The third act feel a bit out of place, but my god, this movie is incredible and keeps you glued to your seat. Cinematically, it’s absolutely stunning — the visuals easily surpass many modern films. The acting is natural and grounded, with no overreactions or hollow emotions. The music score is phenomenal, elevating several key moments and giving them immense power.I honestly can’t believe I waited this long to watch it, but I’m so glad I finally did. Highly recommended. *C*

Good horror movie, the story has unique idea no one would have guessed it until it was reveled and its different from your usual horror movies some scenes genuinely gave me the creeps. The cinematography, sound design, and well timed scares were **** between 9 and 8 but i think i will give it 8 because i watched it in Cinema and people were annoying in there which ruined me enjoyment otherwise i probably would have rated it higher.I will definitely be rewatching it later in the quiet comfort of my home.

I chose this movie to be the first one I ever watched in a theater, and it was a huge disappointment. After they released the trailer, I was happy to see the series continue, but I was also skeptical. Still, I wasn’t expecting it to be this bad!Usually, this series gives you a strong intro to prepare you for the horror of the world they’re in. This one, however, wasn’t good compared to the first two, but I could let that slide. Then the movie starts, and at first, it was okay, with some explanation of the world and the characters, and a great chase **** introduction of zombies with classifications like “Alpha” and “Slowers” felt more like a concept borrowed from video games or The Walking Dead, rather than something that fits organically within this universe. After that scene, the movie starts to go downhill into silliness, stupidity, and weird editing, like the arrow death-cam. And don’t even get me started on the bone temple... that was an abomination and a stupid idea.Still, the worst part was the pregnant zombie woman on the train. WTF was that?! Who thought of this and said, “Yes, that sounds logical”? The ending was unbelievably stupid, like Power Rangers level ridiculous, a terrible way to end a movie that should have been serious.I’m a big fan of the series, and this has got to be the most disappointing movie I’ve seen in a long time. It’s obvious they made this movie as a prequel to launch a new series, but I think they just ruined it for many people. I don’t think fans will be excited to watch the next ones.

Visually polished but emotionally hollow, Mickey 17 is a sci-fi film that struggles where it matters most. The only interesting part was the beginning — it hooked me at first, but things went downhill fast. The story quickly lost momentum and just kept dragging. It felt stretched for no reason, padded with scenes that added **** direction and cinematography are decent, but they can't save a boring, increasingly frustrating narrative. Acting is passable, but with such a weak script, there's not much for the cast to work with. Emotional impact? Close to zero. I was just waiting for it to end.Stylish but empty — a promising start that fades into a forgettable mess. *C*

I’d heard a lot of praise about this movie, and I remember seeing a couple of scenes when I was a kid, but I never really remembered much. Now that I’ve finally watched the whole thing, I think all the praise is absolutely deserved.I was glued to the screen the entire time. The acting was phenomenal — most of the cast felt so real, like they weren’t even acting. The dialogue was great too, especially from that crazy sailor guy. He had some hilarious and intense lines that really stood out. There were even a few funny moments and some jump scares that actually made me flinch, which just made me enjoy it even **** direction still holds up really well especially for its time. It never drags or stretches things out for no reason, which I really appreciated.

i rewatched it after many years, i got to be honest if you already have previous knowledge of what the major twist of the movie is, it takes away it charm and its most powerful moment. i feel like this movie will be absolutely great if its your first time watching and you haven’t been spoiled.anyhow its still great movie loses some of its momentum around the halfway point, but it regains your interest by the end, and as always Brad Pitt delivers amazing performance which in my opinion is one of its highlights and what makes the movie so memorable, not to mention its phenomenal direction.This movie would maybe be better if its around minute runtime but you probably still enjoy it, so yes I recommend watching it

i remember watching this long time ago and felt it was very good movie but after rewatching it I really didn't think it was as good as I thought it was,maybe its the direction or the story just didn't hit the nail for me

im just going to paste one of the reviews a person wrote because it represents how I felt about it "I am going to echo what some others have said. The first half of this movie is brilliant. It lost me about halfway through, though. I wish so much that the writers would have chosen a different path. Heretic could have been one of the most genius movies ever written if their villain would have been a different sort and had different motivations. While hard to choose a number for this movie, I think I'm feeling 6 1/2. Great acting. Great cinematography. And, like I said, brilliant script in the first half. nothing special about the movie and i feel like I have watched this story many time before and this one doesn't add anything new, I also didn't like the acting at all, I don't know why asian actros and actress tend to be over reacting to the point I cringe a bit

cinematic wise it was really good but it was sooo long and boring it made me go to sleep in fact I enjoyed the comic story within the movie (Black Freighter) more than I enjoyed the movie

I like a good zombie flick as much as the next **** in this case it just felt like the same old.There's absolutely nothing in this movie that adds to the zombie genre, it all felt like something we have seen over and over again.

i dont know how this movie got a high rating! i felt bored as i watched this nonsense and only stayed to see what the big reveal was and i was disappointed, i probably would have rated it higher if i had watched it in 1997, it was flat and long and boring, i cant say i enjoyed this movie at all and felt like i wasted 2 hours of my time, especially that ending its just is not logical and a complete nonsenseOnly things that were good were acting and direction

If you're a fan of games, especially RPG games, then this movie is for you. It's entertaining, has a good cast, and has a few hilarious scenes. It's been a while since I've enjoyed a fun Hollywood movie, so this is a breath of fresh air, I guess.I knew it would be a good movie when I watched the trailer back then, so I highly suggest watching it.

It's not a bad movie by all means, but I might have expected better from it, or there is a possibility I wasn't in a good mood to watch it, lol. Either way, it was full of action, but they may have skipped explaining a few things to rush it to the end. I would say the ending was fair and a good closing to this great series.i never read the books and probably will never do, nevertheless no one can deny the Harry Potter series was part of many of our childhood and many of us probably imagined ourselves holding a wand and doing magical spells and wishing to be in their world :)

I didn't like it in the beginning, but it slowly started to get better as it continued, and the ending was good and emotional.

This one is far darker than any previous Harry Potter movie and it fits adults, however, I cant help but feel it lacks a bit of the magic we all know and love in the series, and it was more focused on Potter and his friends which is fine but the series used to produce a lot of characters with each movie which was great and interesting, also it has fillers not to the point makes you hate it but it would have been better if it wasn't filmed and save you more time.Anyway it wasn't a bad movie but it definitely could have been better

there is something about this movie just felt good Acting and Direction is goodweird choice of songs but I was okey with it in fact I was enjoying it :)story felt emotional a bit and its probably because of Leonardo it was a good storyI probably going to rewatch it again in the future

its actually a bad movie i have no idea how people would give it more than 3 out of 10, its has maybe one or two good scenes the rest its just blatantly boring and stupid, the story felt like it was inspired by a cheap PS2 apocalypse game, good poster ****, boring, and pointless storybad actingbad characters awful villainsbad soundtrackworst ending i have seen in a whilestay far away from it!

Besides CGI and the tension at the start of the movie, everything else is damn boring and disappointing comparing it to the original and especially the second one.- bland characters- stupid romance - even stupider plot - monster show up > hide > someone die > run > repeat (this basically what most the movie)- people are stupid and keep making nice and calling out even though they know they shouldn't!!- terrible endingI can't with good conscience recommend this snoozefest movie just stay away from it, it's not worth your time.

it has good moments and intriguing scenes however i think its stretch out, this movie could easily be 1:30hr and I'll probably would give it 7/10 if It was.nonetheless worth giving it a try

I watched it many years ago so i decided to rewatch this movie again thinking it was as good as how i rated it before and no it wasn't goodyes it has funny scenes and gave me a good laugh but the overall experience was boring to mei will just paste what other reviewer posted which explains how i felt about it:"I usually agree with the general consensus on what makes a good film and what doesn't, but very occasionally I find myself watching a widely popular film and wondering what on earth people saw in it. I thought it would be another home horror but i will be honest i was surprised.This whole movie probably contains 10 words spoken the rest is just thriller which is how i like it, there is no reason to add some dull dialogue that will lead to nowhere its better just to show it off and let the viewer understand it and the director did a good job at it and it will leave you ****, there were some stupid scenes and decisions by the protagonist but i will let that slide since it was enjoyable **** you going to watch i highly recommend putting on a headset or using good audio because the sound director did a very good job with sound effects and footsteps.i would say im satisfy on how the movie ended so complain hereforget what reviews are saying just go watch it with an open mind and judge it yourself

this is the best found-footage movie i have seen so far I rewatched it after many years to see if its still as good as I rated it before and yes its still good the acting is very realistic and its actually looks like they filming a document, sometimes the female protagonist can be annoying with her continued screams but that's okay the horror is also good overall i enjoyed it and will probably see it yet again in few years later

interesting movie but could have been way better, to be fair if you watch this after playing the games its doesn't look like a "Witcher" movie it just looks like superpower anime with a different story.i can tell without even reading the book that the story deviated from the plot but hey its Netflix so its not a surprise.also, the movie could be more serious however they added some kinda of Marvel's sarcasm and humor, the main protagonist 'Vasemer' takes most things as a joke which really ruined it for me.fights are fast-paced without strategic tactics or thinking which as we all know something a real Witcher will never **** story is definitely fast-paced as well and you couldn't be connected to the character probably.overall its not the worst but not the best either I wish another not-American studio to make these Wicther movies and I would love to see CD PROJEKT RED the one to make them.

Its criminal that this movie has an average of 6 reviews, there is absolutely nothing new here and you have probably seen this type of movie countless times before. It has predictable jump scares and a predictable ending. The story is about a woman who wanted to be a nun only to find that the church she went to has a dark secret which includes torture and some superstitious crab that Hollywood loves to hype on cinema, so yes tv-shows and movies have done this sort of movies before and this one adds nothing new to the ****'t go to Cenima and see it its not worth it and my advice to you is to waste your time on something else2/10.

So i rewatched this movie as i was rated it very highly previously and i can finally rest assured that this movie is overrated. To be honest, i felt bored and sleepy during most of my time watching it, its story is not as complex as others have claimed to be, and a few things i do praise in the movie which are Acting and Direction even though Brad Pitt was a bit more childish for a person with this kind of job. Towards the end of the movie it helped me a little to get me excited. I don't think it's that bad ending, and I admit that I wasn't expecting itoverall if you looking for a classical 90' Police-Criminal Chase movie this one is for you, as for me I don't think its that impressive.

Im glad they did a movie about WW1 since there aren't too many out there. The movie has one of the best war scenery and cinematography and starts with a great thriller and gruesome scenes however its full of dragged-out scenes that add nothing to the story. I also feel like this movie favors the other side while painting the Germans as the only bad guys and yes I know this is not entirely based on a true story but on a novel but still...i give it 8/10 could have been better to be honest. If you compare it to the movie (1917) I would say 1917 did it better and both have great cinematography.

how the hell this thing got 7.0 rating, my biggest time-wasting movie i've had this year so far its so stupid and too damn dull, i just do get the story other than it being absolutely weird and slow, also the acting in the movie and how slow they speak to each other makes its even more painful to watch.stay away from the plague as far as you can I had to skip forward just to see its end and be done with it.

it had potential but it felt boring and long, While I enjoy the narrative of the story, I have to say that this movie's style is all wrong. The jumping back and forth in time structure makes it feel all over the place and, indeed, that it's a mess. It would have been much better if it had played out completely linear. The look is cold, the style holds you back from the action. The direction is one of my least favorite things about the film,

- great acting by the kid- the story is good- the twist was unexpected which I highly like- it had some scary scenes if you would have watched it when you were young (the kitchen and bathroom scenes were very relatable lol)

i rewatched it after many years and i definitely thought this movie was much better before but now that I have watched it again I do think its a good movie even though the plot might not be the best but the action and how Denzel Washington basically carried this whole movie i'd say It was enjoyable

i don't think this movie deserves a high rating. In my opinion, it succeeded with the visual and cinematic aspects as the director did a great job with it and the CGI looks beautiful, as for acting it was decent not the best but not the worst either, the movie felt dragged in some scenes with nothing to offer to the story overall, music score is bad and felt out of touch in the movie with high vocal which make you feel like you watching some epic historical fights that didn't really relate to the world of Dune so Hans Zimmer didn't exactly hit the spot with this **** you read the books (i didn't) then you probably would understand the movie better, however, if you didn't then you maybe feel a little bit lost in the story, so i believe if this was turned into a TV Show it would have been **** me it is an average movie and nothing groundbreaking besides the visuals

great thriller movie. The actor did a good job as a creeper and you can feel it through the movie, there are a couple of questionable decisions made in the movies that will probably make you facepalm yourself. however you might feel like you have watched this type of movie before as there is nothing too special about it, but if you only wanted to be entertained i think this one is for you.

- its okay movie - solid performance by Adam Sandler - Movie was confusing a bit,and some of the soundtracks can be very irritating to the ears - the ending was surprising and I believe it ended on a good note

its slow a slow-burn movie that started well but its was painfully slow to absolute ridiculousness and dullness, the writer gave up midway and started to veer away from whatever he wanted to accomplish, and even after I watched it till the end I still don't know what the movie is all about and what the writer wanted to accomplish with it!!. the only thing the movie did good was the acting the rest is just dumb. i just feel robbed away of 2 hours of my life watching the crap, don't watch it and waste your time this movie is overhyped I don't know how it got a high score!!!

i wasn't expecting it to be that good but i am glad i was wrong, its basically Tomb Raider kinda girl who follows her father's steps and looks for relics of ancient civilization but with horror mixed with it. And like many reviewers already pointed it out its different than other horror movies and jump-scares were fairly scary. Great choice by the director not to add any type of romance or other BS like that, just straight to the point and wasting no time this is what movies should be. The cast was also great and acted like they were not shooting a movie which fit into the documentary aspect they were looking for.Anyway great movie go watch it.

good start, really bad and boring ending

most horror movies look the same however this one is a bit different than the others. Though it may start losing its thrill and horror halfway through the movie, it still kept me entertained. The cast could also be better but its a teenage movie mostly so its alright. I am looking forward to a sequel and i wish they would cast more mature adults in it just for the fun of it.I recommend this movie its been a while since I've seen a horror movie i enjoyed.
