Their timing and commitment elevate the material, turning even the silliest moments into genuine laugh-out-loud scenes. It feels less like a reboot and more like a reunion, and that energy is infectious. The humour is broad, unapologetically crude, and often absurd, but it knows exactly what it is. Really bad movie. Sadly, nothing makes sense. The jokes feel random, the story is all over the place, and most scenes aren't funny at all. It seems like the movie relies on being loud and chaotic instead of actually being clever. I expected a fun parody, but it was just disappointing from start to finish.

I am happy that there is another scary movie and I am glad the original creators got their franchise back. I am not happy that this is not as funny as any of the other movies. I laughed a little bit but rolled my eyes more and was, more often than not, bored. It is nice to see the original cast, but I get the feeling that it is hard to deliver teen goofball quips when middle aged and not actually seeing the humour in the remarks. The main problem was the script. While a lot of these movies were sketches with little plot, the funny jokes had extended gags and funny scenarios set up by the plot, which is sorely lacking here. Unfortunately a middle aged man smoking a joint and giggling is not very funny, not the first time and certainly not however many times he did it here. I wanted to like this move, took my silliest friends to see it, got a bit drunk prior, but no, not funny. We plan on doing a marathon of the old movies to make up for it.

Scary Movie 1 will always be a Master Class of Parody, due to how focused and logical the comedy flows. With Scary Movie 6, the attempt to return to that form is incredibly Difficult as it reuses a lot of the story plot from the very first film. I believe the Wayans brothers are indeed trying their best and gaining as much inspiration from reality, and trying to be as creative as possible; however, the plot for this movie is ****- sorry, it just is. Again, they fall into the trap of doing too many things that are unrelated or pointless and forget what is actually happening in the ****. The lady that works in the hospital hit the living **** out of Ghostface, but didn't do a face reveal...come on. All that happens is the next scene of the movie. Guys, you have to make the film make sense, make it flow, not cut a skit/scene and bundle them together. Next are the jokes; I think some of them hit, but others just lead on to nowhere. Another major problem with the film. Some jokes do hit, but they are far and few in between due to how broken the story is.HOWEVER, the film does take some narrative risks, like at the very end, which actually fit the style of this movie since they kinda wrote themselves into a corner. Finally, the **** How is the CGI good? In a parody film, impressive really. And the cinematography, even in some selected scenes, is well done; still lacking a bit of detail, but still well done. Overall, this is a 7/10; it's better than the previous films 3,4, and 5 but not by **** is a good film, not great, not amazing or perfect, just good due to its modern use of parodies/jokes and just the quality all around in the acting, music, and so on. Now let's talk about White Chicks; Wayans don't F*ck it up. Make sure you are ready and understand what the first film actually is; do not try absurd comedy, try smart yet stereotypical comedy like the first with a bit of a sexual presence. You know what I'm saying...Good Luck, White Chicks 2 is probably gonna be the hardest film you do in your entire careers. Don't break the fourth wall; be serious about this.

It was a decent one watch of a franchise sure to make you laugh a few times. The story was an absolute mess but there were many times this had me laughing out loud. It's hard to REALLY mess one of these movies up.

Its comedy perfection. If you love to laugh and you love horror movies this is made for you. From the expert script, spot on parodies and overall there's a good new joke almost every minute. There's a reason there are countless sequels, the original is hard to beat. Cindy & Brenda 4EVA!!

Con una mezcla de referencias al cine de terror contemporáneo, la cultura pop y el humor absurdo, la película busca ofrecer una experiencia ligera enfocada exclusivamente en hacer reír.Algunas secuencias consiguen ese objetivo gracias a su ritmo acelerado y a la disposición de burlarse de prácticamente cualquier película o tendencia del momento. Cuando la comedia funciona, recuerda por qué la serie llegó a ser tan exitosa. Sin embargo, el resultado es muy irregular. Muchas bromas dependen demasiado de referencias pasajeras o de un humor exagerado que no siempre conecta con todos los **** película nunca pretende tomarse en serio y mantiene un tono desenfadado de principio a fin. The landscape has changed so much in the last 20 years and it's like they're stuck in the early 2000's doing the same old and tired type of humor. The only "new" things are unfunny gags that are trying to be provocative for the sake of being provocative while being unfunny and cringe. Eminem was provocative AND funny in the early 2000s, this is **** so so so late to the party.

Tiveram uma boa inspiração seguindo a msm ideia que o Pânico 5 ao retornar com o cast original e ainda incluir novos personagens. Não tem coerência cronológica referente aos filmes anteriores, mas isso nunca foi relevante na franquia. As referências e paródias aos filmes dos últimos anos são boas, claro que ainda tem aquele humor 5a Série mas algumas sacadas fazem a gente rir. Espero que façam mais filmes de paródia, eles são necessários pra zuar e criticar a indústria do entretenimento.

Me pareció muy divertida, aunque irregular. Empieza bastante bien y me gustó que mantiene ese humor pesado y absurdo de siempre. Sin embargo, el acto final se siente sin sentido y termina siendo un desastre. Tampoco conecté mucho con los nuevos personajes.

Brave jokes with nowadays trends. Good ol' characters are back. I missed this kind of movies so much. Unfortunately there is still place for good jokes...

Collection of references rather than an actual comedy. A handful of scenes landed and got a genuine laugh, but those moments were few and far between. Most of the humor seemed to rely on cameos, or callbacks to older movies instead of delivering fresh jokes. The biggest issue is that recognition isn’t the same as comedy. Spotting a familiar face or understanding a reference can be mildly amusing, but it rarely creates the laugh-out-loud energy that made the early entries memorable. The film often feels like it’s nudging the audience and saying, “Remember this?” instead of giving them something new to enjoy.Fans of the franchise may appreciate the return of familiar cast members, but if you’re looking for sharp parody or consistent laughs, this one is likely to disappoint. Unfortunately, the joke count never catches up to the reference count.

Scary Movie is an excellent film with returning cast from the first Scary Movie; nostalgic fun with many jokes a plenty including breaking the fourth wall & made for fans of the franchise. I was laughing out loud for pretty much the entire film. Scary Movie is a must see for fans of horror and comedy.

Todo Mundo em Pânico 6 não reinventa a fórmula, mas cumpre o que promete: uma paródia exagerada que entrega humor bobo e risadas garantidas para quem acompanha a franquia.

Vale pela nostalgia, temos um elenco interesante aqui, mas o amontoado de piadas desfuncionais assustam mais do que certos filmes homenageados, e estranhamente tem um apego em bater no "politicamente correto" que retira certa naturalidade. De fato é uma edição pavoroza, com certos quadros que poderiam ser retirados no meio do filme que não alterariam em nada a mensagem. Ainda funciona pelas referências aos filmes do ano, logo, por tudo que lhe é externo.

Don’t trust the critics! They aren’t always that reliable and in this case not at all! They get paid to do this and often get free entrances and free tickets for these movies! So don’t pay too much attention to them! Instead of reading/hearing critics and let them brainwash you into adding a bad review even without watching it, go and watch it, it’s loads of fun, the parodies are great and so are the jokes! People were laughing historically in the room at the cinema! One even left crying from laughing so hard, said she had not laughed this hard in years! Go and watch it, have fun! It’s worth your time and money!

The new 'Scary Movie' boasts of being offensive to everyone, but its humor feels so dated and basic that it only elicits pity. The Wayans brothers repeat themselves with poop, weed, and **** jokes. The parody boils down to a collection of sketches that barely land; only a couple, like the one about 'The Substance,' manage to pull it off. The film is so engrossed in mocking minorities that it forgets to make sense of its attempted plot. Conservatives will love it, of course.

A film that isn't funny at all. It's a shame I was hoping for it after 25 years. Failed.

Disjointed as heck. You can tell there was a lot of post-production work with obvious cuts and reshoots. The main story is minimal and pathetic. The entire movie revolves around what they can parody vs what they could work a script around. It simply isn't funny.

The best Scary Movie I've seen in the entire franchise. without seeking critics' approval and without being perfect, just to clear your mind and have a good laugh to take your mind off your problems. I hope everything goes well with Scary Movie 7 and White Chicks.

Scary Movie 6 is AWESOME! This movie brings back everything that made the classic Scary Movie films so funny. The jokes had me laughing the whole time, and seeing familiar characters return made it even better. The Wayans-style humor is back, and the movie does a great job parodying modern horror movies and pop culture. The cast has great chemistry, the cameos are hilarious, and there are plenty of moments that caught me completely off guard. If you're a fan of the original Scary Movie movies, this is a must-watch. It's silly, ridiculous, and exactly what a Scary Movie sequel should be. I had a blast from start to finish and would definitely watch it again. 9/10!

Literally Scary Movie. There's no expectations or real critique. Only humor. If you like funny movies, this is it. Tons of references to the first two films, including the plot, but with modern twists. Again, if you're sensitive, this isn't for you. Filled with many references to memes, trends, and popular horror films released in the last fifteen to ten years. Those references are mostly hilarious but at times deeply confusing and not funny at all... some scenes were not necessary. The ending could have been handled in a much better way.

A good movie after the mediocre films of the franchise A movie to enjoy for a while

The Razzie awards have a new frontrunner for a clean sweep this year. This Scary Movie sequel shows why spoof movies/parody films have fallen out of favour since the mid/late 2000's to early 2010's, with the exception of last year's Naked Gun sequel. Very dated references (using Scream 5 and 6 as the main plot they are trying to spoof, with some jabs at Terrifier 3, Wednesday, Weapons, K Pop Demon Hunters, Midsommar, and Long Legs, among some that I immediately spotted), poor attempts at trying to mock the horror genre/the featured films, and "jokes" that fall incredibly short. Then add on a very large dose of hateful, distasteful, and unfunny "jokes" to many groups (especially people in the LGTBQ+ community, and even people with disabilities). It feels like an unfunny sketch that you'd see on SNL, or a cringy early YouTube skit, but stretched out to the length of a movie, with all time worse performances for the featured cast. The 2026 Scary Movie is a strong reminder as to why the lazy spoof films of the 2000's and early 2010's should have stayed as long forgotten relics of the past. If you wanted a good, or at least a better spoof by comparison, just watch the original Scary Movie, and forget about this one.

Much better than that terrible and boring *The Naked Gun* reboot. Funny and entertaining.

Fazia tempo que não me divertia tanto com um filme besteirol, é bom se divertir com "PIADAS" o humor está de volta meus amigos :D

o filme e um monte de referencias jogadas na tela, e, é cheio de piadas sem graça, é muito curto, quando chega a parte final, vc acha que ainda esta na metade do filme, puro fan service, nao tem roteiro nenhum, mas, me fez rir em algumas partes entao e legal

Fantastic movie, Laughed from start to finish. Very fun and very funny. They make fun with everybody.

Scary Movie 6 did feel like 1 and 2 which are regarded as the best ones. It had a lot of throwbacks to the original movie and the actors new and old all played their roles well. The story wasn't hard to follow despite the large number of movies they parodied. I would make sure you watch Scream 6 and 7 at the minimum before watching it as it parodies them the most. If you have the time watch Ma, Longlegs, Get Out, and The Substance since they have some longer parody scenes that you may not understand if you haven't seen those movies. The other movies it parodies like Sinners, Weapons, Terrifier, and Megan only have short scenes or you can understand it for the most part without seeing those movies. It definitely had it's funny moments and most of the theater laughed multiple times throughout but it wasn't the funniest movie I have ever seen. I think Scary movie 1 is still the best with 6 tied with 2 for the second best. If you enjoyed 1 and 2 definitely go see this one.

The plot was too focused on the old crew, used too many racist white/ black jokes to try and shock but it just became boring. Not enough time with links to recent scary movies. Came away very disappointed and wish I had gone to see Masters of the Universe (which looks crap)

The whole movie was made out of jokes from the old movies, there where some good jokes but the whole movie was like a overstimulated malcolm in the middle episode

Wazzzzup! This was actually pretty good. Only part that felt off a bit was when shorty first got introduced. It felt like he said his catchphrase a bit too much but other than that it was spoofed nicely. And we got more of the bumbling Ghostface this time around which was a welcoming delight! Movie felt a bit short too so I must've been enjoying it lol.
