Really cool film!!! Protagonist sort of becomes the villain of the story. This movie covers very heavy topics like terrorism & gun violence, the emotions were believable, the story/premise is unique & interesting, would recommend this film to practically anyone. Also neat to see a US film that doesn't have the "happy ending" sort of situation which plagues most movies here in the states.

A hashtag adotada é o nome do filme original, #notokay.

I feel like someone saw how "Dear Evan Hansen" was gonna turn out and decided, "Hey, we can do this better." Not Okay is a good movie, it shines a light on today's social media age and how people will do practically anything for their 15 minutes of fame. People whose entire existence relies upon the number of followers they have on their Instagram, Twitter on TikTok. This film attempts to showcase how **** steal a quote from Johnny Cash, "What's done in the dark, will be brought to the light." We see it all the time in today's shock jock media culture where the same internet that had brought you to the dance will take you down in a matter of seconds. Actions have consequences. The execution isn't flawless, I felt like the ending was a bit harsh considering people have done alot worse in society. Zoey Deutch is criminally underrated actress and her friendship with Mia Isaac felt real and believable. It works well as both a comedy and drama

This movie is so well written, that it's really hard to watch at times, because you will truly despise Danni, and how she acts. I loved it. Has its flaws tho.

The film gives us a real demonstration of what your actions can do and affect other people surrounding you. Good performances of Zoey Deutch, Dylan O'Brien, and Mia Isaac. The film does not have slow moments, really hit the goal is trying to achieve. It's not a complicated film, is very easy to understand and not get bored by it.

A movie filled with terrible people, but also unentertaining people. The massage is simple and firm, but seems like a very fringe message, don't co opt actual trauma for yourself.

Why insist on treating the problems of online life only from the Zillennials point of view when now all the important people up to the pope and the POTUS have a social account and a working group that supports them in the hunt for followers?

Zoey Deutch plays an aspiring writer who's desperate for friends, so she fakes a trip to Paris on social media. When an unfortunate tragedy happens there, her posts about the event boost her internet popularity. Of course, the truth must eventually come out, leaving us with an extended message about the evils of social media and the attendant attention that so many people crave today. Deutch does fine with the up and down aspects of her character. The supporting cast is OK, but lacking much interest. While this might look like a comedy, it's more a dark satire without any laffs. At least the ending was appropriate.

Okay, I know this is a satire, but I found the whole premise tasteless. I don't think the whole bombing survivors theme was treated with enough respect. Also, everything in it is cringe-worthy, and the acting was meh. Of course, I'm not the target of this, but "Not Okay" could've been at least decent with a better screenplay and a different approach.
