Hard Reset: Exile7
May 2, 2015
Hard Reset Too good to miss! Have you ever kicked a vending machine? Knocked over a newspaper dispenser. Smacked an ATM? Tisk-tisk. The machines fight back in this one. Hard Reset is one of the unsung triumphs of its time. It's a wonder this isn't an episodic franchise. The greats do slip past us. Get ready to be hit hard by this Monster-sized madness as you hit back with its unequaled weaponry set in a desolate dystopic future. If nothing else it has the greatest upgrade station in gaming.

Hard Reset6
May 2, 2015
Shooters like Serious Sam and Painkiller are hard to come by these days. Yes, Hard Reset is full of plot holes, the ending is too silly even for a pulp paperback novel, and there is no blood and flesh – only gear-wheels and oil. But even will all of this, Hard Reset is fun enough if you want to just blow off some steam.

The Amazing Spider-Man 25
May 2, 2015
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is a decent sandbox-based action game, with plenty of missions, nice ideas and different situations to deal with, but it still lacks the polishing and the direction needed to be a great tie-in, like the Batman games.

WWE '138
May 2, 2015
Take those Legends of Wrestlemania or other attempts at wrestling nostalgia and throw them away because WWE 13 is all you need "and that's the bottom line cause Stone Cold said so."
PlayStation 3

WWE '128
May 2, 2015
With a greater sense of gameplay fun than ever before and a true evolution in controls, WWE '12 is an excellent wrestling game, but visual inconsistency and its overabundance of DLC hamper the game experience as a hole and hold it back from truly being a Great One.

Wonderbook: Book of Spells7
May 2, 2015
In the end I see Wonderbook: Book of Spells as being a a hit with the kids and it is a good start for the peripheral that makes it all come alive. Sure, there is certainly some room for improvement; however, the future is bright for future "books" that utilize this unique peripheral and I cannot wait to see what is next.

Woah Dave!7
May 2, 2015
As a completely free game on PlayStation Plus, Woah Dave! is brief, throwaway fun. There's nothing wrong with it, but its sheer lack of content means I wouldn't want to spend anything on it.

Watch Dogs7
May 2, 2015
As an open-world game, Watch Dogs provides “enough” — enough sidequests, enough space, enough of a playground — to qualify, but it doesn’t quite place. Other games have nailed a better balance in optional activities and large-scale ambiance, including other games from Ubisoft Montreal itself. But when Watch Dogs focuses on the things it does better than anyone else, it finds an identity worth developing. As a hybrid open-world stealth-action game, it’s in a class by itself.

Valiant Hearts: The Great War9
May 2, 2015
In a way Valiant Hearts is a challenge to everyone in the industry; it's a challenge to the publishers churning out the same old "war games," and it's a challenge to all the players that continue to buy into these games without really thinking about what they are playing. War isn't fun, and it has a real impact on the people that are involved in it. It's games like this one that, critically, remind us that there is a human side to war.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition10
May 2, 2015
Tomb Raider Definitive Edition is a phenomenal action adventure game, and while it does not bring anything new to the genre, it’s an excellent opportunity if like me, you haven’t had the opportunity to play it on either the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 or the PC.

The Walking Dead: Season Two - A Telltale Games Series8
May 2, 2015
A bit more polish in some areas for the PS4 would have really helped sell this version, but for those of us who don’t have a last-gen console anymore it’s great to see the series arriving on the new platforms. Keep ‘em coming Telltale.

The Playroom8
May 2, 2015
I had a lot of fun with the playroom, it's really enjoyable and gives you access to something to do if let's say you're bored with your current arsenal of games. I enjoy the games that it has on it such as playing with the robots and the big robot but the air hockey is super fun, I can just imagine having a rubber like air hockey table that you can shake around, make it longer or shorter and perform extreme power shots on. It was kind of difficult to set up two players on the playroom and since only two of the games on the playroom are multiplayer compatible I rate it an eight

The Order: 18866
May 2, 2015
Even with the development delay and push into 2015, The Order: 1886 isn't exactly the action-packed, cinematic masterpiece we were hoping for. On the bright side, it's a mostly enjoyable ride while it lasts and is most certainly one of the best looking console games released thus far, so it’s worth a playthrough during the winter game release lull.

The Last of Us Remastered10
May 2, 2015
The heart-rending story isn`t romanticizing nor does it drift into the pathos other, less subtle games so often lean towards. That's the line where good craftsmanship becomes art, and an excellent game.

The Amazing Spider-Man 23
May 2, 2015
To summarize, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is a pity. It's a pity because the potential is there. I do not understand why they cannot treat this superhero with more respect and why they always have to wait for a movie to force a simplistic system in the "awesomeness" that is navigating from web to web through New York.

Saints Row: The Third9
May 2, 2015
Third may be dumb fun, but it's the smartest realization of the sandbox spirit we've seen in a long while, and i would also call out that this series is great and it's not trying to be GTA, because the genre is so different and it's great.

With so much to do, you can easily get lost in this online world. There are many Locations you can visit, each with their own unique activities. There's racing, shooting, Texas Hold'em, bowling, billiards, mini-games tied in with PS3's staple of games and more. A great way to meet other follow gamers with like minded interests, you can easily join other parties and jump into a game through Home. There's a wide variety of downloadable items for your avatar and living space, free and otherwise. If there was only one thing wrong with Home, that would be the lack of explanation of what to do and where to do it

Never Alone8

Mortal Kombat X8

Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition7
May 2, 2015
The Komplete Edition shines on PC other than Story mode cutscene quality and, more importantly, some annoying online lag issues. Neither is a deal-breaker for me though, and at $30, I have no problem recommending it for purchase.

Mortal Kombat (2011)7
May 2, 2015
Mortal Kombat for PlayStation Vita is a game worth your attention, especially if you haven't had the opportunity to check out last year's "big" MK and you miss the original installments. It's a great reboot - well made, reminiscent of the golden age, has lots of fantastic warriors and some unique bonuses.

Mortal Kombat (2011)9
May 2, 2015
This is the best Mortal Kombat yet. It didn't blow my mind to the degree that Mortal Kombat 2 and 3 did back in the day, but when it comes down to the gameplay and longevity tied to it, this new entry towers above its 2D lineage.

LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game8

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-48
May 2, 2015
It's often funny, addictive, and surprisingly good to look at, and the wide appeal that this franchise has tacked on with the already wide appeal that LEGO in general has is sure to make this something that fans of either property won't want to pass up.

Killzone: Shadow Fall8
Apr 30, 2015
Thankfully, Shadow Fall handles far better than its predecessors that were hamstrung by the limited abilities of the PlayStation 3. It’s perfectly smooth to play, and there’s no longer a button to attach yourself to cover — simply crouching behind a chest-high wall will hide you, and pushing forward against it will let you stick your gun out to shoot.
