Mario Kart Wii10
Nov 30, 2018
I never thought that any game would be on the same level at MKDS. MKWii proved me wrong. It has some of the best tracks in all of Mario Kart, the character roster is perfect and while the game is unbalanced and chaotic, I feel like that's what Mario Kart is meant to be. Chaotic fun.

"Sonic and the Black Knight is garbage". Yep, because improved controls from Secret Rings, fun swordplay, engaging story, beautiful aesthetic, and enjoyable missions definitely equals a garbage game, doesn't it?

Sonic Mania is absolutely fantastic. The visuals are stunning beyond grace, the gameplay is near perfect, the levels are phenomenal, even if some of them are reused, and the music is just masterful. Buy this game. It's a masterpiece.

Geometry Dash9
Jul 12, 2018
Geometry Dash is incredibly fun, yet extremely difficult. It's a rhythm based platformer in which the levels are fun and the music almost competes with the likes of Sonic games. And on top of that, you can create your own levels. That reason alone makes Geometry Dash a must-download.

New Super Mario Bros. U8
Jul 12, 2018
At this point, the series has overstayed its welcome by reusing features from the other New Super Mario Bros. games and downgrading them. But NSMBU is a solid game nonetheless. The levels are quite fun, even though they add nothing new to the table. The new power-up, the Super Acorn, is so fun to use. My biggest problem is that once you play the levels a few times, you won't feel like going back to them. But go ahead and purchase it if you like 2D Mario.

Sonic Generations9
Jul 6, 2018
Sonic Generations is a true return to form and also what Colours should have been. The gameplay for Modern Sonic has been improved greatly, with better controls, better level design, and the Homing Attack is not mapped to the same button as Boost. Classic Sonic is also fun to play. The level design in that game is better than the classics, because what couldn't have been done before back in the 90's is now **** get to revisit 9 reimagined levels from Sonic's past, and with some beautiful visuals to date, Sonic Generations is fun for all.

Mario Kart: Super Circuit7
Jul 4, 2018
This is a fun game with some unique track themes and good music for the GBA, it has a plethora of issues. The controls, while better than Super Mario Kart, aren't very good, the item distribution is unbalanced, and the rubber banding has returned from Mario Kart 64. And the biggest problem, this game copies nearly everything from Mario Kart 64, and that includes items. There's barely any originality in these aspects. But despite this, Mario Kart: Super Circuit is still a decent game. Definitely try it out if you want a game to play on the Game Boy Advance.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U9
Jul 4, 2018
If you want a fighting game for your Wii U, definitely pick this one because it has the biggest selection of fighters, the game is the most balanced Smash game, the visuals are crisp, and the fighting mechanics are the best. It also has a buttload of content to keep you coming back.

Wii Sports Resort is everything that Wii Sports should've been. The sports are really fun to play, my favourite being Table Tennis, definitely check this game out. The new sports are a blast (Basketball aside), and they even returned Bowling and Golf, which was a pretty great decision, since they were my favourite sports in the original Wii Sports.

Sonic: Lost World8
Jun 28, 2018
Sonic Lost World is a pretty good game. Sure, there are some unnecessary gimmicks, and the story ****, but the levels aside from that are pretty fun. And yeah, there's the run button, but I couldn't give two s**ts. The music is also as good as ever. Just buy or rent Lost World.

Crash of the Titans9
Jun 25, 2018
This game is so good, and it's with full 8-directional movement! That's a feat! The gameplay is very unique. It focuses more on beating up enemies, and the gimmick in this game is being able to capture enemies and take control of their abilities. Where have I heard that before? Hmmmmmm? And it actually works well. This is just a great game overall. I don't know what else to say. Go pick it up if you haven't already.

I seriously love Sonic Free Riders to the death. I didn't have a problem with the menus or the controls, the tracks are all fun to play on, the new style of game play is fresh, the graphics are amazing, and the music is as great as ever! Yeah, the story's a piece of s**t, but who plays a racing game for story? My favourite Sonic game.

Mario Kart: Double Dash!!9
Jun 21, 2018
Mario Kart Double Dash reinvents the wheel with two people in one kart. This means that Mario Kart becomes more strategic, because you can switch between items if you get an item box for each character. And that's not all. Each duo has a unique special item. These range from fireballs, to big bananas, and huge Bowser shells. And the tracks are some of the best in the series. DK Mountain, Wario Colosseum, and Daisy Cruiser are examples. My only gripe is the controls, but you'll get used to them eventually. The battle mode is also amazing to play with friends. Whether you're playing Shine Thief in Pipe Plaza, Balloon Battle in Luigi's Mansion, or Bob-omb Blast on a freaking Nintendo GameCube, Battle Mode is always frantic and fun. Mario Kart Double Dash is fun for everyone. Definitely the best multiplayer game for the GameCube (NOTE: I haven't played Super Smash Bros. Melee yet).

Rayman 2: The Great Escape9
Jun 21, 2018
Rayman 2 is, in my opinion, the most underrated 3D platformer ever. The gameplay is unique and fun, the platforming is exquisite, and the tone is just, great. It also has very tight controls that Super Mario 64 didn't give us.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed9
Jun 21, 2018
I think that Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is better than Mario Kart in every way. Every character might have different stats, but they all feel balanced, making this one of the more fair kart racing games. The gimmick of the game is being able to transform into a boat or a plane. This changes up the track in so many ways. I mean, not even the sky is the limit when you have track design around this. And if that wasn't enough, some tracks change the design with each lap, making all the tracks fun and inspired. Now, if only Mario Kart was this fun.

Jun 19, 2018
Coins, coins, coins, COOOIIIIIINNNNSSSS! New Super Mario Bros. 2, while not as amazing as its DS counterpart, took everything good about the first entry and stacked upon it. The level design still remains solid, and the objective of collecting a million coins is insane. And along with the new modes to allow you to play in new ways, New Super Mario Bros. 2 is a fantastic game that everyone should play.

Dragon Land7
Jun 19, 2018
Oh Dragon Land, you could've been a perfect 3D platformer, and not just for phones. Like, everything for success is right there, but the twisted at Social Point just had to add that puzzle game-esque life system, except this time, a life is used every time you play a level. But that could've been its only problem, but Social Point also forced us to pay for levels with gems and coins, both of which are hard to get. Dragon Land is worth purchasing for the first two worlds, but please, do not bother saving up gems just to get extra levels.

Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction9
Jun 19, 2018

Sonic and the Secret Rings5
Jun 19, 2018
This is the most mediocre Sonic game I've ever played. On one hand, the controls ****, the mission structure is awful, the upgrade structure shouldn't have existed just to make the controls better, and you hear the main theme EVERYWHERE! On the other hand, the locales are interesting, the party mode is fun, the bosses are mostly enjoyable, the story is good, and the music is always as good as ever, despite Seven Rings in Hand repeating everywhere. I personally say spend your money on something else. Secret Rings definitely isn't abysmal, but you could've done more with your money.

Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One1
Jun 19, 2018
I found myself unsatisfied after playing this. It's just an uninteresting bore to get through, and gives us mechanics that we have not gotten before, yet they were so unnecessary. The plus side to this is that the story still keeps the same humour we've come to love from the Ratchet and Clank series. Everything else was just awful.

Sonic Heroes9
Jun 13, 2018
Sonic Heroes seriously is a game to purchase if you have a GameCube. The presentation is the best on the GameCube, the team mechanic is innovative, and the level design is so good! The camera, controls, Special Stages, and the team boss fights definitely needed to be fixed, but I just have too much fun playing Sonic Heroes.

Rayman Raving Rabbids: TV Party9
Jun 13, 2018
This may sound absurd, but i actually liked this game. The minigames are fun, and while the sound is compressed, it still is pretty good. If people liked the music from the Game Boy Advance's music, which was also compressed, I can like the music in this game. And the multiplayer is where the game is really, really, fun. When my brother and I both had a DS, we had tons of fun with the minigames.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games10
Jun 13, 2018
Out of all the Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games games, this one is my favourite. It doesn't have a single bad sport in the whole game. And the Adventure Tour mode adds a new way to play. Like Mario Kart DS's mission mode, it needs to return to the newer games!

Sonic Colors10
Jun 8, 2018
Colours (DS) in my opinion is far superior to its Wii counterpart. It plays like a Rush game, but with better level design, better music, better gameplay, better story, and the two new Wisps exclusive to the DS are a blast to play. MY biggest problem is that it's so short, and the Drill controls are trash. This is definitely something I can't recommend enough for your DS collection.

Sonic Advance 38
Jun 5, 2018
Sonic Advance 3 is a pretty good and unique game, with a few issues. The level design is good, the pairing mechanic is solid, and the music is great. However, the controls feel a bit weird and I feel like I can't see what's ahead of me sometimes. Just sometimes though. It's not Genesis (GBA) type of bad. I give Advance 3 a 8/10.

Sonic Advance9
Jun 5, 2018
Sonic Advance is good. But, before I start this review, I don't get why people say this is similar to Sonic CD? It's not, it's similar to the classic games. It has the same physics and level design. So I consider this the real Sonic 4. It has great level design like its predecessors, the presentation is perfect for the Game Boy Advance, and the music is just too good. You can play as 4 characters, the obvious being Sonic, Tails and Knuckles, and the new playable character is Amy. She's an awful character to play as Jus... ju... just don't play as her. Each play style adds for a different experience and it will get challenging regardless of what character you'e playing as.

LittleBigPlanet 38
May 25, 2018
LittleBigPlanet 3 shows a lot of potential, and it's executed quite well. The levels are more creative than its predecessor, the music is masterful, and the Create Mode has more depth. Unfortunately for LBP 3, it has lame bosses, many bugs and long load times. It makes the game disappointing, but still good.

Super Mario 3D World9
May 24, 2018
Super Mario 3D World is a marvel. Fantastic levels, incredible music, beautiful graphics that make the Mona Lisa look like dirt and dust, and the four playable characters all immerse the gameplay. This is a 3D game playing like a 2D Mario game done right.

Wii Sports Club1
May 24, 2018
Wii Sports Club is so f**ked up! The Wii Motion Plus is required, but only makes the game even stiffer, so you're required to buy an accessory to play literal poop. This is my favourite game of all time. Great levels, amazing story, the music is pretty great, the ability to create levels is almost limitless, the amount of amazingly designed levels online, 4 player multiplayer, I COULD JUST GO ON AND ON! The only problem I have with it is that I'm not good at creating levels... Screw it, I CAN'T FIND A SINGLE FLAW ABOUT THIS MASTERPIECE!

Super Mario Sunshine9
May 24, 2018
This is one of the more unique Mario games out there. While the game was limited to the vacation or beach theme (excluding Corona Mountain), Nintendo still managed to get creative with the limited resources. The true innovation to this game is the FLUDD pack. Using this, you can spray water at enemies, and hover in the air for a short time, serving as a double jump. The controls are perfect. They are sensitive, but they feel great once you get used to them. And the secret stages are all a blast to play. This game is definitely difficult... Sometimes for the wrong reasons. Like the secret stage where you have to use Piantas to throw you across platforms, or having to use the boat in Corona Mountain to get across. These are clunky gimmicks that didn't need to be there. Aside from that, Mario Sunshine is one of the best Mario games ever.

Super Mario 6410
May 24, 2018
Wow! What a game! The puzzles are well put together, the music is great, the hub world is the best hub world I've ever been in, Mario is fun to control, and all the worlds are unique and offer up a different, yet fun experience. The only issue I have with the game is the camera, but it was the first true 3D platformer created, so of course the camera is not going to be great. My second favourite Mario game and one of the best 3D platformers ever made. And I didn't grow up with this game nor do I have nostalgia for it, I genuinely love Mario 64.

Sonic Colors7
May 23, 2018
The graphics are fantastic for the Wii, the gameplay is solid, the Wisps add immersion, and the level design is good. But the stages are short, there are too many blocky 2D sections, easy and recycled bosses, and a weak story. Sonic Colours is good, but not really as good as people make it out to be. There are issues that no-one acknowledges, but it's still good.

Sonic Forces7
May 21, 2018
Saying that Forces has a mixed reception is an understatement, but I really enjoyed Forces regardless. The graphics are good, the music is good, you have the ability to create your own OC, which is pretty cool, and the Avatar gameplay is fresh, along with a good story. But the issues come from automated Modern Sonic stages, short levels, Classic Sonic physics are off, and level design overall. But Forces is still pretty cool, and definitely worth the purchase.

May 21, 2018
Nintendo really went all out with this one... But it's not the best entry in the franchise. Mario kart 8 has a large selection of fun tracks, characters and karts, amazing HD visuals, fantastic music, the gravity mechanic and online play that actually works. But, h o w e v e r, the battle mode is the crappiest in the series. but MK8 is still a solid title.

Mario Kart DS10
May 21, 2018
Mario Kart DS is easily the best Mario Kart in existence. It has the best Mario Kart tracks, such as Airship Fortress, Tick Tock Clock, Delfino Square, Luigi's Mansion, and many others, it introduced retro tracks from the prior Mario Karts with some new additions, the second screen having the best map system makes this the most fair Mario Kart ever, the racing is so fast paced that getting hit by a Blue Shell barely slows you down, it has an amazing Battle Mode, and the best part: Mission Mode. This mode has you complete certain tasks and there are plenty of unique ones, like driving through gates, driving backwards, driving through gates backwards, and freaking boss fights! And I don't just mean rival races, I mean actual boss fights! All of this adds up to the most fresh experience you'll ever have in Mario Kart.

Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)10
May 21, 2018
I know this game gets a lot of hate, but I don't really care. I LOVE THIS GAME! I liked the multiple characters, even if some of them aren't that great, the level design is great with the many multiple pathways and allowing exploration, Silver is introduced to the game as a character that doesn't know what to do, but soon develops into something badass, the graphics are pretty good when you look at it, I don't get why people hate them, and I liked the story because of how the characters interact, excluding the plotholes and that kiss, eurgh. I really love the music in this game, it's my favourite Sonic soundtrack, and it has the best final boss of a Sonic game, which I won't spoil. There are some issues with it, like the load times, glitches, slowdown, all of Silver's Dusty Desert, but they're all outshined by the enjoyment I have with it. It was the first Sonic game I ever played, and it's my favourite Sonic game in the main series. Hate on me all you want. It won't change my opinion.
