecraft you can buy.

Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 210
Oct 18, 2025
Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 is an insane port from two of the best games on the Wii. First of all, in this collection they get resolution updates and a new storybook page. It isn't much at all considering what they could've done, but it's still cool to see these amazing games on the Switch. Galaxy 1 is an incredibly charming and cozy game that made history with a brillant idea. The story is fenomenal and the music feels unreal. However its sequel Galaxy 2 is a better game in my opinion. It isn't as charming and breathtaking as the first one, but the gameplay is incredible. The power-ups in Galaxy 1 aren't great because a lot of them just make Mario slower and not really fun to control. However, the power ups in SMG2 are amazing. The cloud flower, the drill, the rock mushroom and (yeah I'm counting him as a power-up) Yoshi. I love the fact that since Super Mario World Nintendo really made him a part of the franchise since he is so cute. I don't care if it's priced at 70$, the fact that it comes with two of the greatest platformers of all times says it all. Even it was priced at 100$ it would've still sold a ton of copies and Nintendo knows that.

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle5
Oct 18, 2025
This game is probably the weirdest Mario game on the Switch. I mean, I think that no one expected this crossover in their first year of the console. Anyways the game is just fine. Visually, it's kinda mid even for Switch standards. The gameplay is fun the first couple of times you play but it's just too ripetitive after sometime. My biggest complain with the game is the story. In these reviews I don't really talk a lot abput the story since it's a Mario game and their story are almost all bad, even in the newer titles like Odyssey. However this is the ecception for that because it's an RPG. These kinds of games gotta have a good story and this game just doesn't have that. I'll tell you moreless what happens in the beginning of the game. We see this weird guy in what appears to be his bedroom and then suddenly all the Rabbids fall onto the Mushroom Kingdom and start destroying everything. That's it.

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit7
Oct 18, 2025
Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is an incredibly weird game in the series. Let's start with the bad stuff. The game is too expensive. I mean, 100$ for a Mario game is too much. Secondly, the Wi-Fi connection of my house is great, but somehow it still says that the connection is poor. However this game's concept is insanely cool. The fact that you can create a course in your house is dope and you can really get creative with it. Overall, I don't think this is worth buying, even though I praised for its creativity earlier. Beacuse if you wanna play Mario Kart with someone you both gotta have this game and a Switch, so you just end up playing 8 Deluxe

Mario Kart Tour3
Oct 18, 2025
A lot of people really enjoy this game and say that is a mainline Mario Kart. I'm not one of those people. This game is straight out not fun. The controls aren't responsive most of the times, the graphics obviously are worse compare to other Mario Karts, and the microtransactions really show how Nintendo is money-hungry sometimes. Yeah, the game is free to play, but sometimes in order to progress you just have to spend real money, which is just dumb. My biggest critc with this game is that you can't choose which tracks you want to play, because thanks to the "Tour system" you can only play the tracks Nintendo wanted you to play that week. This is honestly one of the worst Mario Karts ever, so I just can't recommend installing this game.

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe6
Oct 17, 2025
Something that not many people know is that New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is the 10th best-selling game on the Nintendo Switch, which is pretty weird since there are way more deserving games of the same genre like Super Mario Bros. Wonder or Rayman Legends. Anyways, this game is just kinda whatever. The Super Acorn is nice and I like the Baby Yoshis, but this is by far the most forgettable Mario game you can buy on this console. In my opinion, it doesn't offer as much as it should. The levels are creative and the platforming is fun. I'm of course not mentioning the story since it **** just like every game in its series. Overall, I don't think this is worth buying now, since there are way better 2D platformers as I sayed earlier. It's like buying Super Mario Party, when it is worse than 2 other games being Mario Party Superstars and Super Mario Party Jamboree. The game is fine, but buying it now is just a waste of 60$

Luigi's Mansion 310
Oct 17, 2025
As my nickname suggests, I am a big fan of Luigi. He's goofy, funny and has overall more personality than Mario. So as the first Luigi game I've ever played my expectations were high. And Nintendo didn't disappoint. First things first, this is one of the best looking games on the Switch. The animations and cutscenes feel like they come straight out of a Disney movie. The gameplay is also flawless, with the combat system being intuitive and fun, and the overall movement really fits Luigi's personality. The floors really feel different and unique from each other, and the collectibles are cleverly hidden throughout the hotel. The characters are awesome, I like the new ones like the hot-el (pun intended) manager. Speaking of which, the story is also really good for being a Mario game. And I haven't even mentioned the online, which is one of the best ones Nintendo has ever put out! I mean, it runs perfectly smooth unlike some other Switch titles (I'm looking at you, Smash Ultimate) and is just incredibly replayable and fun, especially with other friends. After playing it for well over 80 hours I can tell you that Luigi's Mansion 3 is one of the best experiences you can buy on the Switch.

Paper Mario: The Origami King8
Oct 17, 2025
Paper Mario: The Origami King is the 6th entry in the series and although it's far from being the best, it isn't bad at all. Visually, it looks pretty good for a 2020 game and I especially like the origami artstyle for some of the characters and the world. The story is great, even creepy at some points, which is not how I would describe most of other Mario game's stories, lemme tell ya. A lotof people hate the battle system, but I genuinely don't see why. It mixes different factors: puzzles, timing, strategy. The pacing isn't the greatest though. In the middle of the game you just have no incentive to keep playing and you're just wondering: "Did I just waste 60$?". Overall, it isn't a terrible game or a great game, it's just good, and because of that I give it an 8/10.

Ring Fit Adventure7
Oct 17, 2025
I don't play this game since 2020, which is weird since I did enjoy it. The story is good, the levels are really well designed and graphically it's fine, I don't mind it. The battle system is pretty fun and sometimes very challenging, especially in the Boss fights. However, the fact that I never wanted to play it again says a lot. I remember enjoying this game for about 2/3 months. But, the more you play it, the more you realize that it's just way too long, and when you get bored around the 15th world you just hope it's gonna end soon. Other than that, I don't recommend buying this game, because if you wanna get in shape go to gym, and if you wanna have fun buy Mario Odyssey or Breath of the Wild.

Mario & Luigi: Brothership8
Oct 16, 2025
Nintendo really likes bringing back old things just for nostalgia. However, I've never played a Mario&Luigi game before this one so I'm not gonna be driven by emotions. First things first, it looks really nice, I like the new artstyle, it's refreshing. The combat system is really fun and I find myself going towards enemies just to play battles. The story is great, I like the plot twist at the end and it's overall a pretty good story for a Mario game. I wanted togive Mario & Luigi: Brothership a 9, but I think that towards the end of the game the pacing starts to slow down and you get bored of esploring and just playing. All in all, I think it's one of the best Mario RPG experiences you can buy on the Switch thanks to its presentation, story and beatiful mechanics

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe10
Oct 16, 2025
Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U was already an insanely polish entry in the series that built upon what its predecessors already. It featured 48 tracks (if you count DLC), which is a really big number. However it had a couple of flaws. The character roster wasn't great, the battle mode **** and it released on the Wii U, one of Nintendo's worst-selling consoles, so, by default, Mario Kart 8 was a flop. But seeing the potential in it, they didn't give up and decided that it was time to give MK8 a second chance but this time on a waaaaay more succesful console and boom... they created the 4th best-selling video game of all time: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Let's talk about it. First of all, it looks and plays great. The anti-gravity mechanic is a somewhat lackluster gimmick, but it made the track's designers free to build what they truly wanted. The character roster has been mostly fixed, except for the **** that is Pink Gold Peach. The items are really good and now you can hold 2 of them at a time. The track selection is solid, although I don't think it's as good as 7's or Wii's. But that simply doesn't matter when you see that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has 96 tracks. The Battle Mode is the best it's ever been because they made 8 battle tracks and 5 awesome modes.I mean, how can a sane person not love this game. It has a couple of flaws here and there but it one of the best game Nintendo has ever put out

Mario Kart 79
Oct 16, 2025
Mario Kart 7 is the 7th game in the franchise (if you can believe that) and it surely is a solid entry. It introduced the gliding mechanic, underwater racing and kart costumization. All of them might feel weird at first, but the more you play the more you get used to it. The character roster is truly bizarre. I mean, Honeyqueen and Wiggler made it in but characters like Waluigi and Diddy Kong got cut. I like the item selection and in my opinion getting rid of the new items from Wii was a smart move, since they're not necessary at all. The track selection is the best out of all the Mario Karts. Wuhu Loop, Music Park, Rainbow Road, Neo Bowser City, or even some retro tracks like Coconut Mall, Waluigi Pinball and Airship Fortress. I mean, these are all bangers! Overall, I think this is a very underrated game since it has all the benefits of modern Mario Kart and doesn't have all the crap in the older ones

Mario Kart Wii9
Oct 16, 2025
Mario Kart Wii is the 6th installment of the series and it introduced a lot of New features that have become staples since. The most obvious of them is the introduction of the bikes that really made Mario Kart Wii feel distinct and unique. The other additions are motion controls and 12-player races. I really like both of these features since they're just more fun. The track selection is one of the best it's ever been and the character roster is ultra cool. However, the selection of items in this game is really subpar, especially if we're talkingabout the new ones. The thunder cloud, the POW block and the Mega mushroom are all mid/bad items that I am glad never came back (except for the Mega Mushroom in Mario Kart World). Other than that, this is a really solidentry in the series

Mario Kart DS8
Oct 16, 2025
Mario Kart DS is a good game. I wish I could've said that it's a great game, but it isn't. The tracks are decent and there are even retro tracks for the first time. However, I think that the retro selection of courses is way worse than the original game's. A lot of them are from the 2D Mario Karts, and that says it all. The character roster is great, the karts really feel unique, the items are some of the best in the franchise and the fact that you can play it with DS Download Play is such a cool feature. However, my biggest gripe with this game is that it doesn't have a main gimmick. Think about it, Mario Kart DS introduces 2 main features: online play and retro tracks, and while I love both of those features, none of them impact gameplay. Because of that, sometimes playing this game feels like Mario Kart 64 with better graphics and controls on a handheld. That might be a little harsh, but I think it's important to praise this game's pros as well as criticizing it for its cons.

Mario Kart: Super Circuit5
Oct 16, 2025
How in the world is Mario Kart: Super Circuit the highest rated game in the series? Yeah, that's a great question. Anyways, this game is really just Super Mario Kart on the GBA, but I'll get to that later. First of all, the tracks and graphics are both a vast improvement over the last 2 entries in my opinion. Because of that, I wanted to give it a 6/10 or even a 7/10. But in the end, I gave it a 5/10, simply because it isn't original at all. I mean, it has the same character roster, same items, same style of SMK and even brings back all the tracks from that game.

Mario Kart 646
Oct 16, 2025
This might be controversial, but Mario Kart 64 isn't a great game as a lot of people think in my opinion. Let's start with the good: this is a very important entry in the franchise, as it went from 2D to 3D and it introduced 4-player multiplayer. Also, I love the items in this game: the blue shell, the golden mushroom, the boo and all the triple counterparts have all become staples of the serie. But that's where my praise for this game ends. I'm gonna be honest, the quality of the tracks is really subpar. I mean, look at Wario Stadium, Mario Raceway, Luigi Raceway, or even some tracks that got remade multiple times like Choco Mountain. The controls are really disgusting, and beacuse of that MK64 probably is the worst game in history of Mario Kart when talking about controls (yeah, even worse than Super's).

I bought this game in 2018 and thought it wasn't that crazy. I mean, besides the story mode, you can't really enjoy this game without someone else. So after playing the adventure mode I never touched or thought of this game again. But recently I played it with my brother, and I gotta admit that it's pretty fun. The mechanics are great, the graphics aren't bad, the character roster is insanely cool, so overall I don't think it's a must-buy for the Nintendo Switch, but it still is a good game
