Baywatch5
Aug 18, 2017
Cant even hate too much on this; of course the runtime is bloated and some drama elements are garbage but it is somewhat entertaining
Aug 13, 2017
Despicable Me 36
Aug 13, 2017
I dont know how many more of these are necessary. They are all light entertainment, nothing more and nothing less
Aug 13, 2017
Going in Style3
Aug 13, 2017
Pretty much what expexted, a low effort production with a throwaway script and wasted talent. Didnt know Zach Braff was responsible for this
Aug 12, 2017
I Called Him Morgan7
Aug 12, 2017
Your typical netflix documentary about a Jazz musician, just very solid and well made yet nothing i will remember
Aug 12, 2017
Icarus8
Aug 12, 2017
The first half hour is a bit confusing but then it turns into a great Thriller with a comical russian scientist. One of the best documentaries of 2017
Aug 11, 2017
Girls Trip7
Aug 11, 2017
Just feels more natural R Rated than Girls' Night out. Could have been even better but the long runtime and the unnecessary romantic/drama elements held it back
Aug 9, 2017
Fences7
Aug 9, 2017
The script is thicker than Viola's ass. Im not a fan of stage plays but the performances make Fences worth to watch. Wouldn't surprise me if they get the double Oscar
Aug 9, 2017
War on Everyone8
Aug 9, 2017
The Second best comedy of 2016 behind Deadpool. In my Top 15 best movies of 2016. Won't be funny to you if you have a tumblr account
Aug 9, 2017
Passengers6
Aug 9, 2017
I liked Jennifer Lawrence. The Humor worked surprisingly well and the effects were solid. Definitely a good couples movie
Aug 9, 2017
Why Him?4
Aug 9, 2017
Comedies should be 90minutes, the scenes in here go on for way too long. A lot of generic jokes. Key and Franco are good; the **** Party scene is funny
Aug 9, 2017
Christine7
Aug 9, 2017
I liked this better than Kate plays Christine because ist an actual film, Rebecca Hall is great. The D would have saved her
Aug 9, 2017
The Great Wall3
Aug 9, 2017
If it weren't for the very good 3D Action scenes this would be a 1/2 star film. I got goosebumps of how bad the rest was. I also watched this in D-Box seats, fun at the beginning but annoying later on, definitely not worth it
Aug 9, 2017
Patriots Day7
Aug 9, 2017
The First 20 minutes are throwaway material. The Film has some weird scenes but it's also an engaging chase and they did a great job mixing the original footage in
Aug 9, 2017
xXx: Return of Xander Cage6
Aug 9, 2017
Eye rolling entertainment is the best way I can describe this cancer fiesta.
The Action is actually really good, only the Motorcycle on the water sequence has some very bad CGI. Tony Jaa sells his soul again and Tony Gonzales, Michael Bisping and Neymar follow him. Nice surprise at the end
Aug 9, 2017
Jackie6
Aug 9, 2017
Her way of speaking is very off putting at first, it takes a while to get used to. I like the score. The film is intriguing but it feels too long, it really drags in the middle
Aug 9, 2017
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter3
Aug 9, 2017
The film felt lazy to me and ive only watched RE: Afterlife, maybe people with the detailed story background will appreciate this more. Ruby Rose is underused, she has even less screentime in here than in xXx: The return of Xander Cage. I counted 8 jump scares in the first 20 minutes and everytime they cranked up the volume to the max. CGI was mostly fine mixed with some really bad ones and 3D isnt great. 50% of the dialogue is them repeating what you literally just watched and the synchro is one of the worst ive heard.
The editor went full Michael J. Fox and copied the Taken 3 cuts, you barely can see a thing.
The few positive things about RE: The Final Chapter are the overall visual style, the dystopian setting, the design of some cretaures and a handful of fun Action moments
Aug 9, 2017
The Edge of Seventeen6
Aug 9, 2017
The scenes with Woody Harrelson are the best thing about this film. The edge of seventeen has its charm but it gets pretty cheesy at the end
Aug 9, 2017
The Love Witch6
Aug 9, 2017
The Love Witch has a great look and an unique vibe; very goofy but the various **** make up for it
Aug 9, 2017
Hacksaw Ridge8
Aug 9, 2017
First time Vince Vaughn is funny in something. The whole cast is very convincing. Great War scenes. The ending isnt good
Aug 9, 2017
Cameraperson7
Aug 9, 2017
I liked the compilation style of ****. Gets an honorable mention in my Top 10 Documentaries of 2016 list
Aug 9, 2017
The Founder6
Aug 9, 2017
The Founder is as solid film, nothing much to criticize. I actually liked Blow Job Novak in here. Keaton is fine, the side characters are acceptable too
Aug 9, 2017
Lion7
Aug 9, 2017
Fantastic first half, big drop off in the second, great ending. The kid in the beginning is very good. Patel is terrible in this, good thing hes not in it the whole film
Aug 9, 2017
Silence6
Aug 9, 2017
You know Scorsese is a good filmmaker when he can make Adam Driver even uglier. Going a bit overboard with the god thing......
Aug 9, 2017
Win It All6
Aug 9, 2017
Jake johnson films are always likeable and thats the problem, they never exceed beyond that. Typical indie film, watchable, nothing exciting
Aug 9, 2017
Sand Castle4
Aug 9, 2017
Sand Castle is not terrible just filled with cliches. Netflix still can't do movies, one thing they should figure out in the future
Aug 9, 2017
Snatched5
Aug 9, 2017
The first half has a handful of good jokes and is generally solid, the second half just drops off. Especially the terrible worm scene
Aug 9, 2017
CHIPS2
Aug 9, 2017
They just didnt write any jokes, the script is boring. Weird that someone financed this project. Shepard & Pena are better as side actors than main
Aug 9, 2017
Smurfs: The Lost Village2
Aug 9, 2017
This film is pretty terrible. I remember watching the first smurf film and it was fine but this installment is garbage.
Aug 9, 2017
Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie4
Aug 9, 2017
Even weirder than The Boss baby. Ive never heard of the books before. I think Kevin Hart does a solid job as a voice actor
Aug 7, 2017
The LEGO Batman Movie7
Aug 7, 2017
Strong beginning&weak ending, some repetitive joke patterns. Still very funny, great writing&voice actors. The Lego movie was better though
Aug 7, 2017
Fifty Shades Darker0
Aug 7, 2017
Anal beads cost less than a movie ticket, so how about all the 45y old **** housewifes buy them instead of watching this trash
Aug 7, 2017
Underworld: Blood Wars5
Aug 7, 2017
I always liked the style of the Underwold movies and they're all watchable films. Light 90min entertainment x5
Aug 7, 2017
Gold5
Aug 7, 2017
McConaughey gained 45lbs for the role to match Bryce Dallas Howard's physique. The film is mildly entertaining but it follows a generic script. McConaughey goes fully overboard and it's laughable at times
Aug 7, 2017
Live by Night4
Aug 7, 2017
Elle Fanning is worth watching but there is just absolutely nothing exciting about this film, completely middle of the road
Aug 7, 2017
John Wick: Chapter 27
Aug 7, 2017
The first half of the film is a problem because there is basically no action beside the (great) 10min Opening and I was getting bored. Luckily the second half is the opposite and the action shifts to like 70/30% for the rest of the runtime. The catacombs sequence is fantastic and every Keanu Reeves+Common scene is highlight material
Aug 7, 2017
Fist Fight5
Aug 7, 2017
It's not terrible; Charlie Day and Jillian Bell are pretty funny. The director also directed multiple It's always sunny in Philadelphia episodes so you got some of this type of humor in here
Aug 7, 2017
Fantastic Mr. Fox3
Aug 7, 2017
The voices are great but I absolutely hate the animation style. Wes Anderson's films seem to not be my thing
Aug 7, 2017
Detour4
Aug 7, 2017
Has a B-Movie feel to it. I don't think the performances are good. The narrative structure is the most interesting part
Aug 7, 2017
Evolution6
Aug 7, 2017
This film just leaves you hanging, I wanted more explanations. It's beautiful to look at but the movie doesn't use its full potential
Aug 7, 2017
I don't feel at home in this world anymore.7
Aug 7, 2017
The Film doesn't shy away from violence and the scenes with some in it are great, like the end fight in the house. The humor didn't always work for me; Melanie Lynskey wasn't funny, she's one of the weaker parts of the film. Elijah Wood was very good, Jane Levy too, she would have been a better lead to properly sell the Coors product Placement instead of a woman with a **** dough figure
Aug 7, 2017
Logan9
Aug 7, 2017
Logan is a revelation from Marvel's PG13 Avengers cancer meta. The R rated (but really NC-17) Action is fantastic.
The Performance are great through the board, I disliked Boyd Holbrook in Narcos but he's perfect in here, the girl has a lot of potential and even Stephen Merchant is a pleasant surprise. The humor works in the right spots and the sentimental moments never linger too long, they're always timed right and know when to move on.
The few things that keep Logan from being perfect are a handful of cheap looking cgi moments and some lazy script writing.
In the end is Logan one of the best films I've seen in the last couple of years
Aug 7, 2017
Burning Sands4
Aug 7, 2017
I like the sundance pick ups by netflix, no months long release delay anymore, they just acquire it and put it out.
The film doesnt feel organic, it feels kinda off and pretty generic at times. Last years "Goat" is a better film about college hazing
Aug 7, 2017
All Nighter5
Aug 7, 2017
Not really funny& tons of cliches and the only thing that prevents this film from being bad is the cast- Some very talented people in here.
Aug 7, 2017
Ghost in the Shell7
Aug 7, 2017
I didn't see the original but the trailer was insane so I was hyped. Certainly not the masterpiece I hoped for. Some parts felt clunky and unpolished, a handful of CGI scenes were straight up bad, especially during the end fight. Other scenes were amazing, the rare soundtrack was great and overall I liked Ghost in the Shell
Aug 7, 2017
The Boss Baby6
Aug 7, 2017
I didnt like the intro and the animation changes troughout the film. The boss baby is pretty weird at times, not consistently funny, more like a handful of good jokes, like the elvis bit. The interesting idea turns into something generic
Aug 7, 2017
Sandy Wexler1
Aug 7, 2017
I mean he stopped trying a long time ago but this is probably the pinnacle of it. This netflix deal is worse than the espn-mnf deal
Aug 7, 2017
Tootsie6
Aug 7, 2017
I'm not a fan of the crossdressing thing. Dustin Hoffman is good and the film has its funny moments but the story is somewhat generic
Aug 7, 2017
Kong: Skull Island6
Aug 7, 2017
The first 25 minutes are cancer. As soon as they get on the island it's pretty entertaining. I like the creature design for the most part, the spider scene is great. Really random slow mo effects throughout the film. Almost all actors are terrible but I'm here for The monster fights and they are good
Aug 7, 2017
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 25
Aug 7, 2017
The neckbeard Humor is really forcing it. The scenes with Pratt & russell are terrible. Still one of the better marvel movies meaning 2 1/2 stars
Aug 7, 2017
Alien: Covenant8
Aug 7, 2017
