Moana9
Aug 28, 2019
Another Disney movie, another awing work of art. From beginning, to end, (though the beginning is a little slow) you will fall in love with the story, it's characters, and of course, Moana.

Hacksaw Ridge8
Aug 28, 2019
As far as the movie adaptation of the life of a former soldier, I feel as though the director did what was necessary to bring his story to light; without turning the story into a blur of between fiction and reality. Now, the motion picture on it's own however, I feel as though Andrew Garfield's performance could have been better, or for that matter much worse.

Lion5
Aug 28, 2019
The reasoning behind my '3' star review? 'Pretentious child syndrome.' Lion, effectively creates the lead protagonist complete child, mumbling over his words, and, at times, almost making the viewer feel as though they are sitting through a teenaged drama Nickelodeon dished up and through out for old times sake. I will say however, the story behind this film, will leave you with pure joy.

The Edge of Seventeen cast, script, and atmosphere, leaves myself in a mixed state of laughter and confused. Nevertheless, leaving me wanting to see another iteration of this film in the future.

Pete's Dragon8
Aug 28, 2019
Petes Dragon is Disney's lated attempt to resurrect a classic from the dead. For what it's worth, it paid off. This film is a complete redesign from top top bottom and still retains that charm from which it's name 'Petes Dragon' holds in our hearts.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald5
Aug 28, 2019
The Crimes of Grindelwald is the latest in the ever expanding universe of J.K. Rowling but also its second film in the Fantastic Beasts trilogy. From the beginning of the film you are filled with laughter and joy as you once again live out your Harry Potter dreams as a child. However, while you are lost in the magic you might also end up leaving the film being lost in the plot as well. The main gripe with the film is that, technically speaking, the film never actually accomplishes anything. The movie ends where it began, there is no progress. Therefore leaving many critics scratching their heads as to why there should be a third instalment when they could have simply ended the series with a slightly longer than average film.

Incredibles 29
Aug 28, 2019
Incredibles 2 was a very gud film, for what Pixar was trying to create. However, after watching the film a second time the magic definitely died down. The film is most definitely created with an early 2000s mind set, though it's understandable that Pixar was actively going after this feel, some audience members, like myself felt this movie should have came out 10 years ago.
