Love the supernatural mistery in the show, but we need more gradual explanations. Season 3 is much better than 2.

1st and 2nd season are amazing and 3 is still good just a little worse. Some of them just piss me off so much that I want to break my tv every episode. Definitely would recommend and really hope they get renewed for another season.

I believe this show was very good. It had inspiration from the show and movie, Twin Peaks. I believe it could have been better on the writers part, not the acting.

Finished with season 1. I've liked it better than stranger things which is rated a 76 on meta. Thematically Stranger Things is probably better but Yellowjackets I find is more interesting. I found myself bored and took many breaks to finish watching Stranger Things. Yellowjackets has more scary moments, more thrilling, the twist are just as good.

Watched the trailer. It looks so bad! Why are writers and film makers so bad today?

Made it to episode3 beforei calledit quits. Do you want terrible characters who act so out of place that it annoys you? Do you want terrible writing? Do you want situations that wouldn't happen if it happened so it throws off the "thriller" aspect of the show? Ding ding ding! I'll take yellow jackets for a thousand alex. I'll give you an example, three days in the wilderness and the two most annoying characters in the teenage group convince the rest of the group to hike five miles instead of just using their brains and splitting up for a bit. What do you thinkhappens when they reach the lake? A. Long dramatic scene involvingthe characters confronting each other and the reality of the situation? B. Intense scene where they are so relieved they show the emotions one would when this situation would happen? C. The annoying red head screams, rips her cloths off and dives straight into cold water like its spring break at Pensacola Beach while a goofy alternative songthat's played 15 other times in the past two episodes plays yet again. Meanwhile a tall dark handsome guy runs and jumps in the water as the three girls staring go "wait.. wait.. is he ACTUALLY HOT!". As he stares and smiles. Btw, his dad died horrifically in the plane wreck three days prior and this is his mental state. This is the teens.. were not even onto the adults. Everybit of "thriller" or "mystery" this show has is **** out of the moment immediately with bits like this.

Yellow Jackets Season 2….. should have stopped at season 1. While I liked thegrowth of most of the characters ( Lottie’s a bit silly) Shaunas character grew more ridiculous each episode. I bought into the overweight thin hair character during season 1. Wasnt really believable that hot young artist would fall for her…. but whatever. Season 2 brought it to a new….crazy level. Besting a car jacker, making her daughter an accomplice by telling her everything? My friends & I finished the season…. cringing during her airplay but decided its a hard NO on a season 3, if they are crazy enough to allow this silliness to continue.

Literally checks off every woke box you can think of, not just for casting but for scenes themselves. You have the "body count" scene where the girl flips out when a guy asks her how many guys she's been with. There's the scene where the girls are driving and see a sign congratulating the boys team but not theirs. There's a lesbian love couple in each timeline. Promotes cheating on your spouse. Women are strong badasses that throw truck drivers around like they are children. There's a black woman running for political office who is married to another woman. The show jumps between 2 timelines about every 30 seconds. This is trash show about female empowerment and witchcraft. The entire cast is just women. Every female character is has a horrible attitude including the main couples daughter. The way she talks to her mom is unbelievable. There is only one white male on the show and his wife cheats on him and he's perfectly fine with it. The rest of the men are useless (coach) and they made sure to make them mexican (but then again it's about a soccer team). Absolute trash show that doesn't get the point. If it was just about the girls making it through the time in the forest it might be good, but they did this idiotic timeline jumping thing from past to present to pad the time and milk this thing for as many seasons as they could. This should've been a 1-2hr movie about the girls surviving in the forest.

I actually started really enjoying it but somewhere in S1 it just lost me. It has all the ingredients for a great show but I started finding it took effort to watch. The timeline jumps are too jarring and just way too often. Too many sub-plots never go anywhere or get lost in the jumping. The most frustrating part is that youi can see how good it could have been.

A good main story and solid acting is squandered by the frustrating clichés, dull tropes, and constant switching away from interesting scenes to scenes which have absolutely no hook to them. Extremely overrated. Go watch Severance instead if you want a well directed and produced show.

The problem is that there are about 5 different story lines. A lot of them are origin story of the survivors. They just aren't gripping, in fact I fast forwarded through most of it, because I just don't care about these characters. So when I fast forward to the survival story line, it was pretty good at first, but then it gets ridiculously implausible. The movie "Alive" (1993) which is also about a downed plane carrying soccer player, is far better, and extremely similar in the main narrative. Which is based on a true story.

Yellowjackets has a lot of potential, the main plot line of a football team stranded in the wild and surviving until being rescued is compelling enough to attract a big audience. However it fails to deliver. Episode 1 is endless, pointless and boring. I powered through it hoping their teenager lives and drama was just some necessary exposition to get into the main story but I was very wrong, that is the main story. It is a very odd choice have such an interesting story, a great cast and then focus on the least interesting portion of the timeline and furthermore, making it excruciatingly long and dull. One episode was enough for me.

It's just a bad "current year" remake of Lord of the Flies with "stronk, independent" bender cast.

The premise for this show has great potential. The execution is just awful. The switching back and forth between timelines every few seconds (not exaggerating, most scenes are under a minute) makes the viewer exhausted. The acting is okay, but the script has extreme issues with characterization. The multiple characters in different times has the effect of barraging the viewer with so many dangling plot threads that literally anything can happen (this is not a good thing for storytelling). What is worse, is most of the time nothing is happening! After three episodes I had to bow out. It's bad and dumb, and I feel like I'm being emotionally abused if I watch anymore.

Its influences are notorious, but it knows how to use the necessary twists to make it work, although it has a really, really hard time gaining traction.
I found the first four episodes too long for how little the story managed to do in terms of mystery. The first episode gives you a pretty clear idea of what the hell happened in their time in the wilderness and that portion of the story is more interesting than the modern day plot, because it's not until the 10th episode that it becomes clear that something important will also happen in the present, but at that point it feels late, considering that I personally think the 10 episodes were excessive in terms of storyline. One of its strongest points is its cast. The one from both eras, although clearly the cast of the present day story with Melanie Lynskey, Juliette Lewis Christina Ricci and Tawny Cypress have a lot much higher mileage. It's a good enough show, but I honestly believe it needs to make clear soon in season 2 where it's going, because at this point I'm just not interested in watching a new Lost, that will feed and feed the mystery only to ultimately deliver a mediocre payoff. But it is definitely worth a look.

From the summary, I thought this was another YA show. Bunch of girls having to survive in the wilderness. And that is in there, pretty well done, too, but it is more about the horror of growing up and the horror of being a grown up, which sounds bleak, but it is done in an interesting and charming way. If it wants to, the show can be very sweet, genuinely funny, exciting, but also sad, puzzling, dark and violent, without overdoing any of it.
The show looks great, the music and soundtrack fit perfectly, and from kids to adults, just amazing performances.
I assume this is a show where you pretty quickly find out if you like it or not. I think it it a blast.

Wow! I wasn’t sure I’d like it after a friend recommended it. I mean a story about a teenage girls’ soccer team… Turns out it’s so much more. One of the best series ever made!

Boring, tedious and not suspenseful. I am expected to sit through 1 or possibly several more seasons of garbage character drama just to get to the truth of the mystery? This show would be a 1 if not for the brilliant performances by the many talented actresses

Lost is one of my all time shows and I was extremely excited about this! Started really well, but sadly I found as the season went on it's turned out to be a bit more lightweight than I was expecting. It's alright but not great.

I'm not usually one to "binge watch" shows but if the episodes of this show were all available I would've definitely watched it all in less than a day.

OMG! This is my new favourite show. I'm not sure what you would call it, but it's awesome.
