New Super Mario Bros. 2

With its well-balanced gameplay and the high long-term play value, New Super Mario Bros. 2 offers a nearly perfect Jump & Run experience. The levels and boss fights could be much more difficult.

While it doesn't offer anything new and innovative, the new adventure of Mario is by all means faithful to the high quality standards set by its predecessors.

Mario and Luigi return to their 2D home and the end result is a work that will appeal both to veterans and newcomers.

Whatever the case, New Super Mario Bros. 2 is an ideal second course for 3DS owners that enjoyed Super Mario 3D Land so much.

Don't get me wrong. New Super Mario Bros. 2 is a good game. It just doesn't seem infused with quite the right mix of Mario magic to make it a great game.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 is a single-player construct through and through, and tossing in an extra player doesn't do it many favours, particularly in the limited confines of a handheld screen.

This New Mario is more than ever a gold-hungry race. There's not much novelty there, but an almost shoot'em up like approach to patterns and skill in order to reach the goal of 1 million coins. But the game remains easy, and with the addition of a DLC policy, it seems like even Nintendo itself doesn't care that much anymore for pushing the boundaries of game design and appearing different.

A game that suffers from its reputation like no other. New Super Mario Bros differs fatally from its comrades in some respects. Points that are rarely considered. These include the game's brilliant graphics, which look just too enchanting on the 3DS. It's definitely a good game, which is perfect for playing on the handheld from time to time.

This is the point where the New Super Mario Bros games were getting pretty repetitive recycling so much stuff and so many mechanics from the previously. It's still alright but I would rate it more in the lower side.

Thoses bad sounds clips are too repetitive. I do not like about it on Castle Levels

This is what I consider to be 2d Mario at its worst. New super mario bros 2 is just the 3ds version of New Super Mario bros Wii. It has the same music, bosses and very similar level design. This game is just way too easy. This is like baby's first Mario like seriously this should be on one of those Leapfrog tablets. The game focuses way too much on coins which in my opinion is a very lame topic. Since there are soins everywhere that means it's easy to get lives meaning it's almost impossible to get a Game Over. I have some nostalgia for this game I played it with some friends before. I think it's one of my most played 3ds games but It's just not that great **** compared to other 2d platformers. If you really want a good 2d side scroller play something like Sonic Mania or Mario Wonder not this garbage.
