Well that was god awful. I saw it for free and want my money back. I get it, Schumer is a radical feminist and hates men, WE GET IT, lol... so why have all the funny lines given to men? Literally, even my wife said the same thing, that only the men were funny hahahaha! So yeah, we both laughed maybe 3 times in the whole movie. Skip this. You're welcome.

This film is certainly somewhat cringe-y and forgettable but it is also somewhat amusing and its definitely an easy watch, with little content likely to especially offend. Its silly but ok - no more, no less.

I was not expecting that, in a good way. Although the half of the movie is so-so the rest is a decent comedy.

Think this movie is massively underrated, and actually funnier and tighter than Trainwreck.

When the paradise turned into a hell! People have reason to dislike it, but I'm not on the same page. Of course it was not the best kidnap-adventure I've ever seen. But I enjoyed watching it. Because I felt it was being truthful. I mean Amy Schumer neither a beauty queen nor a sexy devil. Her role was much better than the last time I saw her in a romance-comedy. Except the familiar storyline, this film had a better narration with honest dialogues. So don't criticise me for saying what I felt about her. Another South American based clichéd theme. A woman goes on vacation with her mother after breaking up with her boyfriend. Soon the paradise becomes a 'behind the enemy line' hell. When there's no one is coming to their rescue, the surviving and fight back begins. In an unfamiliar territory, how they plan for their escape and other adventures follows till the last sequence of the film. Both, Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn was good. It was a perfect casting, because the chemistry was good. The pace of the narration was the advantage. A decent direction from the filmmaker of some of the finest comedy films. Surely there's nothing wrong to watch it at once. An average film, or maybe slightly above that. But there's nothing laudable. If you are looking for logicless time pass film, it will do just fine. 6/10

This is pretty pretty bad. I watched it on a plane not realizing it would be edited for content. I can't promise anything, but it may have actually been funnier as a result.

Call me crazy but I kind of liked Snatched. It's not great and it takes several different turns that don't always pay off but it's a worth while watch. I can see the Amy Schumer backlash with 58 negative reviews (Seriously) it isn't anywhere near that bad. It was also great to see Goldie Hawn back on screen. I appreciated Snatched as a middle of the road comedy with some solid supporting characters. B

The first half has a handful of good jokes and is generally solid, the second half just drops off. Especially the terrible worm scene

I think the only word I can use to describe this movie is "Ooooof". This was a journey and not a good one. I think I would have prefered to go through the ordeal these women went through. The film somehow manages to be racist, offensive , annoying and unfunny all at the same time.

A well shot and solidly produced uninspired waste of an otherwise entertaining cast. Please save your time by not watching this.........................................................................................

THIS MOVIE IS A GOLD MINE... I must say that I didn't even know the movie **** to much advertising for it... so I had chances of watching **** I must admit I passed... finally today I decided to give it a shot...right away I saw Goldy was in it... OMG love her!!! then the jokes started flowing.... my face is scared with laughing lines from just laughing the whole way **** is this movie so **** is going to burn in Hell for not giving this movie the publicity it deserves... this is on the same level as Hangover... demonstrating that Women can do any kind on comedy on the same level as **** men will laugh so hard at the comedy here...even though is from a female perspective. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE GUYS.

the worst movie I've seen in a very long time. It's really unfortunate that Goldie Hawn was in this movie because she's genuinely capable of doing great work. Schumer, on the other hand, has never really been funny and has been recycling the same tired **** jokes for what seems to be an eternity.

same old amy clothes, same old amy humor, same old amy hairstyle and the chubby bikini? no it was awkward. She has some great material as a comdedian ( if she writes her own) but she is a lousy actor. every emotion, every scene is acted the same. same hair, same face, same attempt at low grade humor... and i loved her so much. so disappointing. badly written, badly cast sorry.

Amy schumer achieves the impossible! Besides the fact that Amy Schumer officially ended Goldie Hawn's career, she somehow made me hate Ike Barinholtz by proxy. : (

Honestly not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It's far from being good, but it made me laugh a decent amount of times and seeing Goldie Hawn in a film, though it could have been a better one, was truly a delight. It's not horrible, it's just quite forgettable.

This movie was only mildly funny. I could only take so much of this "comedy" before it began to grate on my nerves like a dentist's drill. The script appeared to be written in a "quick, let's make a million bucks today" type deal. You know that feeling 10 minutes in when you say to yourself, "Oh, darn..." Yeah. We left the theater wishing we had seen a different movie. Save your money and wait for it on cable/Netflix.

I would rather watch Santa Paws 2 then this piece of trash movie. Amy Schumer has transformed into Netflix Adam Sandler in such a short period of time.

This is not a bad movie. But, you know what you're getting when you buy your ticket. Funny, raunchy, predictable, but fun. Watching Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn play off each other is fun. And there are some good laughs. I happen to love a good adveture and these two ladies do have an adventure for sure. The mother/daughter dynamic is very relatable and probably familiar for ladies in the audience. I thought it was fun. If you just want some fun at the movies and don't want to have to think too hard, this is the movie for you. Ike Baringoltz is lots of fun as Schumer's agoraphobic, Mama's boy brother. Christopher Meloni is funny too as a wanna-be adventurer who leads to two women astray in hilarious fashion. There are definitely some funny bits.

Amy Schumer plays herself and adds Goldie Hawn in the mix as her mother. Their vacation to South America gets ruined when they're kidnapped. Even though the situation and the pairing is ripe for laffs, the script isn't often funny. There's plenty of comic energy and Schumer's brand of delivery still lands (when there's a good line). Hawn forsakes her classic ditzy style for an uptight, unfunny character. Some of the supporting roles get the most mileage out of the material (Ike Barinholtz, Wanda Sykes, Joan Cusack). The whole endeavor is intermittently enjoyable, but still falls short. NOTE: The starring duo introduces the movie by thanking the audience for coming to see it in an actual cinema.

I was so excited to see Goldie Hawn finally coming back to television, but then I saw the name next to hers on the cover and I knew my mistake immediately. Not only is Amy Schumer acidly unfunny in this movie, she brings the entire cast down with her. I'll give you some advice, don't watch unless you want to be laughing at the movie and not with it. Not impressed.

Garbage. Mainly because of Amy Schumer. It wasn't funny, had terrible joke timing, and was overall what I expected from Schumer. Which was not surprising it ****.

A young and careless woman (Amy Schumer) persuades her ultra-cautious mother (Goldie Hawn) to accompany her on a exotic vacation. What could go wrong? There are three types of American mainstream comedies. I will call them entry level (no talent, no good material), middle class (some talent, not enough good material) and top-shelf (enough talent and good material). All of them are rather dirty, of course. What self-respecting modern comedy would not show or talk about genitals, sex, ****, farting, getting drunk etc, am I right or am I right? „Snatched“ is a middle class efforts which gives us the second starring role of Amy Schumer, the up and coming funny woman type movie star previously seen in Judd Apatow’s „Trainwreck“. I haven’t seen her stand up routines, but as an actress, she’s feels something like a new improved Melissa McCarthy or Lena Dunham. Meaning she looks sexier and does not try to outgross us at every possible turn (at least not so much). But she’s still here to make us laugh with the power of dirty and embarrassing jokes. „Snatched“ was released just before Mothers Day (on 19th of May in Estonia) and marketed like a girl power comedy, but it’s still essentially a entertainment solely for boys. The more intelligent female viewers will probably not find much to laugh at (except at how stupid everything is), or will even hate Schuumer’s character for being so moronic. Luckily for the makers of this movie, I am not one of the more intelligent female viewers, and I have always enjoyed dirty American comedies, even if most of them are setting the bar pretty low. So I gotta admit that I enjoyed most of „Snatched“ although it doesn’t aim high and overall feels lightweight. Nobody’s trying that hard and there’s just a series of sketches instead of a something clearly resembling a cohesive unit called movie. But just like in Adam Sandler’s comedies, the performers have enough charm to pull us through and entertain us mildly until the end credits start to roll. Schumer is fun and holds her own in the lead, Goldie Hawn as her character’s mother feels surprisingly charmless, luckily she’s OK to stay back and let the others shine. (Of course, it’s been 15 years since Hawn’s last movie and I never actually found her that amusing in the first place.) And then there are colorful supporting roles by Christopher Meloni, Wanda Sykes and Joan Cusack. So, a fun bunch to hang around with for 91 minutes. You will probably not enjoy „Snatched“ as much as I did. But then again, this movie was made for people like me who never quite grow out of lowbrow jokes. Arf!

This movie is hilarious!!! I laughed THROUGHOUT the show because so much of the humor was unexpected. I saw it with my daughter on Mother's Day, which was a perfect way to start the celebration.

Eventually, this got less rating from CRITICS than Ritches new movie. Whats next, huh? Adam Sandler`s comedy higher than Snyder`s new movie? What a time to be alive

Director Jonathan Levine returns to the world of scripted comedy with "Snatched," a well-intentioned mother/daughter vehicle that will often bring the laughs, but only in spite of the mother and daughter characters. Yes, it's the likes of supporting cast members Ike Barinholtz, Bashir Salahuddin, Christopher Meloni, Wanda Sykes, and Joan Cusack that make this crime comedy at least worth sitting through. That isn't necessarily to say that leads Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn do a particularly bad job with their respective characters. But the limited chemistry and flat joke deliveries ultimately can't move the needle enough for me in the end.

I enjoyed this film for what it was -- a slightly raunchy action comedy with two perfectly amiable, engaging actresses. The pacing kept me involved and while not the funniest movie ever made, it certainly had enough laughs to keep me entertained.

Ike Berenholtz is by far the funniest part of this movie. Sure, Amy is great, and she's super funny for the first half or so, but her character runs out of gas. It's only decent. But for Hollywood these days, you could do a lot worse.

Save your money and don't waste your time this movie is a dud. The acting is null and void along with the script. Walked out that is how boring this movie is and a total waste of time.

Wow, this movie surprised me. I am not the biggest fan of Schumer or Goldie Hawn for that matter. But they are hilarious in this movie, as is the entire cast - one funny bit after the next. Ike Barinholtz and Chris Meloni particularly funny. I was laughing out loud the entire movie, as was everyone in the theatre where I saw it. Really good fun, great romp, great laughs - well done people!

Ignore the trolls giving this 1/10 on here, Rotten Tomatoes and IMDb. I don't mind Amy Schumer, I used to love her on the Roasts but lately she's gotten annoying and repetitive (not to mention too political for my taste). But I'm not going to lie and say "Snatched" didn't make me chuckle enough times to recommend. Most of the biggest laughs come from the supporting cast, Schumer and Hawn are just OK, but if a basic plot doesn't bother you, this is far from the worst comedy (or movie) out right now.

If only I could get to see majority of Snatched without getting cringed, then maybe I could have given this one a chance, but this had to be done for the greater good in filmmaking. It's official Snatched isn't a great movie to see, maybe one of those most cringeworthy movies of the year.
