The labyrinthine immigration system is explained by brilliant talking heads, all of whom happen to be women. Some stories are more upsetting than others. All made me, the daughter of immigrants, cry.

Even if you see only one episode, you’ll come away understanding how dramatically the country’s immigration policies have changed under this president. You’ll feel in your gut the human toll that change has exacted. ... It’s powerful — too powerful, so powerful it overloads our emotional circuits.

Living Undocumented is a passionate piece of advocacy filmmaking, one that -- for all the tears and heart-wrenching moments -- will likely end up preaching to the choir. The Netflix presentation nevertheless puts faces on the toll of US immigration policy, while making a point of noting the role of past administrations as well as the current one.

The documentary portrays the reality of the American immigration system and Trump's inhuman zero-tolerance policy with a whirlwind of emotions that make us empathic and embody every victim of this narrative. Selena Gomez once again using her voice for those who cannot use. We appreciate that.

CHILLING. it’s a really sad reality that people are facing this and it’s ruining their lives and breaking up families. actually taking time to sit down and watch this without breaking down in tears is really hard. kudos to miss selena gomez for producing this it’s really important to shine a light on situations like this since it’s a very difficult and controversial topic to talk about.
