Just as polished as the rest of the series, striking just the right balance between familiar and fresh material. [Feb 2005, p.99]

Feeling somewhat bland against some of its predecessors, Mario Party 6's games come off as lacking in skill, not to mention creativity; the coating may look different, but the core concepts are incredibly repetitive. [Feb 2005, p.106]

Offers too much tedium and not nearly enough fun, mic or no mic.

in this Mario Party a son and moon are arguing against who which is better but Paul Mario in the gang have now got to solve out this problem of how to sort out the argument and just you guessed it they have to collect power stars around boards to win the cam down situation good luck Heroes and 10 out of 10 for me

Mario Party 6 is a masterpiece party game as it offers wide variety of great characters with my favorite being Waluigi. The game has fun maps with the day and night cycle is a unique mechanic in game as it gives a fun challenge for other players and yourself. The game has a great story mode by letting you play against CPU's that will get more challenging more and more. The game is quirky in a way that i personally love myself with the character Designs and how the game has this cartoony artstyle almost. Anyway this was my full review of Mario Party 6 and if you read this review thank you.

It's better than Jamboree. The story mode and characters are the best. Characters and gameplay. A good successor to Mario Party 5 and its N64 predecessors.

On their own they pose no real threat to players of average skill, but pit four such players against one another and watch the tension grow.

Most of the new features in Mario Party 6 add little to the overall experience, so it's hard to recommend the game to owners of either previous GameCube entry to the series. However, if you're a hardcore fan of the series, the sixth game may be enticing as an expansion pack of new mini-games, which are abundant.

Multiplayer mode is a blast, however single-player mode is useless when compared to the aforementioned.

A step in the right direction. It makes the generally boring board portion of the game more interesting with the addition of the strategic Orbs and the day and night shifts. It does not completely solve the past games' problems, but I'll take what I can get.

The mini-games still remain a treat for four players, and the use of a microphone is a smart idea, and comes in handy at points. However, the game's single player mode remains a letdown, and the graphics and sound come across as a rerun.

Offers too much tedium and not nearly enough fun, mic or no mic.

This game, although overrated, is still a great multiplayer experience and after the mediocre Mario Party 5, they took out the garbage (60% of the game), and replaced it with a fun day and night mechanic that never feels gimmicky.

Probably arguably the most important Mario party game. It is game changing and maybe even revolutionary for the genre it is defining. However, it is not the best Mario because it did not feel real. No alive. I cannot comprehend. I think if I had to sum it up they really messed up the controls for this game. And they messed them up until mario party 8 but that one was good. They know what they were doing. But not quite.

Don't look at me, just giving this overrated ahh game a lower score. Seriously, y'all are obsessed with this game.
