Disregard what people are saying. If you are a proper forza racing player this is the real review. Cars now feel like Forza Motorsport. So drive accordingly. The presets are horrible. The dead-space in the thumb-sticks are horrific. Turn them to 0 immediately. There is SO MUCH mindless content.

As a digital video clip experience, it is a mediocre at that. If it was supposed to be a coming of age story, there are far better, deeper narratives out there. Do not expect the fine writing art of something like Perks of Being a wallflower. It is not that. Do not expect an interactive experience as Life is Strange. It is not that. What is it then? A weird caricature of an experience in a gaming console (or pc) but not a game. It has great direction and music, but thats about it. It feels really weird to see dithyrambic reviews about this digital experience. Because at least i expected DEPTH. There is none.

This game made me sad. Sad because it was not like the tight FF Remake. Sad because the HDR is broken and you can only play it in PS5 PRO to get 4k graphics that are not completely washed. Sad because it was a mess of a story, hoping to see some progress from the first part. Sad because people who do not care about single player experiences and instead want to burn their time endlessly in mindless open worlds like this and said it was a good game. Sad because this isn't a good game, period.

This is not a game. Not a walking sim. This is an "interactive music video anthology" at best. It is not for playing but just watching. Saying it is a game, or a masterpiece is far fetched. It is great to play with your gf on a late night instead of watching a movie but that's about it. Nothing more. Nothing less. Do not pay for it, it is not worth the admission ticket. Just play it for free when it hits more subs. Xbox is on, it is free, just get some pizza and watch/play it on a saturday night you don't go out. Thats about it. There are better, deeper, more intricate coming of age stories out there that feel more realistic too. For something better go watch the perks of being a wallflower or any linklater flick. Just saying.

This is a 10/10 in my book. Very fps games have such a magnificent story. Played all three one after the other, and it just leads to an amazing ending. Satisfying. Perfection. Don't listen to the nay sayers. The linear levels are pure metro 2033, the semi open are a bit straighforward anyway. Just play it.

A solid 8.5/10 in my book. Great flow, finally working HDR, the battle system is PERFECTION. Feels like a soulslike game but is not, more like Jedi Survivor but damn if this game doesn't satisfy an itch long lost in games today. It was a good GAME. Story, not so much. But the gameplay is divine.

We went against Ubisoft for pointless bloated open worlds and fetch quests.
We went against Sony for paper thin bland characters.
We went against MMO RPGs full of mini games and time-consuming bloat.
We went against Expedition 33 for one ai generated image.
We went against sandbox games for repetition.
We went against action games with spongy energy battles. And this game has everything above. Without the characters. Without the depth. Without the story of Witcher 3 or RDR2. Without the vast number of side quests that feel like whole new games. But this game has it all, and people went nuts for it. Because it goes in some weird way for but not against their beliefs of what a game should be. Apparently, a game should be all the things they do not want in games, combined. The world is a weird place. And this game is part of it.

Scars Above8

I gave this an eight because the developers deserve the green colour for effort. It is a AA game at best, but it is a fine one at that. It is linear with some Returnal ideas behind it, and a unique combat system with a dozen options to beat your otherwise low-res enemies. It could do with polish, with a better story but the voice acting was great, the environments were amazing, the battle system I loved, and overall I had a blast playing it. It is short and sweet, and buying it on discount for 6euros is a treat that will keep you company for 6-7 hours of fun. This game with proper budget, yeesh, we are talking serious game contenter.

Echoes is a proper game made with love, just hastily and in a time where AA games were still not 'good enough'. It will remind you of the tech demo of Unreal, and maybe it kinda is. The game itself is great fun, the battle system is meaty and the puzzles are GREAT. Sure, the story is subpar and the enemy variety abysmal, BUT - HEAR ME OUT- i had MORE fun playing this than Ragnarok, hand in heart. Game is now free with ps plus extra, and seriously just give it a go.

To be completely fair, it is not a bad game. The single player campaign is some weird mix of control, alan wake, BO6 and resident evil fps. What is weird is having to play online, without difficulty settings, without changing the mission hordes when alone, without even pausing and proper checkpoints. Patch that up please. As for the hate, I mean, this series has jumped the sharked years ago. I always played the single player campaign as a palette cleanser between proper games, this one does it too, but having to play alone with the mandatory time consuming missions is a bummer. People hated BO6 but that bioshock mission with the three keycards was ace. Whoever hated it never got there.

This sorry excuse **** starts as a walking sim, turns into basic puzzle solving for non gamers and ends up as a ship game with horrible mechanics. In literal hindsight, I skipped this game when it came out. But in 2025, after playing 2-3-4 remakes, I said heck, let me try 5 and 6. Oh boy. We hated six? What? Why. It literally gave birth to the movement of the remakes, features a story that is basically 2-3-4 in one game, shooting feels great, the campy story is back. I dunno. It feels great. Sure the coop is janky if you play solo, but still, the ai does a fine job. Seriously, try it.

It honestly took me 3 years and 3 tries from the start to actually sit through the whole game. I know people hate, but you know what, I endured all this right after finishing the Alters because I thought, what if it has the same vibe and i missed it? I didn't miss it. The childish Diehardman and Deadman and Cliff Unger and generic idiotic names are there, the basic storyline, but above all the game loop that removes the fun from gaming. This is not a good game. It took me 3 years.47 hours. I finished it. I did it. Only to know, it was a horrible experience. It is not for everybody. For who it is, i dunno. But not for me.

This is after finishing part two. I even retract my part one review. This game is not a game. It was made with zero love. It has zero coherence, minimal choices, zero payoff, the story is 5 minutes long and is dragged through an eternity of 5 screens. This is not a game. This is nothing. And the crazy pills that the positive reviewers are on is driving me crazier than them. This is one bad game. Twin mirror and tell me why were much better games. That is telling everything. A sub-par experience compared to the current crop of great games by the late Mimimi studio. This is no Desperados, Shadow Gambit or Shadow Tactics. It feels a decade older, although current. The performance is bad, with constant screen tearing and asset popping. The bugs are endless, every mission features a game-breaking one and reloading is a must. The fast save and load is really slow compared to other games mentioned. The Execute function is broken. No Fast Forward time, constant errors in actually pulling plans through, the beacon option for multiple eye sights is broken, characters cannot RUN in execute mode (no joke). The game is horrible. It is sad, because from Commandors we reached the heights of the mimimi era. But it seems this is NOTHING like it.

I do not trust any positive review for this game. My wife and myself have both been huge fans of dontnod games. In fact Life Is Strange 2 was thef first game she finished, opening the path to a gaming life. I myself loved the original Life Is Strange. Everything about that game, the choices, the superpower, the amazing soundtrack. I will forever remember it. The downturn started with Colours. Such a basic adventure, very few choices, very few elements which made it special. We both skipped the LiS sequel, because we were both team Bae and we couldn't stand playing a Max game without Chloe. But we chose to PAY and play this THING. The most boring, uninteresting ever game we have ever played. Sure, the presentation is great, but the story is NON EXISTENT. NOTHING HAPPENES. The first tape is ALL AN INTRO. You have to stand 8 hours of talking with nothing ever happening, nothing, i mean NOTHING, only to end in a "SORT OF" event. There is nothing here. No game. It is a no-game game. The taping gamification is mundane to say the least. How can this game even exist? Who greenlit it? Why? Why would people choose to play this thing. There is no game. Just a mix of Stand By me, Stranger Things and most things 90s, but without a single drop of originality inside. I do not care about reliving my teenage years (and I am the same age, both my wife and myself are born in 83). But this game is NOT A GAME. IT IS A DISSAPOINTMENT. I paid my money for this? I paid MONEY for playing a game that has no playing. I really wish someone from Dontnod read this. Because we were genuine fans, invested in what came from this team. But not anymore. Sad.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle9

This is reviewed for Xbox Series S, but no option was available in the drop down. I am writing this minutes after the credits rolled. It took me 10ish hours for nearly all main and side quests, complete level up and a few collectathons still pending.
This game is goty material, for sure. It is a weird first person combo of Hitman with the old Thief games. Oh, and a strong dash of tomb raider/uncharted puzzles. But the greatest thing is the actual game feel and story. It feels like a proper fourth Indy movie. Sure, at times it feels like a copy/paste of the first and third movie, but it managed to do so with an originality and respectful vibe. The game is not a gun blazing one. It really feels like hitman! If you love hitman, you will love this. Trust me. The ai is fine. People obviously love hating and play it on easy mode. On proper mode, believe me, the ai is fine and you cannot get out of sticky situations by barging with a gun. Nope. The only cons I have is the fact that the villain is an over the top and overacts nearly every scene. I guess it is a directive, but still, feels a bit cringy.
The other characters and sidekicks are all great, I love Gina ever since I saw her acting at the Master of None series, and she brings the same energy digitally.
This is a great game. End of story. A great, great game. And being able to play it for free with the subscription, come on, nothing compares to it. Oh, and the fight club missions, oh yes, they reminded me of the Cyberpunk boxing quest. What a great game.

This is a very weird sequel. First, it totally ditches the first part and ending story thread. It resets most things. Then, it feels weird. The story is a bit inconsistent and incoherent. This game is exactly is lacking one thing from the first ****. The game has zero fun. Zero satisfaction. Zero everything. It is a tedious, endless backtracking repeat of the same puzzles, over and over and over and over again. It is tiring, a bit silly since they are all solved in milliseconds in your mind but then are so mind-numbingly tedious and boring, they make you want to pull your eyes out - and turn into a scarier monster than the ones present here. The first game had bravado and interest. Something eerie. The second is so bad, in so many ways that makes you think people are talking crazy pills. I do wonder what the third game will be with the new direction, but the game the original team is preparing with the new title is something i will stay away from. This game is not worth your time. It is not worth it. Trust me.

What a bland game. I think it tries to be something like Jedi Fallen Order, but there is no fun or investment in any of the characters or story. How can you fault this game? It is free. It has an awesome style, presentation, plays perfectly and has addictive gameplay mechanics. The world is dense and has a deep lore behind (although I sometimes have no idea what is happening). I have reached the third part of the story, have a bunch of characters, keep leveling up and discovering new ways to play and have not spent ONE dime for the game. I mean, for free with gamepass, this game is a banger. It is simple, lets you simplify the difficulty so that you can reach the point you want in the sim world. I kept it 4/8 in difficulty, club rules with rewind and everything in normal (nothing assisted, ABS only) and it felt like a charm from beginning to end. Try and play it in POV, it is worth it (and is actually easier). It is not GTurismo, but, BUT, the rewind makes it CASUAL and FUN. This is a game you can say heck i wanna play 5 minutes and have fun. The 10 people reviewing it are a good signal this game is horrible. Let us talk about it: you enter this game thinking it will be something like Brothers, or maybe even Little Nightmares. Instead, you are served with one of the jankiest, most badly controlled games with horrendous gameplay, inconsistent mechanics and just the blandest world ever. This game is not just bad, it is one of the WORST games ever created. And it is a fact, since literally nobody plays it. But what is more horrible than everything else, is the Dark souls level of last boss battle. It is so amazingly, unbelievable hard, it makes me realise not even ONE of the reviewers even ended up playing the whole thing. We did. And it was horrible. Bland. Boring. Idiotic. I mean, I just finished it with my PS Plus sub, and for what it's worth for free, it is a ball of fun BUT still feels weird, kinda written from a teenage Chat GPT, most of the time (if not all) I have NO idea what is happening, what we need to do and why, when the bad guy turned good but then bad again, nothing. It is cringy, it is flashy. The gameplay is solid, BUT it does feel like target version of Doom. It feels less "meaty" than doom. It feels rushed. It has potential. The fake positive reviews are driving me crazy. They are all one liners that say nothing but "it is fun, especially with friends!". I am also updating my review because there is a huge issue: the crazy haters who just say iT iS WoKE, i hate it. Dude. What? Have you played the game? This is not woke. P**sing on a dead body is NOT woke. Get your facts straight dude. Stop with your bs hate, because it makes PROPER reviews look tainted and silly. And this does not amplify the facts this game is REALLY bad. Because it is. But please, let us say why the real way. The game is not fun. It is repetitive and mediocre. It feels more like a chore and not like a... game! Two deaths feel horrible and you literally do not know how to react. Actually you know what, I do not understand what the creators were aiming for. This is another case of the mandela effect gaming. A game forgotten in the sands of gaming time, dead on arrival as an exclusive from a company that is now a Playstation Studios member and makes better games too. I really really wanted to love this game. I liked the fact that they just opened the Saints Row 3-4 book and copied the visuals and jokes (although today, they are all cringy and were what killed the Saints Reboot). But this game is... hateful? Bad? Let's just say bad. Great music, yes. Horrible janky mechanics. Jet Set Radio style traversal BUT SO-MUCH-WORSE! Having to hit two buttons for a simple grind. Horrible. The action is messy. It feels like Ratchet and Clank but is harder, messier, note easy to plan ahead. It feels just... bad. The story is non existent, the fetch quests are HORRIBLE. The collectathon is E N D L E S S. This game is not good. But people will insist it is. Then again, most people end up playing it for two hours and say GREAT! The game is free for gamepass. It took me a while to get this game. Having only played the demo of the first, I got this with the PS subscription and at first was put off by it. Boy was I stupid. The game is amazing. The graphics are out of this world, and the gameplay, although a slow burner, turns this game into a survival epic. Sure, the forced stealth sections in any game are a bit tedious, but this is the point of this game. And then, the one thing that drives me crazy for this game is the fact it is in fact a weird sort of retelling of the Last Of Us main story points. But, in a way... sometimes... better? I can't explain it. Please play this game, and invest some time. It picks up much later, but once you hit the 7-8 hour mark, boy it shines.
