Not interested in Town Visiting: The Pandering of Larry Croft. If someone intends to do an actual Tomb Raider series, I'll be happy with it, but there is not tomb raiding here, and that dude is NOT Lara Croft. This is shameful, and having read a couple of interviews with the author, I understand why. Recentful activists need to be kept away from writing.

ABSOLUTE garbo. She is a genius. In her own words, much more capale than Tony Stark, Hank Pym and Bill Gates. Yet she gets immediately outsmarted by a kid with a clear business sense, she cannot work unless she has a fancy lab catering to her every needs, and her only way to produce income to fund her research is through criminal activity. Inteligence is, by definition, the ability to solve problems. Being a genius is, by definition, being much more intelligent than the average. This means she should be able to solve her income problems with much more ease than the average person, finding a way to market her abilities, or even the suit she stole (yes, the Ironheart suit is stolen, it doesn't belong to her, and she should be in jail since half-way through ep 1, as the people she stole from, the university, know her address, and she went straight home with the stolen goods). But she can't. I am told she is a genius, but where's the evidence of that? I was told Tony is a genius, and the first thing I saw him do was building a suit and a miniaturized arc reactor from scratch, in a cave, with scrap parts from missiles- They even made a point in the movie about it, when Obadiah, masterfully portrayed by Jeff Bridges, yells at one scientist from the TEAM of people he had working on miniaturizing the reactor, fully driving the idea home: Tony, with a bunch of scrap, was capable of making what an entire team of highly qualified scientists, with unlimited resources, in a fully equipped lab, can't do. That shows me he is a genius. I've been told Riri is a genius. I've not been shown she is a genius. In fact, I've been shown the opposite. Riri is entitled, dismissive, disrespectful, self-centered, abusive, a liar, and a criminal. Suddenly I understand why the usual suspects are playing defense for this dumpster fire: They finally got a main character they can identify with. Not that they are gonna watch the show and prevent it from being cancelled due to lack of audience, they are to busy being online 24/7, but I do get the reason. So far I haven't seen one redeeming quality neither in the character of Riri Williams, nor in the show itself, so I won't continue watching, and I'm sad it did not get turned into a tax write-off instead of getting published, tarnishing what little good faith people can still have in the MCU as a whole. You've done it again, Disney! Congratulations!
