It did feel that the question of parental responsibility was slightly glossed over by the film-makers. It doesn’t lessen the magnitude of Smith’s crimes to ask as well where other boundaries lie.

While being a bit one-sided, Bad Influence: The Dark Side Of Kidfluencing is still an interesting look at the dodgy world of kidfluencers, and how adults take advantage of kids who are doing the videos for fun, even though the channel is raking in millions of viewers and dollars.
