I'm usually not too big a fan of rogue-lites but this game really nails everything I like about them. There's actual progression, the art is beautiful, there's reason to play the different characters throughout the entire game. They weave the story wonderfully through the game. Just be aware that this won't be super long. I'll easily be getting 20-30 hours, some may get less some more. Don't expect 100's. Really hope they expand on this game with an expansion or sequel!

This game is really a seriously under-appreciated game that you can play again and again! In a age where roguelikes and roguelites pop up fairly regularly this one was clearly a labor of love by the devs!

Don't know why the reviews for this are so low, Steam Score is 73% as of 5/3/18. Fun coop game you can play online or local coop. Takes place in a 80's cyberpunk setting, with 3 game modes - Story/Campaign Mode, Challenge/Daily where you fight to complete 8 levels, and Free Hunt Mode where you hunt bounties in any order. Four playable characters that give you a variety of ways to play. Worth the low price if you enjoy coop games.

WARNING: This is a PB game and plays/combat style just like previous Gothic games. If you do not like it you will not like this! It is brutal and you must have patience or it will ruin the game for you. Now, I have been a fan of the Gothic series since the first, the length and creativity put into Elex is outstanding. Huge world with such a diverse amount of areas in the game world. This is a game I will most likely play through twice to get to see how one of the other factions plays out and that is something I RARELY do. The textures could be a little better but nothing to complain about, they know their audience and with the open world extreme textures would melt their PC. Don't get me wrong I still think it looks good but for 2017 it could be better. I haven't gotten far into the story but am loving it so far. Will most likely play Berserker first then Cleric to dabble in their energy weapons :D

Too many fanboys giving this game a 0 or 1 which is really doesn't deserve even if you had high expectations. People with too high expectations from the previous series and complaints about bugs that will be ironed out. The game is solid, combat is fun, characters aren't as great as previous series but too many people are comparing the 2 separate series's characters which are entirely different. This is a new series in Mass Effect, time to look at it with new eyes. After patching and putting 50+ hours into it I'm still not done or bored.

Very interesting game, one I'd not think I'd like. It is very repetitive at times but it is more about the story and immersion in the world than anything else. If you want combos, gear and lots of combat this game is NOT for you. The game looks glorious, well written, and has an interesting way to get you through the game. I have not finished it yet but plugged a few hours into it and it's a piece of art. I'd give it a 7.5 but the immersion and lore forced to up it instead of lower.

This is a fun hack-n-slash with rpg elements to it. Got a lot of flack at release for bugs but majority of them were ironed out within the first couple weeks if release. The game isn't the longest but it is fun to build up your village and has a unique way of leveling up. Great with a controller and can be difficult but not impossible (I only played at regular difficulty). Give this game chance and play it yourself, best to grab it during a sale as I don't really think the quantity of content is worth the release price. Other than that a great time playing the game and posted this to pull up the score on a game that was well worked on and continues to get support from the devs. People complained about it not having native support for 4k at launch and give it negatives or zeros, what is wrong with people these days? I'd honestly give it a 8.5/10, higher if they add more content.

Not the game we were promised. No 'battlefields', just 1v1, 2v2, and 4v4 with bots. This game is a joke. It's really too bad because the gameplay is actually good. Honestly I give the game a 6 but gave it a zero to counter fan-boys splooging on the title. Don't spend your money on this. Get Ubi to wake the f*ck up!

F*cking amazing. Love TW and love WH universe. Did not think this game would come out so good. Lots of hate for them and their DLC policy which I agree is pretty wack but the game itself is so much fun. Grabbed it off Humble monthly for only 12$. There is so much variety in the races and styles of play this will definitely be on of the longest times I've spent playing a TW game. May even take the top spot of Shogun 2. Just get it on sale, same with DLC and you will have NO regrets.

As has been said a lot of this should have just been included in the game and not added on as a 15$ DLC. The fact that they made the new lend-lease feature only available through the DLC is rather bothersome. DLC is for new content, events, units, ect. (imo anyway) New National Focus trees you can easily get through the workshop for free. Maybe on-sale at 5$ it'll be worth it. Otherwise avoid for now. The patch itself (free) brings improved AI and several other additions that were needed. Honestly all of this should of just been in the patch or been in the game since day 1.

This game may look a little intimidating with its app controller and wifi connection but let me tell you it is nothing but a breeze! This is a rpg/turn-based game that ANYONE can enjoy. For 1-4 players and all you need to do is download the relatively small app for Apple or Android devices, phone or tablet. This game is GREAT fun with friends as everyone gets their own messages on their device and can each pick how to reply (share your knowledge with the group or keep it to yourself?). I really hope more people pick this game up for such a low price. You can craft, upgrade your character skills and attributes. Graphics are on par with current gen. Each episode is only 7$ and you can purchase all 3 for 15$. Support this game, support these devs for one hell **** breaking co-op game!

Space Hulk Ascension8
Nov 13, 2016
A rough start but this sequel to the first Space Hulk makes improvements in leaps and bounds. No more RNG! If you enjoy turn based strategy that is difficult yet rewarding this is the game you should get. The atmosphere of the game really puts you into the game (if you've ever read any of the series), the sound is great, you really feel a loss when a squad member gets taken down and want vengeance! I have a couple bugs with buttons not appearing and bodies not 'dieing' but nothing game breaking that can't be fixed in coming patches. The DLCs available for the game add almost a games worth of missions and each includes a new faction to play with. Noted: you can play each faction across each campaign. This gives the game great replay ability. Gear and skill upgrades (if your Space Marine lives long enough) that are great! So get out there and carry for the Emperor's will!

Master of Orion: Conquer the Stars8
Nov 13, 2016
This game was a little rough when it was released but it has continuosly gotten a stream of updates and patches that will continue to make this game what it deserves to be. Most of the hate comes from old MoO players saying the game got 'dumbed' down but for me a lot of tediousness got taken out and replaced by steamline gameplay. This could easily be a 9 in 6-12 months when things really get a good balance and some more depth but you can count on it with these devs. Hopefully I'll remember and come change my rating to a 9 when that happens.

Nov 13, 2016
7.5/10 This one was really tough for me. On one hand it looks glorious, I didn't run into any bugs during my fist couple playthroughs (gamespeed fast ~12 hours total), it looks AMAZING. Game/World generation is one of the best I've seen. City and district building actually makes sense the way they have it layed out. On the other hand a couple things have been completely taken out. Diplomatic system is a complete joke and the AI in its current state is HORRENDOUS. Give this game a year for patching and some good DLC and it'll be worth it all the way. AI patching will automatically bump this up to an 8-8.5

Battlefield 19
Nov 13, 2016
8.5/10 Pros - This is a great return to how the old battlefields made me feel during gameplay; edge of the seat, heart racing, squading up with a couple friends to support and take an objective. The return of destructible environments (mostly). HUGE maps (if you choose conquest) to play on, this was always a big seller for me in the old days, new maps and environments reflect the settings. Vehicles also are great fun. Cons - VERY limited weapons. This is one of my biggest gripes with the game alone (hopefully fixed in the future) with how EA does their Expansion Passes now, deliver ****, then part out the rest over the next 6-12 months $$$. Balance, just check youtube (OP snipers and a certain shotgun with ridiculous 1 shot-range) this can easily be fixed in a patch or two thankfully we've already seen a couple of. That would change my 8.5 to a real 9.

Most of the negative reviews for this game come from fanboys of the old games. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with them but this is a entirely different game and shouldnt be slammed just because it is different than other D&D titles. I for one loved the story, player development, and while the graphics aren't great the are definitely on the higher end for this genre in general. There campaign is decent, I usually don't pay attention to the story but I did for this. Along with the free expansion that comes with it. There are also a handful of good mods made by the player community you can access and play together with friends. I also likes solo campaign where I got to develop AND use all the characters classes instead of having to play through multiple times. Sadly the dev company went under about a year ago but the remaining bugs are pretty minimal, none that I've found are gamebreaking anyway. For the price you can now get it at it's worth picking up for sure if you are an group rpg fan!

I love strategy games and HoI is a series I've tried over and over to get into but always found very difficult to get the full grasp of managing. HoI IV broke that tradition while still keeping the depth the series is known for while making it much easier to approach for old and new players alike. Paradox definitely did it right this time. I can't wait to see what the modding community will do with this as well as future dlc/expansions from the Devs. If you like strategy/grand strat then do yourself a favor and get this game. $40 at RELEASE for a game worth much more. I look forward to hours and hour in this game.

Nov 23, 2012
great game, great team behind the game. they actually listen to the fans on the forum and USE there suggestions. in the first couple weeks several big changes were made to the game after feedback was left and discussed along with several free additions to the game. its obnoxious how many people are hating because this isn't dwarf fortress, just because it has dwarves in the game and it has management mechanics DOES NOT mean it is DF. that is where the similarities end. this is a build game with some combat. if you like to build this is the game for you. if you are looking for something with heavy strategy and combat look elsewhere.

I don't understand how this game got so many high ratings, a very overrated game. Game play is extremely shallow, its basically just a shooting gallery over and over. Zombie ai is pathetic and levels are very boring. I only spent 5$ on it during steam sale and I almost feel ripped off. If you just want to play with a friend and blast through waves of zombies and THAT IS IT, then hey this game may be for you, otherwise keep clear.

nice improvement on the series, keyboard+mouse is a little iffy but i don't know why you are playing a flight game if you don't at least have an xbox controller. missions are varied, all your pilots now gain experience from combat and missions and get bonuses/buffs when they achieve certain things. graphics look good, nothing amazing but the planes are detailed and that's what you'll be staring at majority of your time. definitely worth picking up if you are a fan of the genre or just want to try a good combat flight game out.

loved the first, with coop included in the second i couldnt wait, i love setting up everything myself but definitely wanted to experience the game with a friend or two. more of everything you loved in the first, tons more traps, quite a few more weapons, plus if you owned the original they gave you 10 of those maps for coop play in the second. the only real drawback i feel is that now that it has coop it feel too much like it forces you to play coop due to the increased difficulty much past the first couple levels. i REALLY hope the devs address this, if they do really would be 10/10 in my book also they got rid of controller support which kind of **** : hope they bring that back

Would be great if they added some more of the xbox dlc to the pc version, heres to hoping. Avoid Sparhawk42 lame review of 2 simply because you needed a live account and you couldnt bring your res. up anymore? Its a port not originally made for PC take the good with the bad.
