This game is definitely a downgrade from its predecessor. The only reason for this is it's minigames. Minigames are the main reason you play a Mario Party games so when they're just mediocre at best, it ruins the entire game. My rating might be a bit confusing for what I just said, but the game is better in literally every other aspect. Boards, characters, single player, and balancing. It's not even that the minigames are insanely bad, I just find myself wanting to play MP2's minigames more.

I don't understand why this game isn't rated better. Out of all the Mario Party games I've played, this is undoubtedly the best. It's unbelievable unbalanced, has the best range and quality of games, and has so many creative and fun maps. I may be a bit biased since this is the first Mario Party I've ever played but I don't think that has much to do with it.

Not that great. I've played and enjoyed almost all Mario Party games, including the other two on the N64, there's just something about this one. It feels so much blander and uninspired than the others, the minigames are never something I find myself wanting to play, and the games feel as though they stretch on forever.

It's a decent game that started one of the most popular gaming series ever. This would have one hundred percent been rated higher by me if it weren't for how much better all the newer ones are. I never find myself wanting to go back to this one.

Read my NSMB U game review. This game is exactly the same but even more bland due to it being an exact copy of the Wii U version. This is close to being rated worse than the original copy.

It's just okay. This is the fourth entry in this series and it has added nothing new. The levels are still well designed and fun but I find myself enjoying all the previous games more. Thank goodness Nintendo has finally fixed this issue.

I haven't played all the NSMB games but out of all of them, this is undoubtedly the second best one. NSMB Wonder took away its number one spot. I can't think of any flaws in this game except for the boss fights. I do agree that they are bland and boring but I like to ignore it since this game reintroduced the Koopalings from SMW.

I don't really understand why. Every time I list all the Mario Kart games I always forget about this one. I can't explain why, it has good tracks, music, graphics, and a decent character roster. Yet I find it so unmemorable and boring at some times. I can somehow recall Super Circuit over this one.

An all time classic. As classic as this game may be that doesn't make its flaws any better. The biggest flaw is the computers ability to cheat. The computers are the one reason I struggle to ever boot this game up by myself. The multiplayer is unbelievably fun with friends though.

It's more fun Mario Kart 8 with new characters including some we've never seen in the franchise before. It does have some faults, for instance, I find some of the tracks to be somewhat thrown together and not that well thought out like a community mod. I have also been wanting Kirby in these games for forever and his absence from new characters added was very disappointing.

It's just really good Mario. It's a bunch of short levels with fun new power ups which is great for a handheld console. I do find it quite forgettable but replaying it is always fun.

It's the original but better. I do think that the original looks better in some situations but it never really affects gameplay. Speaking of which has been improved by adding a new sail to make your ship faster and shortening the Triforce quest. I would recommend getting this one over the original.

This is a really fun franchise and game. You can feel the amount of creativity that went into every single one of the games. But I unfortunately don't find these games all too appealing. I spent maybe a month or two on this game before forgetting I even owned it.

This is a game of constant fun. I love Mario Kart Wii and this game is the only other Mario Kart game to come close to recapturing that magic. It really does feel like a console game on the go with the amount of tracks, missions, and characters there are. I recommend.

It's a good Mario Kart game but nothing compared to its predecessors. Going from something like Mario Kart Wii to this makes it feel quite bland and basic. It's still a really good experience, it has good tracks, and won't aggravate you as often as other games in the franchise.

Definitely my least favorite of the Mario series. Its a decent game but nothing that I think I'll ever replay. When 100%ing it there are way too many random difficulty spikes which got annoying real quick. The blue coins are miserable and a terrible attempt at increasing play time.

The best game in its respective series. This game throws so many fun and interesting ideas at you. It never overuses its ideas and usually leaves you wanting more. This is probably why I've replayed and 100%ed it two or three times already. I highly recommend it to anyone no matter if you like Mario or not.

I have had an absurd amount of fun in this game. I have 100%ed it, replayed it, and 100%ed it again. I love the difficulty and have never gotten overly aggravated while playing. I 100% recommend you to play it.

Why is this game so highly rated? I had ten minutes of fun with it and haven't touched it since. Why is it so high up?

It's just a really good Smash game. I'm not really a fan of this franchise but I've had my fun with this one. Online play is always a nightmare for me and the story mode isn't the best. (I love the sub space emissary from Brawl)

Unsurprisingly this is my least favorite game in the Mario Kart franchise. I find it impossible to control on both original and newer hardware, it's close to impossible to 100% it, and the computers are unbelievable aggravating. This game has nothing good going for it but I understand how revolutionary it must have been at the time to have Mario Kart on the go.

This is my favorite of the original dungeon format Zelda games. Its the first Zelda game I ever 100%ed and there was never a dull moment. I was never bored, the bosses are great, and I'm a psychopath who likes motion controls. I do understand that others don't agree and I personally don't like the story which is what brings it down to an eight. (I don't really care for story though)

This is just my personal experience and opinion. I've heard great things about this game in both its story and gameplay but I don't personally see it. I already don't really care for story in games and paired with what I think is just mediocre gameplay leaves me wanting to play something else. I have it at a four because I have friends that say otherwise about this game.

An all time classic with addicting gameplay and memorable levels. I have replayed this game on original hardware and remastered copies more times than I can count. I can't find anything genuinely bad about it that isn't due to the hardware's limits.

This is the most replayable game I have ever played. It has something for everyone and you can add endless mods to match you're exact requirements. It also has insane multiplayer capabilities. My only problem with the game is how it separates its two versions, Java and Bedrock. Bedrock feels so limited and doesn't have any of the major gameplay mechanics that make the game worse in my eyes. The creators are trying to fix this issue though.

Just an all around good Mario game. There's nothing that really stands out about it but it doesn't need anything because of its great and fun level design. I do dislike the need to replay the entire game with all the different characters but it was only a minor nuisance and I eventually 100%ed it.

I'm not that into this franchise and this is one of the few smash games I've actually played. I grew up with it so I am a bit biased but I've also only played Ultimate and 3DS besides it. I've heard people say that it's the worst in the series and maybe I'll have that same opinion after I've played the rest. (probably won't since I hate handheld games)

Undoubtedly the best game in the franchise. It has good and memorable levels, great multiplayer, better gameplay/vehicles. I've heard the story isn't as good but I don't care for stories in games. I don't have friends.

It's just rereleased Zelda. I prefer playing games on their original consoles.

I've played through the series and found the unique gameplay refreshing but always just found the games okay. I don't know why but all the games are basically the same to me and I wouldn't prefer one over the other. I would recommend though just for the unique gameplay.

Its just Ocarina of Time but on the go. I don't like handhelds and would prefer to play it on original hardware which is my only problem with it.

I keep forgetting this game exists. I have only played it on the Wii which might be part of the problem. I had fun playing through and 100%ing it but really only thought it was a mediocre game. I also don't really care for story in games and the constant cutscenes really just aggravated me if anything. I should probably learn the lore since I was really confused about Midna through the whole thing. (she's definitely one of my least favorite Zelda characters)

IDK why. I have heard that this game is the best in the series and was really excited for it. I have played it on the N64, 3DS, and Switch all of which I thought were underwhelming. I don't really like the whole day cycle thing and find it limiting. The only reason I rated it this high is because I've heard others praise it and so I don't get death threats.

This is just as good as Halo CE. It fixes some issues like multiplayer, story, and levels but it also made other things worse. I personally think it looks worse, the Flood are more annoying for some reason, and I hate the new health system. I also don't care for story and always skip cutscenes.

This game is really good at being a Zelda game. There's nothing that stands out to me but I did enjoy it better than other games in this franchise for some reason. I like the art-style and the more open world aspect. I prefer the HD version since there's a fast sail.

This is Breath of the Wild but more. Thats all I really have to say. I do wish that the story was better as well as the dungeons. They did fix my boss problem.

I understand that this game is considered one of the greats but I can't play it. I have attempted to boot this game up on both my N64 and Switch but on both consoles I lack any motivation to play it. There is no progression tracker in the game as far as I am concerned which always makes me feel like I'm wasting my time. I also really dislike how it controls but I understand that is due to the hardware it's on.

I was torn between giving this game either a 8 or 9. One one hand this game revolutionized shooters and introduced gameplay mechanics used in every single FPS game to this day. On the other, the game can be quite a downgrade from its younger brothers, most notably Halo 3. The maps are also reused in the second half of the game andI always let out an audible groan when I have to play the Library.

One of, if not the best games of all time. This game is so fun and addicting, I can't just start a new game file and collect one or two moons. I HAVE TO COLLECT THEM ALL. Every time I restart I have something to do for the next week. HIGHLY recommend.

I do think that this game is good and I have friends that would say its the best. The only reason I rate it so low is because of my own preferences. I find this game quite boring and haven't even been able to bring myself to finish the first dungeon. If it wasn't a Metroid game and didn't have such remarkable reviews I would have definitely rated it lower.

this game deserves to be one of the all time greatest games. It does still have its flaws, most notably its garbage dungeons and repetitive bosses. I HATE RAIN SO MUCH

Just more top quality Mario Galaxy. There are a ton of new and creative ideas that don't overstay their welcome. It's better than its predecessor in every way. I would still recommend the original Mario Galaxy for unknown reasons. (probably biased)

One of, if not the best game ever created. I am biased and grew up with it. I will admit it has some flaws but those flaws will not change my score.

Decent game. Had my fun playing through and 100%ing it but would prefer to play newer titles.
