This expansion fixes a lot of problems that Gods and Kings did not fix. i have found that the other empires around me are willing to get into long term and deep diplomatic relationships like in the earlier civ games. this was my main complaint about the game and it has been fixed. the new features are welcome to the game and fit in perfectly. the new civilizations are great and i am happy to see new civs that have never been introduced to the civ world. also civs returning from older games are welcome back. the combat didn't need fixing so it is still good. so overall i think it is a great buy... i waited until it went on sale because 30 dollars for a DLC is way too much. but it is a must buy if you already own civ. the diplomacy and interactions between other countries is amazing. highly recommended.

this game is fun for a bit. can get repetitive playing alone. if you have friends to play with it is fun. i can only stand to play maybe 2 hours at a time. at 20$ im not sure it's worth it unless you got it on sale for 7$ or whatever it was.

a very enjoyable game. it isn't too difficult in the beginning and gradually gets harder... WAY harder. most rogue like games forget to use a easier beginning to draw you in before smashing you to pieces. his game however does a great job of tricking you into thinking "my ship is great i'll beat it this time!". i like the soundtrack. the images in the background are repeated a bit too often, but it's not that big of a deal. anyway one of the better rogue like games i have ever played.

This game is perhaps one of the first 2D puzzle/platformer games that really drew me in. the graphics are very pleasing to me, they are simple yet very bright and welcoming. i actually really enjoy the soundtrack especially fungi forest and lava lakes. they game is aesthetically wonderful for me in the way the worlds and soundtrack go together. it also adds different challenges to each new planet, this is perhaps the best part about the gameplay because it doesn't get old. highly recommended.

The diplomacy is probably the most well refined in a Turn based strategy game i have played, surpassing civ V. there are really only a few things i want improved, and none of them are in gameplay. They need to add different art to planets (there is little to no variation). and to be honest the biggest reason i love the game is being amazed by the beautiful planets. the fact that there is so little variation ****. also the map art when you zoom out for a specific map type is the same every time, they need to add variation to that too. i really like the soundtrack (it makes me space out and fall into a gaming coma). really all i want is more aesthetics and art variation. I'm not sure if they are going to patch it. but there being so little planet variety is actually sort of a big issue. other than that, it is good. it isn't worth 30$ in my opinion get it when it is on sale. I think it is a game you could get a good 50 to 100 hours in before it gets redundant.

This game is horribly flawed, i don't care that you are suppose to die a lot. i have gone through about 30 ancestors and haven't made a dime since my 6th upgrade. mostly because the controls for the keyboard are horrible, and the fact that the dungeon keeper takes all your money when you enter. i have yet to live long enough to kill more than half a row of monsters. the platforming is tricky and if not for the floaty movement and crappy controls might be OK. the bad controls also negatively impact fighting, you really don't the precision to dodge what this game throws at you. I'm sure i would be dazzled by the amazing and expansive upgrade system if i could get enough gold to upgrade. now i am determined to get good with these horrible controls and do better. this game is addictive but i don't see myself ever beating all the bosses just because i don't have the patience to sit through hours of the same and dying over and over. i like difficulty but i like it when i am challenged by things other than controls movement and money things that are supposed to help you in games so maybe... just maybe if i get better with the controls i will start to enjoy this.

I haven't played it too much recently. but when i did it was good fun. i like the concept but i hope they keep the patches coming to make future improvements.

some of the best graphics i have ever seen. the multiplayer mod makes it addicting. for ten dollars on steam, this is a great deal. the controls are a bit hazardous if you don't have a controller. luckily i got one just to play this game. the map size is great for exploring in all different types of vehicles. i actually never beat the campaign because i was too busy flying and driving around. the storymode is forgettable but the opposite can be said about the multiplayer mod. go buy it.

It was a cool concept, but the interface it just annoying. i find it unplayable. building the base is the only part i enjoyed. the rest of it im an not impressed with. i normally don't buy games with these types of ratings but i went out on a limb to buy it because it looked very cool. but trust me if you want to spend hours mastering a unfriendly interface and tedious combat and mining, go ahead. it is not for me if you have the patience you may be interested. so yeah... that is all.

Its fun for a bit. i have played an hour of it and got tired of it. i'm not very intent on finishing it but it is one dollar and even if you only get a couple hours of enjoyment out of this simple acrade style game it is worth it. the game itself is fun but it isn't engaging enough for me to play it again. so yeah why not get it?

Ok now that the servers are back up and running alright, here is my proper review. my rating was a 3/10 because of all the crap this game threw at us at its launch. to be honest this game had one of the worst launches of any game, in history. i don't think this game will ever truly recover from it, this 1.5 rating is way too low for a game like this. and many people will not change their reviews because they are too fed up with the DRM. which is totally understandable. but the game is really fun. you can create entire trade networks and intricate cities. this increases the depth from the previous simcity games. managing the city is very fun. managing buildings is an amazing feature. although map sizes restrict you from building more advanced structures later on that is really my only complaint. this game has tons of potential and will have DLC i assure you (mostly because EA is a jerk) good game. **** the EA gave it a bad rep. this DRM is a horrible thing for the gaming community but that doesn't mean simcity is a bad game

a solid campaign. fun multiplayer and wave mode. not much to dislike it was fun. got it on a steam sale so i feel that i ripped off this the people who made it. worth more than 5 dollars. go buy it... why the hell not?

I would agree with neigh sayers that this game is bland and doesn't have variety. but after some DLC and added game modes it is a gem. variety, fun gameplay and pretty graphics. great game, and it is rare to get a good dinosaur related game. well done. rawr...

one of the best game i have played. you can create entire countries and continents, shape mountains an plains. and also create beautiful and intricate cities. many good things about this game, and a few cons of annoying advisers and bad pollution.

a really fun game, i got tired of the combat quick, but the weapons armor and enchantments always keep you intrigued. i enjoy it played 6 hours so far and am hoping to finish the game soon. the graphics are cartoony and colorful. fun game worth getting.

this game is not fun. i personally don't care i am not buying any more call of duty games. this is the final straw MW3 then this. this is absolute horse crap. the graphics are so bad that i feel like it is the same as the original modern warfare. i loved the original black ops too. the gameplay is about as bad as MW3's with no good new features. and the multiplayer is buggy laggy and just impossible to deal with. being randomly disconnected is a pain. then if you try and play in a group it doesn't work because you can't join lobbies for some reason. i don't think this game should have the privilege of being released. it's not fun to play and is just plain bad. im going to return this tomorrow. this is where i draw the line.

Well... this game is really only fun if you're trolling. i had no fun with the gameplay at all. this game rewards camping it is really bad. same stuff as we have seen before.

I Played it and enjoyed it for a while. the patches made it difficult to master and now it has gotten to the point where the patches have made the game... ****. i know it sounds dumb but it seems wall glitches and all sorts of fun things plague the game since the patches. it is basically a glorified MW3. i dont like COD either. it use to be fun and rewarded good players but i cant do anything. some guns are awfully OPand stupid. the game is very unrealistic as well. i dont care if you can blow things up it is not realistic. now many light machine guns and assault rifles can out shoot a sniper at great distance so sniping is **** dumb to do. I cant get anywhere with people with light machine guns shooting through walls if i am moving. so i dont play anymore. **** THIS GAME. it was fun but still i hate it now.

great laid back game. until you play a very fast song to it. i tryed to play scatman john and i was overwhelmed. the game itself isnt great but when you get to relax to your favorite jams then its fun. its like an upraded way of listening to music. to map usually moves to you music so i like it but the game alone isnt fun without the music it would be boring.

well awesome game and a family friendly one too. my mom dad and little cousins love it. and i cant believe that i saw my two parents playing it on their own accord they have had this game for 7 years and have never stopped playing it about twice a week. i join in about once a week because im a "party" pooper

well is there anything more scary than the unknown? well if you have played this game you understand that the very thought of knowing almost nothing in a castle of monsters and traps is very chilling to the marrow of your bones... as you start out very minute sounds and shuffles give you a fright... but this game isn't just amazinf audio effects and seemingly useless doors opening by themselves. this game has scarey things that chase you they may show themselves when your looking through notes to find out why you are in a castle or trying to solve a puzzle. this is a great puzzle game not to mention with some tricky parts and some easy parts... i would like to say that the sound track is amazing, the very music makes you scared and that isn't the half of it. i had been in the morgue drilling a hole in some dead mans head to get and antidote to go down to the sewers which contain poisonous fungi. after this a monster breaks down the door i hide in a room of shallow waterand dead body piles... the monster sounds semm to be eating something i wait a minute it is still making noises... or is it gone and the sound is just a glitch or a leftover effect from the monster i peep out the door... no monster is near the broken down door. to look to my right i have to open the door completely so i do BAM! a monster is about 2 feet in front of me i run back in the room too petrified to close the door behind me i try to hide but its not use he chases me in circles through the shallow water and out the entrace through the broken down door. it attacks me once leaving me injured i limp to the exit and open the door. to my relief a loading screen i am safe. in no good consience can i give a game a ten so nine will do this game will thrill horror junkies and puzzle freaks alike great game!

i agree with CBuFF33 but i really like the game this game can be very repetitive but the gameplay is so cool and there are lots of characters with neat little unique tricks to them. not to mention the leveling system is addicting. my favorite character is either ichico or that guy with the chain and the half burned face... if you play the game you know what im talking about... anyway i think if you like bleach and fighting games this is a wonderful game.... that being said its very mindless and repetitive but the pros in my opinion out shine the cons. by the way if anyone can point me towards another bleach game that is good please tell me! overall a good game with some minor drawbacks. ( if this game had versus it would be a ten ratinging! im mad because 1v1 on this game would be intense)!

this game is a bummer compared to the earlier sim cities. i had some fun playing this game and got bored with my second city. i dont like anything particularly about this game but i dont really hate anything either so it is just sot of boring. i wish the could have gone back to their basics.

i playe dthis for years and was very entertained . i eventually got sick of it but for hours of fun it is a good game. i love th efeatures and tutorials of this game i like the simple way to make money. this game is not easy but is very addicting and easy to get into. i love this game.

this is a horrible game if you know how to play in the first place it is too complecated it forced you to micromanage every aspect of everything. i hate the gameplay and the strategy is dumb i've had a battle i lost about 10000 men they lost 0. totally unrealistic. dont buy it is just a broken AI and some thrown in battles. this game was only 10 bucks so i guess i am not all that mad.

ok even if you can figure out how to play the game. it is boring and impsossible to win. strategy doesn't matter and is very unfair i have lost so many battles for no reason. really bad game glad it was only 10$ or i would be mad. dont buy it's complecated and boring. micro managing goes too far. dont buy.

i got this game today it's fun and for its time great animation. good strategy game for kids and unltimately everyone can have fun playing. this game has plastic reasorces you need to make army men in your barracks. and electricity to make army tanks. this is very fun.

i got this and i sorta liked it. the talking is cool because every dicision you make matters. but the characters you talk to **** and aren't fun or important to talk to. so it feels empty with the bad AI. the button masher i actually like but i like rpg style better. the graphics are fairly good. but the blood is overdone. the adventure is gone and is replaced by combat :(!!! i like the new map but it isn't enough because you go to the same places over and over! i feel a little betrayed becuase the first one was so good. there is nothing new about this game either most thing are just a polished version of the first one and it lacks in so many other areas that polish dont do **** it is fun but disapointing. just like so many great series they go out with a bad half assed games like jak lost frontier. it's fun but just doesn't cut it. do i sugest buying... not really until the price drops.

this game is based on the popular jurassic park movie. the characters are cool. and i like the map you play on like a board game. i wish the had multiple maps. but the challenges are fun and the multiplayer is cool too. the graphics arn't great. but the minigames are really cool. so it's fun and has good replay value but i see so many ways it could be improved. but it is still a good game!

Ok what the hell?! i want to know how much time it took to make this game because better racing games w/ a build your own track editor were better is 2001 like hsx racing. i have no words for this. i dont make graphics a big deal in reviews but rayman had better graphics. i am disapointed. this game is a bust and it isn't worth 20$ not even 20!

this game is one of the few true platformers. it has many frusturating challenges but the plot is good and the gameplay keeps you playing. if this game had guns like 2 and 3. it would be an 8. but since it doesn't i give it a respectable 7.

i played this game before the first one and sencond and good thing because it's the best of the series. many wil love the characters personalities. i love the graphics (way ahead at the time) great roaming around in the desert. i love the driving and missions. the challeneges are easy yet fun. my only complaint is it's too easy i think naughty dog got too many complaints that jak II was too hard so they made it easy. jak II was hard but its beatable. great game!!!

i'd give it a thumbs up for improving over the first yet it isn't a perfect game. it is still a fun and addicting game that will pleased most RPG gamers

ok lets start with the good news the game is independant from the first and very addicting. this game has alot of new touches and twists. the new side characters are a blast great gameplay and all too. the bad news is that the game is not as sneaky you can practically kill anything head to head with sly unlike 2. this game was a little disapointing in that note compared to the 2nd but it isn't bad.

well naughty dog sold out the series to some one else for money. and the game is not right! i dont know what it is it just doesn't feel right. the sound and music make you know it's a game. the world is empty feeling and lonely. the game itself is decent but it is just not enough. i played for about 3 hours and i dont want to finish it. the jak series has been like a bunch of chocolate this last edition is a vanilla disapointment!

well first of all this is not a jak game!!! it is ok but it just doesn't cut it as jak. after the great jak 3 i was disapointed with this one. it is a fun racer/action but if you like jak this isn't for you. it's for racing game fans. so a 6 is fitting because it was fun but it didn't cut it.

i played the demo on ratchet and clank up your arsenal a while back and got it for my birthday (also a while back) i was amazed and love the graphics. the story is great and character is funny. this is a fun game for anyone.

the game story is interesting. it didn't treally build off of the 2nd one. so it's not a sequal to the first. this game is very fun. the combat system and the AI are superb. it is short but that makes it more replayable. this game is a treasure for shooter fans. if you liked the first one you should love this addition. although even on the easy levels you are still challenged and medium and hard a almost impossible. great game.

i got this game the day it was out and i was younge. it was one of my first video games. this game is so fun and replayable. i cant say imagine that anyone would dislike a good adventure game. i like the quitage games too.

I am not a big blood fan. but this game inspite of violence was amazing. the puzzles are fun and challenging. sneaking around and straggling people to avoid being killed. then you switch sides to your partner and beat the **** out of another guy! duel play for 2 completely different gameplays. i would reccomend thi8s game to ANYONE.

This game is so cool. the multiplayer is fenomenal. the compaine can bore me but usually you are having fun. best of the cod series. guns are cool and mods are too. buy if you like a 1st person shooter.

I played the 2nd one and decided to buy the original. it was very good. the graphics were good. the building-soldier proportions were off alot. the combat it good and i loved the buildings and campains. buy if you like real time strategy.

i am a huge fan of the lux series so i bought this game. but i wasn't as impressed as i thought i would be. it was a little too hard at the hardest difficulty. it is addictive like the rest but not as fun. if you like america and you like history you may enjoy it more than i did. good game but i think it just wasn't made for me.

This was my first game fro the sillysoft company. and i have to say the demo got me hooked. i bought it a couple years ago and am still playing it. i have beat it on every difficulty w/ every civilization. so fun. it is very historical and addictive. i have over 200 hours on a 20 hour game. this is a great game. buy this if you like a historical-strategic game. i am a huge strategy geek. the graphics are ok and the sound gets repetitive. but it is all good ijn the end.

i downloaded it and i wasn't impress by the demo, but i loved ancient empires lux which was made by the same company, sillysoft. so i bought it and loved the online community. it was active and very fun. there was always at least 10 games on. roman II is my favorite. but the community was not going to make the game great. it ius fun but it isn't wowing. this is a smaller company so it is great for that drawback. i play it then stop and get addicted again. it is ok. buy it if you like a fun community and strategy.

This game is so different from the first. it is darker and more intense. the first thing that happens in it you get sent to a prison and escape. i love it. the weapons are nice. the graphics are great. i love the soundtrack yet i cant give it a ten ( i would ) but, it is too hard i beat it but i had trouble. if you like a challenging 3rd person shooter you must get.

i was sceptical at first because i knew little about this game. i loved the specialized starts and the combat in rpg style. once i killed my first darkspawn i was addictive. i love this game but it freezes oftenly. it have alot of bugs but it's very fun none the less. buy if you like RPG's.

i played civ three first so i will probubly underestemate this game but here i go. this game is very fun and addictive. i like the gameplay and basicly alot about it. it is far to simple to be given a nine but it sure is better than 4.
