As a psychological thriller, it starts off strong and has a lot of style, but its point about anti-consumerism falls flat near the end.

I'd like to write a review, but the first rule of Fight Club is that we don't talk about Fight Club.

A cultural impact to society."Fight Club" is a a distinct movie, a fairy tale for where the violent people feel welcome, a creative movie.I loved Edward Norton as Jack, the man narrating this as well, which I loved narrating throughout. It has a lot of exposition & what is in his mind - not to mention imagining a penguin, possibly from Ipanema (it was animated from Blue Sky's Studios). Then, there was Marla Singer (Helena Bonham Carter). She would be ready to go into that club of cancer, as long as she smoked enough. Well, there was a lot of smoking by **** everybody was an iconic character - Jack, Tyler & Marla & then some. Iconic lines too - (I should not say some **** do have that friends-to-enemies & enemies-to-friends to the end where you are the main character & your world is devastated but you do not **** was you against the world.Oops, I broke the rules.

Um dos plot twists mais bem executados de todo o cinema.
É sem sombra de duvidas, um filme para se assistir antes de morrer.

This isn’t just a film. It’s controlled chaos with a purpose. Fight Club doesn’t ask for your attention—it takes it. What starts as a story about frustration and identity quickly spirals into something far more unsettling. Brad Pitt and Edward Norton deliver performances that feel raw, unpredictable, and completely locked into the film’s energy. Every scene builds toward something bigger, even when it feels like it’s falling apart. The writing is sharp, layered, and intentionally uncomfortable. It challenges you instead of entertaining you in the usual way—and that’s exactly why it stands out. It’s not flawless. The intensity and messaging won’t land the same way for everyone, and it definitely isn’t trying to be universally liked. Final Verdict: Not made to please you. Made to mess with you—and it succeeds. Cinema wins. Mediocrity loses.

Fight Club is a daring, provocative masterpiece that blends psychological depth with unforgettable style. David Fincher’s direction is meticulous, darkly stylish, and perfectly paced, guiding Edward Norton and Brad Pitt through a story that challenges societal norms while keeping viewers fully engaged. The film’s exploration of identity, consumerism, and masculinity resonates decades after its release, while the shocking twists and layered narrative reward attentive viewing. With magnetic performances, sharp dialogue, and a hauntingly precise aesthetic, Fight Club remains as thrilling, thought-provoking, and culturally impactful today as it was in the late 1990s — a true landmark of modern cinema.

Gerçekten sağlam bir film
Filmin vermeye çalıştığı mesajlar filmi gerçekten kaliteli yapıyor bundan ziyade Brad Pitt`in bu filmdeki muazzam oyunculuğuda çok iyi.

There are films that define an era — movies that don’t just tell a story but expose the pulse ****. Fight Club is one of them. David Fincher builds a visual and emotional bomb that detonates against modern alienation, consumerism, and the false identities we create to survive. It’s brutal, provocative, uncomfortable… and absolutely brilliant.Edward Norton perfectly embodies the lost man, trapped in an empty routine, until Tyler Durden appears — Brad Pitt at his most magnetic. Together, they personify the duality we all carry within: the obedient self and the one who longs to destroy everything. What’s fascinating is how Fincher turns that contained rage into a collective liberation that spirals out of control, mirroring a social unrest that still feels painfully **** direction bursts with wild energy. The editing, the visuals, the voiceover — everything drags you through a whirlwind that moves from dark humor to pure madness. Fincher plays with style, narrative, and perception, leading to that unforgettable twist that leaves you breathless. And then “Where Is My Mind” by the Pixies kicks in, and it all clicks — chaos, love, destruction, and the eerie calm that follows.Beyond its violence or nihilism, Fight Club speaks about emptiness — the desperate need to feel something real, even if it hurts. It’s a scathing critique of modern apathy and a society that numbs us with things we don’t need. But it’s also about identity, about the fear of truly being yourself in a world that rewards conformity.Fincher delivers one of the most influential films of modern cinema. It ages like a scar — deeper, but still raw. Fight Club doesn’t just hit; it shakes you to the core. And when it’s over, you realize something inside you has also been torn apart — but in the best possible way.

The cinematography, the plot, and the story are absolutely brilliant.
The plot twist is perfect, and the psychological drama is on point. The actors' performances are also superb, as are the visual effects.
This is a film you can watch twice and have a completely different experience. A true 10/10 film!

Everything is perfect — the intro, the execution, the twist, the ending. That moment when you stare at the screen, and the music starts playing, making you feel like crying without a single tear. This film is truly amazing

i rewatched it after many years, i got to be honest if you already have previous knowledge of what the major twist of the movie is, it takes away it charm and its most powerful moment. i feel like this movie will be absolutely great if its your first time watching and you haven’t been spoiled.anyhow its still great movie loses some of its momentum around the halfway point, but it regains your interest by the end, and as always Brad Pitt delivers amazing performance which in my opinion is one of its highlights and what makes the movie so memorable, not to mention its phenomenal direction. This movie would maybe be better if its around minute runtime but you probably still enjoy it, so yes I recommend watching it

I was not expecting to like this movie as much as I did. The acting and characters are superb and the Cinematography and directing go hand in hand and are incredible. I love how the story starts off relatively grounded but goes off the rails as it goes on. Some aspects of the narrator's mental condition don't really make sense but it's not enough to ruin the movie.

fight club non è nient'altro che una forte ed enorme critica sociale al capitalismo e non solo. Con un cast unico e una storia avvincente e con uno dei colpi di scena che più mi ha colpito trai film che io abbia visto è un comparto sonoro perfetto

I will say this film holds up over 25 years after its release. I like the narrative style, but this film is almost too conceptual. You'll get lost if you are focused on the camera work towards the end. This one feels like a fever dream come to life. Unfortunately, this film was pretty overhyped going in so my expectations were skewed. It's definitely worth the watch, but does not deserve the praise that it gets from the film-bros.

Fight Club is a masterclass in satire, as well as social commentary. The characters and acting are excellent, the storyline is fantastic, and the musical choices add extra depth. The one place Fight Club falls short is the third act. Things get stiff, and it feels like it drags a little before the ending. Overall, if you haven't seen it, go see it. It's not for everyone, but it is definitely one of the best films ever made.

I can’t believe it took me this long to finally watch this movie, but oh man, did it live up to the hype. It’s amazing and possibly one of the greatest movies ever made. The themes are profound, exploring anti-consumerism, anti-capitalism, toxic masculinity, and violence. I also feel Tyler is the real villain in Fight Club, leading the narrator into chaos and destruction. The cinematography is outstanding, some of the best I’ve ever seen. The performances are excellent, especially from Edward Norton, Brad Pitt, and Helena Bonham Carter. The set design is great. The script is well-written, with sharp dialogue and engaging characters. The soundtrack is excellent, with perfect song choices. The pacing keeps you hooked, making the 2 hours and 20 minutes fly by. The plot twist is amazing. The editing is razor-sharp and fast-paced. I couldn’t help but notice the subtle gay undertones, especially in the intense bond between Tyler and the Narrator that challenges typical masculinity. The final scene is visually stunning and a haunting reminder of the narrator reclaiming his life from Tyler’s influence, making it a must-watch for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet.

What started as one of my four or five favorite films has only grown better over time. Misleadingly marketed in its theatrical run as a knuckle-dragging modern rendition of Bloodsport, it's sharper, wittier and ballsier than almost any major studio film of the last two decades. Fight Club is a rapidly escalating thrill ride that never hesitates to crank the dial, and its progression from droll normalcy to vulgar aggression to, ultimately, unsettling calm in the face of a revolution is stunning. On top of all that, the film's wit is off the charts, still intelligent and amusing after two dozen viewings. Its cast of characters is wildly varied, while its smirk-smeared musings on the nature of modern masculinity remain timely a quarter-century later. I actually get shivers every time I revisit particular scenes, with the biggest one coming - reliably - just moments before the credits roll when that Pixies tune kicks in and one particular city skyline assumes a new form. That's what I call an impressive parting shot. A smart, funny, thrilling, unpredictable modern classic that never takes the easy road. I can't imagine I'll ever grow tired of it.

I don't get it. Everyone loves this movie, I can barley find people disliking this movie and if they do then they didn't get the point or write about some other stupid reasons for disliking this movie, but I actually have reasons to hate this movie.

I'm gonna break the first rule of fight club by talking about this movie. Fight Club is an amazing movie, back in '99 when movies were realistic and not that netflix mumbo jumbo... Characters are not perfect here, and its fine, people look ugly here and its fine. Back in this time people where normal. Amazing movie.
