I'll just say it: this movie is awesome. In the same way that Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke are magical and meaningful, this film is pure fun. In my opinion, when held against his other films it holds its own. When compared to other films in general, it is just better and more enjoyable than most.

Incredible film. It is such a touching and beautiful film that goes far beyond expectations. The film's message is as important now as it could ever be. This is why Miyazaki is one of the best film makers of all time.

Not much at all going on here. Mostly a waste of time. Great animation as usual but there is almost no plot at all. Very boring. If this was Miyazaki's only film, no one would bother mentioning him.

Garbage. So boring. So, so, so boring. The real horror of this film is wanting to remove your eyes so you can no longer watch it. Why would anyone like this movie? I feel bad for anyone who would watch this movie.

One of the best movies ever made. The fairly slow start is more than made up for with the best villain of all time.
