Nowhere was actually better than I expected, especially for a Netflix survival movie. It keeps things simple — basically one character, one box, one nightmare situation — but it manages to stay tense without dragging too much. I liked how the film focuses almost entirely on her trying to stay alive with whatever scraps she has; it makes the whole thing feel way more grounded than most streaming thrillers. There are definitely moments where the logic gets a little shaky, but the performance sells it. Watching her slowly piece together ways to survive, patch herself up, and figure out how to protect the baby gives the movie a nice emotional weight. The pacing dips here and there, but overall it kept me hooked more than I **** a 7/10, it fits perfectly — not amazing, not unforgettable, but genuinely well-done and surprisingly engaging for such a minimal setup. A solid “didn’t regret watching it” kind of film.

Much better than I expected it to be! Plausible story, decent acting. The protagonist was a teacher and came up with some realistic solutions, though why she didn't syphon the water from the container, or continue her method of emptying the water seemed a plot failure. Regardless it was an entertaining watch.

Wow. Yes, the movie is full of all sorts of weaknesses, illogical or impossible scenarios, requires a lot of willing suspension of disbelief, etc. But what a powerful piece of filmmaking and acting. I judge films by how emotionally drained they leave me. This one left me totally emotionally drained, on a scale I don't experience very often.

Anna Castillo plays a woman who has to escape her country that's been taken over by fascists who kill women and children to conserve resources. She and her husband attempt to escape in a shipping container, but ultimately she finds herself alone in the middle of the ocean, pregnant! If you know the classic serial The Perils of Pauline (1914), this movie brings that to mind. Every 10 minutes another disastrous event seems like the end, but she prevails. As expected, there are some absurd contrivances that defy credibility, but for simple escapist thrills, this film is a fun watch.
