Churchill At War does a good job at repackaging well-examined material in enough of a new way to keep viewers engaged, and maybe even learn some things about Winston Churchill they didn’t already know.

In essence, the series is a relatively superficial primer on Churchill and the war, aimed most likely at US audiences, but the combination of footage and insight (and the ghostly voice of Winnie) makes it worthwhile.
