When have we seen the same performer playing both parts in a sexual situation? It happens here, not once but twice.
67
Messy and scattershot, with a plot that's little more than a dirty version of ''Flubber.''

Aw come on. This is one of my favorite movies ever. It's funny and ****'s good. Scratch that, excellent!!! I couldn't even find one flaw! I would give it a chance and if you're into comedy, you'll love this.

Eddie's back and thanks to the success of the hilarious Klump family in the first film the sequel was based around them. It's probably on par with the first film with just as many jokes, and I loved having more of the Klumps on screen, but that 'dinner scene' has lost its effect from the first film. Janet replaces Jada and she fits in well with the film. There is a nice blend of comedy mixed with good messages but overall its a great comedy and again Eddie's best work in my opinion.

Defiantly sophomoric, often hilarious and crude as all get-out.

Half a movie at best. The broad humor at times derails Mr. Murphy's performances, but the movie provides a vehicle for him to display his reach.
30
Half vulgar and funny, half tedious and cloying; despite the shameless laughs, it's still a disappointment.
20
Suffers from a serious case of sophomore slump.
10
It will linger like a foul odor or the taste of tinfoil between the teeth.

It's actually a pretty funny movie to watch. Not one of the best comedies but it's going to laugh out loud for sure! My score for "Nutty Professor 2" is 7/10, but not because it has some issues, it's just my personal score, i just like other kind of comedies, as i said it's still great though!

Eddie Murphy should have just stopped at the first movie. The first movie was crude enough, but this took it to a whole new level. And what happened to Klump's girlfriend from the first movie? Did they break up or something? Now his new girlfriend is played by Janet Jackson.

Nutty Professor II: The Klumps, should have been called The Dumps because it's crap compared to the original and what the hell is Janet Jackson doing in this movie because she didn't belong in this film full stop, stick to singing. Eddie Murphy is a good actor but compared to the original it's rubbish because The Nutty Professor is an excellent film and it's pretty funny. Nutty Professor II was just awful in every way and some sequels work like Terminator 2, Aliens, Lethal Weapon 2, French Connection II which was an excellent film but Nutty Professor II doesn't work and for a sequel it's pretty bad. Skip this junk.

The first Nutty Professor played off its premise without trying too hard, but the second one is juts plain vulgar, idiotic, and quite manic. Steer clear.
