There is a suspicious amount of 9's and 10's for a decidedly average **** recruitment mechanic is initially fascinating but gets old quickly. After a few days playing,I woke up,played something else, then actually realised I still had this, but had no desire to play more.Perhaps I would have added a point if the cargo drone moved faster than a snail.Standard UBI bore-fest in a decent **** same as the rest really...
Just when I had thought that I was all Borderlanded out, this arrives. With an improved framerate and a literal ton of bonuses, this upgrade cannot be ignored if your're a fan.
Visually stunning,Ghost is a rare game that prizes art direction over graphical fidelity and that's just fine by me.Combat is fantastic and I found the lack of a lock-on refreshing, although the camera can be janky at **** to have an open-world without excessive bloat (Looking at you Ubisoft) such as level gating, endlessly repetitive missions and crafting is a little strange but not unwelcome.Stealth is almost the same as Tenchu from 1998,so it's basic but effective.Tools, upgrades, charms etc are pretty good, but only having 6 charm slots and 40+ charms so far (55 or so hours) seems silly. Also, not having dedicated clothing set quickchange options for combat, stealth and travelling becomes annoying.Customising your characters appearance is gorgeous, but limited to skins on 4 weapons total, and less than a dozen clothing sets. However, hats and masks are **** least that aspect of the game is free.I can think of many publishers who insist on disgustingly expensive skins and **** story is decent without being awe inspiring.Exploration is the best thing about this game,as is the combat **** simply feel great playing it.I'm actually using photo mode for the first time in game and it's really great. This is a game all must play.
A great game that had the perfect **** Bethesda continues to skydive without a parachute,a Fallout type of game comes out from a former ****'s just too **** game itself is good without being **** has a cool space theme, but I simply prefer the **** biggest difference is that the Outer Worlds has no bugs which is a bit of a shock **** other big difference is that OW's weapons are pretty crap and boring.Fallout weapons are far more interesting in variety.Anyway, play it while you watch Bethesda hit the ground at full speed.
The opening hour is just fantastic. However, the game just fufills its destiny and becomes what it really is after **** average, well made game dressed as Star Wars and influenced by much better games..Most of the excitement comes from the shock that It's from EA and has no microtransactions(Yet).Still, this a good step towards something players have actually wanted for more than a decade,KOTOR 3 or Jedi Academy 2.
I've "wasted" my time playing video games for nearly 40 years and never felt I've wasted all that much really.Until this pile of dog **** ego driven, self indulgent orgy of nonsense dressed as a supermodel on bikini day.I had to line up behind many others eager to return this drivel to a very uncomfortable game shop manager who had purchased too many copies.I'm more pleased with my copy of E.T on the 2600 and Superman 64 than I am with whatever the hell this **** a game.
Absolutely magnificent.Exactly the game I wanted, with more greatness to **** only problems I've experienced on the Pro with resolution mode are constant texture and menu lag.Perhaps it's Television issues for other players?Despite 2K and Randy's idiocy during the games lead-up,it's the Devs themselves that should be proud, not those other **** weapons, humour, vehicles, enemy and character variety are **** "Gamers" can just accept the game itself without pre-conceived bias for a change, that'd be **** them especially.
An incredible game.Beautiful, fluid and brutal.Gameplay,no matter your skill level is exciting and fun with the Fatalities and numerous Brutalities being over the top gross and funny as **** krypt was fun to explore at first and now becomes a grinding chore for gear and skins if you have some need to collect them all for some reason.Online is the best it's ever been and after 100 hours and a thousand battles,i've experienced no lag or disconnects, making the netcode the best I've seen.I've even had just 2 quitalities, which is **** seems as though players just want to play and few care about their rank which is **** took me a while to calm down over my favourite characters missing.Mileena,Shang Tsung,Ermac for example, also Cyrax and Sektor, whom seem to be playable in the future, sadly as paid dlc.Despite this, there's plenty of others to practise and play as so I'll forgive the lapse this one time NRS.
I miss when Devs would make the game they wanted, not what research and marketing think we want.Rage 2 has the dullest open world since Mafia 3 and the main difference between Rage and Rage 2 is that it simply takes longer to drive to the core loop.I also miss the mini games from the first game. These, combined with races and MBTV at least made a corridor shooter a little more **** open world game needs variety and a lot of weapons, tools and loot, none of which this game has.Sure it has some powers (If you call double jump a power,),but sadly they are mostly dull and the player has to work really hard to eek some fun out of this lifeless shooter.Characters and story are uninteresting and I coundn't have cared less who anyone was or what they said. That includes my own incredibly generic "Ranger" who is Joe or Jane **** least the shooting itself is expectedly solid.
Wow,it's been a long time since I've made such a poor gaming choice, but this is one of those **** a good 3 hours I thought i had downloaded the wrong game.Perhaps I had purchased an old Ps3 JC by mistake?Nope,This is the ****'s a Ps2 game in a Ps3 **** cover, embarrasslingly poor graphics,in particular the textures, and no mini map.I had little idea where I going, what I was doing or why.I could barely distinguish between good guys and bad **** vehicles, though varied and interesting, are **** to control,as are the weapons.I'm really trying to find some positives about this game, but ****'s all crap and I regret getting it.
A minor improvement over **** Naval elements are most welcome, but the endless, boring, repetitive tasks remain.Once you clear a few bandit camps or forts, the mind dulls when you see many, many more. There are some great characters in it for a change and much of the game is **** seem reluctant to dismiss the rubbish modern storyline totally so there's 20 min of that for some reason.Like most UBI games there is much to like, and also much to **** must be 10 or so games into this series and none have been truly memorable or **** should learn from that....
A fine, welcome new direction for this series.Though the Witcher series is miles ahead of it,AC:O is a very good game with a fantastic setting.Tons of endlessy repetitive busy work mars what another year of development could have **** that the next game in the series is out,the only character I really remember is **** rest kind of fade into obscurity.Good stuff though.
i really want to give it a ten,but I **** main missions are **** they're not restrictive, then they're boring.Missions are often failed because the player cannot be aware of the **** can loot dead enemies SOMETIMES,but not always before a mission parameter fails you.Getting out of an invisible range of something or someone can fail **** you don't follow a missions instructions precisely, you **** is infuriating...I'm fine with the achingly slow hunting and upgrade systems, and also the never endingly annoying weapon equiping everytime you do anything, including getting on and off the horse sometimes, after cut-scenes,camping,skinning,looking in another direction, thinking, conversations etc. However,I cannot forgive the basically on-rails missions, all 105 of **** the epilogue draaaags more than the Lord of the Rings ending if you can believe that!Wanna give it ****'t...
Visually spectacular, but brings nothing new to **** is heavily influenced by The Last Of Us and the Uncharted **** fact, they're almost the same games in different costumes...Nevertheless,this is a fantastic experience and must be **** combat system is nuanced, but **** story and acting are fine, with great enemy variety and **** exploration and side mission structure are great and the game as a whole shouldn't be missed.
Magnificent.Though a few old favourite elements of mine are gone (poker, skinning animations, some hunting and crafting elements, weapon deg etc),the series really needed a **** new mission structure is excellent,as is the fantastic characters and acting.I was initially hestitant regarding the setting, but now it's difficult to believe it could be set anywhere else.Everything fits like a glove and I loved the story, which surprised **** Seed family being particulary ****-op is a real highlight.Playing with a friend is probably the best thing about FC5,and sharing the experience with another person should be a feature in many games of this nature. From the beginning of the game, even though the game mildy guides you, simply pick a direction and go for it.Craft your own **** looks and feels awesome and time flies by while playing.I would like a harder, survivalist type difficulty and live in FC5 for some time, with more repercussions for dying.Other than that,it's a ten for mine.
A genuinely excellent game marred by a lootbox system. While it's true that they are not necessary, the endgame is clearly designed to "encourage" players who have little time or patience to repetitively grind, and to purchase fast tracks to success. This is **** after spending a huge amount of time(In the pits mostly) grinding my way to 100% completion,I'll give this game a 10 for the first 80%,minus 5 for the insidious, predatory single player lootbox system.
Despite it's many technical issues,Andromeda can be very good game most of the **** character customisation and animations during conversations and cutscenes are rubbish and are difficult to ignore. Some dialogue and voicework is also pretty poor. However, the exploration, combat, crafting, weapons, armour and vehicle are all very good,The main missions are good without being great, but some of the side and incidental missions are dull beyond belief. Some of your crew are really great people, with a couple being uninteresting and whom you'll never bother with unless you have **** worlds you visit and Andromeda's general atmosphere are excellent with a real feeling of belonging in your surroundings and is the games best part. With the time and money involved in this game, you'd expect the greatness that just eludes it.
Yes!DOOM!The speed and soundtrack are **** takes me back to the original game while blasting Pantera or Slayer full ball...A nice reminder on how games used to be and DOOM certainly has a place in the modern industry.
I love the new **** with RE4( one of the best games ever made),a shift in direction brings Capcom back into the ****,it's way too short and can feel like an extended demo but the future now looks bright for survival horror.Triple the length, add some more enemies and locations and the sequel has the potential to be a masterpiece!
I've enjoyed my time with HZD,but there's little that's new or compelling.Sure, the Robots are great but the quests, especially side quests, are boring.Talk to a tribesperson you don't care about or even remember their name repeatedly and do some busy work for a little **** overall story is good, but comes in patches over a long period so you're rarely in it story wise,it just pops up from time to time. This is because of a lack of open world experience from the Devs or at least too much of an action focus. However,it's a fine first attempt.Graphics and sound design are excellent, but gameplay needs some tweaks,as well as the inventory ****'s not a real concern as I expect the sequel to be much better.
Unsurprisingly excellent.Great level design, visuals, sound and powers.Enemies are tougher with decent A.I.There are a lot of nooks and crannies to explore, expanding the game if you **** anything could have been better,it would have been a mission that only Corvo could play, and that only Emily could play inserted around mission 5 or 6 to make the game just a bit more of a compelling replay experience besides a low/high chaos run.Changing the voice of the Outsider was very jarring and a mistake.Overall it's a great addition to the franchise, albeit with several huge errors on the part of the devs.
Meh,It's more Gears, and that's all it is.I'd argue that it's better than judgement but nowhere near as good as the first 2.I hated the first act with a **** almost endless waves of robotic enemies were extremely boring.Multi is fine, but you'll be playing with either noobs or shotgun surgeons.Forgettable.
Great value for the best series ever **** original has had quite a bit of work done while the others have had a fair upgrade I ****'t forget the magnificent Minerva's Den or even the less good Burial at Sea.Players who haven't experienced these before are in for a treat.
How can such an excellently crafted world with a brilliant soundtrack and decent driving and shooting turn into such a snooze fest with the most repetetive mission structure seen for quite some time?Granted, the prologue and a few missions are a little different but come on!I just don't understand how the developers built a fantastic world to play in but forgot to put the play into it.Unforgiveable.Points for soundtrack and world only.
I found this to be initially interesting and enjoyable, especially visually, until around 5 systems and 20 explored planets in,where I realised that this was the sum of the game. There is no building, and ship customisation is pathetically only +1,+2 lasers etc with no visual upgrades at **** may find or buy ships but can't sell yours for some reason.Combat is nothing but an annoyance and it seems that you are the only player in the entire **** over-hype from gaming websites and magazines has turned this essentially $25 Indie title into a full priced disaster. This is essentially a repetitive inventory management 'game'.Boring.
A gorgeous and well made story driven adventure that boils down to lots of climbing and cover shooting, albeit in a truly spectacular **** is dull, though I doubt many buy Uncharted for that.A fine ending for a fine series.
Another excellent Souls game.More brutality, beautiful vistas, running away, hair pullng frustration, mighty triumphs,oh so close defeats and victories in the most polished game in the **** mechanics are cool as are the wealth of items at your disposal. Also, damn Farrons keep, damn it to hell.Veterans can find a challenge here, newbies can only pray or be prey.Haha
More excellence from **** long wait was worth it with fine new adventures in a new land. There is more substance in this expansion than many full priced games and it's to the devs credit that they have been generous to gamers, unlike most others who want to nickel and dime you to tears.I do think that Vineyard management could have been done a lot better with more finely tuned upgrades, missions and management features etc and why there isn't multiplayer Gwent or even a phone App is beyond **** love Gwent dammit!Nevertheless,a great addition to a masterpiece
The setting is the real winner here with the very familiar Far Cry gameplay beginning to get a little repetitive.Becoming a Beastmaster is great, despite the fact that taming is far too simplistic.A bit of meat, hold a button and bam,Beastmaster in no **** game also lacks decent characters.Where is Primals Vaas? The Shaman was decent but the Hurk-like character was beyond stupid and insulting to the people represented in Primal.I didn't bother picking up all the little blue thingies,I have done it many times before and the benefits are trivial.Despite this,Primal remains an enjoyable game,at least until something better comes along.
What has happened to the once brilliant RPG series? This is more an average FPS than anything else. Most missions consist of 'go here, kill everything, come **** **** 'dialogue' options are fantastic (press X to sarcasm) No really, they are (press B to sarcasm) .A couple of aspects I loved were the weapons, armour and the world itself, but the very light RPG elements(no skills, weapon deg, karma) and the missions were lacking and I grew tired of trudging from A to B just to kill a dozen enemies dozens of times.Developers really need to stop dumbing down great franchises just to cater to the military shooter goons in the hopes of increased **** Face...
It's a fantastic DLC,well worth the small asking price.Besides the expected new weapons, armour, quests etc,it contains a truly brilliant main story and excellent characters, music and **** Witcher (and CDPR) keep on giving in what is now,I have decided, the greatest video game I've ever experienced (4 times so far).Blood and Wine cannot come soon enough...Masterful.
Mad Max turned out to be a lot better than I expected.Though the gameplay systems are overly familiar,I have been loving it.I've collected the same nonsense and fought the the same enemies and heard the same ol' story many times before, but in this game everything feels right.Water, fuel and scrap do feel like they would be very important in Max's world and while vehicle combat is ok (I would have loved to fit some machine guns to the Opus) and melee is average, the game as a whole simply works for me.Easily worth it.
I really enjoyed Until Dawn.Although any story twists and shocks barely raised an eyebrow on this horror **** an interactive movie,it's a great success, but as a video game it is less **** really needed more meaningful interaction besides QTE and conversation choices.Sadly, all of the characters were dull and predictable, though it was hard to dislike Sam and Emily was obviously designed to be despised by every player( Just die you b**ch) .Still,it deserves a better sequel with better writing that doesn't treat it's audience like foolish horror amateurs...
This is a Masterpiece.I've never been a MGS fan, though 4 was good, but this game, despite it's slowish start turned out **** options to play as you wish are all there.Want that S rank?Play slow and stealthy like a Ninja.Want to call in air support and bombardments and go in guns blazing?Go for it!.Want to go half 'n' half?Yep!Want to skip the annoying credits after each mission? You can!Online features are minimal at this stage, though I'd expect a Battle Royale or two in there hopefully. Some game systems can be opaque at first and it will take some time to get that weapon you're craving but it's all worth it in the ****'s not as masterful as The Witcher 3,but is a GOTY contender nonetheless.Play it!
A very good game held down by over-use of the Batmobile.Seriously, after a dozen drone fights you will be frustrated with the unchallenging and repetitive nature of the shoehorned tank **** rest of the game is excellent all round except for a few uninspired 10min side **** you played the Harley Quinn mission you'd be forgiven for wondering what the hell was that?Well,it was 8min of mediocrity in the worst dlc since horse **** for the ridiculous season ****.
One of the most amazing and well crafted games I've ever **** attention to detail is astonishing.Graphics, sound, story and side quests are all excellent.Monster design is without **** world is masterly crafted and you simply have to play it.
It's bloody, brutal and a great fighter.Story mode is not as good as MK9,but the visuals, animations and online features are greatly **** three modes for each fighter are a great addition,as are the various towers and faction **** mode is the real meat and potatoes here and killing characters from around the globe never gets old.Play it!
Sunset Overdrive is a colourful, fun and humourous game which is enjoyable from start to finish.Great weapons and respawns are a highlight,as well as a fine soundtrack. While there is some repetitious missions, you'll likely be too busy having fun to care.
Unsurprisingly brilliant, though it is a little shorter and a little easier than previous titles.Fantastic design all over.I expect the astonishing load times and minor glitches will be soon fixed,so I can't really complain.Just when you think you've seen everything,an undiscovered door or passage is found and the city is a wonder to **** studio has really become a powerhouse with a matching reputation.Fine work indeed.
A fantastic remake of an exquisite game occaisionally let down by imprecise **** new difficulty settings would be welcomed by some, though the only way to play this game is on hard.Exoddus please!
With significant improvements graphically and musically,as well as dozens of subtle changes and upgrades,GTA V remains a true masterpiece of gaming.Simply walking, running, flying, swimming and driving around absorbing the fantastic atmosphere is one of the great joys of this video game.
The best survival horror games,Resident Evil 4,Dead Space and Silent Hill 3(not 2,I know I know) were games where I truly wanted to survive.I didn't care about this games frights or surviving **** developers designs to shock me were **** monster designs instilled mirth, rather than **** your resource management skills are as high as any 13 year old gamer you will waltz through this game with nary a scratch, except for the overly scripted moments ('to teach you a lesson') where you can't help but NOT SURVIVE,at least during your first run through.I'll say it again.Truly great survival horror is dead. There is a small hope for the future though...
Much better than previous efforts from **** side missions are a high point,as is the movement.I had a really good time with Dying Light, despite my expectations.Darkness made me nervous. That hasn't happened for quite some time...Nice work.
I like DLC.Sometimes I want an extra weapon, character or mission.Sometimes I even want a skin. This, however, seems more like an **** experiment to test the limits **** patience. Also how much we will pay for something that should have been already in a game in the first place.I won't talk about the game itself **** has left a truly foul taste in my mouth...
In response to my somewhat picky review of FC3,the developers showed up a couple of nights ago with FC4.Play it they said sternly.Drink this energy drink, eat these snacks they **** I did,and after 30 hours and just starting to scratch the surface they B slapped me to the ground and screamed 'Is that what you wanted'? It **** contest,GOTY.
I spent a lot of time playing ****,it is a teaser of what's to come and very expensive, but it has some of the best stealth ever seen.Slow, purposeful and difficult at times,I really have enjoyed it,but cannot wait for the real thing.
I've always preferred the real thing.Tables such as Elvira:Mistress Of The Dark and Addams Family have always been my favourites. That's why I purchased them. However Sorcerers Lair and a couple of the Star Wars tables are up there with them. This has renewed my faith in digital pinball.A very good game with endless fun.
I regard The Silmarillion as the finest collection of stories ever conceived, along with the rest of the great mans work,so it was with great trepidation that I approached this games lore.Despite some inconsistencies,Monolith have done a respectful and masterful **** game itself is fantastic and Uruk slaying never becomes anything less than awesome.Their variance in appearance and speech are brilliantly done.Stealth is great,as are the powers and story.S.O.M reminds me more of Far Cry 3 more than any other game due to its structure, though movement and some combat are reminiscent of the games most have alluded **** who cares!Gird yourself with sword, dagger and bow, power up and kill you Nemesis.Truly amazing.
I cannot believe that I must say that I hated this.I did not enjoy playing as Elizabeth at **** tears?Pretend stealth?Irrationals ridiculous 'circle of life' to make ends meet just as they close the studio?Look,Bioshock is still the greatest game ever created by quite a distance.Infinite is close behind,as is Minervas's Den.I've read the novel a half dozen times and I followed B2's build-up closely.Theres's almost nothing that I don't love or know about all of it.Friends, forgive my lowly ****'ll probably never see or hear of Columbia again.Giving it a 5 BECAUSE it's Bioshock is humiliating for me...
