Comparing to the first Creed this one lost strong in one aspect, wich is the direction, we won't find in her those incredible camera moviment, long takes and really smart positioning that we had with Ryan Coogler before, in here it is ok, there aren't many different or creative shots as we had in the first one, but this is by leveling from up there, because, again, is not bad at all, is just not very unique. The cinematography does have some nice points, but really few and fine, but again, there isn't comparison to the first one. In the first film, and in other Rocky films, sometimes we had an opponent where he doesn't have much substence, it is just a strong and hard to beat dude, wich maybe what it is in Rocky 4 for example, and i found it very important to not be like that, when they made you care, almost equally to both sides, then this is a story that it is great, and, fortunately, this is what happens in here. The way that they built the whole Victor Drago sequences is really good, he isn't just a evil guy that wants his name on the top, it is way beyond that, his back story with his mother and father are strong and you can see that he is doing that for bigger reasons, to make his dad proud and for take back their lifes how they were before Ivan lost the fight for Rocky, and you can see that a lot of times, how Victor react to certain things in some moments are really touching, you wish him better and you unserstand him. Considering this, it gives a nice resume of how this movie reaches in our personal life, this movie is a lot about fatherhood. We have the Drago relationship, the kid trying to "fix" old things and making his dad proud. Adonis with his daughter, that gave him a lot of extra, gave him inspiration to go on and be better with his hardwork. And Stallone with his son, that he wants to speak with him, but it is afraid of getting into ans messing something up, so as with his father, that he still wants to make him proud and make the name giant, it is very well made. This is strong, father and son relationship is a strong thing, able to make you do things that you wouldn't believe, with the body and even more with the mind, and i think that the film represents this really well. There are two training sequences herre, the first isn't a big deal, there is a nice montage with a cool ending, but nothing very special or different. Now, the second one is amazing, they go all the way back into no training in technological places and going to nature, get into the desert and that whole sequence is so great, so inspiring, so strong, so painful and raw, they could do a different thing with different training sessions or even the same but in different ways that end up being fantastic. Ivan Drago character was really good, almost everything, since where and how he lives with his son and how he manages to do the training, you can see the necessity to win and get back what he used to have before the Rocky 4 fight. More to the end one thing happen and there you can see a big character transformation, was really emotional and really well done, wich also is in function of the very nice Dolph Lundgren job together with the Florian Munteanu job, they both had nice chemistry, we could totally see how Victor was struggling and trying to help his father to get back up in life and the end he have some really touching moments, they both. Another nice script moment is the one where Adonis and Bianca daughter was born, in determined moment a possible tense moment is happening and it is crucial for what is going on in the story, and the way that it is done, without even one dialogue, showing great acting by Michael B. Jordan and Tessa Thompson, it was so strong and so real, one of the best scenes in the whole film. Stallone is also great in this film, he is a lot like in the first one, but in here he does have a nice improvment in the fatherhood part also at the training one during the desert. There are some really nice dialogues in this film, some really deep and wise things said that can be used in your life. There are strong and provocative moments that worked just well with Ivan Drago. But at the same time there some that could have had better moments, like the first conversation between Rocky and Ivan, it was ok, but it could have been even stronger. Dialogues between Adonis and Bianca in this one also get much better, Bianca have way more to do in here and she helps a lot in the inspiring part. Creed 2 gets exactly where it should, it is not just a boxe movie, it is a movie that talks about life, about struggle, change, difficulties and how to get up and keep fighting, even when you fall, get up and keep there because it is worthy the hard work of something that you love. Talking a lot about parenthood, making others proud and having something more to keep you hardcore, this is what it is about and it is beautiful and inspiring.

A institution of professional killers have a policy of retirement at age 50. When the employee retires, they recieve millions of dollars, and for the company to keep their money and pay their bills they kill every single one that reaches 50 years old, The Black Kaizer is one of them and he will have to fight and shoot to survive. Directed by Jonas Âkerlund and written by Jayson Rothwell. This film is a lot of fun, honestly, it doesn't delivery anything new at all, it is a very known kind of movie that doesn't change anything, but not every film needs to do that, right? The story in here is beyond simple, it is there just to justify the next actions, it is a concept better than anything, a nice and interesting one, not necessary makes sense, but if you don't think much about it, the notion will pull the rope into a fine place. The story is before anything else based on missions, during the film you see some missions that the hitman, Black Kaizer, did in his life and when he gonna reach 50 years old, his company will do anything to kill him, so after his last mission, we see him going under covered and a team trying to find him and kill him. While all of that the montage give us some flashes of something that at first it doesn't make any sense, you not sure if that is a flash foward or a flash back, they keep showing that all the time, you can realise that it is something that torments the character but not until the very end it does make sense, it give us a interesting plot twist, heavy and you can feel some tension, but the way how it was build up was ok, nothing very spetacular, but it is, again, a good twist. The narrative goes mostly in two ways, while showing the main character and stuff around him, it is more dark and raw, but when it changes to the team, it gets full cartoonized, with animation kill and crazy stuff, i like the idea, but how it was made i'm not so sure, there are some moments where they change to one and to another and the scenes in each one are so brief that feels wrong, all the time after some point it goes to crazy to dark, and when they do it, it should feel natural in both, but sometimes it does bother, but not all the time. This is that kind of film with hard sex, giant full of blood violence and drugs all the time, for those that enjoy this is for sure a full plate of fun. One problem with this film is the villain, the company boss, that kind of villain that is fat, have zero athleticism, is arrogant and thinks he is own control all the time, typical **** villain for this kind of film, i couldn't dislike this kind of character more, it is so boring and weak, i believe that they choose this kind of guy to be the villain because he is the completely opposite from what our main guy is, but it is so ridiculous, the character is in a top place in his work, and in every one of his scenes with Katheryn's character i was like, "how is this dumb guy is still on top with she around?" because he is so weak that i can't imagine how she would still be there, Katheryn's character would have knocked him out long time ago. Mads Mikkelsen is really fun to watch, you can totally see that he put his time into his works and incorporate the character pretty fine and you believe in him, you can get angusty in his eyes, along with tranquility, wich makes sense, because he is already doing that for so long, even with all of that, it is possible to feel and see a traumatization by some of his old actions, it is a good interpretation of a not very original character. Katheryn Winnick doesn't have much to do in here, she kinda have some screen time, but what she gotta do is repetitive, in a lot of moments it seems that she is doing the same thing as her last scene, but still, she was ok, she didn't had much material to work with. The action in this film is really good, it is brutal and combined with Mads acting just get better with time. We got a lot of gore scenes with penetrations and blood all the time. There are creativity in some moments and lack of it in others. There are a lot of moments where you can see that someone could have shot in him easily, but come on, right? There are a lot of badass moments for the character, there is one specifically in a cabin that it is really well done, combining the action with the speaking aspect and not being sure of where is who, it is relly raw and fun, there is one or another moment that doesn't made sense, but it was pretty good. Polar is a very fun film, with hardcore sex, brutal and raw violence, and a concept that makes the story keep going, it isn't much original or different from other movies that are like this one, but it is definely a must watch for those who enjoy those aspects that i mention.

The story in this film has a nice base, the first movie worked really fine, and now they kind of do the same thing, but bigger, instead of a confined underground place, the zombies reach the whole Raccoon City, that idea of bigger, i don't quite like it, but i did enjoy the atmosphere as well, the whole idea of being in a sieged city with no way out and a lot of zombies inside is nice, the whole prologue where we see normal people around and the Umbrella members opening the hive is very nice. The story overall is about a run away, an escape of that place, it is ok, there isn't many aspects that make it unique, and is based on convenience and coincidences all the time, and that pisses me off, i really dislike when something crucial to the story happens based in a coincidence or covenience moment, but when it does happens a lot, that is just so bad, like some character finding the other out of nowhere, in a giant city they got so lucky to find eachother, come on, the first time that Alice meets Jill and the others is so ridiculous and so out of nowhere per example. There is one moment in the bridge, where you can see a whole bunch of people, like the the bridge is almost full of people, and when the officers there evacuate everybody that is there, they went back to the city, but when the movie goes back to there, there isn't anyone in the streets, where all of that people went? there a lot of zombies but there is no way that all of these people would become zombies that fast, it feels like a abandoned city, wich gives a cool atmosphere but at the same time it didn't fit on what they were showing before. The 3rd act of this film is totally a mess, for the video game fans it is ofensive, in Resident Evil 3, the game, Nemesis was a really scared dude that was impossible to kill and was always running after you in a crazy speed, every time that you heard that "STARS" you knew that you had to run because **** got serious. Nemesis in this film isn't scary or anything, his visual are fun, but what they did to him dosn't really have the same feeling as the game, but that isn't a big of a problem. The fact that Alice all the time exchange punches with Nemesis is really a horrible thing, more at the end when she fighting with him one on one that is all ridiculous, the conclusion of that battle is even worst, they completed lose a chance to make a remarkable villain like he is on the games. More towards the end you can see Alice killing someone with telekinesis, and that is where Resident Evil movies completed threw it down, a super character in this kind of films just doesn't work, because what would even happen to her if she is a super human against zombies and stuff and can even beat Nemesis one on one, is just isn't fun anymore there is no danger feeling. Jill Valentine is probably the best thing in the movie, even if she wasn't used as well as she could. Jill Valentine is by far my favorite Resident Evil characters from the games, i really went through many things with her in Resident 1, 3, 5 and other games, so we are very familiar already. In this film, first, the way that she looks and dresses is exactly like the game Resident Evil 3, it is so perfect how she is compared to the game in a way that i don't think that we have any other so close to the original in any other video game movie this far. Sienna Guillory portrays her perfectly, she is badass, she speaks with autority, she is well decided on what she do, and also is a very respectful person, i really like her, is to bad that Alice is always over her. The action in this film with Alice are just sad, she having super jumps or super moves, that is not fun, the way that it is filmed is also incomprehensible, the camera have some blurs and some strange slow motions, i really don't get what they were trying to do. The action with Jill and the others, does work, so as the scary and thriller moments, there some nice badass moments with Jill, some moments where you can totally feel the vulnerability of them compared to what they are getting into, it is good. The Star team that gets in the city is also good in action, they have some choreography moves that are fun to watch. One thing that it is good in this film, but it could have been much better, is the atmosphere that they created. The whole thing in the city, with small streets, giving claustrophobia in some situations with a lot of zombies in a small space, that was nice, the ambience in the curch was also well constructed, with water and darkness, far noises. But overall around the city, i felt it much simple, even compared to Resident Evil 3 from playstation one, there was many more places that you could feel that there were something wrong, just by when you stepped there, or even the first movie from this franchise, i think that there is a lack of details that really bothers and makes the difference.

Adonis Creed, son of Apollo Creed, son from an affair that not much people know about is found by his mother and grow up with Anne. Adonis guided by his mom try to follow a normal life, but he just can't do it, so he, that already is very familiarized with fightining, got to a bus to Philladelphia, where he can meet and train with one of his father's best friends and best fighters in history, Rocky Balboa and become a professional boxer. Altrough the idea to make this film is really nice, the story itself isn't much original, it actually looks a lot like the first Rocky movie, with different motivations in some aspects, but in overall is that old and known story, not bad at all, but very familiar. That hero journey with downs, reluctance, fighting and a rising ending. The whole journey is good, how he goes to Rocky, his relationship with him, you can feel the difficult sometime, the struggle and the happiness. The movie also contain some funny parts, they do work pretty well. The Adonis Creed looking for proving that he is deserving is a great thing in here, it is a perfect inspirational for him and for us to watch, i really wanted to know how it was gonna go. Michael B. Jordan did a great performance, his character so as intimidating, also have a sensitive layer, he convinced in a lot of moments, rage, happiness, sadness, hope, great job. The fact that we already know kind of how the story gonna go, the up and downs, one differential thing that they added is the side parts of Adonis, while one is very crucial, the other not that much in the story perspective, wich would be: Rocky and Bianca. Rocky, i just think that he is more than perfect in this film, a post post carreer after retired more than one time, after a lot of dead friends and familiars gone, he is staying with a way more relaxed life, but in other hand, very alone, without much people in his side, a Rocky that lives a lot in the past with what he have accomplished. While he apparentely wasn't doing many things in his life anymore, Adonis came and gave him some new challenge, some new goals in his life, and i think that this was just amazing. Sylvester Stallone did a hell **** job, he could culminate all of that and you truly feel that he went through a lot, because he did, the guilt, missing, solitude, all of that he delivered. Bianca, i did like her character, since the first moment where she appeared in the story i already did, she seemed totally free and different, the chemistry between her romantic couple works just fine, you buy them. Her hearing situation together with the music and shows kind of give some layers to Adonis, but not really, it feels like if you cutted her character off the film it wouldn't feel incomplete, and that is always a problem, she could have had more impact in some way. Tessa Thompson did a very nice job, the caring and the rebel way, it was really nice. There are two big fights in this film. The first one, i gotta say, it is unbelievable, for this one there isn't many different moves or inspirational moments, but again, is the first big fight, and for compensate that, what they did was more than great, they did the whole fight in a long take, no apparent cuts at all and that was incredible, the camera goes there and come back in here, the movimentation and the choreography is all great, it is fun, the camera goes to Rocky, then to the other trainer, it was fantastic, you can always hear Bianca and Rocky giving tips and participating. The second fight, isn't in a long take, but in other hand, it is so enthusiastic, since the first minute, how much the fight means, for him to be someone or not, the narrative was really important to make this one works how it did, the whole situation for Creed to prove to himself that he is not a fraud, that he is real and deserves by his own merits was a strong aspect. The whole fight is great, the choreography is really good, while the fight is going i was getting more tense of what could happen, together with other characters, all the time they showed, Rocky, Bianca and Adonis mother, wich was perfect in giving more blood into it. The fact that they brought a real boxer is really interesting Tony Bellew does act fine, but his moviments are very subtle on ring and while together with Michael B. Jordan i'm sure that they had a lot of tips from Tony on what could have been better to do, so as Gabriel Rosado. While the final ending you are cheering all the time, punching together and screaming together with the crowd, it is so well done and the whole thing is very satisfying. The soundtrack is really on point, there are rap songs playing all the time wich fit perfectly with the context in a lot of moments, the songs are good and got me cheering in a lot of moments. The score is great and there is one specific moment where they play the classic Rocky theme, and it is perfect, the one moment where this happens is fantastic and pumped me up, really powerful moment.

In a future world the level of pullution got so high, the oxygen got contaminated making it impossible to breathe and killing many people, apparently. The girl Sam, survived living in a place where the contamination didn't reach, and from there she tries to find some biological and chemical solution from what is going on. Directed by Jonathan Helpert and written by Clay Jeter, Charles Spano and Will Basanta. I like this kind of movie, a movie where there isn't action, there isn't epic events or not necessary many characters or places, but for this kind of film to work and actually be good, it would need to fill a few requirements, not all of them, but a few, these requirements, i believe, would be at least: Good Dialogues, wich isn't present here, there are so many whatever conversations in this film, somethings that don't made me think or got invested in the situation, the dialogues most of the time are just saying what you already know or things that you won't quite care, saying math formulas and stuff like that in different moments, the dialogues should make you think and absorb something, help into making you care or reflect about something, wich lead us to another thing required. Questionate something that is not usually thought by society in general and is an active thing in the same, wich this movie does try to do, it definely does, but it is so basic and badly done, they do talk about loneliness, but is so superficial, the character is alone for a long time and she doens't seem to have any different aspect from other people, she seems normal, if the movie keeps saying that people are meant to interact and there is one character that doesn't interact with anyone personally in a long time and feels normal, the script is sabotaging itself. A good narrative, this is always important to keep the audience invested in what is going on with that world, even more in a movie that doesn't happen many things, the narrative in this film it starts well, until some moment are actually things going on and they are introducing what is going on and how that affects the places to us, wich worked, the vegetation getting in the city, the purple fire indicating a polluted air, we got to know that the character is trying to find a cure or something like that, until some point it does work, but after it just stops and most of the film there isn't anything going on anymore wich completely took me off. There are some other good things, there are some pretty shots, the whole concept at the beginning is good and interesting, the acting is quite fine in some moments, Anthony Mackie did a really nice job, with frustration and hope, angry in some moments as well, Margaret Qualley is fine, in a lot of moments she is apathetic, in others she can be interesting, but not a big deal. The ending of this film is good, it made me think a bit, not about life, but still, getting together somethings from sooner in the story it can have some different possibilities of interpretation in that ending, wich is always good. The problem with this film is not that this is boring or that it have few characters and few places with an strange ending, the big flaw with this movie is that it doesn't delivers anything, it poorly try to make the audience to reflect about life or changing, but the way that they do it is so bad with such whatever dialogues, dialogues that don't go any deep, is so simple, but at the same time pretending to be something giant.

"Prep for entry to the Hive." "I shot her 5 times, how was she still standing?" Based on the game franchise 'Resident Evil' by Capcom. A company that is very influential in the world, be with money or political situations, very poweful in different sectors of society. That company develop strange and dangerous stuff in their secret underground location, in one day they face a situation where one virus, the T-Virus, got exposed in the facility and all of the employees died becaused of that. A team is sent there to figure the situation and solve some problems, what they weren't expecting is that they would find a bunch of living dead persons, animals and monsters down there to confront. Directed and Written by Paul W. S. Anderson.] The main story of the film is beyond simple, but honestly, very functional, i think that it did a good job in that. We have some side stories that i'm not so sure, there are the story between Alice and the brother and sister, Matt and Lisa that also got Spencer envolved, i know that the whole point of this part in the plot was to have a reason for the the T-Virus to get exposed and have another antagonist further the zombies, but i don't think that it would be that necessary, the final motivation of what was done there doesn't seem to be worth it, but isn't horrible neither, i just think it could have been better at those moments. The overall of the story is basically get inside of an unfamiliar place for a mission, finding out that it is hostile and trying to get out, but what they face in there and how they do it, for me it is a good point, the situations and arguing with the red queen, the struggle that they went trough, not perfect, but really good. There are some moments that are really funny, but not intentionally, how the team moves, the songs that are played in some parts, some moments are goofy, some work and others doesn't. The action plus horror are funny in some moments, creepy in others and they try to have some badass moments that don't really work. The laser room, for me it is a great sequence, the song, what is happening, it was so distressing, first, not knowing what was going to happen, and then after each time things got more tense and nervous, i could see myself in that **** situation. The first time the team met the zombies were really good, they figuring what they were doing or what was going on, i enjoyed. Now, there are some moments in slow motion, or when Alice faces the Licker, where they tried to be so epic that i found bad, doing acrobatic moviments, or fighting the Licker in a way that it would only work if she was way stronger than it, so there are some moments that was poorly done. The Licker CGI is terrible, and they don't try to hide it in any way, when bad cgi's like this happens, the good to do would be try to hide it, only showing the cgi in dark places and hiding it in smokes or shadows, but in here they used it in places with high lights and together with the actors, so it got really bad in some moments. The atmosphere in this film is really nice, the whole idea of being confined in a unkown place with a bunch of zombies is so dark and feels so good to be in a place like that in this film. The scenarios are all very nice and are essential to making this film that fun. The whole labs and rooms that we go into this movie have such of a dark sense, it is like you can feel the evil, the death in those places, it is so well done. Still about the ambience in this film, how the details in scenario and mise-en-scene made so much difference in making this film good, i love so much the atmosphere, objects destroyed, tables turned and covered in blood, broken glasses on the ground, grids cutted off, cages and a lot of strange stuff with pipes, sewer, flooded places. All of that together with the the zombies plus being under the ground helped into making this that nice. The sound design is also very good, the choices that they made in here in a lot of moments making echoing sounds that the characters don't know what it is, hearing from far away, im some momentos coming from different places, it can give a paranoid position that, for me, worked really fine. Sounds of muttering, groan, incomprehensible sounds in some situations, things being dragged. Still helping into making the atmosphere to work perfectly. The soundtrack have a lot of metal songs, during action moments it worked and made some scenes being funny, probably not intentioned, but still made me laugh. The score have some nice fatures, the sounding and the less of it in other moments do a good job, helps in composing the scenes. This first Resident Evil movie is really good and very different from the others, even if there are a few moments where you can have a shot of what is going to become, but in here the atmosphere is perfect, there jumpscares and good moments, not intentionally funny moments, really fun film.

In a possible reality the world is in a shortage of basic resources for survival, there is a lack of energy for example with a lot of blackouts. Then astronauts, from different places in the world, go for a mission in space looking foward to make a strong machine work and then give humanity energy to keep living again. And doing that they just end up in another dimension. Directed by Julius Onah and written by Oren Uziel. So let's start with what is good about the story, wich is the idea, the whole idea is very nice, the characters traveling to another dimension unintentionally and finding out that are versions of themselves and in different conditions are really nice, and the consequence of this broke of time and space being the reason of the creation of monsters, wich we see in other movies from the franchise, the fact that this makes any other creative situations with monsters in any historical moment, not mattering space or time is really good. The justification for the story isn't the worst thing, lack of energy and something so strong to be done on earth can produce more and save people's life, isn't bad, but isn't very good neither, the main thing was to see how that was going to go, the storytelling in this film is really that bad, wich implies to make the audience bored, because there isn't much moments where i got enthusiastic watching this, the story isn't fun, the happenings overall aren't interesting, so all of this helps to make this a bad movie, is the essential. One really bad thing about this film is that all the time they are saying to eachother to go fix that, go do that, arrange this, and sometimes you actually see them doing these things, but it doesn't matter, just never, is all the damn time, you just don't know what they are fixing or doing with tools and all the time we see them using things, a lot of things happen when they are doing those and you just don't get it, i was just like: "but what was he even doing there". There are so many plot holes, that i really got stressed in some moments, i got that the dimensions colapsing and that is the paradox, so strange things happens, that is cool but i think that they went to far in a level that this movie isn't the kind of to do that, like, i'm ok with an arm moving alone, but how in the world and why, a arm would know that a compass would be in the stomach of another guy, that is nonsense in a way that this is not the kind of film to have it, it is nice that everything is strange, people are appearing out of nowhere and they know the others, but there somethings that just didn't fit. More towards the end there are some characters that do somethings really nonsense, i mean, it first makes a decision, and 5 minutes later it completely changes the decision with absolutely nothing being different, the 3rd act of this film have so many flaws that what could have saved the movie in some point, with at least some nice scenes really just made it worst for me. There are some nice scenes, right after they lost Earth and they not sure what is happening, that is nice, imagine that you are orbiting the planet and for one time to another you just completely lost it and have no idea where is it anymore, here is a nice agony, and the things that start happening after it, some work, some doens't, but the true is that it is nice to see strange things going on. About the dimension situation the thing about Ava character is really nice, where in one dimension one bad thing have happened and in the other one the problem is not there, so the fight for stay there or not it is nice. The chemistry between the characters, until some point it is fine, but it got way to whatever. Gugu mbatha-raw overall don't really do a much different or stable thing, but there is a monologue towards the end and some tears in other moments that were really nice. Elizabeth Debicki have some moments in this film that works, her doubt face in some moments is fine, but in other her misunderstanding weren't really convincing, i don't know if that was directing or she, but wasn't good. All the others are just functional, there weren't really much moments for each other. The cinematography really don't mean much, there are some lights in some moments, some use of cameras, but really nothing very special neither inside or outside the station. The soundtrack is ok, but still no big deal neither. Cloverfield Paradox is a film with a very interesting idea, but poorly executed, a story that got interesting during some minutes, but because so many plot holes and a 3rd act with not much coherence, this is self sabotaging.

Miles Morales lives in Brooklyn with spider-man around, in one day he got a bite from a spider, and for his surprise he ended up having spider-man's powers and more. In one day he found spider-man fighting his enemies in a machine, that machine was a key to travel between another universes and for a sequence of facts a bunch of spider-men got in the same universe in need to go back home. Directed by Peter Ramsey, Bob Persichetti and Rodney Rothman. Written by Phil Lord and Rodney Rothman. The story in this film is great, even if you know how it is going to end, it doesn't mean that you can't enjoy the whole journey full of surprises and great, memorable moments.I think that it was perfect what they established since the very beginning, telling and showing us that the events that we have already saw in another movies, comics or cartoons, did happened to that spider-man, it was so important because it made me care so much more about some events, events that got me crying. There is a funeral sequence in this movie that worked really hard, it gave the perspective from the society getting the message, you could feel the sadness, the lose of hope, an idol that inspired you being gone, you could feel all of that, it was great. The introduce you Peter Parker like it should, you already know him, so it just gave a little reminder of some interesting parts and, important, quickly. Now, the introdution of Miles Morales was perfect, you got to know him really fine, understand what he do, his struggles with family and school, and most important, that he is NOT a choosen person that was destined to be a super hero, he is a regular person like any of us, that has problems like any of us and by chance he got bitten by a spider that gave him powers. The whole journey for Miles in here is great and felt natural, things didn't felt off or over something, he is first normal and then got powers and a situation that he can't handle or understand, so in some moment he feels down and depressed and after some event with certain speech he got hope and find strenght to do something great, it isn't the most original thing ever, right? But trust me, the way it is done isn't conventional at all. The way things are setted up is a really good point as well, it helps in having emotional, funny and action moments, and all of that works in overall, there some bad jokes, or some not that good action, but, again, in overall it is really nice. There are a lot of references about the whole spider-man culture that exist, about games, comics, old cartoons, old movies, everything, and they are all so great, they aren't just as free references that consumes time from the movie, it does works together with the story and it is really awesome. The school ambience im this film was really nice and real, wich is important, so as the neighborhood. The main villain does have a good motivation to do what he is doing, even if it isn't much explored. There are another villains that show up, all nice looking and different. There are some moments during the last action moments that maybe was way to much, and some characters that felt so coincidence that really were there that showed up at some point. The multiverse in here is good explored. All the spider-something characterd that we have are different in many ways, they don't waste time telling a lot about each one of them, but they do let you know them better for what they say and do during their time on screen. Another thing that did got me hard in this movie was some dialogues that really let me thinking and learning about some good stuff. The turning point dialogue between Miles and his father really got me, remembered me of how strong family is. Other point was the one where they all understand each other, don't matter how different and strange you might be, there always is someone like you, that will understand and help to make the better version of you, even if they are from another universe. The visual identity in this film is really great, it is different from most animations that are out there, it looks like modern comic books arts. It works really fine, in many aspects, and action is one of those, the colors jumping out the screen, all of that is really good. The soundtrack is another hight point in here, really heroic, in some moments remember the original scores from another movies or shows. The cinematography is really fun, the movimentation of the camera are really fun and intuitive. There are moments when what the character is thinking show up on screen like in a comic, or when a hit happens the "BOOM" is written on screen, just like the Batman tv show. This film is really fun, there are some very nice deep moments, different spider people, not just people, that gives different layers to the characters, fantastic film.

The biggest problem in Cloverfield (2008), was the previous part of the actual stuff and how that affected the whole movie after that, in here, yes, there is a explanation of what is going on in the character's life, and it does work, because it is fast and works to let you know the character just fine so as it is crucial for the story to happens, so it isn't for free or anything bad, it is a great way to introduce in here. The story overall it is really fine, they first try to give us a mystery, for those that already know the Cloverfield franchise that mystery won't work, because these people will already know what is true or not about what is going on outside, but for those that are going to watch it without knowing what the series is about, i think that it will be really nice to figure things and never be sure of the outside world, just like the characters. Wich lead us to say that the characters would be extremely important to work, there are only three characters to interact and they had to be really good and different, and that is exactly what it is, each character have his function for the narrative and all work, you truly care about what is going on. The sequence of facts feels really natural and well done, you first got a mystery from the character, Michelle, perspective, wich works, than you got slowly introduced to the situation by Howard's words, and then got to know the whole bunker and it's rules in a way that you understand very well without getting any boring. The character of Emmett does give a nice personality contrast to work with Howard and for Michelle, the chemistry works fine. During the course of the story there are some really good plot twists, while it goes it does give some more layers to the characters and things got way more scarier and definely got my attention more and more, you got to know the characters more deep and caring more and more for them. There are a few moments where things felt, not just rushed, but the characters could have said something better, like invent things and use creativity, like it was already shown that they had creativity, doing something smart instead of just tearing things apart that easy. There some dialogues where things feels a little unnatural.More at the end there are a big tone difference compared to the whole movie, i do think that in some moments at the ending things went well and in others it got lost, there are somethings that felt just to easy or didn't really made me buy, but in overall the ending worked for me. I read another person saying about a metaphor in this story, and i found it really interesting, so i'm gonna put it in here. So it will have some SPOILERS in this paragraph. It consists in facing the unknown, getting out of the comfort zone. The person said that the characters would represent characteristics from the character Michelle, Emmett would represent hesitation and fear, Howard accommodation and safety. The movie talks much about umconfortable/safety for being in a bunker. All the attempts to leave the bunker are frustrade by Howard. And only when Emmett, the hesitation, dies, the protagonist can overcome Howard and leave the bunker to face aliens, wich would represent the unkown itself. So it would be like she overcame the hesitation, get away of the sense of safety in the comfort zone for literally confront the unkown. The last scene would reinforce this, when she hear in the radio that a city is already under control and Houston are still in war and in need for help, and then she chooses Houston to go. END OF SPOILERS. The technique aspects in here are very good, it can give different senses for who is watching, a claustrophobic moment or a discovering with open plans. The camera movimentation and closing up are really good. The sound design are also nice, hearing things depending from where they are was really important, the mis-en-scene was good, you could have a good idea of how it would feel to be inside of that bunker. The design of the whole place is really nice, you can get where is where or where they are going, it is fluid. The soundtrack is really good, we do hear a lot of songs in this movie as well, and they really worked fine, it helped on giving the scenes some structure. The acting works really fine. Mary Elizabeth Winstead is great, she gave many aspects in here, trying to be conviction, being extremely nervous but holding it down, she really convinces me in everything she did, very good performance. John Goodman is also very fine in this film, he first give a calm character that is trying to do the right thing, but you can clearly see that he is unstable, that he could do anything in any moment and that gives some thriller to the movie. John Gallagher Jr. have a more trickster and joking kind of way, his character isn' much challenging but he did fine.

While some friends were having fun at a party, Robert Hawkins, the host of the show met his ex-girlfriend, Beth, with another guy, and find out that he still have feelings about her. While doing the party they hear a big burst and the ground shaking, trying to find out what that is they face a lot of chaos and confusion in the streets of Manhattan. Directed by Matt Reeves and written by Drew Goddard. The story in this film is really good in the monster aspect to be seen from a perspective of the ordinary people in the city, happening out of nowhere while people, with normal problems, were having fun at home in a normal day, i think that this is one of the biggest attraction in here, together as the fact that, at first, you never get a clean shot of the monster, so you can have an idea of what he can do, but don't know it's phisical aspects, how it's body is formed, but only at first, so the whole narrative of the monsters invasion worked out really fine, how they first emerged, without explanations or any clue of how those things got there, letting it all for our imagination and speculation, just like some characters do, considering what they have choose to motivate the characters to get to point A to B, i found that journey really satisfactory, they were able to go into different situations, face and fight different monsters in interesting circunstances, letting us know more about the monsters so as the whole situation in the city. A thing that i didn't enjoyed in the story was the begin and the whole party thing, the problem with the relationship between Rob and his ex, Beth, for real, i really couldn't care less about any of that, but considering that the point was to, also, make us see that from the perspective of an ordinary person in a regular day, it is ok, but the part of making me care for the characters didn't work out very well, at least not for all of them, maybe one or even two in some moments, but in overall it was weak in this aspect. The characters had some really dumb moments that i couldn't stand, like, if the point of this film was to make we see those things from regular people perspective, why make the main character become Dwayne Johnson, make him be a hero and do crazy stuff to save someone, and also, when the liberty statue's head fall in front of you in middle street, the first thing to do isn't really get into a shop and buy some batteries, that was so whatever, i think that this whole thing about the rescue thing didn't worked out because i didn't bought they relationship for even a second, it was completely placed there and badly developed, and considering that a considerable part of the plot happens because of that it is a problem. Beth tells her what have happened to her five hours before he even got there, and considering the situation that she was for five hours, it is completely nonsense that she could be still alive, and that got me off. At first, while we are only seeing the monsters by far, it is really nice, because you don't know what is that, what can it do, or what it is like, always seeing among the dust and far away, can only get a little clue about what is that, it is nice, and little by little they show you more and more, maybe it wasn't a good idea tho give a clear shot of them, maybe it would have been more interesting to leave to the imagination, but considering that they did, the visual was cool, but in other hand the cgi was awful, but that is only a problem after they really start showing it completely, because before it was covered well. The cinematography is nice, i like the idea to put the hand camera in this movie, gives an even better sensation of how it would be like to be there and seeing those things from some distance and only getting glimpses, so in consequence it is a very shaking camera. The shots are very well made, the composotion of the shots, mainly while filming the monsters are nice, almost always covered with dust or among the buildings, it was good, sometimes letting we see something through cloth in shadows or through some lights that makes some really nice shots. The character are another problem, not really caring about much of them. Lizzy Caplan plays the character with more personality in her, turning out that you will care more with her, for sure, the acting is really nice. Jessica Lucas plays a good friend for Rob, in some moments she works, in others it feels really artificial what she says. T.J. Miller is the one that you probably will hear more the voice, and damn, he is annoying here. Michael Stahl-David is ok in some moments, he try to put the hero on, in some moments he is just annoying, in others he is functional. Cloverfield is a nice handcam monster movie, the monsters and how the movie work with them are really fun and fine, the story about the people is good in the way that we see the monsters from a comum perspective, but it is bad in what they decide to run them into, it is weak in some ways.

Cleo works as a maid in a rich people's house, and together with them she goes into some travels, she does have her personal life relationship and goes through a lot of struggle in her life, while the mexican political situation is complicated in that time that the "El Halconazo" have happened. Directed and written by Alfonso Cuarón. The best thing about this movie, is the outstanding technical part for sure, there are so many fantastic things in this movie about this that i don't think that it is possible to put in words, it is so giant and amazing the job that they have done with immersion, this is probably one of the movies that i have felt more immersed while watching it from all, the movie is slow, but this happens for you to hear every little thing that is happening in that place, to see and feel every little small and single thing. The photography in here is also gorgeous, the camera movimentation is so sweet, is so not intrusive, it feels that you are there, watching from far away, the way that the camera is positioned in this film, so as it is moved, quietly and slowly, all of those things together allows you to almost smell the place. The choregography in some more agitated and with violence moments are also perfect, because you can't tell that there is one, everything feels so real, in a level that got scary. The story in this film is, for sure the biggest problem, so as the biggest differential in here, is definely what separate people that gonna love it and find it a disgrace. The thing about the story is that first, it is really real, real in way that everything could be happening inside of your own house, or with your neighbor, so it don't have a big narrative, plot twists, a big construction, it is really simple in a way that, as i said, could be happening to anyone. Another thing about this narrative, the director wanted to make us immerse a lot in this film, wich worked 100%, but in other hand to do it so he had to use some time in order to let us feel the place, a lot of time is in simple things, like Cleo cleaning, or th owners of the house parking the car in the garage, so there a lot of time in really small things, that can make in some moments you get tired, but it works perfectly in the immersion aspect. The narrative overall being so slow does bothered me, in some moments i started having my mind somewhere else, but in others the realism really cought me, fascinated me how that could literally happening in next door. The story does have different layers and aspects, it talks about the social difference between Cleo and the people that lives in that house, how do they treat her, and how her life is. There is the political aspect of Mexico at that time, with a lot of fights, war and death, moments that shocked a lot. And of course there is the way that Cleo sees all of that. This is movie for me to be rewatched and get more and more, understand more and more what Cuarón was telling. This is a story with a lot metaphors, one of the most real stories around there, really remarkable moments and scenes that i would say that already are in the history of movies.

"You never win with violence, Tony, you only win when you maintain your dignity. DIGNITY ALWAYS PREVAILS." "Yes, i live in a castle, Tony. Alone!" "So if i'm not black enough, and if i'm not white enough, and if i'm not man enough, then tell me Tony, what am i?!" "The world is full of lonely people afraid to make the first move." Based on the true story of Don Shirley and Tony Lip. Tony Lip looking for a job, ends up meeting "Doc." Shirley, piano musician, and the job that he offers to Tony is to be his driver and assistant while making a tour in the deep south in United States. In a time that racism was literally everywhere in the worst way as possible they gonna go through a lot of struggle and also face a big self learning with eachother. Directed by Peter Farrellt and written by Peter Farrelly, Nick Vallelonga and Brian Currie. The story is based in real facts, and it is really interesting how they make us know the characters, in a lot of moments, without dialogue, just how they are, or what attitudes they got into some situations, in simple things, like throwing two cups away for a specific reason, or drinking and starring at people talking and having fun, it's not necessary to the characters to verbally say something, you get a lot just by watching them. I giant thing about this movie is the dialogues, the dialogues in this film are outstanding, those who wrote this deserve some awards, the dialogues in here go really deep, they do make you have a reflection about many different things and in many different layers, it does teach a lot with different and smart conversations. I like that this movie give different layers for it's story, it isn't a story where they approach racism, just saying that white people do bad things, there is this, yes, and it is important, there are really shocking moments where they approach this, showing how ugly racism is, but in this story they show also that, there are good white people, so as there bad black people, this movie isn't trying to make your thoughs agains one or other, they show nice black people in bar, so as bad trying to steal, so as they show a bad white cop, so as one that just wanted to help them, so i think that this movie is trying to unite, wich is really important. The relationship between them are really nice, that makes the movie, you can got different layers from both of them, not just personally, but also in a society form, preconception, solitude, fear, there are so many different themes that this story reaches, and i think that it was all very satisfactory, there is a lot in here. The journey of the character Tony, is really nice, they first show that he is a racist, but a subtle one, that doesn't make anything better, so with time, with his time with Shirley, learning a lot with him, having him helping with letters, i think that he kind of lost that, showing that with conversation you can solve things a lot of times, at the end there is a really moment of hope, wich worked for me. The film may have some continuity problems, some sequences felt lacked in giving the results of something that was happening right before, it felt like the sequence got broken. For this movie to work, the both main characters would have to play a great job, their chemystri would have to be really good, and in fact, it is outstanding as well. Viggo Mortensen is amazing in here, first his accent that he keeps perfectly during the whole course of the film, it is not just funny but also categorical, his character is very imposing, strong, you totally believe in him beeing able to fix possible problems while a trip, he is definely a guy that you would like to have around, he does that character more like not caring for many things, more swinish. Mahershala Ali is exatcly the contrary, and he is damn perfect, he is fine, speaks like a gentle, have really careful choice of words, and have a posture of a king, his composure and wisdom are really interesting, he does have some lines that are really deep, and i think that he could give that depth in the way he spoke, you truly believe in those words, like he knows what he is talking about, another really great thing about his work, that he could made see the sadness in some moments, it wasn't like he just talked about it a few times, you could see in the way that he looked to the others, fantastic job. Another casting that i found really fun, is the members of the Tony Family, they actually got the real people from his family to put in the movie, that was nice. Linda Cardellini is also in here, she is at least functional, nothing very challenging, but she was good. Green book is a amazing film, it does show the grown of a relationship, as a both people becoming good friends, as a individual point of view as well, very clear how they grown with eachother, and also as a society, talking about racism and loneliness with great dialogues, funny and dramatic moments and awesome lines.

"There is no there anymore" Marlo, is just about to get birth for her third child, she already passes through a lot of struggle with her two first and have problems with her mental quality, she got depressed, a husband that spend a lot of time out of home, seeing that her brother suggests for her to get a babysitter for the night, and from that she got to learn a lot about herself. Directed by Jason Reitman and written by Diablo Cody. I learned so much with this movie, let's begin with that, this movie is definely the one that i have seen that better represents the maternity, before anything else this film made me reflect, like how much did Charlize's character seemed to suffer, how much struggle, how much rage and pain, with so many difficult, and the father was nowhere close most of the time, this movie got me to see that i gotta be better and i will help my wife and give my blood to help her and take care of our children, i really felt for Marlo in here and was wishing all the time for she to get better and help, so this movie is also this, a communication for men about having a child and taking care of it. Another thing is really big in this movie, is for you to understand that time flies, and you gotta be ready and accept, you can let your past help you, yes, but don't let it get on your back like an extra weight, because that could turn in a big regret. The movie does a great job in metaphorical ways tell us, that the past is gone, we can still get somethnings from when we were 20, but when we got 40, somethings we just will just not be able to recreate. So i think that the biggest lesson in here, is that first, we gotta enjoy each time, no matter what, because things gonna end, and we gonna miss it, and also we gotta learn how to make ourselves health and adapted to each moment, because we will have up and downs, and if we don't deal properly when we are down, we won't get up again. The narrative in this film is perfect, it flows perfectly and you never get bored or anything close to that, every single scene count and have a meaning for the full story that they are telling, it can put the atmosphere for each moment work, so you got angry with her, depressed with her, happy with her and also got hope together, you can totally feel the weight during the scenes, you can feel so much everything in here. Right at the moment where the character Tully enters in this story, things got so different, the atmosphere of the movie changes and everything got calmier and apparentely easier, you can totally feel the rest that Marlo got and you feel good about it. One thing that i really appreciate when movies can provide for the public, is that each time that you gonna watch it, each time of your life, you gonna get a different perspective of it, as a 20 years old person full of health, you gonna see it in one way, as a mother, a father, old, this have different ways to get consumed. Another thing, is that one giant plot thing that happen in the last, some people will got it before, some will get only in the moment, but the fact is that it is awesome, risky and beautiful, it is that kind of plot twist that when you got it, you gotta rewatch the whole movie again, and it will be seen in a different way, some kind of Tyler Durden kind of thing, i love that so much. The photography in here is great, the color palette changes according to how the situation is, it can get gray and darker, so as colorful and happy. There are moments where the visual is also subtle to tell us things, story beyond the script and i love that. The edit in this film is really nice as well, the flowing is on point. The soundtrack is great, there musics composed by Rob Simonsen, there are some musics that are really beautiful. Charlize Theron is perfect in this film, she is a mother in real life and definely know exactly the struggle and the happiness envolving in here, she convince 100% of each one of her feelings, her rage, her depression, her necessity, and the relation with her younger self. Mackenzie Davis is also perfect, when she comes into the scenes she just shines with her giant smile, the director used her very well, she can bring back the spirit into a young a health person, full of dreams and stuff. Ron Livingston is also good, his job was easier, but he did it well. Tully is wonderful and perfect movie, it is entertaining, let you full of thoughts philosophizing, in can be got in different ways depending in wich part of your life you are in, there is a fantastic plot twist that makes the movie be rewatchable right after watching it the first time, it gives a perfect idea of how motherhood can be and does give you some sort of idea, that how to be better, how to help better, how to be more present.

"I can't make you something you are not" A professor, Rachel Chu, from a college in New York, falls in love for a boy, Nick Young, from Singapore that she doesn't know much about, in one day he invites her to met her family back in his country, wich she didn't knew that he belongs to a crazy rich and very influential family that can be really hard to deal with, the boy will be the best man of his friend marriage and that will give a chance to Rachel to meet the people around there better. Directed by Jon M. Chu and written by Peter Chiarelli and Adele Lim. The story of this film isn't much original, neither interesting in many ways, it is like that narrative where two persons have fallen in love, but the boy's mother don't like the girlfriend and a lot of his friends mock the girl because they are envious, this plot isn't good for me at all, this is so generic, is not my kind of thing. The romantic comedy genre, in my opinion, don't change much from movie to movie and in here it keeps the same formula. Normally this kind of movie are very generic and stuff, in here in some moments it does give a little hope that it is going to be different in some way, it may have some plot twists that works, but at the end they just bring back like it didn't matter and they end is exactly what you think is gonna be at the first five minutes watching this movie. I think that this movie started well, it first presented me the situation, the people, i got on this story, but it took so long for they to present the problem and put it in the works that i got bored, just so bored, there is like 40 minutes or more until you can have an better clue of what the problem in their story could be. There is so many moments in this movie that for them to work, you gotta really care about the characters, and i gotta say that they really failed in making me care about the characters, i could care about the two main ones, but they do such of a situation for a marriage about two people that i didn't even knew their names, like they may had some dialogues, but there is whole scene about it and i just didn't give a damn, i didn't even knew them. The presentation of the Young family and how they live, i found it good, you got to know a lot of them, giving some side story, that in some way gave pillars to it's narrative, it is good. There a lot of bad jokes in here, some work, most from Awkwafina, she can be funny. I found some weak things, like how the character of Nick leave Rachel completely by her own to deal with her mother or even his ex, that was dumb, he should have spoken with her about some of these stuff. I think that this movie is way to long, a movie that is so predictalbe and does have a story that you can tell what is happening at the end for sure, you don't really care about many characters, the narrative gotta work fast, in here there so many unnecessary scenes, scenes that are in herer just to be cool, the problem is that it just don't add anything to the story, so as isn't cool, so don't really work. One good thing about this movie is how well it shows the culture of Singapore, it does not just got you a really good idea of how the whole city state is, the really creative buildings, the atmosphere, the landscape around there, all of that is so beautiful, as also the culture by the families, at leas the one that they showed, wich i believe that is like how many ones are around there, since this is a movie about them, it is really interesting to see how much they care about their name and how important is the family in their eyes, so as the reputation that it could cause. The actin by some parts works. Constance Wu is really nice, she could truly convince me that she not just loved him, but also in a lot of other emotions, she does have some moments of monologues that i truly liked and she really won me there, more at the end in the conversation with Eleanor, the way that she talked and stared, that was really nice. Henry Golding felt like a nice guy, but nothing really that special, no great moment. Gemma Chan does have a ok arch, her character have some nice moments, being friend of Chu and with her partner. Michelle Yeoh is very nice in here, she is a demander and dominant, but at the same time with some doubts. Ken Jeong have a small participation, he is funny as always. So as Awkwafina, she is nice in here, her character is funny and her acting is looking good. Even that this movie have some nice moments, you can get some good things from this movie, i found the narrative really bad, some dumb moments and anti sympathetic.

"You can't be brave without being scared" Kayla is in her last year of the middle school, and she is known as been a very introvert person that doesn't have many friends, spend a lot of time on internet and not actually having real relationship, and than she decide that she wants things to be different and face some challenges trying to find some experiences, doing that she also put her vlogs on internet looking foward to give people some advices. Directed and written by Bo Burnham. The great about this movie is that it teaches you, didactically in a very natural way, a lot about living the life, from the perpesctive of a teenager, wich for a lot of us, still have situations that are really close to what they go through. In this story we can get perfectly how it is to be like one of them, in the minimum details, the subtleties that the character of Kayla is nothing but perfect, wich is a lot of points for the director, Bo Burnham and the actress Elsie Fisher, the way that she tries to speak to others and fail, the way that she is always looking down to speak to almost everyone, the shy, she been somewhere with people talking, even know that she got invited to do it so, but she just don't feel comfortable on it, all of that is so relatable and real, simple and real like few things in Hollywood are. The lessons from Kayla's videos are: 1st - Be yourself: Of course, we gotta be ourselves and accpet that all the time to be happy, the situation is that sometimes we even think that we are someone that we actually aren't, and that happens with Kayla there. Another lesson would be: Putting yourself out there: and also, of course, you gotta expose who you are, talk to people, and that is so important, because met new people are essential for life, and you never know who you gonna met, and that is perfectly showed in this film. Confident, is important for you to be confident to all of the things in life can go well, the movie is good in letting us know that is normal and good to be afraid, you just gotta go on. The fact that you really care for the main character in here is essential, and you can see that she is learning a lot and risking a lot, doing different things that she isn't usual to, and you all the time is cheering for her, and the movie is also real in the sense that the things that happens, actually are true and somethings go well and some doesn't, that every action ends up in a consequence, and some of these consequences can be horrible, no one is perfect, the movie pretty good in showing us that, nothing is perfect and there a lot of scary things around there. Letting us know that the worshiped people aren't necessary the better people to be with, there are people that can be way more fun and aren't so hyped by others, always try the different. In acting there are some really good content in here, Elsie Fisher with only fifteen years old is already giving some really good work out there, she is great in this movie, she could interpret the shy person perfectly, you can totally see in her the lack of confidence in some moments and the need to get friends and to make contact, but just being unable to do it so, the anguish is felt in her, she can also be very kind, and have different layers in voice and in other aspects, she is great. Josh Hamilton is also great, overall in the movie he did worked exactly how a father would, accepting the childern's moment, but always with a bigger tie of concern, and i totally believed in him, in his concern, and he also have a really good monologue at the very ending, really touching. Jake Ryan is really nice in this movie, he portrays the perfect match for Elsie's character, he is kind and fun. The soundtrack is on point, it does have a hope moment when things are getting better for the character, and the lack of track in some moments i also found pretty well used, it helped to give the perfect situation for the moment. The photography is also good, there are some plans that can really help us in understand the scene. The movie works with the technologies that are used by the people in that age really well, and the photography works quite well in this aspect, there are one or other moment where it may get to polluted. There are one or another moment where things get in slow motion and not really pretty in what they do, i found some of these goofy, but overall it worked. Eighth grade is a fantastic movie, one of the most real movies from the year that can have wonderful teaches to people that are in that age range and also for everybody else, because knowing ourselves is a thing for life, we are always changing and always gotta be aware of what is going on, being respectful and understandable or apprehensible.

"If you don't dig deep in your **** soul, you won't have legs." The third remake of the original "A Star is Born" from 1937. A depressed singer, Jack Maine, that while having problems with his mental healthiness, he is also have situations with his hearing, he is getting deaf little by little and deal with those things with alcohol and drugs. A girl, Ally, that sings in bars and have a ordinary job, write some songs and got mocked because of her look, hope that one day she will have a bigger chance to make success. These two met in a bar one day, and from that they will try to have a relationship in their personal lifes and professionally. Directed by Bradley Cooper and written by Eric Roth, Will Fetters and Bradley Cooper. The story starts showing a bit of how both are, you can get a really nice shot and idea of what is going on with both of them, they do it quickly and well. There is one think that i didn't bought in this first act, wich is Ally saying that she couldn't get a contract because people said that she is ugly, i mean, they didn't made Lady Gaga look bad in this movie, she is still gorgeous, so i couldn't see that happening. You totally believe in their relationship, it does work a lot, you can get why each one would be with other, their chemistry is great. The immersion in some moments are really good, where they got in the show for the first time for example. The ending of the movie is really shocking, what happens is very shocking and the way that it was done was really perfect, it was raw. I found the film way to long, i think that it could have some minutes less, there were some specific moments where i got tired because was the same thing happening over and over again. The way that they deal with the depression in this movie is very realistic and important, i see in this movie some really situations with drugs, hiding and consequences that you can see a lot in real life, that isn't the success of the money that will fix it. Bradley Cooper wanted to make us think about people that change who they are, for the success, people in the show business that try to be something else to be more accepted andd easily work there way into the market, a thing that we can say that are some metalanguage in here, because Lady Gaga did somethings like this, so this definely adds value for this one One thing that i have seen some people discussing about, i'm not quite agree with everything, but, i believe that is a nice thing to keep in the thoughts, wich is if the relationship that Jack and Ally had, has some kind of abusive situations, because an abusive relationship isn't only when someone beats the other, there are a few moments in this film that can make things go in this way, for example, Spoiler: When Jack driver says that he won't accept a no as a answer, or when Jack shows up out of nowhere inside of Ally's bed while she is sleeping, i gotta say, that in these i kind felt strange about what was happening, i wasn't sure, and are other moments, like when he passes the cupcake in her face, some people say that he was just drunk and did that, other people could think that he was actually being very disrespectful, because she was saying a important thing, but those are things that can be arguable, what you think? Bradley Cooper is amazing, he is just spetacular in here, if not his best acting job is for sure one of the best, he made me believe 100% that he is a drunk man, his job with depression is also something that you can feel, you can feel sadness, the sorrow in him, and how happy he is for meeting someone that could pull him out of there, and also they that he looks, is damn amazing, OSCAR for this man, please, at least a nomination that he damn deserves it, and by the way, he is a really good singer. This is the first time that i see Lady Gaga acting, and i gotta say that she really surprised me very well, she did a very nice job, in sorrow and in hope, happiness and scary, there were one or another moment that for me it felt a bit to artificial, but overall she did a hell of a nice job, and while singing, i don't really have to say anything. Sam Elliot is also very well in here, i found him pretty strong, emotional and have a nice story in his character, you can see that he care. Andrew Dice Clay and Dave Chappelle have similar jobs, not big roles, but they both did it pretty well. The soundtrack in this movie, as expected, is great, they can help the situations with very subtlety or in others very rocky. The original songs are good, i'm not gonna say that i'm still hearing all of them, but there are one or two that really got and are very nice, the Gaga and Cooper duo did worked. The photography and technic stuff in here are really nice, they use a lot of colors that help us to understand how the character is in the moment, i think that we could have seen some open shots, but considering that it wasn't what the movie is about, i think it is ok.

"What are you? Shut the **** up" During a mission envolving the rescue of hostages, a U.S. team end up catching a space ship falling from the sky, a ship that was being persecuted by another ship. When they go to investigate the ship, the soldier McKenna found the technology from the alien know as "Predator" and from that he steal the tec and start a fight with the alien. So they triggered a super hunter that wants to destroy the human race, where ex-soldiers and a scientis gotta stop it. Directed by Shane Black and written by Fred Dekker and Shane Black. Well, let's begin with the first act from this film, i think that this story starts well, it, with some mystery, a very nice touch of action in stealth mode, so it starts going fine, i think that they introduce the characters well, you get to know how they are from they speaking about them or the other about someone, so that was fine. The problem is also since the very beginning, why would someone take guns from an alien and this alien try to kill you right after, and then decides to send the full gear for the son that you love so much, that is just so off. The script overall is such of a mess, i mean, they tried to make a predator movie, in a kind of deadpool jokes way, i don't think that it fits, but if they really wanted to do this, i think that it would be better to be a not connected to the other franchise movies of predator, but they do mention the other movies, the good ones, so i don't think that it fits, if they decided to make a spin-off or something like that, i believe that it would be easier to accept it. There are so many scenes and events in this movie that are so dumb, like the thumbs up that the predator do with the dead guys hand, or the predator dog playing nice with the humans, even catching a ball and bringing back, come on, that isn't really funny, not for predator, that felt like those movies that are parody from a serious one, like "Meet the Spartans" for example, just didn't worked out. The story invented somethings that isn't original in any possible way, a race that wants to destroy the other one, and then one rebel will try to save them, i'm not even gonna say that it is that bad, but still ain't very creative, and from that i think that a lot of things doesn't really makes much sense. The ending is terrible and awful, it remembered me from the Resident Evil 2 ending, where Alice beat Nemesis with her hands, in here it kind of happens the same thing, but before that, it was interesting to see the super predator fighting decision, giving them advantage time and having some fun in the fight, but the elapse of it was so bad, somethings was like, "they really wanna go with this dumb plan?" and even worst than that, is that the predator falls in it, it's ridiculous, the lack of creativity in these moments was really the worst. More through the end, there are so many conveniences that are decisive for the conclusion, that it lost me completely, you will not just think that such powerfull and advanced being will have such weakness in his technology, it just don't match, they way that they beat him is so easy, and with some script holes that i couldn't buy, for real, somethings didn't made any little sense. The movie does have some fun moments, the transition between some of these moments to horror or action didn't worked very well, the action scenes start well, but they lost the hand during the course of the movie, i like it that it was gore and a lot of blood, some really mercyless strikes wich was fun to watch, the cgi wasn't perfect, you could see it in some moments. They sold the idea that the super predator was so strong that when they beat it, it did felt ridiculous, because they couldn't beat the regular predator, how they could beat the mega one in such simple way, with damn gun, pistols, shots and a arm. Olivia Munn character, apparentely is a scientist, but she end up being a military especialist out of nowhere, a thing that they could easily fix with one dialogue, she is ok, don't really have much intepretation to do. Boyd Holbrook convinces in the action and as a leader. Keegan-Michael Key and Thomas Jane make a nice duo, they are funny. Trevante Rhodes does have charisma. Sterling K. Brown is a ok villain, his interpretation is fine. The predator is a very goofy movie, with some plot holes, conveniences and coincidences, a way to cliche script, characters that have some charisma, some gore and nice action moments, and a ending that didn't made sense, it could be fun, but i'm not really interested in rewatching it.

In a futuristic world where people have created artificial humans to do the though job and work as slaves, they are named as replicants. When some of these replicants escape from the place where they were forced to work and end up in Los Angeles, looking for to meet their creator and prolongate their lifetime. A cop, the Blade Runner, gotta hunt and "retire" the replicants group. Directed by Ridley Scott and written by Hampton Fancher and David Peoples. This film is a gamechanger, not just for the sci-fi, but for movies in general and in multiple ways, be in visual, in philosophy, style, you can se a lot of movies that use the aspects created in this film in other future classics after this. The story can be very confusing and boring for some people, because of it's slowness, but i found that great, the dialogues in this movie are all very deep and smart, the narrative of this movie together with it's atmosphere puts you completely inside of the movie, the darkened Los Angeles, with the smoke everywhere, with different kind of people, all helps to put you inside of the movie, with it's strong colors, a very noir and investigative story that is very well set. The world building in this is magnificent, a world build in 1.982 for a futuristic science fiction, using no cgi technologies, all practical effects where we can't see things dated, things are still visually relevant in now days and also one of the best futuristic universe made, using models, creating real things, it all make the movie not get ugly with time, not using bad cgi, i found all that really pretty and well made. The visual in the world, laden in neon and cyberpunk characteristics, so those lights together with the dark things, a world where is always night, it got really pretty and depressive visual, wich is perfect for what the movie is telling. The philosophy situation in here, is giant, and we could list some film that surely got influenciated by this in it, wich would be Ghost in the Shell or Matrix for example. The discussion of the replicants and humans are fabulous, if someone develop emotions, and those emotions are exactly like the regular human ones, what could differ than from humans, what would make them less humans than us? The fact is their fights is totally relatable to stories in our society, people that got created just for one specific reason, and are enslaved to do that, created to have no emotions, and live a really few time, can't we relate that to our routine? Another big thing that i found really fantastic in here, is that the reason that the replicants are getting hunted by Deckard, is because they are considering dangerous and not humans by the people, the fun fact is that at the end of the day they got to be more humans than actual humans, the end of the movie is such of a masterpiece because of that, you got a "human" trying to "retire" a "monster" and suddenly such monster becomes more human than the human, that was a thing to think about, what are we doing with our lives, we actually living or just pretending. A memory in our mind is just a flash of something that have happened, a implanted memory is much different from that? Another fantastic thing about this universe, is that what we are seeing is just a really small part of it, all the time they are talking about the giantic universe that happens around there, making it clear that Earth is just the scum of what exist, making it clear that who lives in this planet is only there because couldn't afford to live or didn't passed the texts to go out, so knowing that is a giant and rich universe is already a very interesting thing. The soundtrack for this movie is, in my opinion, the best soundtrack ever made, what Vangelis did in here was unbelievable, i think that this song is probably the most imersive ever made, it talks so much with what is going on in the movie, it is a song that you can feel the waves getting inside of you and running in the veins, it is so much of a masterpiece. Rutger Hauer as Roy Batty is the best character in the movie, by far, his acting is so on point, he is angry and agitated, but at the same time a very leader person, he does have some lines in this movie that are perfect, and in the way that he speaks it, just made everything better and created one of the most memorable scenes in cinema history, so as making us questioning who is the actual villain in this film. Sean Young as Rachael is also very perfect, she was in her voice very innocent, with a lot of doubts and discoveries, a very important character, love between a replicant and a human. Harrison Ford in some moments felt kind of disinterested, but maybe that is his character, and overall he wins it with his expressions. Daryl Hannah as Pris was really nice, her character was very interesting and i think that she could have been more explorated in this story. Joanna Cassidy and Brion James wasn't very explored, but they definely worked out very well.

"El Paso, Flip! El Paso." Based in the book Black Klansman, from Ron Stallworth. The first African American police officer from the city of Colorado in United States, joins the force in a time with a lot of racism and preconception. At a time where the Ku Klux Klan was being formed, Ron decide to infiltrate in the group and tear it down in the best way as possible, from inside, but once that he couldn't phisically get there, his partner Flip, a Jewish got to be there in the Klan. Directed by Spike Lee and writenn by Spike Lee, David Rabinowitz, Charlie Wachtel and Kevin Willmott. This story is a real one, i'm not so sure how much of true facts we have in here and how much got invented for the narrative to flow, but i can say that it is much well successful, the story is very well told, you can understand what is going on very well, you can get who is a **** and who is a good person, wich side each one is, you decide if this is good or not, i think that for this story it did worked. Spike Lee was able to put in our view different sides, we can see the racists white people, the not racist white people, the militants, that, in some way, also does spread some hate as well, and our character, Ron Stallworth, is in the midway of that, he, of course, hates the racists, and also, knows that isn't all white people and cops are bad people, so he sees in the big picture, that isn't a bad or good side, except the racism one wich is bad, but in cops and in militants, there are good and bad things in both of them. The movie makes a point of showing us, brutally and raw the racism that exist, it is so ugly and nasty, there are some moments that it got me right at the "Get Out" movie for example, in dialogues and in visuals, things got hard and deep. There are a few things in the story where things could have been a bit better in my opinion, there some things that are well developed, some things that kind of feel out of place, some scenes go for so long, the movie could have been a bit shorter as well. The acting here, i found it great. John David Washington was great, he could show me how indignant he was about the whole racism situation, he could pass me the rage that he felt when he got disrespected, i could see in his face how much he wanted to fight back, in other moments he was funny, discounting the anger like punching the air, his expressions was really nice and convencing, great job. Laura Harrier was also pretty good, she as a militant leader made me believe that people was on to her. Adam Driver is damn great, he pass through some situations that are kind of extremes, he is totally in embarrassed moments during some moments of this movie, and it seems that he always have a good answer, for more tense that his position could have been, he was the best on giving me the conflicts of being inflitrated in some group like that. Jasper Pääkkönen plays a really stereotyped guy, the way that he portrays his character is pretty close to how he plays his character in Vikings, a very agitated person that is always suspicious about others. Ryan Eggold in other hand plays a much quieter character that trust better in other words. Topher Grace as David Duke also did a good job, he can use the words really well. Alec Baldwin have a small part in this, and he is just hateful. Paul Walter Hauser is also in here, and he plays his character in the same way that any other of his characters, a drunk dumbass. Even that the movie is in the 70's, you can see that a lot of those things still happens in nowdays, wich is sad and a terrible thing that we have in our society, this movie does criticizes the people a lot, showing how ridiculous and disgusting racist people are, Spike Lee did this with maestry, you can just feel the anger and frustration running in your veins when you see the scenes in this movie, and he did in a way that you could feel in the whole place how much wrong things was going o there. The soundtrack of this movie is fantastic, it is so amazing, like a guitar in a epic solo, for some reason it reminded me of Jimi Hendrix. So as the photography in general, the shots in here have a 70's feeling, since the way that it got filmed, there is some really pretty moments that the camera film from the nature. There are some dutch cameras being utilized in here that represents pretty well the unbalance that is happening in the scene and also in the planet in general. The movie also does criticizes the government openly, without letting anyone have any kind of doubt on what they are referring to, during the end, it is a really shocking thing that comes at you like a strongly punch, right at the stomach.

The world building that they created down in the sea is just fantastic and one that i don't remember in any other super hero movie with this level of quality and details, the first time that you get to Atlantis you can already see how beautiful and different it is, i don't really remember of any other world that existed in under the sea in a movie, so maybe this is the first one that are out there. The scene when we arrive there, Wan first showed an outside view, ships around the "street" flying in a way that really remembered me StarWars episode 2 when that scene in the beginning where there are a lot of ships flying everywhere, but in here the cgi is way better, when we finally got inside of the drowned city we can see the the nature working together with the edifices, it is all very good looking, they did gave a neon atmosphere in everything, the colors make contrast between the blue in the ocean giving everything a very nice aspect to it. The action in this film is fabulous and giant, there are first solo fights from the characters against the soldiers of Atlantis, the cgi in one or another moment could have got heavy in some of these, but in overall, i think it got really nice, the choreography in some moments isn't really different, but in the fights with the tridents, and down in the ocean, things got really interesting, the floating in the sea is already really nice, to see the characters swimming arounde here and there, is a already nice and different situation, but fighting with all of this together gave some possibilities that, for me, was well made, the details in the water particles while the character were moving and hitting fast, so as the choreography in those one on one were pretty good. The power of Mera was a lot of fun, the water manipulation is a really interesting thing that can be used in some different ways, they used it as a weapon, as a escape exhaust valve and a solution for some situations, that in general it was really well used. The Black Manta visual was dope, and his action was also really nice, giving load to his strikes, and the laser was also really well done. And finally, for the action, the fantastic and giant war that have happened in the end, oh wow, that was great, the cgi wasn't really noticiable there, things were pretty there the animals fighting, the different beings doing different things, and some giant things happen there, wich i'm not going to spoile, but it was beautiful. Technically this movie is great, the art direction is amazing, there are a lot of shots that i could just put in my wall for just how beautiful the frame was. The costumes are also amazing, the suits and armours that the royal people use in Atlantis are fantastic, the armour of the soldiers are different and also really interesting, and the main guys suit are unbelievable, Aquaman with his golden suit and the Ocean Master with the silver one, those two costumes are one of the prettiest and most loyal from the comics that have ever existed in super hero movies, the contrast that it had when they were battling got fetching. The camera movimentation that Wan uses in here is also a big differential, he uses rotating cameras in some moments, he uses the camera so nicely during the action sequences and also together with the montage, there are also moments, where he uses the camera and the atmosphere in favor to do what he is very familiar in horror movies, so it kind of gives some horror atmosphere sometimes, wich is good and different. The script is where there is the biggest flaws in this film, first they introduce things well, saying that are different kingdoms and stuff, but things really feel rushed. There are moments where the vibe of the movie changes completely, together with the songs, there are moments where things are, intentionally, very goofy, there are moments that reminded me of baywatch, or trash comedy movies, in other things felt like blade runner, in some moments these crazy things works, in others not that much. There are some solutions that the movie found that i really didn't bought, some explanation situations also feels to conventional. There are some dialogues that are dumb, some really fun moments, some nice reliefs and some moments where more dramatic things happens that do work. The relationship between Mera and Arthur are way to rushed, i didn't really bought that, it does make sense, but definely felt rushed. Black Manta in this movie he have the function of, first to be apresented for us and the universe, second, make things a little harder for Aquaman and Mera, but he isn't really necessary for this film specifically, but he works as in this function. They say that are a lot of kingdoms in the sea, but i really think that i didn't saw all of them, and towards the end i think that in that context, would really make sense on having all of them there, the story is very predictable, we don't really have much surprises going on in here, but it is a solid story.

Based in a book from Pamela Lyndon Travers, Mary Poppins, from 1934. A rich familly with two children that are very stubborn and complicated, that every nanny that they had before quit the job or got fired, the parents, that don't have much time for the children needs a now one, and from there comes the famous Mary Poppins to be the kids nanny. Right at the first moment the kids already noticed that she ain't really a normal nanny, they see that she has powers and can do thiings that they have never seen before, she will give to the kids and the adults some really nice and songfull adventures with some pretty teachings. Directed by Robert Stevenson, written by Bill Walsh and Don DaGradi and produced by Walt Disney. There is in this movie a interesting world building, a fantastic world in some ways, there is, of course, the normal England life, where the family works and take of the children, there is our world there, like Harry Potter, that clearly have somethings that was inspired from this story, there is another thing happening in the world that almost anyone knows about. There is a admiral with a sailor in a ship at a top of a house, and from there he monitor everyone and tell people what is going on in the neighborhood screaming around, this is so nice, it doesn't really have a big thing in the story, but it is so funny because he actually acts and it is stereotyped like he is a true admiral there, watching for dangerous and situations, it is so fun. Before talking about the Mary Poppins character, another nice building that the movie have done is that making clear that she was a nanny of other children, children that are already grown, at least this is how i did interpreted it, like other people already knew her and knew how things was with her. The character of Mary Poppins is fantastic, she is so mysterious, fun and a delight person, she is also strong with the kids in words. Her powers are also very interesting, like some really simple and fun tricks, and another thing that Harry Potter was inspired by this, is Mary Poppins handbag, where she just takes from there a lot of things that obviously won't fit in a small bag, that was so fun watch the kids trying to figure out what was going on, and even more fun than that was the measuring tape that said how the person is. You neve got to know what she really is, but that is so fantastic because she even says "i neve explain myself", because it don't really matter, it isn't why this is about. There are a few things that i think it could have been better done in this movie, wich is the fact, that the home that Mary Poppins ends up, isn't really a home with a disfunctional familly with a lot of problems, the father gets home singing in his first show up, so as the mother, her effect would have been better noticed in a home where things had a real struggle. There are some sequences that i didn't really felt, one or two moments that got me out of the story, but nothing that make the movie less magic. The fact that one of the places that they went in this movie, is inside of paintings made by Bert is awesome, because, you see, those paintings we can say that are from Bert's imagination, because that's from where comes all the things that are made, right ? So they literallty just jump inside of a dream, and when they got there, there are all cartoon, 2d animation, and that is just amazing, those 2d animation journeys always got me like a dream, and in here, when they mix up that, it is literally, they jumping into one and it is really magic, in a moment referencing Charlie Chaplin by the way. The musics in this movie are, pretty much, all very nice, some are really great and very creative, one thing that i believe gives it a lot of value, is that all the songs were made for the film, it isn't really a remake from another band that had this songs, they were made for this and that is awesome. The songs are so happy and sweet with the great voice by the actors, they are both so happy and they exude happiness all the time, the movie ends with you thinking that they are your friends already, waiting for the next meeting. The dance sections are also so fun, the dancing movies are so simply in a way that we can do to, specially in the cartoon moment, that was fun and sweet in this aspect as well. This movie is, for sure, very ludic, but you can notice a lot of adults talks in there as well, mainly when it is towards the end the situation with the father, that apparentely doesn't really know how to be a good one, his dialogues with the character of Bert, are really good and very deep, saying how it is supposed the relationship in the father perspective, time flies. Julie Andrews is fantastic, she is charming, serious, commander and very inspiring, she does have a lovely voice and a very nice spirit to dance. **** Van Dyke is a man that is simply amazing, you end the movie wanting him to be your friend, he is so happy and simple, living the time of his life.

La Pianiste A piano teacher that works in a conservatory, still lives with her mother even with her advanced age and is heavily repressed by the mom, she tries to escape of that repression in different ways, and when one of her students start to fall in love for her, she sees one possibility to change things, wich is full of surprises. Directed and written by Michael Haneke. This movie is really heavy and disturbing in many ways, ant it doesn't try to hide it in any way, it doesn't try to camouflage it and calmly deliver the story in the way that it is supposed to be, like other movies do, in La Paniste, since the very beginning from the movie we can already have a nice image of how things gonna go, and it is troublesome in a familiar way and in a psychologically that automatically ends up affecting physically as well, this is definely not for everybody, it is a rough journey. The narrative is, yes, calmly giving away the level of the disturbing, so you know since the beginning that it isn't a convetional movie, but it easily give to us how much of it is in here, and a little by a little we got surprises by how much affected the mind of the character really is and how she deal with it, inch by inch things got a little darker, as soon as you start to see how does the character of Erika deal with some situations, where does she go, and what she do, things can get even creepy, she went to sex shops and porn cinemas, or wathever that was, doing things that is sad, simply sad and strane at least. While things get on and you see what kind of relationship she wants, you kind of get as surprise as the character, and his reaction is disappointment, and how he deal with this is just horrible, and things, that already was been very graphics, got even more, and maybe, just maybe, a bit to much. They were pretty good in showing how desperate she was, the development of her character is great, you see the sadomasochism in action with her, and also the necessity and ampare, where she would do anything for someone that says that love her, because she needs to escape. I think that this movie is important for us to notice how inconceivable mind situations can be and reach, i think that it got pretty obvious in the movie that the way that her mother controls her in everything, a thing that probably happens since forever, is what have caused the disturbances in Erika mind, someone that get controlled and disrespected during her whole life by some terrible ways will surely get situations in the brain where it will hurt and suffer a lot, the mother controlling what she dresses, what time she goes to where, screaming and attacking, Erika surely feels tied in by that house and that woman, her mind is painful and very noisy, wich is why i believe that she have chosen the career of a musician, because when you are hearing loud things, the voices that comes and goes in the mind got a bit muffled, so it is easier to relax and in concentrate in something else. This together with the pain in the body, a lot of people cut themselves, so as the character of Erika that sometimes during the course of the movie hurt herself physically, this happens clearly for the same reason, for the pain in the skin and in the flesh be so big for then, somehow, hide the pain in the mind, because she is already tired of it and can't stand living with it the whole time. All of this happens without people in her day to day life notice anything, there are just emotion situation that you can get from her, wich would be, angry and perhaps a bit of antipathy, together with all of it was already said, all caused by the situation in her home. Isabelle Huppert is amazing, she can express so much with so little, she in a lot of moments don't really need to speak to say something, i think she was able to pass that idea of traumatized with her eyes, and small expressions, like a pokerface with a background full of sad things, in other moments that she actually talk, she can be emotional less with other people, not giving empathy to others, or really bossy, saying things that you actually believe, or in other moments a regret that you can say that it is a bit exaggerated, but it is intentional, because in her mind that was all of what could "free" her, she was fantastic and scary. Benoît Magimel at first is just a boy who likes and play well paino, yet he starts to be very charming with Erika, very dominated by her, and then he became something completely out of mind, he is scary and nasty in a not predictable way, he was also very good. Annie Girardot can be also very scary and mean, so as at the same time, kind of caring, it is complex. The music and the mise-en-scène in this movie is just fabulous, things are so well putted to give an alive and complete aspect to each place. A movie that surely runs out from the standard movies that we have seen.

A group of students that have committed school infractions during the week, ended up in detention in a saturday and do a essay about what they think of themselves, they don't really know each other at that point, at first they are completely different from one to another and don't really seem that they match between each one, there were Andrew, the sportsman, Claire, a preppy, Allison, a weird girl, Brian, the nerd and finally Bender, the rebel one. During the course of the day they got to know a bit more the others, and surely a lot more about themselves. Directed and written by John Hughes. The story in here won in it's simplicity to approach complex themes, well, before anything else, the subtleties that are presents in this movie are fantastic, how they just make you know every character in here, almost equally and in different ways, it was so creative but at the same time so easy. It is just impossible to not relate with pretty much everything in this movie, every single teenager that are in this movie you most likely know people from school or even college that are just like them, and surely you will identify yourself in one of them, or a bit of you in all of them possibly, it is characteristics that i have had in almost every class that i have been during my life, the most different people, and a lot of them i didn't really knew what was going on in their lifes or how were they relationship with families and things that they might be going throught, and this movie did showed me that we had much in common that i expected, that bad people had a reason to be like that in school, not everybody is what it looks like, and surely not only what it looks like, no one is just black or white in a psych meaning, everybody have a lot of shades, and the way that this story exemplifies this, isn't just clear made in a movie perspection, but it helps us to change our minds in other people. Inchmeal that the story progresses we got to know more about them next to the same, so in first we have the same vision together as the characters, we only know things superficially, and inch by inch, with the strong and powerful dialogues that we have we got know more about them, and definely understand things way more clearly, during this process the reason that it is so important for us, is because we can see how are issues that doesn't matter if you are rich or poor, strong or weak, things happen to everybody. One of the main situations that is approached by this story, is how parents and adults can be destructive, how bad parents could be to children and how they would, and are, affected by things that parents do, you hear by each one of them, and definely everybody have had moments with this during our lifes, some could be exaggerated and some don't, but the true is that things like this go through the head of everyone at some point. It is great how the characters had the others back, even if they don't really rock with them, the interaction between them are so great, and at the same time very real, are things that i did or i could see happening. Another strong thing that it is very common between the adolescence, is that how necessary it is to be inside **** and get accepted by that, the film talks about it and exemplify how suffering that could be, the fear of not being accepted and the needed to be part of something, and how bad can be the necessity to stay there, even when you gotta do things that you don't really wants to. They also put how easy it is to regret of something, do something to impress someone or something like that, but when you actually get to know how bad it was, or seing in the other side, seing things from other perspective, that was really nice. Judd Nelson was phenomenal in here, he could first give that student that apparently don't really care about anything, and then he gave him layers, he is sarcastic, funny, scrotum and have his manneirsms, he is authentic and can finally, after that all, give that image of sadness. Molly Ringwald could gave that pretty and rich girl aspect, and had some nice dialogues where she put her emotions out well. Ally Sheedy was really nice in here, without speaking much, she was myterious and had some really peculiar moments while she did strange things, you got interested to know more about her during the whole movie. Emilio Estevez did a nice job as well, he was strong and convinced me in his regret moments. Anthony Michael Hall is also really good, he could pass that innocence and vulnerability, so as his sadness and trouble with the personal life. It does have some problems, like some cuts feel so unnatural, there are somethings that was disruptive, moments that were from emotional from a completely different thing with no working, but that is a small thing compared to the whole thing.

What an experience that ending was, huh ? Telling the story of the creation of one of the best bands of all time, Queen, from the point of view of Freddie Mercury, facing the difficulties of lack of trust of others and needing the cretivity to develop songs and clips. With time they will need to face the lack of stability of Freddie and find a way to deal with sucess and disagreement. Directed by Bryan Singer and Dexter Fletcher, written by Anthony McCarten. This movie provided me one of the most unforgettable experiences in a movie theater that i have had in my life, i'm gonna jump right at the ending, where it happens the Live Aid show at the Wembley Stadium, they reproduced almost the whole show at the movie and i gotta say that it was fantastic, one because of how great Rami Malek portrayed Freeddie Mercury, his gestures and grimace was done with maestry, you can watch the real show and then the movie to see how carefully they did it, reminding of details and small things that happened in that day, and two, i was born after the Freddie death, the movie together to my session in the theater made me have the most close sensation to be in a Queen show in my life, it was phenomenal how Rami was able to make the audience go on into the show, the crowd start singing together with the film, clapping together with the audience from the movie, that was an memorable experience for probably everyone in that session. I gotta say that this ain't no perfect movie, the script does have some flaws, that doesn't compromise it all but it is needed to be mentioned, the structure of the story is very familiar, a ascension from below, than a situation that makes it go down and then an final rise, it isn't innovating and don't present anything new or different in this construction. The script goes in some loop after some moment, where they compose a song, or make a instrumental and then it got cutted into a montage of they playing it in shows and behind the scenes, it is nice because it is queen and the songs are fantastic, but from a narrative point, it is repetitive. The way that they explored Freddie personality was good, i think it was less with words and more with attitudes, showing how he had up and downs, sometimes being kind and generous, in others arrogant and lost, i think they did a good job in here, it could have been better, they could have switch more moments from music montages into this, but still, they didn't forgot about this. The montage of the music being made were mostly really nice, the making up of Bohemian Rhapsody for me was a lot of fun, funny, connecting us to the movie, the subtlety into some moments just made the movie musically, the We Will Rock You one as well was really nice and easy to make you connect with all that, there were some others that wasn't really interesting to see again, but for sure was a point to add for make it right to the queen list. Beyond Rami Malek with his great performance, with his maneirisms and subtleties in gesture, way of talk, and some really good monologues with a touch of different emotions and light, we have Gwilym Lee as Brian May, he do a great job, he convinces and looks so much with the original Brian May that it is funny. Ben Hardy giving a lot of personality to Roger Taylor. Lucy Boynton as Mary Austin, she did a very nice job, she was delightful at first, and she totally convinces in her sadness or believing into something, and even in a possibly fear. Mike Myers and Aidan Gillen are also in this movie, and they are very functional, both did a nice job. I think this movie approaches in a good way the depression, it is like that Jim Carrey quote "I wish that everybody had fame and money for them to see that this isn't the asnwer" i'm not sure if it is exactly like that, but even after Freddie got all that money and all that fame, he still nedeed to give his partys to a bunch of people that he don't even know, doing that most likely just to feel something, i could feel the lost in some of those moments in the movie. I think they did have approached the sexuality of Mercury in a wholesome way, i don't know exactly how the story goes, but in here it was natural, it was simple and good, they did it with calm, a little by a little. This movies ended up being more a tribute to the band and it's great music than anything else, but considering this, they did a very good job, i agree that they could have explore different aspects, involve more mental subjects in the script and morals, but in here they did a good job with what they intended to.

When it is Donald Duck birthday, his birds friends from around the world sent him some presents, presents that will make Donald have some experiences in the home country of his friends, wich would be Brazil, with Zé Carioca and Mexico, with Panchito. The movie is produced by Walt Disney himself, directed by Norman Ferguson, Clyde Geronimi, Jack Kinney, Bill Roberts and Harold Young. Written by Homer Brightmen, Ernest Terrazas, Ted Sears, Bill Peet, Ralph Wright, Elmer Plummer, Roy Williams, William Cottrell, Del Connell and James Bodrero. According to which present Donald Duck opens, he get into some adventure in other country culture, so is nice how he recieves a book, for example, and then when he opens it he can get inside of that and live that place, it is a very nice teaching, and it is real, if you read a book you can totally immerse into that story, the same happens with the film projector. The story introduces some characters into it in a very fun way, there a lot of small tales told in it, that i gotta say that sometimes they were more fun then than the actual big plot with the main characters in here. The main plot is more than anything about meeting a bit of the culture in Brazil and Mexico, and it get more than anything in a music kind of way, at the beginning it was going nice and being fun, but it got so repetitive, that for me, it was boring at the point that took me completed out of the movie, i wasn't focusing anymore in anything in the film, it was every time like Donald getting in somewhere with a lot of women and he falling in love for them, flirting with them, at the beginning it was being fun, but as a long film, that got boring, this kind of film works better as a episodic show, wich is where those characters and this kind of program makes more sucess. The musics of the movie are mostly fun, the mixing of nacionality and languages with accent made things a lot of fun, some songs that stuck in the head, like the Bahia one, that was great. The movie overall is very funny, there are some things during the movie that really got me laughing, simple things wich makes thing even nicier, some characters that almos never showed up, but just for the fact of the nonsense, wich is very characteristic of these movies, are a lot of fun, is to bad that the movie kind of lost it during the course of the movie, at the half things was going pretty nice, after it got boring. The colors of the movie are beautiful, it completely owns that aspect of surrealism, colors jumping at you with images of things out of place, a lot of colors shining in the screen, i like that, the clips of music was really creative and fun. I have never been a big fan of cartoon mixed with live action movies, i don't personally dislike it, but i definely don't feel much pleasure in watching it, i don't feel that shock that was supose to, where the real life get in contact with the fantastic one, i like the idea, but i didn't liked how it gets, but still it is connected to that other moment in the movie where they say that if you read a book or watch a movie you pretty much get inside of that universe, that pleases me a lot. The characters are great, the best one, by far, is Zé Carioca, as a brazilian i gotta say that his accent in the movie speaking english is perfect, it is great and funny as hell to listen to him, he is charming and very stylish, and dubbed with maestry. Donald Duck in other hand i didn't felt much cool, i couldn't understand a world, i found fun the way that he speak, but i gotta understand, the same voice actor did the voice of him in other languages beyond english, i didn't like it. Panchito was also very nice, his maneirisms was different, and his characteristics were cool, he gave some different spirit to the movie. The movie is fun until some point, but the overall of stories being told in here didn't pleased me mcuh, the second half of the movie wasn't pleasing, it got boring, i liked the nonsense in a lot of moments throught the movie, the simplicity in telling a crazy story worked, and i believe that the main point in here was to tell a bit of other cultures, wich kind of worked.

Danny Zuko, a cool guy with a reputation to keep, and Sandy Olsson, a correct girl that plays nice with life, have met on the beach during their vacations of school, they spend a whole day there and became very in love with eachother, after the day is out Sandy supposedly goes back to Australia, where she is from, and Danny will go to the local school for one last semester. The thing is that they end in the same school, and when they meet again she notices that he isn't the same person anymore, and he don't want to go into a different stereotype for keeping impressing his friends. Directed by Randal Kleiser and based on Grease by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey. This movie is about adolescence and loving relationships, it did a very nice and fun job showing how they both, in a very stereotyped way, would deal with the teen love, showing both sides on how they did speak about that to the boy with his boy friends, and the girl with her girl friends, the boy being the most maleficent and pushing everything to the most exaggerated as possible, while the girl is the most conservative as possible. The story not necessary is giving good examples to follow in here, like people making fun of the virginity of some character, or only making her that cool when she is dressing something dirty or smoking, but yeah, 70s. They did a good job on putting the songs in context, you can clear see in some moments that they aren't really singing in the scene, this could took you out of the movie, but generally it wasn't that much of a problem. The characters are very stereotyped, you have the group of boys that are bad boys and pretend to be the most bad asses as they can, you have the big nerd that one likes, the truly bad boy with a scar in his face, the group of girls that gossip about stuff. There are some moments that you can really relate of what did happened during the school, in others the characters could be so annoying that you just want the scene to go on. The movie is very funny, they could pic the necessity of the boys to try to be bad asses and they could turn that into a lot of very good moments of jokes, the movie overall is funny. How they used the mannerisms of the characters, in special Danny's, to make jokes was great, like how he walks or how he always have a hair comb to brush his hair, that was so on point. It is good that each character have their particular characteristics and personalities, it helps in we believing that they exist and in we caring for them, we quicly learn how they are, and get them, in the girls group this happens fast with pretty much all of them, in the boys one, some are a bit aside. The giant thing about this movie, what makes this so great and classic, is surely the songs and the choreography, it is simply amazing this combination. The songs for the film are all made by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, that had Broadway performances, in here the all actors, really all of them, have done such **** singing job, they all had good vocals wich was essential to make those songs permanent in our heads. The coreography in general for the scenes, don't happen in all the clips, but in the ones that it does happen are very well done, the synchrony aren't necessary perfect, but it feels so natural, so simple and so happy that it definely can contagious, and the single dances moves, specially made by John Travolta are just fantastic, it is impossible to watch that and don't go all the way for repeating, his dance feels a lot different, is like things that anyone can do, and that is fantastic. This songs really have made me dance some movies and smile a lot, those clips are definely holding up for forever, because they are great. The movie have some fantasy aspects, that i'm not sure how it does applies in the movie, but it get all together with the story, showing what could possibly be dreams for their lifes. The montage is very nice, some moments we get smart transitions, in other nice sequences without cuts, some pretty shots are done in here. John Travolta did a great job while singing, a incredible in dancing, but a not so good in acting, during dramatic moments mostly, he was funny, but in dramatic parts he didn't convinced me at all. Olivia Newton-John is also a great singer and dancer, during some parts she was just a delight to watch. Stockard Channing plays a grouch girl, in other times very risky, her mannerisms was also pretty interesting, and again a very good singer. All the characters are supossed to be teenagers at school, but all the actors are way older than that and you can easily notice this. This movie is fantastic because of his spirit, it completely made me want to shake my body after watching it with dances and songs completely unforgettable.

After the passing away of Donna, Sophie, her daughter, tries to leverage the local place where they lived their entire lives, so she could make her mom proud once again. At the same time that Sophie go struggling in present time, we see Donna's young adult life, how she met all of the Sophie's fathers and her relationship with them, we see a lot of Donna adventures with her friends and love, so as her disappointments. Directed and Written by OL Parker. We accompany two stories in two different times in parallel, present and past, these transitions normally worked out well, but there were some few times that it didn't felt much naturally between those two times. The story of Donna is very nice told in here, since the moment that she graduated the movie made it clear what she thought about the world and how she wanted her life to be like, during her relationship with other characters we can get to know her a little bit more each time, how kind she is and what she sees around things, they did a good job in evolving the character that we already know, or better building up to that one that Meryl did 10 years ago. The story of Sophie also works, it just isn't so interesting as Donna, but like they are mixing with the time, the thing about her moments is also a lot about the parents, wich was definely fun, how they hold up with their lifes is a interesting moment, there are some drama moments that i don't think that it worked in the best way, but mostly it was good. The story brings discussions about maternity, how big is the connection with a mother even after a death, it did got some emotional moments where it did speak a lot. A lot of the movie could be taken out into clips of music, like more than 50 per cent of it, it could be cutted out and be watched just by itself, and i gotta say that must of these clips are great, like damn, really great, some of these are so fun that can easily put your spirit up, some of these clips are completely fun, a completely delight to watch, not necessary are the most creatives ever, but the happiness that you see in the face of every single one that are in those dancing and singing moments are contagious. Lily James singing is fantastic, she is a great singer, everybody that got the shot to do some singing moments did a good job, the songs aren't original for the movie, bu they are very good, the creativity aren't very big in most of the clips, but they still pumped my spirit up, so it was good. The dancing sequences was a lot of fun and much of it because how much it did contagious me and how much different people was there, there were all kind of people there together and having fun, that was fantastic. Lily James singing is fantastic, i'm glad that they are keeping her in those movies that requires that her character to sing, she as a singer really heat's my heart, in the acting part she is also very good, she could pass me the suffering in some moments, or the strange parts that she didn't knew what was happening as well, physically she is great, wich was nice in the dancing moments wich happened a lot with her, where she did a great job not just in the singing part, but also working with her expressions while doing it so together with the dance, she was fantastic. Amanda Seyfried had some really good emotional moments. Christine Baranski and Julie Walters are still very fun and a very nice duo with chemistry, so as the actresses that portray the younger verse of them, wich are Jessica Keenan Wynn and Alexa Davies, they did a very nice job and i completely bought that they were the same person. The 3 fathers so as they younger selves was also very nice, all of them did a good job, they were all fun and all sang well. This movie fixed one problem that it had in the 2008 one, wich is the filter, that yellow and ugly filter is gone, and now we have a beutiful cinematography to see the island and the colors in a much better way. There were some sequences where the green screen was easily noticiable. This one is definely better than the first one, it is so fun that will bring your spirit up, playing the songs from ABBA with some good moves and a very nice singing, there are some moments that are boring, some unnecessary telling, but overall it is a lot of fun.

This movie takes place exactly after the final events from the last movie in 1978, from now on, Michael Myers will hardly focus his killing hunger in Laurie Strode, while she go to a hospital because of her fight with Michael in the frist movie, a big blody chase will happen in that hospital. Directed by Rick Rosenthal and Written by John Carpenter and Debra Hill. In the first movie the story was good because it was functional in making we care about the characters, in this sequel, we don't really care more about any other character, we still care about Laurie, but only because of what we saw in the first one, if you only watch this one, most likely won't care about anyone, but considering that this is a sequel, that is not a problem, we still gonna care about Laurie, and maybe care more about other characters that are in here again, but in overall with other characters, we don't really give a damn, wich is a problem, in the first movie i did cared about other characters, like Laurie's friends, in here it didn't had that appeal, so a lot of the deaths weren't very shocking. The movie have some dialogues that aren't really interesting, but still, it doesn't dominates the whole film, there are some natural dialogues that people would really do. They decided to do some revelations in here that for me, was kind of out of place, it was like nothing to do with anything, it is a spoiler, but i don't that, that worked out. In this story they decide to go for Michael Myers in a more mystical way, going more for a supernatural path, that, for me, immediately takes away the fear a bit, it made things not so easy to relate and fear as in the first one, but considering the way that they are going in here, it was ok. The Michael Myers look in here, is a bit different, in his mask now, you can see his eyes most of the time, personally, i prefer how they did in the first movie, where in his eyes in the mask, it was all black, but i get it, it is a small change for things not look the same, is a good change after all. The kills are good, not great, but good, comparing to the first movie, Myers have a more diversified storage, he use now different weapons to hit his victims, there are also scenario things that he use wich was different, he also is a stalker, but not by far so creep as in the other movie, where you could not just feel the despair and also relate yourself with that situation, in here, since that you are in a hospital, the stalker thing got a little weaker, but still worked a bit. This movie isn't even by far as scary as his predecessor, i didn't had much moments during this one that i felt unsafe or creeped out, they couldn't repeat that atmosphere where anything could come out of anywhere in any moment, you pretty much knew where things was going to happen, it didn't had much surprises in his attacks, there is some jump scares, some tense moments, but still, it ain't by far as scary as the 1978 one. The movie becomes really good when the one on one moments start once again with Laurie and Michael, the persecution was tense, how broken she was after the events that already have happened, her will to escape from him was really nice to watch, while Myers quietly was walking behind of her. These moments were so dope, that reforced how badass the character of Laurie Strode is, she running around, in a very weak position, in unknown territory, that was really nice to watch. Jamie Lee Curtis was definely badass, she didn't had much dialogues, but where she gain me again in this movie, was at the moments where she figures that Michael is there after here, her faces of rage or fear was very nice. Donald Pleasence as Dr. Loomis was once again very good, i could get his affliction on Myers, his need to caught him and also how feared he was of him at the same time. The soundtrack is once again made by John Carpenter, and it is once again fantastic, it isn't the exact same as the others, it does have some peculiarities that are very nicely done, the soundtrack in here really pumped me up, it was done, once again, with maestry. As a slasher movie this definely worked, it ain't that much of a horror or a tense film, but it can be fun to watch the one on one between Laurie Strode and Michael Myers.

After the events of 1978, when Michael Myers killed a lot of people and almost slay Laurie Strode, he got arrested and once again was sent to a asylum, wich he was keeped there, apparently for the next 40 years. During these 40 years, the other side of the event, Laurie Strode tried to go on with her life, marrying and having children, but always looking foward in her life for a possible reencounter, so she train and also trained her daughter for a possible situation. After a bus crash, Michael escape and start his slaughter once again, making possible a confrontation with Laurie. Directed and written by David Gordon Green and also written by Jeff Fradley and Danny McBride. The storytelling did a good job in first introduce the new characters and make very clear who they are and what they think about the old events, how the trauma of Laurie did affected her later on in her life, they made this aspects very clear wich was important, you really feel that the movie of 78 is also living in here. One thing that it was very important that they build for this movie to work, is that for us to care about the characters, wich indeed happened, first i already did cared for Laurie Strode, and the situations that they placed here did me care for some other persons around the movie, of course there are some people that we just wanted to see smashed by Meyers, by there is a concern aspect in our part for the characters, they build it with dialogues and letting we feel the family. One thing that i didn't liked very much, is the fact that the movie have a more laid back moments, there are some jokes out of time that really took out the tense of some moments. There are some moments of party and relationship with teenage drama that is completely displayed in this movie, that was so anticlimatic, in the original also had these, but they didn't wasted time in showing that, just mentioning. There is some small conversations about how the killer can influence the victim and how the victim influence the killer, they did talked a bit about the psyche of the assassin and the victim. This helps to define the personality of Laurie. The movie isn't as scary as the original, that is for sure, but still, it does have some tense moments that are very deserving to be mentioned. The persecution in the streets of haddonfield are very well done, you can feel the despair of being hunted by Myers, there are scenes inside of houses that you just don't where he is that was very scary and tense. During the last run of the movie all of happens is a full show, they completely nailed it, the whole final sequence is great, scary, badass and even emotional. The kills in this movie are also very creative, some of them mixing moments of fear with badass situation for Myers, it is nasty and gore in some parts, you can see how Myers is still very badass, there are scenes that he is hiding in the shadows stalking just as he likes to, there are different weapons that he uses and differents methods. Jamie Lee Curtis did a show in this movie, for me she could completely keep the essence of her character, and still put another layer on her, i completely bought the trauma that she put on her, there are some emotional moments and some desespere moments, she did a great job, so on the concern with the others together with the hate, i found her, once again, great. Judy Greer plays the daughter of Laurie, she did a nice job, you could tell that she wanted to protect her children and had a different way to see things than her mother, in moments of action she was a badass as well in a certain moment. Andi Matichak played the grand daugther of Laurie, she is a teenager that tries to understand and put her grandma in the social with them once again, she was nice. Haluk Bilginer plays a crazy doctor, he did a nice job, he convinced me in his blindness in not seeing what he had to. The movie cinematography was very good, the movie used references from the original movie, where we had shots of Michael doing something or just standing in somewhere, and in this one we have very similar shots, but with another one, doing or standing in the same way, implying that the hunter has now changed sides, and that was just beautiful to watch. There are some sequences without cuts that are just gorgeousl filmed, it was great. The soundtrack of this was made by John Carpenter once again, and it is fantastic. He keeped the gentle sounding of the original, but it did had some epicness imput on that, in other moments it was just the classic, like i felt that i was watching the one from 78 once again, that was great. He also created some new themes, the new tracks are fabulous, inspiring, scary and full of adrenaline, i loved the soundtrack in here.

After seeing how the world is and coming to a conclusion that it is having a big problem with health and the society in general, a company named "Life Foundation" decide to take the resesrchers beyond the earth, trying to get some big discoveries and develop somehow our planet, during one of these expeditions they find around the space a some symbionts that need a host to express themselves in our world, at leats. Eddie Brock is a reporter tha likes to make questions that people don't like to answer, after some sequence of events one of those symbionts named Venom, ends up in his body and they start a strange adventure. Directed by Ruben Fleischer and written by Scott Rosenberg, Jeff Pinkner, Kelly Marcel and Will Beall. This movie started pretty well, they introduce Eddie, so as Annie in a way that you got to know both of them, at least enough, to we get to care for them and know what is going on in both of their lives. They did exemplified the work that Eddie did, showing some flashes of other jobs. The biggest problem with the story of this movie, is that they didn't presented the problem until the 3rd act, it felt like they didn't had anything to do until that point of the movie, and suddently someone that was making the movie said "damn, make this monster want to destroy the world now for no reason at all", it is this bad, it is that cliche situation that the villain simply wants to destroy the word just for the sake of it, the movie was being fun and stuff, just without a purpose, it was going in one direction and suddently became another, apparently just to have bigger and explosives action scenes. Action scenes that i liked it, the power of Venom is pretty nice to watch, they did some nice moments with him, a lot of adrenaline in this movie, just the fight among the symbionts in some moments didn't worked out, in some moments you just couldn't understand what was going on, but in general it was a lot of fun. The story does have one big plot twist for the character of Venom, that for me it didn't worked out at all, it was completely unnatural, for one moment to the other things completely change and not with a reasonable reason, it was like a click, in a matter of fact, the situation was more for that not happen, that didn't made much sense for me. Riot journey during this movie was bad, the lack of explanation in this movie really make things worst, things come out of nowhere and apparentely knowing everything. One thing that i found ridiculous, is that people are seeing something unbelievable for the first time, and they react to that like if it was something simple, it is so nonsense, people seeing a giantic monster for the first time and they act like it is just some car accident. There are some dialogues in this movie that was just sad. Probably the biggest hit in this movie is the interaction between Eddie and Venom, it was good, it was definely very fun they talking to eachother. Visually i really liked this movie, Venom cgi was very good, how he looks is dope and scary in a determined point of view, i think that they did got it right, the eyes, tongue and muscular grandiosity, that all combined with his voice, that is a 100% for me, it was great. There are some moments that Venom "skin", is bothered with something and it started moving, it is visually nice as well. Tom Hardy did had some nice touches in this movie, he did a character that feel not very secure and use different tons of voice, he was definely funny, and in some moments a bit exaggerated during some moments in a way that wasn't pleasing anymore. Michelle Williams is here, she does convince in what she do, she feel concerned about Eddie and want to help, she have a confident way to look and say. Riz Ahmed portrays a cliche villain, that is just evil and think, or pretend, that he is helping the whole world, his acting is full of those faces and quotes, i don't think he did a bad job, just wasn't the best character. Jenny Slate is fun, everytime that she spoke was definely a nice momen, like some sort of relief. The soundtrack of this movie is very nice, it is a subtle beat in some moments that it is definely very pleasant, and in other it gets into some agitated action thing, that it did combined with what was happening. Venom is a very fun movie, the characters are nice, the action is fun and the movie is also very funny, but the story is a mess, but i definely did had a nice fun watching.

A group of friends decide, in a house of one of them during the night, to summon the slender man starting of a link on the internet, and some time after that they start to have nightmares, seeing things in the woods and after a bit sometime one of them disappear without any clue of what happened, then the friends go and do their own investigations to find out what could have happened. Directed by Sylvain White and written by David Birke. The story of this movie is very simple and cliche, it just don't have or increment any new thing in this kind of movie, even the prologue of everything is cliche and a bit ridiculous if you think a bit about it, like, they watch a video in some website and close their eyes, them they are cursed, this is so little creative and repetitive in movies like this. There are some moments that the characters do some dumb thigs, they make pretty clear that they can't uncover their eyes in one moments and see SlenderMan or they are going to be mentally destroyed somehow, and after 10 seconds one of the characters does this exact thing and one second later all of them with the same thing. The movie try to give some possible ways to combat the monsterm, but it is so weak the way that they did it, one of them get to one place to take something, them she takes it and it got mentioned one other time, but it does have zero influence during the course of the movie, it didn't made any sense. The conclusion of the story is also pretty down, like characters saying one thing and doing another, it got so slow in a point that it didn't even scare you anymore, this a high problem in this movie, the script could have been a bit better done and creative. Another big problem in this movie, is that, that the characters aren't much relatable in a way that you would care and cheer for them, there isn't much development for them, and the little bit that happend it didn't really implies in you caring for them, cosidering that this movie is about people in dangerous and not about the monster, they had to make we care for them to this work better, unfortunately it didn't worked out in this way. The sound of the movie are great, for real, they are done with maestry, there are a lot of moemnts during the movie that i got scared, and it was very thanks to the sound design here, it is very similar to sound that happened in the game from years ago, a very strange and messy thing, wich did represented in sound the creepy and crazy creature very well, the sound in the forest, the details that they did applied in the audio section, made this movie be scary. One thing that they did here and it gave us very nice moments, is the suggestiveness, in a lot of moments you see a shadow or a tree, and you be like that it could be that or not, it is good, letting our mind work to see something or not, that did happened a lot witht the characters to, just that in some moments it was very ridiculous, but mainly at the start of the movie, it did worked out very well. The acting is not the best neither the worst. Joey King did a very nice character, the problem is that she didn't had any development, the little that i cared about her, it was because of the actress. Julia Goldani had a bit more emotional moment, i think that she did well in some moments, but mostly of the movie she had a poker face that didn't pleased me very much. Jaz Sinclair also had the most cliche faces during some moments, unfortunately she didn't had much time to work or room to do different things. The CGI is awful here, like it is the worst 10 million dollar budget cgi ever, they did turned the light out of the movie in a lot of moments, wich could have been good to hide the bad cgi, but even with that, the cgi is so exposed and so bad and fake that when they show him, the fear kind of go away, because it is so fake, the creature naturally have a strange form and could scare people easily, but the did invented somethings here with the trees that just didn't worked for me. The movie was working better when the thing was being more of a mental situation, but when they decide to show and interact with the monster physically, things stop working.

During the Cold War, there was the called "Space Race", wich was a race for technological and a symbolic superiority over the Soviet Union, and this race about technology was pretty much all about reaching the space, they started with satellites and probes, once that the USSR were in front during the beginning of the race, the USA decided to do something very daring, wich is send the man to the Moon for the first time, and one of the astronauts that did it, is the leading character in this movie, wich is Neil Armstrong. Neil Armstrong had a lot of troubles during his paternity and passing through several traumas, and in his professional he was always the most possible hardworking guy, so as the whole NASA, the failures and achieves that happened before the tough round trip to the Moon. Directed by Damien Chazelle and Written by Josh Singer. While people are telling stories in movies or books, about things that actually happened, mostly of it will surely be true and have a lot of documented materials in it, but still there is a small margin for fiction as well, because you can't tell everything that happened during the course of the events, so in this, they do have friends and family of the true characters and by that they can take the most realistic and possible reaction in the script, i think that they were very successfulyy in this aspect. The story is told in a very calm way, telling a few details with it's time, this is more than anything, a story about the carreer and personal life of Neil Armstrong, seeing this, they did a good job in showing Neil traumas and difficulties inside his family because of what had happened to his daughter, they could show me in the story how much did he was concerned with her, i believed in what i was seeing, and i was caring about all of that, inside of his house and in his personal life, i completely bought every thing that was going on, the up and downs that was very well positioned and justified. During his job in NASA, i think that they did showed very well how hard that was, how many time did it tooked and how many failures they did had before achieving the goal, even that the story is a bit slow, i think that it was very according. They did good in showing how the people were seeing all of that effort, how some of them did not liked how the money was being spent. The interaction between the characters is also worthy to be mentioned here, Neil personality is very intro, while his friends and family was the contrary, so they had a contrast of personalities that gave to the movie another layer. The movie can make me have thoughts, this is surely a story about overcoming as well, how many wrong things have happened to the good emerge, "we have to fail here, to not fail up there", that is just wonderful. The acting was very nice, Ryan Gosling could offer some very strong moments that could really reach me, moments of anghuis and helplessness, in a way that he couldn't really get anyone, in other moments his smile were so sincere that he did also convinced me of that, or even in other that his eyes got full dark, then i could see how angry or confuse he was, i just think that there are some moments that i couldn't feel much himself, like, when he finally arrives to the moon, he could, just maybe, have had more expressions, but in overall he was really good. Claire Foy did a very good job, mainly in the able of caring to the others, to her husband and primarily to his children, i truly believed in her words, or when she got mad or frustated. Corey Stoll was a bit of a counterpoint, he was very extrovert, so he did nice. The cinematography of the movie is great, first the camera being positioned in first person during some sequences, that is fantastic because we can go to what the character is seing and possibly feeling in the best possible way, that helped me to immerse in the movie during the most inconvenient moments. Another great thing about it, was in other times, not necessary being in first person, but letting the camera in the capsula where the astronauts were, so we didn't saw the whole rocket, we saw how they were, how suddently everything starts to swing and shake in a tremendous speed and very claustrophobic, they were very happy in this choice, it's great to see at their point. There also camera situations where you see the Earth from the space, The Moon from Earth and the Earth froom Moon, all of them are just deliciously splendid. The soundtrack is another phenomenal part in here, it not just illustrates the scene, but in some it makes it seems like an full art, when they mix the soundtrack and the cinematography it becomes an art of the most high level, it got beautiful, the sounds are a very classic rythim that worked out a lot in every single moment, it helped to got me hyped, in other moments to get me thoughtful, and in others just the lack of music was also a great moment to implicit something, something that don't needed any sound or track.

Han Solo and Qi'ra are, a couple, are living in a place that is corrupted by criminals and not having law at all, it is all ruled by dealers and the empire that is taking a bit for them, in order to leave that place and start a new life, they do some risky things to get that, at the very moment to escape something goes wrong and Qi'ra is maintained there. Han looking foward to get her back, he start working for the empire to get money and a ship to rescue here and during the events a lot of thing happen, and a lot of surprises are revealed with a group of thiefs that he ends up in. Directed by Ron Howard. Written by Jonathan Kasdan and Lawrence Kasdan. This movie first come to answer some questions that no one really asked, some characters that exist and we end up loving them, wich is the case of Darth Vader, when they did the prequels, they completely screwed the character in a way that mostly surely prefer to considered that those movies aren't part of the cronology, in this one they gave a origin of the criminal life of Han Solo, don't worry because it isn't nowhere close as what they did with Anakin in the prequels, but still, i'm not sure if i really wanted to know this story in the way that it was told, it felt rushed, feeling like almost everything that we know about the character happened in one week, the time passing in the movie isn't very well represented. The movie have one aspect that i don't like much anywhere, wich is the convenient coincidence, that one character needs one thing and is looking after that hardly, and suddenly he goes to one place and voilà, there it is, i don't always think that this kind of way to progress the story is lazy. The story overall, beyond those things, contains a bunch of little flaws, like a character that needs to go to a place, but he can't be reconized, so he sends a represented of his assemble, but the represented have a mark in his pulse that directly turns on to him, that was weak. Another weak point was on his name, like damn, considering what happened next on the movies, that didn't made any sense to me. A point at the story that didn't pleased me very much, was the careless about characters, some people die during the course of the movie, and you don't really care, like, they were pretty bad in making you care about most of the characters during this movie, even the main ones, you already know how they are going to end up, so it didn't really end up well in this point. But it ain't all bad, even with all of these problems, we gotta consider that this movie isn't supose to be as deep and emotional as the most others of the franchise, this one actually is more a 2 hour fun with not much depth, the story isn't the most cliche ever, it ain't new, it is more about heists, with plans and stuff, and that worked out very well for me, it was nice to see they assembling and having some plans. Some answers on how something end up in other movies in here was really nice, for me the chewbacca part was very nice, it was fun and surprising, because i didn't expected to him to show or teaming up like that, it was good. Somethings that we really wanted to see was the Kessel Run moment, that is referenced during the whole franchise, and for me it worked very well, it wasn't great to watch, but it was good, it get me to understand better how did that worked and what exactly happened in that circumstance. There are some plot twists in the movie, a bit of those worked, but it got so predictable, that at the same time got ridiculous that how the characters didn't knew by themselves what was going on. The action of the movie is at least functional, it doesn't have anything special, i didn't got impressed as i'm used to in the star wars movies, it is the basic "pew pew pew" and nothing much further than that. The spaceships and cars moments, in other hand, i really enjoyed, the pilot that Han is, i think it got well represented in here. Another action moments and characters interactions during the movie, for me, did saved it in a lot of moments. Alden Ehrenreich did a very good job, i gotta say, i got surprised in here, i really liked his impressions most of the time, he could get the mannerisms of Harrison Ford in the character, the little things, in the details, i thinks that it was really nice, there one or two moments that i didn't bought what was going on, but mostly, i think that he did good. Emilia Clarke work very well in romantic moments, in action moments i didn't got very convinced, and neither in her lies during the movie, i knew by far that she wasn't saying the true and got me shocked that the other characters didn't. Donald Glover did good, he convinced me better then anyone that he was the youngest version of that Lando Calrissian by Billy Dee Williams, he got the details very well, the trickery and the confidence was very well portraied. Paul Bettany did well for me, i villain that we don't know when is safe or not.

After a, apparently, tough divorce mother and daughter move to another city for restart and forget problems that were present in their regular lives before. The movie into a neighborhood that have one macabre event, a girl killed her parents with a hammer and have never being seen again until that very momment, a boy that, as they said, wich is the brother of the girl, he lived away in another city with his aunt, go back to that city and start living in the same house as the parents got killed, wich make a lot of people in the town despise and avoid him. Directed by Mark Tonderai. Written by David Loucka and Jonathan Mostow. The biggest problem with the story of this movie and the movie overall, is that it seems that it doesn't always know what it wants to be, it feels like the movie was meant to be an horror in his cern, but some times it just become a romance scholar movie, it does let you forget what you were watching before, sometimes it is a family relation thing, it simply keeps changing the style of the movie, for me this was a big flaw, it isn't a problem when the movie try to apply different subjects to have more themes approached, the problem is when it change completely the ambience and style of the movie to the point that it seems that it is another movie. Removing this points, the story is actually pretty interesting, i got engaged in what was happening and even curious about somethings that we had going on in that little town, it does have some plot twists, some you can see it coming, some you don't, it does offered you a bunch of points of view of the same story, and only by the end you got to know the true one, with a twist that i really didn't saw it coming. The movie have some events that felt so unrealistic in a way that bothered me for real, like, if there is someone that have been through a trauma, i don't see why almost everybody of a town would despise this person in such a extreme way, for me it was just ridiculous and completely out of the old and good verisimilitude. It also had some other situations that didn't felt right, like someone reaching a place running almost at the same time of someone in a car. When the movie jumps into a true horror, together with the revelations and stuff, it does got considerable better, i can't say that it didn't knew how to create an ambience of horror, it did and worked for me, i could get tense in some moments and it was pretty good, nothing original or innovative, but definely good. In some moments the charactres make a few choices that i considered really dumb or a bit to much, that also got me a little off the movie. The movie contains a bunch of jumpscares, and i gotta say that the first one may works, but all after that one, don't really. Some times the movie got to repetitive, and could be boring. In this movie we have Jennifer Lawrence, she did a good job, could pass some emotions pretty well mainly when it was about romatic moments, i could believe that she liked the boy, in surprise and horror moments i think she was just ok, she could have work a little better in her expressions. Max Thieriot was good, i think he had a a good performance here, he first convinced me a bit of something and then again of the other thing, wich i can't talk much about it because it is a full spoiler, i think it was good to make he didn't change much in voice or behavior, because that is pretty much how that is. Elisabeth Shue was good, she could make me believe that she was really concnerned in every moments, even that her characters pissed me off some times, she did a good job. The camera moviment in horror movies normally it is very important, it makes you not knowing what is happening around the place, or even makes you know something that not even the character does, and it helps in give you axiety during the scene, in this movie it does contain this aspect, but just a little bit, the cameras work here, they aren't excpetional, but definely functional. The cinematography overall, for me worked, even that the movie didn't explored it very much, the thing that having a forest that you can't see much beyond it, it is already a bit scared, having a camera in there watching the character also worked, sometimes it uses some positioning that for me were very sucessfull into the goal. There is one specific moment in a party, that the camera do a very strange and no sense thing, that comes back to that thing that i said about the movie not knowing what it wants to be.

Everybody have friends during high school, people that end up have some relationship with, a more shy person, a prankster and the most varied kind of people in the class, it is also pretty normal to have a meeting of the some people of high school after some years to catch up with some of them, this is exactly what happens in this movie, a group of friends from high school go have a reunion in a isolated and big house to have some fun, the thing is that someone end up trying to kill everybody, the thing is that each one of them had a superlative during the old times right at their school photos, and the killer is making sure to kill them right in the way that match with his superlative. Directed by Anthony DiBlasi and written by Laura Brennan. The story of this movie is a bit of a flaw, because for this kind of movie to work well, you first need to like or at least care for some or even one of those characters quite much, otherwise the deaths will have no impact on whoever is watching, but a lot of slasher movies do this, it normally isn't that good, but it keeps you watching because the possibility for nice moments when the killer is doing his job, in some movies this work well in hold the public, does this happen here ? Well, surely the characters aren't very well develop in a point to make you care about them, they do have some conversations that really make you know them a bit, but in some of them it is a real fail, like you just don't believe in what the character is saying, in other moments, it don't feel like that does reflect in the character personality, the good is that they aren't all unilateral and stereotyped, they do have a sense of normality, you really believe that they are possible friendships. The movie try to imput there friendship in some moments with a fast talk, some of these moments work and some are just ridiculously boring and nonsense, they talking about school at their first met is a simple invite for you to stop watching, but in other hand, there are some good talks, that get you to know some characters, somethings that happened in their lifes, that is good and important for you to at least believe that those people exist. While the movie became that cliche, where there are some people locked in a confinemente with someone that they don't know trying to kill everybody, it actually gets better, they could create a, again, cliche, but ok flight killer ambience that could get me thrilled in some times, abou that, they did a ok job on creating scary aspects and scary moments, they aren't uniques, but definely functional. At the very end we got a revelation, like a double plot twist, that i'm not sure how one of these worked out, it maybe could have been better explained or just don't make much sense, it is like you find out who a main aspect on the story, while none of them do, but the movie try to put in some other way, but them it come again and put you back on where it already was. It also is very predictable in some points. The killer himself is pretty dope, i definely liked him, visually he was great, i though it very creative to put a scholarship suit on him considering the context of the story, and it also looked very nice, his atacks was interesting, he definely had some different characteristic of other slasher, but he nowhere close of the classic ones, don't have much screen time and not enough unique characteristics, he have one kill that was really surprising, and that's it, but in some times he could really help on creating a nice ambience of horror. The acting of this movie overall is kind of simple for the actors, the most complicated role was definely from Heather Morris, that they put her to interpret one of the top poker players of the world, there is one moment that she is playing with her friends and she try to do that concentration face, less expression face that pokers players do, and that was just sad to watch, like she didn't convinced me for 1 second that she was poker top player, but in other moments she was ok. Perez Hilton do a very stereotyped homossexual, he was a bit over, a bit exaggerated. Chad Addison convinced as the prankster. The montage of the movie had some really clumsy moments, i'm not sure what they were trying to do, to refer the old slasher classics, or they really thought that it would end up good, i don't know, i know that it didn't worked, there are some cuts that have like 2 seconds and don't tell nothing, i don't liked the montage here very much. The cinematography had some good moments, the movie have a clean image, the inside the house moments had some nice camera positioning, being able to give me a feel of claustrophobia sometimes or even fear. This movie isn't all bad, it does have some nice set pieces, some nice moments, but the dialogues overall aren't very interesting, neither the characters, the story is very cliche and predictable, but the killer is good so as some situations that they have placed during horror moments.

Damn! What an experience this movie was, it was like really few before. A kid that lives in a small town named Haddonfield, and lives with his parents and his sister, in one night he kills the sister and end up in some sort of asylum, 15 years later he escaped and went back to his hometown. Directed by John Carpenter. The story of this movie isn't the most complex thing in the world and also isn't the most important here neither, so it isn't a problem because it is very functional, it doesn't falls short in any way, it does have a pretty good job in presenting the characters and making we care with at least one of them very much, some characters are just placed there, that comes out of nowhere, but it all converge into the same character, so it wasn't a problem, because even if we didn't knew or cared about some of these characters, the main one did and it affected her anyway, you could also argue that doesn't seem to have any clear reason for Michael to do what he did, but it is simply that he is a completely psycho, you don't know if he do that for fun, or if he believes that there is something else that he needs to achieve, this is part of the mystery of the character and it is very good and well done. The creation of the character Michael Myers is a point that needs to have some light, they first gave him a back story that totally worked, and jumped 15 years through the movie, and during the story they had his doctor that used to talk about him, how he was, how he sees him, or it, and that gave him substance. About his visual, at the same way that they keeped it simple, they made it dope, the mask is scary and creepy, it is perfect, they way that he moves, it feels confident and imponent, he is a very well constructed character. Another nice aspect is that the way that he aproach the others, he is always stealth and stalker, that makes him even more scarier. The best thing about this movie, is for sure, the atmosphere that it created, that was special. The stalker aspect of Michael Myers is definely a thing that you can even take to your life, for real, after watching this i literally walk in the street looking 360 around me, because a stalker is such of a believable aspect that it is normal to be scared of that. The showing up and disappearing of him is a desesperate thing, you just never know where he is, or what he gonna do, it is scary as hell. There are some sequences of horror and thriller that are breathtaking, simply terrifying and unpredictable, you know that Michael is gonna get determined character, but he have so many opportunities and you can't be sure in wich one he will pop-up, you be like "he gonna show up now, oh, now", and you got so tense while watching because you can't be sure of nothing, they create an atmosphere that it is both scare, creepy and believable, that is definely a impressive thing. I liked how they didn't forced into jumpscares, they really created thriller situations. The acting is very good, even that some characters didn't had much to do, they were good. Jamie Lee Curtis was great here, she could first pass that calm and relax school girl, and inch by inch start thinking that she was crazy and seeing things, and finally to the desesperation with us, her character literally got so scared as me. Donald Pleasence did a good job, he could pass some concern tones in his voice that delievered, i totally bought that he trully believed in what he said. Nancy Kyes was also very good, she did had some moments and got me with that not concerning with anything person, that is mad sometimes but generally feel free. I can't say that i didn't found anything that felt wrong, like the girl being stalked and she don't really do anything about it really felt like a flaw. But the good things here destroy the flaws. The cinematography of this movie is great, even considering that this had a really low budge, they did a hell **** job here, they just did it in the best possible way. There are moments that the cinematography say something, script beyond lines, there are moments that they put the character in first person wich also works really well, it had some really great camera position here, and some really nice uses of it as well. The soundtrack is also great, the sound here is great, they did a very nice sound desing and used really nice musics to implement to the atmosphere that worked perfectly. The main theme of Michael Myers is so good, like so good, it isn't just nice to hear, but everytime that it started i got chills, because i knew that something was about to go on, but not everytime it happened, wich is so great, because even when the theme started i couldn't be sure if something was going to happen or not. The movie is great, it will get you tense and scared, it isn't predictable, the characters are good, and Myers is outsdanding in his story, in his way to do things, it is for sure one of the best slasher villains in any movie.

2 girls are best friends in high school and do a lot of things together, one is more like the hot one that wants to have sex all the time apprantely and the other seems to be more of a different girl. In one very day they decide to go to a place for a show and by the consequences of the actions one of them, Jennifer, ends up in a complicated situation that changes her somehow, and after that, something start living inside of her and needs to be feeded by human meat. Directed by Karyn Kusama. The idea of this movie is kind of interesting, like a person that uses the sensuality to call people to some place and get what it needs, it isn't a bad idea, the problem is that it is just that, it doesn't have anything around it, for example, back in the day when people asked me to watch Breaking Bad, i was like "nah, it is just an simple drug show" and after i watch it all, it was great, because it had a whole concept behind that, a whole world and events with characters that are so great and got me 100% invested in that story, but here it doesn't have that universe behind it, it is just a girl attracting guys with her sexuality, it is that silly, the stories that happen around this don't help to construct anything, and definely aren't that interesting at all, if this was a romance movie between the character of Amanda and Johnny, this definely would have been better. One situation here is that the two main characters are apparently best friends, and i didn't bought that even for a second, they are so different, i don't see why one would friend of the other, they just don't combine in any possible way. The movie have some moments doens't make sense ,like, how some characters went from one place to the other. The movie does have some comical moments, aren't the funniest thing in the world, but still can take a little laugh out, and these moments are mainly with the character Chip. Another bad thing here, is that you don't care about almost any character with except of one, literally, don't give a damn about almost all of them, this is a problem because at some parts of the movie they try to put some emotional moments, taking it really serious, and it just doesn't work because you don't care about who died or anything. There are moments that don't make sense, some crucial moments that are solved by things that don't make any possible sense. The movie tries to sell itself on Megan Fox charisma and sexiness, but i gotta say that it didn't get any close to work on, because first, the character Jennifer, is a complete jerk, second of all, Megan Fox acting is terrible, she just can't express anything, she looked like a door in this movie almos all the time, you can't tell anything by how she interprets, it was that bad, in the side of sexuality, it may have worked, but considering her door face, it didn't convinced me in anyway. Amanda Seyfried is by far the one who did the best job here, and when i mean "by far", i mean it, she convinced me in that weird way, she was cute and at the same time could have me engaged in her beliefs, in what she do. Johnny Simmons character isn't bad, he speaks with a low voice and seems to be shy, in comic moments he totally delievered. Chris Pratt and J.K. Simmons are also in this movie, they don't have much to do, but i thinks it worths the mention, J.K. Simmons character have a hook in the place of his hand, that was pretty cool. The montage in this movie had some really high moments and some really low. The interesting part felt a little like a Edgar Wright movie, like characters narrating an story while it happens, or characters that show up out of nowhere in a non serious way is pretty cool, there are some camera moviment that work really well together with some songs, it is almost epic. But in other hand, there are some sequences that it is dramatic, for example, and right into it they put a big hevy metal song that doesn't fit in any way with the scene and also is very anticlimatic. The movie is very divided in comedy, dramatic and horror moments, and one feels completely different then the other, almos like other movie, but ok. The movie have very much two thriller moments, one of them actually worked well, it had some nice construction of scenes, not very complex, but still good. This movie isn't good, the most part of the acting is that bad, the story is silly, the montage have some good moments, the conclusion you maybe like it, but still, it wasn't for me.

A student girl that is in her senior year in high school or college and mess with witchcraft, is considered ugly and very weird by her colleagues, and after she wrote a report about steroids using at her school for improvment in sports and some players that were heading to play the games won't anymore because of that article that she wrote, and then they find another reason to screw her over. Directed by Jeremy Haft. The story of this movie is to much of a stereotyped thing, but let's start with the characters, all of them are completely stereotyped and you will hardly care about any of them, at some point, even for that one that you care about even a little ends up doing some strange things in a dumb way, or maybe just the script didn't build the situation well enough for situations, neither for it to make sense or even feel anything. The caracters are all like, all mean and bad, or completely afraid, the movie stereotype everything, a ugly girl that is shy and excluded; a nerd guy that can't talk, is afraid of taking decisions and also a coward; a strong athlete that is apparentely the leader **** and it is all mean and think he is the king of the world; a drunk father that drinks all the time; i hate that, i hate those unilateral characters that are suposed to be and do one thing, that is just horrible, stereotyping characters is possibly the worst thing you can do to them, and if all of the characters are like that, imagine how this movie struggles with it. The story overall is a cliche itself, that famous story that someone that is screwed and then comes back after something and get his revenge, being this story is not a problem, the thing is that it is in the most simple possible way, it doesn't have much different things, and it isn't very creative neither, wich is a problem, if the movie got creative and nice kills it could have been really better, the problem is that it doesn't use well the rated-r classification, it doesn't have anything to be rated-r at all. The movie tries to force us to watch much in the sexuality of the character in Tamara, i can't say that they didn't make the sexuality of the character work, she is sex as hell, but use this as a walking stick is horrible, the movie was supossed to be an horror, but as a horror this works so bad that i can't tell, it isn't anything scary in it or horror, they couldn't create an ambience for this to work, this movie is more of a romance then an horror. The movie have some long sequences where Tamara is messing with her ingredients and stuff that you don't know what she is doing and they tooked so long in that, that was boring. The acting is complicated, Jenna Dewan did the better job here, considering that everything here is pretty much steriotyped, she did a good job, she could be firstly that scared girl at first, even if that didn't convinced that much, and after she became that hot and full of confident girl, that turn was good. Katie Stuart had a big part in this movie, she was good, i believed that she was that spit of goodness in that sea of bad people. Claudette Mink is probably the best actress in this movie, she had small time, but she had some nice sequences, her scared moments worked, the mixing of emotions like fear and rage, giving some adrenaline, i bought a little of that. This movie does have a concept, it does have a everyday, but it couldn't create an atmosphere, the dialogues are robotical, the lines are simple and don't convince in what they say, the lack of expression in some moments are so pity, like someone that died comes back to life and everybody's reaction are a poker face, this tooked me off sometimes. I before said that this is a romance movie, and i mean it, the movie starts with it and ends with it, it is a completely romance, wich is not a problem, but some ideas here have a lack of creativity that is we can't take it, the ending is horrible, and some consequences there wasn't well solved after all. This movie have a thing, that is actually very good, even that is isn't original or anything, is important. Wich is that you need to impose yourself in some moments, even that if the situation is going against you, sometime the right thing to do is going against that. It does have a nice meaning behind things there, it is nice and small, but it is there. One thing that you looked foward in this movie, is the revenge moments, but most of them are strange like, it didn't really felt revenged in some moments, you couldn't feel anguish, except for one or two moment, but overall it was way to simple and corny in a not very cool way. Afterall this movie is way to simple and nothing new at all, but it does have some ok moments that can entretain you, it does have a good meaning behin things there, but still to much sterityped and whatever.

The Emoji Movie

This movie tries to create a universe inside the smartphone, a living universe inside the most varied apps. Inside the conversation app, there is a whole civilization of emoticons that apparently live and grow in favor to serve the phone and be the emoticons. There is a situation that the "meh" emoji does have a bug that make him have different emotions instead of just the "meh" one, he is different and he get in trouble because of that. This movie is directed by Tony Leondis. The story of this movie is the much possible cliche, that journey that someone is different from the others, then the others repudiate him, and then he goes in a run of self discovery and end saving the day because of his difference, the most of these stories are actually cool because you can relate to that in some way, not just that but you care for that, here you just can't care for them, you can't worry about anything, the verisimilitude here is so low that, as i said, you won't worry about anyone here, and that is definely a proble, because the movie will put people in dangerous in a dramatic way that don't work at all. The movie does have some funny moments, but there are some nice moments that made me had a little laugh, some moments outside the cellphone that was relatable, like when you send the wrong message to a girl, who can't relate to that, right ? that is so funny, but in general, the jokes don't work that much, not for me, and i believe not for the kids neither, wich is a problem, because this movie was surely a childlike movie, but if not even then like it, it is a problem. The movie got no setpieces that you will remember after you watch, there are some ok moments with pop music, but then again it doesn't make sense and they stop the whole story for that, just for the popular song that everyone will know, but had no purpose. The movie have a few moments that feel so disconnected, somethings are completely out of place there, the movie have rhythm issues, somethings that could have been better explained. The dubbing is ok, like T.J. Miller did an ok job, it was simple what he had in his hands, but he did well. James Corden is the best one here, because he is legit funny, the way he put his sentences out is very sincere, his accent also helps, and he is a very funny guy in real life, so that helps, almost every small laugh that i had in this movie, was with him. Patrick Stewart is in this movie, not much to talk about him, he doubles the pop. Anna Faris is also here, she was ok, like she could pass friendship. The cgi is at least good, the creation of the world inside the phone it isn't bad, i gotta say that it was cool they walking around the phone, the structure of the different applications, they sailing around the spotfy waves, or walking around the photos on instagram, the cgi was good, the animation also, it wasn't great, but good. This kind of movie, that normally are meant both for kids and adults, like pixar and old dinsey animation movies, it had a big meaning that worked for both, things that would really make the adults think some deep things in life and also things that kids would get for form their character, in this one it doesn't have any, and if it does, it is the wrong message, things that aren't right, like people being in the phone instead of real talking. The movie have some funny moments, a interesting cgi job, the story is cliche and bad, it have no good meaning and definely wasn't a good job.

A girl named Sophie will marry very soon, but she never met her father and had no clue in who he is while she definely want to meet him and him to take her to the altar. So she take her mother personal diary to find out the men that she had relationships with, she got to know some men, and while she had no clue on who her father is, she dicide to invite all of the three, having hope that then she would get to finally know who her father really is. Directed by Phyllida Lloyd. The plot of this movie is interesting, it takes a romantic familiar story afloat. The movie gives a happy atmosphere, wich combines perfectly with the movie. One very nice part of the story here is that they give some teachings that are very welcome, some familly moments with daughter and mother primarily discussed, that is very deep and good, wich we can take to any father son realationship as well, seeing the kid growing and getting in the routine, it had some really touching moments here. The story was very simple, it is much about a surprise and a mystery, but at the end of the day you aren't really caring about it that much, the story wich is about the fathers is not very interesting, the side plots that end up being some songs are way more interesting then that, even that if it had zero influence in the main story, i would prefer for the great songs to actually make the plot go on, not just as a aside moment. The movie have some easy solutions, somethings that i didn't got very interested, it had some boring moments. But in other hand it had some really nice moments, some moments with a good energy, a energy that could be passed for who is watching, wich is very great. The story itself have so many thins that have zero influence into anything, that are there just to be fun, wich is alright, some of these are fun and some aren't, but i like when a story flows, and when it doesn't, at least make a really nice thing to fill that, but in general it doesn't that much. The most songs of the movie are very nice, the performance by the actors are all very well done. I loved how are different types of songs here, are songs that will just put you up, giving a good simle, there are songs that are sad and easily relatable with anyones life. The vocal by pretty much all of them was pretty damn good, some felt that they were a little bit with lack of will, but most of the time it was pretty good. The songs aren't very memorable, for me it wasn't songs that right after the movie ended i needed to listen it over and over, except for one, that was really great. The acting/vocal in this movie was on point. Meryl Streep is outstanding here, she is interpretating a old mother, but she is completely stuborn and fun, she gave a spirit to that character that is so sincere, her interpretation talks to much, her smile can say so much, her expressions are so natural and organic, she is completely great here, without even mentioning the vocal, she singing is unbelievable, fantastic. Amanda Seyfried is another high point of the movie, she is good at passing emotions, and is totally trustable that she is really the daughter of Donna, also her singing was pretty damn good. Pierce Brosnan was good, in some singing moments, just maybe he wasn't feeling it, he maybe wasn't enjoying what was happening, and that was noticiable, but overall, in some funny and dramatic moments he worked out. Christine Baranski was good, but her performance in the song "Does your mother know" was great, the song is very funny and she delivered a sarcastic and in power character. Julie Walters also had a good job, and a nice song with Stellan Skarsgård. Colin Firth was ok, he didn't had much to do. The cinematography of the movie is wasted in my opinion, because we had a big beautiful island to explore and i think that i couldn't feel the island that well, another thing that really bothered me, is that the movie have a yellow filter through the whole joint, what is the point of that, that yellow filter is just awful. The movie in other hand had some nice camera moviments, some positions that i enjoyed. There are some cheeky moments here, but the songs are very good, the story does have some flaws, but it have some nice teachings.

Wade Wilson is trying to live up with the super hero life, he fight criminals and also still in his relationship with Vanessa. During some events in the future, a person killed the familly of a militar, and for get them back, he decides to go back in time and killed that person while is still a kid, and that crosses the deadpool way. Directed by David Leitch. The story of this movie does have some really up moments and some really up down ones. Right at the very beginning one thing is going on, and that thing leads to one big deal that happens, and this happening feels so dislocated of the whole plot of the movie that it is disturbing, and they keeped bringing that back apparently having not to do with the plot, but at the very end that makes sense and it is important, i like to think in this story as two circles, one around the other that first seems to be completely disconnected but in the end of the circle the find eachother, it is good. The other circle would be the Cable one, his motivation wasn't bad, but still there was some moments that didn't felt right, like somethings that was kind of out of place, some things that he did during his journey that aren't really a thing that made sense, but considering that the movie makes joke about everything, incluiding itself, it get a free pass and doesn't bother much. The tone and narrative change from times, but not all of the moments are organic, some felt just threaded there. The chemistry between the characters in some moments works in others not that much. The comedy in this movie gets fantastic, it started slow, with some common lines, but as the keep goes, the comedy start getting another level, there are a few ways that the movie try to get you to laugh, wich is lines, actions that break the expectation and some really not convenient moments. All of these work ? No, but generally made me laugh the hell out of me in some moments, there are some big things that they did just to make a giant joke, and that killed me completely, was really funny, there at least two moments that i got broke of how much i did laugh. There are some lines that are good, but there are some that just don't work, wich is normal, there are those simple fart jokes, wich i don't find them funny anymore, was so much used in so many different ways, for me that is exhausted already. There are jokes that got repeated from the first one, but most of them get to a new level and can still be fun, jokes with Ryan or with Fox for example, worked out very well for me. The movie also is a machine gun of references, it does reference so many things, musics, movies, events, most of the time it is very cool. The break of the fourth wall is a big differential, always that he spoke to us, it was a nice moment. Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool one more time, just proved why he is the perfect one for this role, his voice and comical time are perfect, he convinced me in his physicality and also in the personality, in the dramatic moments he didn't convinced me perfectly, but i can't say that it was bad, surely wasn't as good as the comic ones, but it was functional. Josh Brolin was badass, his dramatic moments wasn't the best of the history, his character didn't seemed to have much expressions, it was pretty simple, he worked more as a ladder for deadpool and for the plot to flow, but in the action moments he was great. Zazie Beetz as Domino was pretty cool, she didn't had much challenge in the acting, i believe, but she fit well in that role. Morena Baccarin have a small role here, but she convinced me in the romantic parts, you could see that she was kind and full of love, really good. The action here can be dope and at the same time hilarious. It was pretty fun, the choreography of fight wasn't insane, but it was good, there are some sequences with swords and shots that are really nice to see. The powers of Cable were well demonstrated and it was badass. There is one specific moment that the characters used their powers togheter to beat a villain, wich was dope. The way that they show Domino's powers was great, they didn't just said that she was luck and showed a lucky moment, the showed the whole process to make the ending to be that lucky one, also pretty damn cool. The soundtrack was good, it had some uses of already known songs, in some moments that worked really well, in some not that much, but in general it was different, wich is always nice. The cgi was better than the first one, but not by far perfect, it had some moments that wasn't really that good, but generally it also worked out very well. The movie have some switches between drama and comedy that doesn't work everytime, but singularly they both deliver some good moments. The comedy is very nice in general, so as the action.

Continuing the story of the previous film, this sequence takes place a few years after Ethan Hunt imprison Solomane Lane and kind of taken the Syndicate down, but in this one we find out that a lot of members of it are still operants and are now called of apostles. After a mission goes wrong, Ethan and his team needs to work against the clock and fight their way to the objective. Directed by Christopher McQuarrie. Mission: Impossible-Fallout is the longer movie in the franchise, i didn't felt that the story was that good, it still seems to be just an excuse for the action scenes to happen, but i gotta say that the story was at least very functional, it did had some nice twists. There is some coincidences and some motivations that aren't very clear, somethings really didn't make much sense. But generally, the narrative was very entertaining. The movie have different moments, it does have some emotional moments, and some solutions from old stories. Tom Cruise in this movie is one more time awesome, the big thing in his work is that he trully likes what he is doing, it challenges him, and that is totally noticiable and makes a completely difference for the audience, for me, personally, it makes way more easier to board in that journey with him, and his acting was on point as well. Rebecca Ferguson in this one had a little less time than in the last one, but still she is great, she indeed killed in this one, she is mysterious and badass, in this one she also had a little more sentimental part, and for me she sold it very well, so as the action scenes one more time that she was perfect. Henry Cavill do a good job, his physicality helped him a lot for this role, the action moments that he use his strenght worked out very well, in the acting he was also very functional, his character is kind of a not very expressive one, but he had a nice tone. Vanessa Kirby is also in this movie and she convinced me in what she did, she doesn't had much screen, but she was that obstinate and confident character, i bought it. Sean Harris does the same thing that he did in the last one, not very developed, but still, he did very well. Michelle Monaghan is back at the franchise, and she was affectionate, and i believed that she was the same character, was very good. Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames are both good, they are a comic relief and also very importants for the plot to go on. Alec Baldwin don't have much time, but he was good, mainly in the twist moment, he had a nice tone. The action scenes are once again outstanding, sincerely i can't think in much other movies that have better action moments than this one. This movie do some stuff that are really glorifying, so as the last ones also did, wich is mainly not use stunt doubles, not use cgi, no green scree, with everything being real it makes a completely diference, it let us feel better the environment, help us to be in the place. The directing in the action are great, the camera work very well, always following the actors during the scenes, the movie have a lot of giant moments, i have seen behind the scenes of all of them, becaus at first i wasn't believing that he really did all of that, and i was shocked, because some parts that i was sure that wasn't real, it was. Since the moment that they are in the plane in Paris it was great, the mise-en-scène let me be really comfortable there, and when they jumped, damn, that was fabulous, not just the filming that was genius, but the job that the actors did in the air was great, it was convincing and the sequence had some tension and sense of urgency because of the time. The previous movie had one of, if not, the best motorcycle sequences in movies history, in this one they pretty much reached the same level if not overcame that, the sequence in London here are insane, not just breathtaking but beautiful to watch as well, here the cameras also had a great job, following the characters in a way that is different, isn't like just walking side by side, but when the character fall, the camera have a dash, it was fantastic, the pursuing around the cars, that was just so great. The third insane action sequence, was in the helicopter, that Tom Cruise actually learned to fly a helicopter just for it to look more real here and also did all of the part around the helicopter he really did it, when i say that the actor is so badass as the character, i mean it, and the whole sequence there have a great footage, it is really well filmed, and also breathtaking, can make you sweat during it, the action here is just outstanding. The cinematography is very good, not just for the camera moviment and positioning that i already mentioned, but the colors are very pretty and alive, the movie takes place in different places and environments and it allows they to do a diversity that are so great as the second one, in this one have a snow parts that were really beautiful, not just that, but they use the place very well.

The Missio Impossible franchise achieves it's fifth movie. Our hero now is facing a terrorist organization named Syndicate, but this time the villain is always ahead of Ethan Hunt in what he do, so he never catches him. That makes the CIA thinks that Ethan is mad and the Impossible Mission Force (IMF) is outdated and needs to be closed. So both CIA and the terrorists will eventually wants Ethan. So our main guy and his team will do their best to eradicate the Syndicate. Directed by Christopher McQuarrie. The main problem with almost all the other mission impossible movie was it's story, in this one it isn't much different, but i gotta say that it is much better compared to the others, i got engaged in the unroll of what was happpening. Of course that it is still needed a lot of suspension of disbelief in some moments, there are somethings that just don't make sense and is essential to make the plot flow, is needed to get away with it, but the cern leading aspects of the story are very nice, it does brough back a little of what the first one had. The aspect of having double agents or even a triple agent is really intriguing, you don't get to be sure in what side someone is what we had in the first one that we kind of lost during the franchis but now is back, and that is a very nice aspect. Considering that this is the fifth movie and 19 years after the first one come out, we have a lot of lore of this movies, and the director new it and didn't waste time to refer a lot of the others, even in a little dialogue or even in a whole sequence, that didn't bothered me, it was together with the narrative and was nice. The finally moments of the movie are exactly like other one, depend on you if you think this as a nice reference or a creative problem during the course of the movie. It does have a lot of cliches, but the director worked well with those. The chemistry between all the old characters worked very well, incluiding the new one with Ilsa, she with Ethan was very organic. The villain isn't bad, but maybe a little more of motivation, explanation in what he was doing would have been very welcome. The acting one more time was pretty good. Tom Cruise of course doing a great job, mainly because of his actions, that he delivery perfectly, and also giving to us a completely different Ethan, an evolved one that doesn't waste time with smiles and stuff, it is really nice to see the character evolving. Rebecca Ferguson is by far the best action company that Tom has had during all of these movies, she is perfect as a multiple agent spy, and also have that look of regret in some moments, or that confident one, she was great. Simon Pegg was one more time a comic relief with a lot of functional and crucial moments to the plot, he is always very funny and here he keeped that tone and definely did a great job, he also had some dramatic little moments that were very functional. Jeremy Renner didn't had much to do, but he worked very well, always good to have good actors doing support parts, help the movie to keep stable. Ving Rhames is back as a needed in a crucial part, he can maintain the character characteristics since the first one, he was very nice. Sean Harris is the main villain here, and i gotta say that he killed it, he totally convinced me that he is a psycho with that calm voice, saying "please" all the time, he was terrifyng. The action scenes are wonderful, the main reason is that we don't have much cgi or green screen, things are actually real, and that makes a total diference, i could feel the place and everything that was there. I gottaa say that the best action sequence of the franchise isn't in this one, but in general, talking about the whole movie, it is the one with the best amount of action, all of them worked, some of them got me worried about the situation, putting our main guy in a extreme situation with that level of realism is always a memorable part. The soundtrack worked, it helped to give context the tension in some scenes. The main theme is still very dope, even that in this one it didn't had any peculiarity. And one more time it have that very important part, without cgi, without green screen and without doubles, things are real, and one more time Tom Cruise was brilliant, he is definely one of the few actors that make real stuff. The cinematography is very beautiful, the movie takes place in several countries, and it maked visually have a lot of diversity here, different places in different moments, that was very nice. This movie is great, the realism and the action are all memorable, the story is very good, there are some cliches and things that are out of place, but if you relieve this, it will surely be a very good time.

When a hihgly important archive was picked up and given for the wrong hands, Ethan Hunt is taken out of the prison to develop a plan and lead a team to make to owner of those archives to fail in whatever he is planning on. Those archives make able a nuclear attack in several places, so Ethan and his team will infiltrate and do whatever it takes to got that back. Directed by Brad Bird. What makes the movie moves is his story, and i gotta say that it is by far the most weak point here, not just in this one, but in the whole franchise until this point, except the first one. Here we have a guy that wants to launch nuclear missiles in the world for make it better, makes even less sense than the bad one in mission impossible-2, this is the one that the villain have less development and have less things to say, so me don't know him, don't care about anything that is around him and he is exactly what makes the plot keep going, this is a bad thing. But in other hand, they gave to the good characters some layers, wich is very good, Ethan and Brandt character have some interesting layers, some secrets that got me interested during the movie. The team isn't anymore that same thing, a driver, a hacker and a striker, now they changed this line up, they got more creative here, wich is great. There are some parts that is confusing, that maybe get you lost, but in general things makes sense, sometimes are a little forced up, somethings maybe get you out of the movie, but it is functional i would say. There is an arc with the police of Russia that i think that it was unnecessary, i didn't take exactly what was going on there, first he killed some people, then he was friendly, i think that arc wasn't well solved. The job of acting in this movie was on point. We have Tom Cruise one more time killing in the job as Ethan Hunt, this time doing a much more mature Ethan, wich makes totally sense, he doesn't have does little smiles every minute anymore, it is a much serious and also a little dark Ethan this time, and i liked it, also his actions scenes are great, you totally believe in what he is doing and also a big shoutout for his stunts, and for all the crazy things that he do, he is really a different actor from the majority, so respect. Paula Patton interprets an agent, she is very functional, she convinces as an fighter, and also in some angry moments. Jeremy Renner make an analist with a very interesting past that got very intriguing, the actor can make a very good disappointment feeling with himself, he was very good. Simon Pegg with the character of Benji pretty much takes the place of Luther, and i gotta say that he did a very good job, he gives a counterpoint of what the chracter of Luther was, he is very funny and clumsy, and no the most confident person ever, he works very well with a comic relief and the actor convinced perfectly in all of these aspects. The action sequences are great, and before anything else, it is perfect that there is no cgi, no green screen and also no doubles, in most or maybe all of the scenes, that is fantastic. I'm gonna start talking on the Burj Khalifa building in Dubai sequence, that whole thing was gorgeous. What else was great in that sequence, is that before he started climbing, i knew that he wouldn't die, i was completely sure of that, but the composition of the scene, of the realism and the real dangerous that had there, it really made me scared, in some moments i covered my face with my hands because it was so well done that i forgot everything else, i was really worried and impressed at the same time of how much of a badass Tom Cruise or even Ethan Hunt is, at this point the character and actor are equally badass. The other scenes are all very good as well, the Kremlin sequence was very fun. Just at the very end i wasn't so sure of what was happening anymore, maybe it could have been a little smaller. The soundtrack keeps killing it, it will never get old. It is very nice when they are planning everything and the theme is behind everything with a low volume, that give the scene such of a nice climate. The cinematography worked a lot during scenes of building, but during the rest of the movie it is most likely just functional, it is pretty, but doesn't talk much with us. Turns out that this movie have a bad story without much of surprises in his main one, but it does have a very nice comical time and the actions are insane, a show without cgi and tons of special effects, everything felt real and that is perfect.

The third movie of the mission impossible franchise takes place years after the second one and Ethan Hunt is retired from the field but he trains others to become agents. Ethan quit the job most likely because he is looking foward to start a family with his new girlfriend. Because of the struggle of a agent that he trained, he feels forced to get back to work for help and during this he find out some trafficking situations that he needs to work on to fix things. Directed by J. J. Abrams. The story of this movie isn't much complex as the first one is, but it isn't so less interesting and so unrealistic as the second one. This movie have a story that it is functional, but not even by far it is the most attractive point here, it isn't very original and doesn't have big moments, but then again, it is functional, it definely works. It does have a plot twists that it is straight outta the first one, it is just like that one. Their team at principle it is just like the other 2, a guy to invade, one to hack and one to escape in an helicopter, but later on it changes and they get more creative, wich is always better. They gave time for us to care about some new characters that was needed, they start the movie with a flash foward, wich i'm not so sure about it, not sure if it was the better of the options. The movie also have some coincidences that is hard to bought but definely doesn't bother if you get your disbelief on point. There are some moments where the movie tries to make you believe in somethings that are just badly done. But you can feel the adrenaline and the urgency here, so they did a good job in this part. I also liked how the explained somethings that were used in the other two movies in this one, it was very nice. The acting in this movie did a good job. The better one by far was Tom Cruise, givin to the character of Ethan Hunt a layer that we didn't had much in the other two movies, wich is more of a desperated one in a cliffhanger situation, he cries and completely forgot of that smile Ethan, Tom make me completely bought his concern and his rage in some moments, and also didn't forgot that trick personality at the same time, so he did a great job here with that overwhelmed Ethan. Michelle Monaghan had a supporting job, she was kind and sweet, he did very well what they told her to, no complains on her. Ving Rhames is here one more time, and his character still pretty damn cool, he convinced being that hacker, he had a little more time in this one to talk about different things, but he did so good as he did in the other ones. Simon Pegg is also in this movie and he was funny, and have a very crucial part in the story, his acting was on point passing that his character is not the most confident ever, but is also a believer. Philip Seymour Hoffman interpretate a villain that it is simply unidimensional, like is characteristic of this series, he is just bad and is threatning people all the time, he did a good job considering what they gave him to do, he convinced me that he is just a bad man with the way he look to others and the way that he talks. Laurence Fishburne is also here and didn't had much to do, he was like his role in CSI, didn't had much time, but he was functional. The action was surely the high point in this movie, there is some sequences that are really brethtaking, the bridge sequence they did with maestry, that was just 100% nice, it was very good in every possible way. The first invading scene was cool, but i don't think that it was perfect, at the begining of that part it was good that they make things pretty clear what was going to happen, but in some moments it felt that they was just shooting to random places, they didn't convinced me that they knew what they are doing, maybe it was the montage, i'm not sure, but at the start things didn't felt way connected. The second mission that they had to pick it up, that was another really cool moment, it wasn't the most nice thing ever but still was really well done in that Vaticano place. And also more by the end things got more crazy, jumping trough windows, somethings that they decided not to show, wich i'm not sure if it also was the best of the ideas. But generally it was really cool. The soundtrack worked very well, they really contextualizes the scenes very well, so as the main theme it is still pretty damn cool. The cinematography got back to how it was in the first movie, and it is great, using those Dutch angles, and a moving camera, a camera that almost never is calm it is always agitated with the situation and that is awesome.

A scientist creates a virus named Chimera together with it's antidote, turns out that it got stolen by some terrorists that are led by an ex-agent. Ethan Hunt with his team need to develop a plan, to find out where the guy is and recover the virus, while the terrorist is planning to spread the virus around the country and then the whole world, for finally he can be able to sell his antidote and get a millionaire man. Directed by John Woo. The premise of this movie is very cliche and nothing exciting, the structure in this one is very conventional. The story of the movie is very simple, and is very purchasable, you can believe in what is happening, the main plot is one that sustains itself, but isn't special in any part, wich would depend of the development of it to become somethings really nice, but overall it is very silly, the villain until some point make sense, but at the very end it just become ridiculous, like they did forgot something. At the beginning they trie to force a relationship that it was way to fast and not very nicely done. They even keeped the same kind of team from the previous movie, a guy in a helicopter and other in a van with the computer, it wasn't bad, but definely not the best thing. The villain is completely unilateral, he didn't had different aspects or layers he is just one thing. The movie got some plot twists involving the masks, but also was very used in the first movie, i personally didn't bough those twists, but i can't lie that some of them were pretty cool, i just can't imagine how they have a mask of everybody that exists, it felt wrong, but it was nice. There are some good sequences, some fun moments with the right suspension of disbelief or even not. There is one sequence wich is a fear of getting cough that they worked with it very well, cameras, sounds and the right amount of subtleties. I believe that the actors delivered very well what they had in their hands. Tom Cruise was able to maintain the Ethan Hunt that he first created a few years ago, he could still be sarcastic with those random smiles and also could be serious and demonstrate concern. Thandie Newton also did a good job, she could convince as a thief credited, she expressed confidence and cleverness in her voice, even that in some dramatic moments it didn't convinced me that much, she did a good job. Dougray Scott had one job, be a unilateral villain that wanted to be rich doing bad things, it wasn't the better of the characters, but he did what he could. Ving Rhames is back as Luther, he wasn't so nice as in the first one, but he was very functional and gave me some nice laughs, he convinced in doing his things and gave some nice dramatic partis with his concern in his voice. John polson was more of a relief comic, he worked, gave me some laughs and was the conveyor for the group. Anthonny Hopkins is also in this movie, he doesn't have much to do, but the few time that he is in, i gotta say the he worked considering what he had to do. The action in this movie was just awful, i hate when they start to make the character do some acrobatics fights just to make it look cool, because it looks ridiculous mostly of the time, when someone needs to punch the other to knock him down, and instead of just do it, he does a back flip first and then strikes him, for me that is terrible. In some moments they use a slow motion to put some drama in the action, but for me it didn't worked out every time, in some moments it just feels ridiculous. They had some decides in the action scenes that i really couldn't understand, it had some really nonsense scenes that was simply ugly, i didn't liked how it was shooted, to much cuts, it couldn't let me feel the sequence, there somethings with cars and motorcycles that was really breathtaking in some moments, but not in the good way. There was some ok moments of gun fire, or a invasion moment, but still, everything is so unrealistic that feels out of place considering how did the first movie make. The cinematography lost that tense aspect, that was using dutch cameras for discovery and unconfortable moments for the character, a camera that really talked to us, in this one that almost never happens, the movie use some zoom in moments, wich work, so as some slow motion moments that mostly of the time felt goofy. The soundtrack in this one had a little change, the main theme is pretty much the same, but now, they put it in a guitar, wich sounded great, and it combined with the more accelerated style of the movie. This movie have some many flaws in the story, it is a simply and silly one. The action scenes aren't good and there is so many bad use of resources here. But even with that you can find some nice moments, it is that bad movie that can make you smile sometimes.

A russian young girl that trained to be a ballet dancer wich was her purpose in life, which made her special at that time, but after a injury her carreer is over and impossibility she to dance again. Then in order to help she and her mom to have a decent life, she got a invitation to get in a school to become a sparrow by her uncle, that school trained her to be a sparrow, agents that work for someone in favor of get information with the sensuality, approaching of targets using her body. Based on a book and directed by Francis Lawrence. The story of this movie goes in a slow rhythm, it does have a dark aspect and emotionless. I liked the tension that was in the story, and it made me believe that pretty much everyone was in dangerous, not exactly made care about them, but did me believe that anyone could go any time, by any stumbling. The core of the movie is very interesting, and the way that they explored it was very good, showing her training, and demonstrating how did she learn those things was very good. The big problem is that the movie tries to imply a confidence and assurance that really comes out of nowhere, things that happened to fast and didn't felt organic or natural, it felt rushed and even senseless, wich is curious considering that the movie have 150 minutes, that's a lot of time and still things felt out of palce, crucial things, a character that was supose to be rival with the other and just start to believe in the other out of nothing felt really wrong and took me out of the movie. The story goes in a way that during it a lot of things happens that doesn't make sense at all and feel dislocated, but at the very end it is explained and combined it does, wich i like. It does have some plot twists, and the movie kind of tried to make the viewer not to be sure if the character was in one side or other, wich i also liked. The acting wasn't a high point in this movie, even considering that the film was indeed with a purpose of emotionless, but i really don't buy it in every moment. Jennifer Lawrence character was the perfect example of emotionless, she didn't had much faces in this movie other than that poker face, she could show fear in some moments, but normally, in moments that she should pass me a woman that is looking to care of someone, in her eyes or voice tones, she didn't delievery this other part, just seemed to be a wall. Joel Edgerton also didn't had much expressions, but i could buy him caring about other characters, and his devotion into a purpose, it didn't convinced me 100% but it wasn't bad. Matthias Schoenaerts was kind of the older relative, that always had advice, he was a little threatening and i believe that he did a good job. Charlotte Rampling, showed confidence and was certain about she was talking, i completely bought what she was talking, she did very well. Jeremy Irons doesn't have a lot of screen time, but the little he convinced me, he was cautious and it convinced me. The cinematography of the movie don't talk much to us and isn't the most pretty neither, but is worked in some moments and helped to creat this emotionless scenario. There are some moments that the character are explaining what they are going to do and are already showing the thing happening, that was very nice. The soundtrack isn't memorable and doesn't call much attention neither. The movie makes everybody talk english with a russian accent, sometimes that didn't worked out, it was like if they just forgot about it in some scenes. The movie also forgets some characters that they had. The movie have problems of continuity, it does have sequences that doesn't take nothing to nowhere, comes with some really uninteresting things, and that took me out of the movie sometimes as well. The character does not have layers, taking away one or two. There is the villain and there is the hero, and you needed to choose between them. The movie also in some moments have a nice mystery, it does have some sequences that are really entertaining, it does have some nice twists and tense moments, it does have a nice editing. The intensity of what happens is really high, it is brutal, it can be gore or even make you want to turn your head in some moments, it does have some triggers that keeped me interested in it, and have a nice ending connecting things that happened before, even if some are a little forced. This is a thriller of espionage that doesn't have much new, and have a bunch of flaws, but definely have some good things right there.

A blind woman that apparently have a normal life with a normal job, hear a possible murderer in her building, but she had second intensions and a dark past. The rest you will want to find out only while watching the movie. Directed by Anthony Byrne. This is a very interesting movie, the story is very nice, there is a lot of discoverying shile watching, one scene that doesn't seems to make a lot of sense but further on the movie they start explaining and telling the backstory and what some characters are looking foward to while things start making sense. The story also does have some plot twists in it, some you may see it coming or find some not really necessary, but personally i tought it was pretty cool. The movie have a narrative that stands in a lot of persons trying to reach the same nucleo for different reasons, except for the main character they don't explain exactly what is happening between the others, you can get to know but it isn't 100% exposed, that may be a problem but in this case it worked, i like when things aren't explicit and make you think in some possibilities. Somethings may had felt out of place, something didn't make sense, but overwall it worked very well, it is a very nice story and told in a very nice way. The movie starts better than is finalized, the first act and until half of the movie it is perfect, the story was being released very well and it was being a great joint to follow, at the 2nd half somethings start to become out of place, somethings without making sense and the rhythm also got a little problematic as well in this 2nd half, but for me it didn't destroyed the movie, just didn't make it as good as it could have been. The cameras in this movie did a great job, considering that the character is blind the camera are always very close to her giving an aspect of blindness itself, while you hear things happening and the camera is focused on her head you can only know what is happening from what you hear, by the way the sound design in this movie was very good what was essential, wich in thesis, it is just like the character does. The colors of the movie are a bit down, it have a noir tone, it is really good. Natalie Dormer here had the challenge to interpretate a blind person, she doesn't convince all the time that she is one, wich i believe that this is kind of fixed during the movie, but still, go watch it, she convince in her voice tone. Ed Skrein character is kind of out of place, he does have an arc, but his reactions was so without expressions that his character was kind of the low point of the movie. Jan Bijvoet do a pretty good job, he totally convinces in being a bad guy, and the worst, i completely bought his cold heart, by the way that he speaks and looked to people, he worked a lot in this character. The movie have a little bro spirit, saying that you end up becoming what you hate, isn't an original though, but during the context of the movie, this may have felt wrong or right, depends on you. The cinematography in this movie is great, not just for the cameras that are very well positioned, but are some filmings in shadows and using the light very well. The soundtrack is good and make a tension in it that works. This movie is good, the problem is that there are some non sense things in the story, somethings are implicit, wich is perfect, but there are some that just doesn't fit in, get confused is good, but when you are confused in something crucial to the story and can't find a good reason for that to have happened this is bad, the famous plot holes. But generally it worked well, a different movie and a nice thriller.
