A multi-player hit. Believe me people, you and your friends will spend hours on end battling it out to the very end. Whether it's 2 on 2 or if you think you're a badass 3 on 1.

A highly addictive and satisfying game. Super Smash Bros. is a classic game for the Nintendo 64. If you haven't played it or its successor, and there certainly aren't many of you kinds of people, what are you waiting for? Do it!

Fast paced and accessible to everyone. Nintendo of America were mad to consider not releasing this game in the US. Any doubts about it's quality should be cast out of your mind. It's fun, addictive and it's got a superb multi-player mode.

It’s weird going back to this game since there’s been so much more content added since then. This was still a pretty solid game and honestly, can’t wait to play Melee next.

The gameplay mechanics are good, but the colors are very dull, it freezes a lot in emulators, and none of the characters look like they do in the real game.

The idea for this game ("What if your beloved Nintendo characters fought each other in a game?") was brilliant, it was something a lot of us wanted, but perhaps we thought only die-hard Nintendo fans would enjoy. The fact that it has become one of Nintendo's biggest franchises, while it may seem obvious right now, it would feel kinda crazy in the late 90s. This was a great introduction to this idea though. The graphics may be a bit dated, but the mechanics were fun and intuitive, and it's one of those games you can play so many times and you have a different experience each time, even if you play it with the same people (or by yourself). I'm not the biggest fan of multi-player games or modes, but this one does it well.

I will still give this game at 10 or 10 because of its cool jam Pat's thriller of a very first game of its time and literally saying that it will have got some stuff to it where you play the campaign and also beat the master hand who is the one and only boss in this game who puts up a really interesting fight but like I say it also still good for me it's as well for friend nights over and literally still has its good challenges as well to give you

Simple, intuitive, and very easy to pick up on! If you liked the multiplayer interaction of Mario Party, are eager to see classic Nintendo characters beat each other senseless, or are starved for a fighting game, then this is the one for you!

It'll never be confused with "Street Fighter" or "Tekken," but then again it was never meant to. Nevertheless, it’s the most original fighting game on the market and possibly the best multiplayer game on any system.

Considering the state of fighting games for the N64, Super Smash Brothers is actually high in its class. While the single player mode gets tiresome, it's a fun multi-player game and is worth a look.

Low-grade crap pretending to be a Nintendo star-studded event. Even though it appears to be a culmination of many fantastic Nintendo games, it simply isn’t even close to resembling anything remotely good.

A good beginning to the franchise that showcase why it will eventually become in one of the best franchises ever. But I played this game after Brawl and 4 so to me this feels like a lesser game. Really good for its time but compared to what the franchise will do after it is obvious that the best came after this game
