First off the game is actually pretty boring solo, the best value it can offer is the cross play where i can finally play with friends on PC. However then again co op is broken when talking about scaling, bosses die in matter of seconds by shooting almost blindly. The framerate on PS4 is CRAP, if given the choice definite don't buy the PS4 version. Jokes aren't funny, even if you "get the reference". Not understanding a joke makes you think you didn't understand some silly reference anyway. I wish I could talk about classes but since COOP on highest difficulty is a joke I don't even know what matters.

If you loved P5/R, this is a MUST get, just to get a reunion with your friends. Pros: - no one is off character, it's the same quality dialogue you are used to - great story, great new characters Con: - Combat can be chaotic, but in hindsight P5 combat was too simple so it's an upgrade - no dating

This is every bit a Dark Souls 4 many have called it, anything else said by content creators are lies since they rely on the game being popular. However, that doesn't have to mean it's a bad thing Pros: - Beautiful - LOTS of cool skills and spells for a huge variety of play styles - lots of unique content - lots of interesting characters and quests - Many ways to finish the game Cons: - ridiculous amount of copy paste - RIDICULOUS amount of copy paste: Same major boss model reused 2-3 times, even major secret bosses are not spared, minor bosses eventually become field units, dungeons(catacombs) that look the same and repeated over 20 times - exploration is often rewarded by large amount of useless spells, weapons or summons - PVP very unbalanced und not playable - End game burn out kicks very early - not recommended if you are Dark Souls fatigue

- Weapon balance is a joke - the story is almost deliberately bad - gear balance is also a joke, many armor skills are just useless - skill balance is also bad, useless skills exists in contrast to skills that are the bread and butter to a weapon

Hitman 3

Before even getting into Hitman there are a few very import things to know. This game is not supposed to be played in a traditional manner, i.e. you beat a level, follow the campaign and it's over. By design the game is focused on replayablity, the player is asked to play the same level like 6 times (well by abusing save states anyway) and witness all the little details a map has to offer. Each stage has about a good dozen path that leads to completion, however each path can be done in matter of minutes. This is not to be confused with game time padding, since every aspect of a map feels very detailed and well designed. Play the game in a straight line to finish and the game lasts no more than 10 hours, yet you played it wrong. Witnessing each little kill scenario is extremely satisfying, however even still HITMAN is a far cry from being a perfect game...here are the Pros(+) and Cons(-): + Much like every Hitman, the maps in Hitman 3 are vast and full of life, the player is incentivized to leave no stone untouched. In a sense Hitman always has been a game well suited for completionists + Hitman 3 in introduces new game mechanics apart from just reskinning the target and changing the landscape. The new mechanics are so cool they will put a grin onto players face, however... - the new mechanics are at times half assed. For instance, the player might go like "cool, time to be a master [... ]", just before you had the time to solve a problem on your own Diana quickly spoils you the answer over intercom. Was it too much to asking to demand a full experience? + Fortunately the story really picked up and is no longer just an excuse to kill targets. At its climax the tension is gonna makes players heart race. the player is given the feeling to almost have lost control over the situation, however, that tension quickly faded because - enemies still don't evolve. The enemy NPCS you met in the first tutorial chapter might very well be the same reskinned object you meet throughout the entire game. Even though this is a design choice it sometimes doesn't really match the enemies profile. It is disappointing to see some enemies that are supposed to be more vigilant still make a 180° turn to a coin toss like any other AI. + This makes it sound easy but in reality there are difficulty settings for everyone. Beating the game normal is fun enough, to really experience Hitman I highly recommend beating SASO(hardest things to do) on every level. Every level is designed in a way that SASO can be accomplished without being a pro gamer, and it really spices up things because the player will need to bring out their inner Solid Snake - there is one problem however, again with the AI, which is the lack of random. All AI are programmed to have the exact patrol and schedule to the second. This takes away the tension of the unknown and makes repeated attempts a bit boring since it eventually just becomes a memory game. The player would remember at which second this NPC is gonna do that, no more actual thinking and improvising is involved. I understand this is not MGS, but maybe an extra difficulty setting which makes things more random just the perfect topping.

Story 11/10 Ain't no better story in games. The story is extremely complicated and involves 13 protagonists, despite this you will not get some Evangelion **** at the end and understand nothing, every reveal is made crystal clear and you will drop your jaws. I will say however some few story elements were a tad too convenient. Combat: 4/10 Even though the devs don't seem to admit it, this is a visual novel. It is recommended to rush through the light weight combat which fortunately only takes a third of the game time. It's shallow but extremely fast paced, each fight lasts like 5 minutes. Graphics/Music: This is a low budget game, the visuals are beautiful yet scarce. The score is perfect and aligns perfectly with the story scenes

Pros: + Arthur Morgan is hilarious + interesting plot for the most part + myriad of ways to commit crimes for earning money, if only money wasn't useless Cons: - money is useless: upgrading guns or anything is just for kicks since there is really no need with the exception of fast travel maybe - since money is useless, there is little motivation to do all those fun crimes the game offers. You can rob trains, stores, stagecoaches etc etc but for what??? - enemies drop like flies, they never increase in health so you run through the story with a generic repeater, I don't even know where I picked it from, I definitely never upgraded any guns - some nonsensical scenes: if a major char can die by walking into a trap, why doesn't Dutch die when waltzing into a mansion full of armed people with no cover??? - the gameplay basically hides behind its writing: at its core you do the same thing over and over. Go to some place, shoot people eventually. It's just the setting changes everytime which gives the illusion of gameplay variety, and it works. Shooting people on a train then shoot people on a stagecoach later kinda feels different, you just don't have to take a closer look

Remaking a beloved game is a double edge sword. On one side the makers can spare the character and story design because people already love it so nothing can go wrong here, on the other hand, every one and their grandma plays this game with biased expectations. Most people expect this to be a Remaster, so I am here to tell you the game is titled a Remake with the express purpose of distinguishing itself from a Remaster. So in theories the game should be considered a standalone game "based" on FF7, however this practice is made difficult as well: Despite being a Remake it is highly recommended or at least spoiler yourself with FF7's story to fully enjoy this game. This is a glaring paradox, people are not supposed to think this is a FF7 Remaster but still people should have played FF7 to understand FF7R's plot. FF7R is reviewed bombed because of this but no one can really blame all these angry people for being put into such a difficult position. ------------------------------- Story: 9/10 + The story loosely follows FF7 then starts getting real interesting towards the end, almost mind boggling interesting. - One just need to ignore the existence of the final boss which was completely out of place and seemed to be blatant fan service. Characters 10/10: The story fleshes out the main cast and the supporting cast is extremely charming as well. I don't need to talk about Cloud of Tifa, what I would mention is how supporting cast all have a different feel because Roberto Ferrari was in charge designing them, they ended up appearing much less anime cliche and are on par with top tier western RPG characters. Setting 10/10 + so **** words needed. So many details it's like unreal + People often compare FF7R to FFXIII. That is no accurate. in XIII long linear corridors always connect a cutscene, and a boss, yet the whole world felt empty and dead. It would be more precise to compare FF7R to FFX. Linear path ways connect places brimming with LIFE. Every time you visit a new town you will end up being overwhelmed by the energy. Gameplay 8/10 + The combat feels hectic at first, but once you get the hand of it it is pretty fluid. + Lots of streamlined quality of life services, you can feel the devs really wanted to avoid unnecessary chores - What troubled me a little is the lack of Materia sets. Party members go in and out a whole lot at times and you are forced to resetting the materia for the upcoming fights on your own. - Even for people who never played FF7 some episodes were obviously filler. The dumbest example was when the party was forced a detour because some dude stole the key to a generic metallic door, some episodes ago we hacked down a giant robot 10 times bigger and now the one thing that stops us is a locked door? There is really no shame in making a short game, a 10 hour game can still be 10/10, this is what Square Enix failed to realize Overall 9/10 Haters should drop their expectations, Square did not promise a Remaster to anyone

Many reviews both official and end users rate this game based on their previous experience with P5. That is not a fair practice. It may be almost the same game and the veteran might have to replay the entire game to access the new features (the could have been a DLC), but this game is still a complete standalone package. At no point was this game designed to be sold to people who already played P5, it is our choice to do so and there is no room to complain if you did. A fair and unbiased review can only mean this is a 10/10 game for most people, for its style, its story and its characters. This is not a game for you if you don't like - a huge ton of dialogues, I'd say about 30 hours worth - extremely slow pacing at the beginning, serving to introduce the player into its settings - dating multiple girls at once and then having to pay for it Despite being a 10/10 game for me there are things that bother me personally - At its core the battle system does not scale well and lacks the depth necessary for endgame. This causes the player to be vastly overpowered towards the end of the game - Ranking up confidants doesn't allow you to ****. The answers always need to be positive to increase those notes, certain times where I couldn't resist giving that fun answer results in 0 points added Now to people who platinum-ed P5 and are hesitating: Yes, in my opinion if you beat P5 on NG+ then this might be quite the commitment to replay the same game again just to access 20 hours. The new content is extremely well written and houses a beautiful palace, yet I will be bold to claim it's not worth it if you were burning out on the second playthrough. I personally did not look forward to having to go through the space ship again or even the pyramid, it just all feels so recent despite being 3 years ago, because P5 simply left that much of an unforgettable impression to me. Summary: 10/10 if reviewed just for its game, a must play for all new comers 5/10 if you are burnt out from P5, might just youtube it.

180 hours, two playthroughs The Good + After Fates, finally a well written story and likable characters + Great character interactions, lots of chemistry + Though overwhelming at first, fine tuning roster is surprisingly fun + Great Combat animations, Incredible voice cast The bad - Map design sometimes encourages the use of Divine Pulse, a feature many veterans refuse to use. Having Pegasus Knight spawn into your face after your turn end, or a certain move triggering all enemies to advance to you of a sudden is simply not good difficulty design - (On Maddening), Pegasus Knights are most OP enemies in the entire game, without proper preparation from the very beginning it might be unplayable later on - As per tradition, the gap between high tier and lower tier characters are huge - Dreamcast textures

The game is great but not a 10 for me unfortunate, it's because there is never a climax. You explore the world and eventually all things come to an end, it's like watching a show where enemies gradually just die. I miss the WOW moments from past Zelda and the sensation of having been through a lot after walking out of big dungeons. Pros: - Open World: HUGE world with great sense of exploration - Great combat system, which amplies the DLC a lot - fun mini puzzles Cons: - complete lack of anything spectacular: From the dull story to underwhelming dungeons. If you are looking to drop your jaws you are wrong here - Rewards are not rewards: getting heart pieces is fine but the player will soon realize all chests just contain a consumable that don't last til morning

Summary: - Definitely and undeniably the best JRPG of ALL time - Arguably the best RPG of all time - Arguably one of the Top 10 best games of all time One of the major aspect of this game is it chooses art over money: It was not designed to appeal to the (IGNORANT) MASS and sell as many copies as possible. It doesn't care about the taste of the average player, the game knows it is beautiful and will attract those who understands its value. Yet this is sadly why Persona 5 will never gain the universal acknowledgement it deserves and will forever stay a hidden gem amongst the nowadays average franchise creations, games that use their names as MASKS to hide their craptastic design, games that use elements intentionally chosen to attract the (IGNORANT) MASS for the express purpose of revenue generation.
