The previous expendables movies were much better & more fun. Kind of disappointed in this. Has some nice action scenes & decent fighting but the plot, story, character build up all are pretty weak. You can skip on this, won't be a big miss.

Expend4bles. That's probably enough. Unfortunately, with each new film, it seems that the franchise should be finished or something new should be created, because by the fourth film, everything has become very meager. There are practically no old guys left, and the new cast is not so interesting to watch. Sylvester Stallone is certainly a handsome and cool guy, but even for him, this franchise is clearly too heavy, at almost 80 years old, he still runs around with a gun and kills enemies. There are too few other heroes. Lee Christmas, Gunner Jensen, Toll Road and Barney Ross are all that remains of the once large cast. Otherwise, the film is a typical action movie with a lot of guns and blood.

What a dumpster of a movie!! They should just stop trying to emulate 80s action flicks that were a gem during their times. These people should just change with the times and stop trying to just recreate those memorable films. Take a lesson from Top Gun: Maverick, modern yet memorable by evoking the emotions of the retro films instead of just trying to recreate them. Don't waste your time on this crap.

Потребовалось четыре попытки франшизы, но с Expend4bles они, наконец, сделали солидный и стабильно эффективный боевик.

He makes an unlikely ally in the form of an ageing maintenance man, Mr. Han (Chan), a kung fu master who teaches him the secrets of self-defence.I love the actors in this film. Especially Jackie Chan. He was so funny and cool at the same time. He's perfect for playing role as kong fu master he's fighting was the best. As she is around the clock, will she be able to find the lights in her darkest place? The movie itself was partially based on a true story. While the novel classifies itself as fiction but actually it roots lie in reality. Eventhough the story and its message were generally bland and cloying sentimentality which led to an upsetting experience, the visual effects for the “in-between” was incredibly eye-catching. The soundtrack is remarkably touching as it brings imaginary, dreamy, surreal and otherworldly feelings with mixed-emotion. I would recommend this movie, The Lovely Bones especially for supernatural thriller lovers out there. I’m sure the unpredictable plot will caught you off guard at the very end. They are correct and spot on for choosing Andrew Garfield as Desmond Doss to portray his Heroism and bravery, because I think It is suitable for Andrew, as compared to his past roles playing Spider-Man in The Amazing Spider-Man. When I first saw It, I thought It was so amazing and I was blown away. It Is inspiring to all.Even the fact that it was based on a true story is truly incredible. I cried pretty much throughout the entirety of this film, it got to the point where I was shaking during the war scenes. seriously such a fantastic moving film. It changes my perspective on war greatly. I give "Hacksaw Ridge" and I definitely recommend everyone to go watch this Movie. Yeah nice just delete all characters from part 3 and introduce more characters with no story. Really sad. And Stallone has new voice actor in german, which makes it not better. And just a little fighting scene for Tony Jaa.

Terribly written and edited. This film should be the death of ensemble action films. No offense to those involved but they're past their prime. It is sad to see.

Fans of action movies and 80s nostalgia will likely enjoy the return of the Expendables crew in Exp4ndables. This installment boasts plenty of action sequences, including fights, explosions, and shootouts. Although the plot isn't quite as good but overall, it's still entertaining.

A new generation of stars join the world's top action stars for an adrenaline-fueled adventure in Expend4bles. Reuniting as the team of elite mercenaries, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, and Sylvester Stallone are joined for the first time by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran, and Andy Garcia. Armed with every weapon they can get their hands on and the skills to use them, The Expendables are the world's last line of defense and the team that gets called when all other options are off the table. But new team members with new styles and tactics are going to give "new blood" a whole new meaning.

Unwatchable trash. Sadly I couldn't make it past the 15 minute mark. The writing, production value, direction - all absolutely terrible. There are plenty of other movies worth your time.

This action adventure film is the 4th installment of a once surprisingly successful film series. As someone who has seen the other three already, I knew exactly what this film’s recipe was going to be. Lots of explosions, great action sequences, quick dude jabs, and watching old action stars have fun making a film together. If you go into this movie with high expectations then you will surely be disappointed with the outcome. This film stays in its lane and does not try to deviate as once again, America is in danger from a WW3 threat and who comes to save the day, The Expendables. Some new cast members including 50 Cent and Megan Fox help bring some new star power to the series and while neither are great actors, each of them brought something unique to the film. Megan being the HOT eye candy and 50 being the hard and jacked ex-military man who gave the producers the IP to one of his most hit songs that was used creatively. Returning staples Jason Statham, Slyvester Stallone, and Dolph Lundgren continue to take the spotlight with their chemistry while the other actors provide good support. Throughout the film there were locker room jabs that at some points were pretty comical. The fight scenes were overall done decently with a little over the topness CGI sprinkled in. The overarching plot and dialogue were just okay and I found myself questioning how this movie was over two hours long considering there wasn’t many different locations and scenes that were shot. There were a couple scenes that could have been cut as they literally brought nothing to the film, looking at you Megan and Jason fighting part. Without spoiling the ending, there is also a surprise that made me roll my eyes but it didn’t really add or take anything away from the film. Overall, I would rate this film at a 5/10. The action scenes and small comic jabs helped raise this score, but the plot and meh dialogue forced me to lower it down a few notches. This film is literally a copy and paste formula from the others and if you know this going in, it will be a more enjoyable film. This film is the definition of a popcorn flick and the producers and actors know this and didn’t try to do anything else major with it. This is also the definition of a dude flick target audience film, hence the Megan Fox hire and all her basically see through lingerie and white clothes… but you won’t catch me complaining about that . I wouldn’t be shocked to see an Expendables 5 coming out in a couple years but after the 3rd flopping and this one being very meh, I could see it being the final in the series. I would recommend this movie to anyone who wants to see a decent action flick and all their old favorite action stars having fun making a film together. This will be nowhere near any awards but I did enjoy myself during the film. TL;DR: 5/10 movie with decent action. Total guy flick with explosions and good action. Very meh plot with just as meh dialogue throughout. Megan Fox is still hot.

IN A NUTSHELL:
This new film was directed by Scott Waugh. Writing credits go to Kurt Wimmer, Tad Daggerhart, and Max Adams.
This action franchise has featured a team of elite mercenaries who are the world’s last line of defense when all other options are off the table. Get ready for more macho mayhem. THINGS I LIKED:
We get to see some of our favorites in this franchise again like Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Jason Statham, and Tony Jaa. We’re also introduced to some new characters played by 50 Cent, Megan Fox, Iko Uwais, Randy Couture, and Jacob Scipio. Sadly missing is Arnold Schwarzenegger, Terry Crews, Bruce Willis, Jean Claude Van Damme, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, Wesley Snipes, Steven Seagal, Ronda Rousey, and Antonio Banderas.
There is plenty of blistering action from start to finish.
If you’re looking for unbridled testosterone, this movie is for you.
The rockin soundtrack hits hard, just like the team.
There is some amusing, snarky dialogue, especially between Jason Statham’s and Sylvester Stallone’s characters. THINGS I DIDN’T LIKE:
The lack of many of our favorite actors in this installment of the franchise is noticeable and disappointing.
It doesn’t really feel like an ensemble cast, but more of a Jason Statham movie.
Instead of clever quips, entertaining dialogue is usually replaced by grunts and yells during fighting sequences.
No fighting sequence can ever top anything from the John Wick franchise. Just saying…
It’s hard to take a female warrior seriously when she’s wearing a crop top, no body armor, perfect makeup, and hair sprayed hair.
The ending twist is super hokey.
I actually got bored during a lot of the action sequences. Sad, right? TIPS FOR PARENTS: This movie is NOT appropriate for kids.
Lots of blood, brutal murders, and dead bodies
Profanity and lots of F-bombs.
Tons of explosions and destruction.
Dirty talk.

The Expendables was a novel concept when the first film released way back in 2010. The biggest action heroes from our childhood coming together for a full blown action film. They upped the ante with more veterans in the subsequent sequel(s). It was wacky, fun and a delight to watch them together. But with the third film things started to go downhill. The choice to go with a PG-13 rating for the third movie was uncalled for and that ruined the franchise. The fourth film tries to make up for that but it loses out on most of the cast members except Statham, Lundgren, Couture & Stallone (in an extended cameo). Expendables 4 or Expend4bles has the crew go on a mission to stop a faceless villain from using nuclear warheads to start another World War. This may be Stallone's last appearance in an Expendables film and the clue to that is his fleeting appearance in the film. Statham takes up the mantle of leader and newcomers to his team include Megan Fox, 50 Cent, Tony Jaa, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran & Andy Garcia as their boss. Given the "exceptional" talent of these actors, you know the kind of movie you are in **** if that wasn't enough, the film is very filmsly put together. A lot of green screen shots that are so evident that you are bound to cringe at how actions movies have fallen from grace. The dialogues were good cliched earlier on in the series but they are just cringey now.Expend4bles is the worst thing to happen to action films. It is a disgrace to all our veteran action heroes. I am happy Stallone did not have to endure this film for long. Hope this is the final film in a franchise that has gone from good fun to utter rubbish.

Expend4bles, the fourth installment in this mostly average franchise, with the second Expendables movie being the only one i like, the good news is Expend4bles was the other one that i can safely say i mostly like but the movie also have so many flawed, one of them was that Expend4bles contains some of if not the worst green screen in movie i've ever seen, The Expendables franchise was already been known for not having the best green screen and special effects in their movies, but this one was just too horrendous and terrible looking, i wish the movie has more to the new characters, and the story itself while i'm still engaged and fine with it at the end, it still could've been better with another decision, performances was mostly good, Iko Uwais while he is a terrific fighter and that what makes his villain charisma still works even though he's acting wasn't the best but wasn't terrible either, so comes the positive of Expend4bles and it's no other than the action, the action was exciting and brutal which i really enjoyed, Jason Statham was again the most badass, the story while it flawed i was still engaged, i was completely fine with all the new characters and they were simply way better than the new characters they have in the third movie, performances again already mentioned was mostly good, and i was very entertained and not bored the whole time and that's the most important and the best thing, i was bored on the first and the third movie, this one i was entertained and really enjoying the madness, so it leaves me with positive feeling mostly for Expend4bles, a very flawed but also very entertaining action movie.

What a dumb sequel. SFX ****. Story so stupid - heard this. This villain got 10min nuclear bomb going to explode on ship, chopper destroyed, but still planning to hunt good guys then plan sail away using a lifeboat with paddle?

The first assemblage of aging action stars was in 2010 and this latest movie features some of the originals, plus younger ones in an attempt to keep it fresh and appealing…which ain't working. Sylvester Stallone leads the pack on a mission to save the world from another rogue with nuclear detonators. Thus begins an almost non-stop barrage of noise and blurs framed as action, but this time it becomes a Jason Statham movie. He gets at least half of the fights, which translates into dozens of deaths. The wiseass remarks that are supposed to pass as witty banter are bland. The almost continuous boisterous battles just become a montage of mess and the plot couldn't get more absurd. Let's just hope there isn't another sequel, because it can't get much worse.

I don't mind about the casting but too short times of actings make me forget about them in the first place especially about Iko Uwais and Couture too

I liked the first three films, but this just isn’t the same. It looks and feels so hallow and fake, and despite its return to R rating the action isn’t satisfying. What’s going on lately that $100+ million movies look worse than 2015 YouTube sketches?
