Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright5
May 12, 2026
The Most Dysfunctional Story of All Time. I just don't even have anything to say about this game. Every map I played is erased from my brain. They weren't awful, but they were so generic. The only reason you remember Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright is the god-awful **** saving grace of Fates is really how they expanded on the gameplay outside the battles. This is the highlight of the game. The two sides have different classes, which is also fun. Hoshidan classes are a really welcome addition. These classes are more offensively orientated as compared to the older classes. The Master Ninja and Basara are my favourite. You get a castle that you can customise as you progress. You can have shops, a Colosseum in the castle. There are also some new buildings like a prison where you can recruit enemy units. The castle stuff is the best part of the game. Reclassing is also more satisfying than awakening. There is also fan service, which I appreciate. You have private quarters where you can interact with other characters. You get special cutscenes if the character is your spouse. Camilla also exists and just makes the game better. Her cutscene is awesome. I also love Felicia. She is so cute. Aside from these, it is bad or average. I will play the other games, but it's probably going to be the same.

Trials of Mana8
Apr 23, 2026
I haven't played the original Trials of Mana, but I have played Secret of Mana. The original, not the cheap remake. The Mana games are very simple games with simple stories and a good gameplay loop. They expanded on the gameplay loop, and now there are more things to do in-game. There are more classes to keep playing, and they are all very different and give you an incentive to do more playthroughs. I wish there were more action RPGs like this. Trials of Mana has six characters from which you can choose 3. Depending on the main character and the side characters you pick, the story changes slightly. You can also see the 3 characters you didn't pick in the world, and they also play a role in the story. So you can experience the story a little differently depending on which combination of characters you pick. The story largely is the same, but still it gives it reply value. All six characters have different classes, and they all have class trees, so there are so many different ways to play this game. The story is very simple and unimportant; it's just there to serve the gameplay. In that sense it's fine enough. Trials of Mana's biggest improvement over Secret of Mana is this aspect of playing different characters. It's great! The characters are quite varied, and none of them are bad to use; they are all pretty fun. I went with Riesz, Angela and Duran. Because I wanted the two cute wifus with me. Riesz was my main character, and she is best girl. Their arcs are fine enough for what this is. A better story would be cool, but then the various different paths and endings would be harder to execute. A simple story and characters give you more freedom to do different paths and classes for different characters. The character designs are also quite good. I love Angela's and Riesz's designs for obvious reasons, and their higher-class outfits are also cute. The others are also good. I appreciate the character designs and the jiggle physics very **** gameplay is really good. It's an improvement over the SNES games. In the old Mana games there was always so much going on on the screen. Here you get more moves as you level up, and it won't feel like you are just button mashing all the time. The ring menu is still here, and you need to pause every time to access spells and items. This constant pausing the game is slightly annoying. There is a skill tree for each character, and this gives you more options to customise your characters along with different classes. You can also get hidden skills from talking to NPCs. Overall there is a lot of extra stuff to do in this game. I think that's what JRPGs like these that focus more on gameplay need. The biggest problem with the gameplay is the camera. The camera sometimes has a mind of its own, especially in narrow corridors. Your party members don't help you that much during boss fights; it's almost better to fight bosses without them. Other than that, the gameplay is pretty **** world-building is much better than Secret of Mana. It's not amazing or anything, but the game makes you feel like you are in a whimsical world. The art style is also excellent. I love how good this game looks at certain parts of the world. The colours just pop in some areas. The enemy design could have been better, though. The enemies look kind of lame. They are all cute, and that suits the game, but I didn't like it. The main complaint I have with the game is the glitches and pop-ins. I think it's because it's the Android version, and I hope they fix all the bugs. There is also a weird bug where you get a low framerate during a cutscene, but the framerate becomes normal when you touch the screen. It makes no sense. Overall I liked Trials of Mana a whole lot more than I expected. It's a really good action RPG with a lot of replay value, and I hope Square makes more of these games.

Pokemon TCG Pocket6

It's a very basic game. There isn't really anything more to this than collecting. But it does do that one thing well. The cards all look really cool, and the cards that have art that zooms in and moves around are fun. You can get 2 every day, but for more packs, you need hourglasses, which the game gives you a lot of. So you don't really need to spend any money. There are binders that you can make which display your cards with a cool background. You can share these with other players, which I think is neat.
Battling relies too much on RNG. You can battle as much as you want. There is no energy needed for battle. You can also do solo battles. The game will make themed decks that you can battle. The trading has pretty big problems. You cannot communicate with the other person what card you want or what they want. You just hope they like what you gave them. Trade tokens are also harder to obtain than other items. So trading should be **** Pocket is only about collecting and not much else. But it does do that one thing very well.***Battling is really bad***

This version has so many bugs. There are multiple instances where the game just froze, and I had to do the mission all over again. For a legendary game like this, the port should have been better. The auto-aiming **** and makes some missions harder than they already are. More should have been done to improve the dated aspects of the original. The worst mobile port that Rockstar has ever done. I know this game hasn't aged that well. It does feel outdated compared to later entries of GTA. But still, this game was revolutionary for all open-world games. GTA 3 lets you do missions more creatively. Its story has a much faster pace than other GTAs. I also like how every character in this game is a crazy psychopath. Liberty City in general has a darker atmosphere compared to later entries.Rockstar took a big risk with this game, and you need to give them respect for that. I think this is one of the greatest games of all time.

Final Fantasy III (3D Remake)7

Final Fantasy 3 is very different from others in the franchise. It doesn't have a lot of characters or a big epic story. But it does have one of the best gameplays of any final fantasy. The job system makes the battles more interesting than your typical final fantasy game. It doesn't have grand animations or anything, but different jobs have different stats and will change the way you play. There are always moments in final fantasy games where the turn-based combat just becomes boring. In this game, each section of the story rewards you with 4 or 5 jobs that you can use at anytime and change how you play. The one thing I didn't like about the job system is that you can't change jobs fully immediately; you need to do certain amounts of battles before you can use the job. This is just unnecessary. The jobs you get at the end are level 1, so you need to grind to use them properly; this is also very **** game rewards you with tones of weapons and armour throughout a dungeon; this makes them very fun to go through. The dungeons and the towns have a lot of secret passages, so it's rewarding to explore everything. The game is difficult, which I liked, except for not giving me save points before bosses. I don't want to go through the dungeon again; that is just annoying. The bosses are also average design-wise.

Castlevania: Circle of the Moon5
Oct 2, 2024
This game is just annoying the movement is slow, the enemies are annoying, the bosses are **** card dss system is a good idea but it is executed poorly the droprates and the amount of enemies that drop cards are so few. Because of this you need to grind to get the best cards.Alot of the fun cards are obtained from annoying to kill enemies with 1% drop chance.I donnot want to grind for hours to get items in a metroidvania. This game has like the same enemies with different colour and more health every new **** is annoying to go around the castle even the starting areas feel slow to traverse. It takes so much time to go around the castle every enemy is designed to be as annoying as possible.
All the areas in this game just blend together in my mind. Although the cards are annoying to get they are cool to play with all the different combinations are interesting and makes this game unique.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice for All5
Apr 21, 2024
All the cases feel stretched out and **** first phoenix wright game had more direction justice for all has awful pacing.I didn't care about the outcome or the characters of the new **** the cases are also very similar to the last game,so it also feels repetitive. Most of the i wanted the cases to just end but it just kept on going.Justice for all is inferior to the first game in every way. I liked Franziska Von Karma she was an interesting character.l also liked the moral dilemma that phoenix faced in the last **** last case also had a cool twist that I didn't see **** new psyche lock mechanic it made the investigation section which is always drawn out more engaging. The main characters are also very fun and charming like the last game.

Dissidia: Final Fantasy5
Feb 23, 2024
I liked all the references to all the other final fantasy **** combat is enjoyable but the stages are awful characters are always floating because of this you are always doing air moves even when you want to do a ground move it gets really annoying especially for some **** stages with cellings and walls were so **** annoying ,it was awful to play in them some times you won't see anything because of the cellings in a stage. Alot of the items and weapons are so time consuming to get. You need to get lucky to get alot of them. The story mode was fun at first but all the characters go through the same scenarios with showing the power of friendship which makes the cut scenes boring to watch. The storymode should have had more action and less talking the game takes itself too seriously and goes on for far too long. I got bored and frustrated at the end so i didn't finish it. It was fun for sometime but it gets boring after a while.

This is a very mediocre rpg with a boring story and **** skill system and the combat is the only good part of this game, rest is very average.I liked all the specialities and skills that you can use outside of battles and the PA system helps give atleast some personality to the characters .The world is beautiful but the cities and NPCs are so bland. There are way better RPGs in psp than this one.

It looks and play well for a gameboy game, but it still is a gbc **** combat is average at best sometimes enemies don't get hit if you **** levels are varied and there is good amount of enemy variety.Platforming is fun to do and the dungeons are also fun and short. The game has alot of small problems that makes it annoying. There is no map and inorder to fast travel you need to collect items. You can only really fast travel towards the end of the game, this was really **** rhythm transformations were cool but you need to do a dance ever time to transform this was really annoying to do. The last level was disappointing it was very short and average.

X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse3
Aug 17, 2023
This game did not age well. The story is so boring and uninteresting. Acts 3 and 4 are unnecessarily long and awful. The bosses battles have weird gimmicks. The loot that you obtain will always be for 10 levels higher than your current one. The X men characters and their abilities and moves are varied every character plays differently and it is fun to play them. Other than that there is nothing good about this.
