Hilarious! Extremely funny. It starts with laughing and it ends with laughing, everything in between is nothing but laughing.

I really think this is the last crusade it the first which is like raider of the lost ark and the prequel of dumb and dumber is awful and temples of doom is good.

Funny.
Keeping in mind that this is a nonsense comical movie, and a sequel of an old film, it deserve a positive rating in his peculiar category. I'm a skeptic about sequel but here they did a good job: It makes me laugh and made me a little melancholic remebering when I was youger..ages ago...laughing with friends with first movie....that's the purpose of this sequel.
Daniels and Carrey works greats and does a good comeback.

Certainly not as good as first one but still many funny moments and makes you remember how great first one was and still Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are really funny actors.

Where do I even start with this one? It’s an insult to the classic comedy film Dumb and Dumber by the Farrelly Brothers. Ugh, why didn’t they learn from the other bad sequel that came out a decade before this one. Even where it’s not garbage, it’s just a shameless rehash of the original. It’s just a remake that added nothing new to the table and made everything worse. They shouldn’t made this movie, so tell me, why was this movie ever greenlit? There’s just unfunny poop and fart jokes prevalent everywhere in the plot. This is one of the most hackneyed, unpleasantly unfunny, and dumbest movies I had the misfortune to watch. I don’t know what else I can really say about this shameful trash. D&D1 was funny, this movie wasn’t. Don’t waste your time.

got you.. Dumb And Dumber To It certainly is funny and better than the first one but it still won't make it a good movie for there isn't enough meat to feed the audience.

I mean it was bad, that wasn't really a surprise. I was surprised that it got a few laughs out of me and managed to not be completely offensive to all my senses.

This film was never going to be as good as the first Dumb and Dumber film so before I watched the second one I kept an open mind and didn't expect to much. There was always going to be a second film made it was just the case of when not if. So... to the film itself. There are some really funny moments and a lot of reminiscing from the first film which I feel was done really well. They play out scenes which are a slight copy cat of the first film but still makes you laugh. There is the odd moment where you do get a little bit bored but this only happens a few times. Its easy to compare this film to the first one and obviously this one isn't as good but I would still recommend watching as there are some really funny moments.

Everyone might end up having a few laughs, but Dumb and Dumber To recycles the same old jokes from the first movie and doesn't feel relevant compared to the original.

After twenty long years, Harry and Lloyd are back AND... most people didn't care. Despite the success of the first film, the Farrelly's waited far too long to bring the pair back. Everyone who grew up watching the first film are adults now, and the demographic they were going for with a PG-13 rating, has no idea who Harry and Lloyd are, hence the disappointing numbers at the box office. In this long awaited sequel, Harry (Jeff Daniels) is in need of a kidney and finds out that his only living relative is a daughter he never knew about. That's all it take to get Harry and Lloyd back on the road for more antics AND... they tried too hard. The original film was legitimately laugh out loud funny, while it's sequel may lead to a snicker or two. The beauty of the original is that it was so simple and so stupid that you couldn't help but laugh. The new one is full of long running pranks, modern slang the pair don't understand, and just obvious jokes. There's absolutely no spontaneity, like when Harry chucks the salt over his shoulder or Lloyd puts laxative in Harry's tea. That's not the only issue here, as the bad guys are kind of the biggest joke in the movie and Lloyd finally crosses the line from cute to creepy. The bottom line, I loved seeing Carrey and Daniels together again and I enjoyed the parallels to the first film, but aside from a few misunderstandings and a line here or there, this film isn't even close to being the film fans waited twenty years to see.

I wasn’t even 10 when the first Dumb & Dumber was released in 1994. Twenty years ago, Jim Carrey was the hero ****: he was Ace Ventura and The Mask, and every kid at school imitated his catchphrases at every occasion. We still didn’t know about the awful films that would come in the following couple of years (before he found his redemption with The Truman Show), and leave an indelible mark on his career. His co-star was Jeff Daniels, who also appeared in Speed, but didn’t have a fraction of Carrey’s fame. Daniels reportedly agreed to get involved in Dumb & Dumber for $50,000 (while Carrey’s salary was around $7 million, nearly half of the whole film’s budget), just because he was keen to star in a comedy. By pairing Carrey (Lloyd) and Daniels (Harry), and having them perform a bunch of idiotic stunts, the then newcomers Bobby and Peter Farrelly created one of the most iconic slapstick comedies of the ‘90s, and achieved an incredible financial success. I’m not sure I would find it as funny now, but it still is significantly better than its simple-minded and slack sequel, Dumb and Dumber To. Many things have changed since 1994: Bobby and Peter directed a dozen more films with increasingly worse results, The Three Stooges (2012) and their segments in the much hated Movie 43 (2013) being perfect examples of their worst failures. Jim Carrey alternated various comedies with dramatic performances, often with good results (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Man on The Moon to name but a few). Jeff Daniels, on the other hand, starred in a series of consistently mediocre features, as a quick glance at his Rotten Tomatoes page will prove. Regardless of the wrong choices he made in the past, his appearance in Looper (2012), and the Emmy he just won for his role in acclaimed TV series The Newsroom, show that he’s a solid actor with a lot of potential. When the news of Dumb and Dumber To’s release spread, millions of eyebrows raised in incredulity. Why on Earth would Carrey and Daniels go back to those ridiculous roles? They had too much to lose to risk being dragged back into potentially career-wrecking parts. This sequel attracted little favour from the very beginning; it will be interesting to see the box office results, but nothing will change the fact that, bias aside, Dumb and Dumber To is the huge disappointment everyone feared it would be. This is mostly due to Bobby and Peter Farrelly’s inability to understand the way comedy evolved in the last twenty years – although I feel that most of the film’s gags would have still fallen flat in the ‘90s. The story follows Dumb and Dumber’s road adventure formula: Lloyd and Harry must bring the proverbial MacGuffin from A to B, while chased by a deadly gang of criminals. People falling on the floor, fart jokes and qui-pro-quo gags follow at will in a tiring, uninspired and unoriginal fashion; even plot points and complementary characters are dumbed down, as if Lloyd and Harry themselves had written the screenplay on a lazy afternoon. Is this ingenious meta-cinema, or plain ineptitude? Despite their comic verve, Carrey and Daniels aren’t remotely as funny as they were 20 years ago. Seeing these two 50-year-olds grab their asses and laugh hysterically creates a sense of unease, even when their jokes actually manage to crack a laugh. Dumb and Dumber To reflects a sad trend of the recent past: directors and studios exploiting old successes to create (often unneccessary) sequels or prequels. Old ideas, however, don’t always work when merely reproposed without a serious creative process behind them. Fans of the original films are learning it the hard way; let’s hope directors and actors (but especially producers) understand it soon too.

As a standalone movie it's good, but it PALES in comparison to the original 90s classic. WAY too many scenes involve Lloyd and Harry in a car. The humor is like Deadpools style: either not that funny or bursting out laughing. The story feels........ off for some reason. The characters had no personality whatsoever, just being your typical people/rich people. Some may enjoy it, but for me it's best left forgotten.

The first Dumb an Dumber proved a hit with audiences. Apparently watching Daniels and Carrey bumble around like idiots onscreen, involving themselves in gross out gags and making stupid faces made it something of a comedy classic. I personally was not as amused. Given the fact that I didn't like the first movie I had no real interest in this sequel. Imagine my surprise when I found out just how much I liked it. Given how it consistently funny it manages to remain throughout it's runtime there seems to be some intelligence behind the stupidity this go around. The jokes keep coming, both big and small. The majority of them hit their mark. That's because the Farrelly brother toned down on the humor that didn't work in the first movie (the excessive amount of gross out gags and an over-reliance on Jim Carrey's stupid faces) and just focused on what did work; portraying just what morons these characters are. There is a certain hilarity to their ineptness that I found to be missing in the first. Surrounding Carrey and Daniels is an all around talented cast. Plenty of throwbacks to the original are made, but they are done so in small ways. As a result they serve as a way of bringing back some goofy memories of the original all while not coming off as one of those sequels that feel like they are constantly saying "hey, remember how great the first movie was?" It stands on it's own two feet and is much funnier as a result. All in all it takes what so many enjoyed about the first movie and improves upon it. The gross out gags are still here, but they have been mercifully turned down. The humor and main characters are still just as dumb as ever, but nowhere near as irritating. Even as someone who didn't enjoy the original I found plenty to enjoy and laugh at in this sequel. No, it's not art, but it certainly shows just how funny stupid humor can be. For that I give it an 8.9/10. It's quite the funny movie.

If you like the original you will NOT enjoy this movie. Unless you're addicted to sniffing gas, or some other kind of brain rotting intoxicant, you probably won't find anything to laugh about here. I relaxed my standards and was just looking for something to like. But I found nothing. This movie is bad in a way I cannot seem to find the adequate words to describe. It's cheap, and not just dumb, actually cringe worthy the whole way through. No effort. It's kind of like Anchorman 2. Everything from everyone not channeling the spirit of their original characters, oddly filmed with a stupidly high fram rate and unwelcomed style in general. In motion it looks like a British soap opera, makes me almost sick to look at it. Horrible story, bad acting from everyone, stolen jokes, no charisma, nothing. They burned it all down. Anyone who got paid to make this incising the actors should be banned from ever making a major motion picture again. I've written so much and still feel like I haven't got my point across as strongly as I'd like. I just can't believe this garbage.

Dumb and dumber to in its first 40 minutes is actually funny but then descends into mean spirited humour that is really dumb and unfunny and turns the characters of harry and Lloyd into unlikable ****.

Gutsplitting funny. That the morons consider comic "timing" the amount of time the joke takes - and the more the better, like 20 years - is a gasser. Except the regulator was removed from the crassometer - the guy who says we're trying to get'em to laugh, not to vomit, was tossed out the window on this one. Sandler and Shneider would be embarrassed. Well, not Shneider. Still, gets top rating for unratable movies. Unratable movies are ones that are genius-inspired, but can't admit it so have to act like at a formal English dinner party with a lot of harrumphs and i'll says going on. Cuz .. DAAAnnng. Don't want the aliens sending that metallic protector by making it that obvious we're wasting this ball.

Dumb and Dumber To wasn't the film I was expecting. For starters it was dry and unfunny. Watching my childhood get pooped on wasn't a very nice feeling.

Similar to the sequel to Anchorman, this was done way too long after the original. This film was poorly put together, and the original comedy was totally gone. It felt like the director said "just put any thing stupid you can in this" and that was that. Really disappointed to say the least.

THIS IS THE BEST COMEDY I HAVE EVER WATCHED THIS YEAR!!! The family and I loved it!!:) Even my little sister and brother who are age 8 and 10 enjoyed this! I loved and laughed every second of this movie and I really hope they make another one!! Fingers crossed!

Dumb and Dumber To is a comedy sequel, so I wasn't expecting much when I watched this movie. Fortunately, it slightly surpassed my expectations. It had a lot of good moments and parts where I laughed out loud. But, there are some long, unfunny stretches in the film. All I can say is, if you are a fan of the first Dumb and Dumber, you should check this one out. 6/10

1/5★ The Farrelly Brothers have not made a good movie in years. Their particular gross-out brand of humor has faded in popularity and their gags are more miss than hit. The titular characters, played by the indefatigable Jim Carrey and Jeff 'Will McAvoy' Daniels, are as idiotic as ever, but they are wrinkled, out of date and a little bit sad. Verdict: Skip

This is not supposed to be an intelligent thought provoking movie. I forgot what the original was like and sequels are generally never as good as the original. But for $1.64 at Redbox for 90 min or so of corny humor it is a winner to me. I probably wouldn't want to pay $10 or more at the movies, but for not even $1.75 it did the job I expected it to do. Maybe people should look at it as a standalone comedy for the small price of a rental and not compare it to the original.

Harry's Dad: "We loved you, Harry". Lloyd Christmas: "They loved you long time". The film is about are two main character's Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne back together and are on a new quest: to track down a long-lost child in the hopes of gaining a kidney. It's be over years since the first movie came out and the critics may have hated the first movie, but for most people it was hilarious and that movie today as been know as the funniest movie that ever body seen. Now we got the squeal and let me give you the good news and the bad news. The Good News: It isn't as god awful as I thought it was going to be. The Bad News: It isn't as good or as funny as the first movie. Jim Carry and Jeff Daniels return to their roles and it's like their never left, because both of them did great in the movie. Some of the jokes in the movie were pretty funny and this movie actually made me laugh at a fart joke and normally I hate fart jokes, because I think it's lazy and bad taste to comedy, but in this movie it made me laugh because of the two main stars of the movie pulled it off. The movie does have some jokes in the movie that came off unfunny and kind of lazy and the Harry's daughter in the movie wasn't all that interesting or anything special, she was just there to carry the plot a long. Overall Dumb and Dumber To isn't a terrible movie as I thought it was going to be, but they are some jokes in this movie that didn't really work for me and they is a lot of scenes that didn't mash well.

Jesus Christ have some appreciation people. 1. Don't compare this to the original. That was 20 years ago. 2. Carey and Daniels had really no reason to do this movie other than because they wanted to. I realize this is breaking the 4th wall, but the knowledge of who these actors are (and how old they are) makes the physical comedy especially hilarious. 3. There is some seriously dark humor in here that I think people are missing.

This is just, just too dumb. When, I mean dumb, the word 'Imbecile' is even too good for this movie. Its garbage. I couldn't take it for about 5-10 minutes then I walked out from the cinema. I watched the movie because its Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, also I watched the first movie and it was so funny and good. While, this movie, I was shocking. Jeff Daniels was not suppose to act like that. He was so great in every single his movies. Jim Carrey should stop fool himself around. He can do better.

Predictable plot but I thought it was hilarious. I laughed through out and thought it did surprisingly well for a sequel to such a classic comedy. Honestly, Half the time I don't even agree with critic scores. They will praise the worst films and yet bash the decent ones. Dumb and Dumber To is a pretty enjoyable movie that is well worth the watch.

A belated sequel to the surprising Farrelly Brothers hit, this basically treads the same ground only its core audience is now a lot older and may expect more. Lloyd and Harry are looking for Harry's daughter in order to get her to donate her kidney which leads them to a technology expo and gets them involved in a murder plot. A lot of it is crass and obvious, but two jokes (one about Surrey, and the other about aspergers) almost make it worth the price of admission

I watched the original at least a dozen times and it all felt natural, which made it so great. This sequel attempt felt forced and full of wasted and unnatural punchlines. I still remember all the best lines and scenes from the original, yet none from the sequel.

I like the first movie alot, it's one of the best comedies of all time in my eyes. This movie, not so much. The chemistry was still there and I laughed quite a lot but the last 20 minuets makes the whole point of the movie irrelevant. Also the person who plays Penny cannot act, she was annoying 6/10

Dumb and Dumber to is one of those sequels that look like a better than the original, but is more of how most sequels end up-why did this happen? Also, most of the jokes are unfunny, and some scenes are forgettable, with stupid and grose jokes.

This was not a very good movie or sequel. Sometimes you can tell that people come back to do a movie because they loved doing it the first time, maybe because they wrote it, maybe because they loved the cast. This looks like Jim Carrey hadn't had a hit in a while and had a free week to film. There are a few laughs but overall it feels like a funny or die video that goes on for 95 minutes.

In fact the long awaited sequel has finally arrived but there are some problems with this long-awaited comedy. You see, Dumb and Dumber is actually my best comedy of all time because of its obvious reasons but this time, I feel disappointed because this is far more different than the other two series. It's a bit watered down and the comedy feeling is a bit lost. Hence, of course it is still a comedy but not much as I expected before.

Dumb and Dumber To says all you need to know about the film in the title and yet still manages to be incredibly lazy, unfunny, and a cringe worthy movie. Just one big embarrassment of a film.

A few years too late. Dumb and Dumber was a few years ago really good. It has really thrown away before laughing. Now comes very late to continue and this does not come across well. It's like a joke was told 20 years ago. Crappy more about it because the humor so old and "out". 10 years ago it would have worked.

Love the original, but this is beyond dumb. At least the first one wasn't trying to be dumb as much as it just was. This is forcibly dumb and it comes across like each joke was dissected by a room full of writers and execs. This sequel should have come out 10 years ago, much like the Anchorman sequel and severely lost the audience.

A really good nostalgic kick back to the time when comedy didn't equal rom-com but plain (brainless at moments, granted) fun. Went in expected much worse movie and was pleasantly surprised.

One somber chuckle in almost two hours, you'd think you'd been watching drama. This unfunny sequel pays no homage to its cult predecessor, and you soon realise that the only thing that's dumb is the writing. Jim Carrey was also disappointing, exaggerating too much and resulting in a parody of himself - but the true blame for this colossal flop is definitely going to fall on the writers, who cheaply recycled the plot from the original and wrote one single funny scene. The rest are monotonous, century-old jokes.

This one is no where near as funny as the comedy classic that is Dumb and Dumber, but Dumb and Dumber To does have its fair share of chuckle worthy moments sprinkled in here and there.
