The battle system is awful and not suited to competitive battle games like Pokémon. What they should have done is instead of being able to spam all of the moves at the same time, the cooldown timer should reset when you use 1 attack so that you have to choose wisely which move to use as some moves become ready faster than others. This would add much needed strategy and competitive gameplay. The auto aim is cringe as it makes the game too easy and environment graphics are very far behind what Switch 2 is capable of.

Best 3D Mario game by far. It's fun and more importantly difficult, definitely most difficult Mario game.

This and Rise of a Ninja are the best Naruto games by far. Microsoft need to let us play these on Series X.

It's too easy. We need challenging Mario games again like the first Mario Bros on NES and MarioSunshine on GameCube.

Looks almost as good as PS4 version, if you ignore the price this is still a great port.

Not for me, too much bad voice acting and the gameplay isn't anything to write home about. Tech wise doesn’t look like much improvement, its almost a straight port from last gen so it deserves a low score for low effort port.

Story, character design and script is cringey, nothing like Xenoblade 1 and X.

Embarrasing lazy effort from gamefreak, nothing to see here. Just play Legends Arceus.

Between Super Metroid, Fusion and Zero Mission you will find the absolute best Metroidvania games, can't go wrong with either one.

Can't say that I am a big fan of racing games but this game is fun. Only thing missing is online but with how challenging the game already is, it feels like you are playing against pro players so not a big miss at all.

I am not a big fan of JRPG games but this was great fun for me - the twist in turn based battles made it a lot more engaging and more unpredictable. There is character, humour and the voice acting gives the game plenty of life. This is how JRPG games should be, I will be keeping an eye on the next game.

Although the gameplay is strong as was expected, it is a rushed effort. The chases are great fun but the game lacks atmosphere that classic games in the series had such as Super Metroid and Zero Mission. On top of that the game isn't running at optimal 1080p resolution when docked, that is unacceptable for a 2.5D game when a game like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe runs at 1080p even in split screen.

Its a good looking game for Switch with good storytelling. Quite an impressive port.

This is the best Pokemon game since the N64 Stadium titles and a huge step forward for this franchise. Plenty of room for improvement such as better animations, cleaner visuals and more gameplay mechanics with less grinding would make the sequel to Legends Arceus a contender for GOTY.

Not a fan of games that involve cars because they are usually boring but this game is an exception. This game is actually fun and it's a miracle it runs so good on Switch - must buy!

Never cared for Kirby games before and this is too simplistic for me, I got quickly bored.

A near perfect remake of gen 1 (the best pokemon generation) on a system that was the near perfect handheld for it's time. Finally they gave the Bulbasaur line the respect it deserves! A must have for all GBA owners.

I havent been able to enjoy a Pokemon game for 10 years until this came out. Gen 3 was the last good Pokemon generation for me and this adequately filled my nostalgic needs.

Good story, very funny dialogue, graphics look perfect, nice music - what more could you need for such a game? Well, the combat obviously - and the combat in this game is great, it's challenging and always gets you thinking unlike other "rpg" games. This is by far the greatest Paper Mario game and a must play game on Switch if you like rpgs, this is the best rpg game you will play because it is more than just an rpg.

Its almost a miracle this game plays at 60fps on a handheld from 2017. The resolution is pretty low but it runs smoothly and the extra dlc characters are great.

The darts game is really good, highly recommend everyone gives it a go. With this package you will not need to keep things (and lose them) all over the house such as chess or draughts boards, or even playing cards. Best of all , you can play everything online!

Completely boring and lacklustre, Arkham Series remains the only good iteration of superhero games. Gameplay too simplistic, better off watching movies instead of this.

The absolute pinnacle of fighting games. Huge roster, huge amount of customization available, great DLC and a must own game for any competitive gamer. Also great fun for casuals or parties.

Wreckfest remains the best racing game of the last decade and is fairly cheap to pick up now - highly recommend over any other racing game available on Xbox. The demolition derby mode is highly addictive! For those of you that have a Nintendo Switch, Cruis'n Blast has just released and edges this.

By far the best Legend of Zelda game. Don't get me wrong, there have been plenty of great, atmospheric Zelda games in the past (Twilight Princess and Majoras Mask were my 2 favourites) but this game has taken Zelda and gaming in general to new heights. The map is massive, the gameplay is massive, the draw distance is massive - it is quite unbelievable that this game was possible on a handheld device in 2017, Nintendo definitely worked some magic here. On top of this, the game isnt just massive it is also super addictive - the gameplay flows smoothly and flawlessly - there is almost nothing you cannot do.
