Stripping this to a film with fewer characters, maybe playing up the best actors giving the best performances — McGinley, Lindo, Shwayze and PenaVega stand out — would have helped.

A film that starts off on a reasonably restrained note but which quickly grows so ridiculously ham-fisted that it almost makes its predecessor seem reasonable and open-minded by comparison.

It's basically a christian version of the movie "Crash." It may be a bit campy at times and exploit the sentimentality in all of us, but it's still highly enjoyable and has something true worth saying. Lots of great actors, lots of excitement, lots of message. Go see it.

I loved this movie! It moved me, made me think and moved the story moved me to tears several times. I highly recommend this movie. I could see how what took place in this movie could happen and I felt the characters feelings. It made me see how people get tangled up in events that have consequences. I liked the actors and I was always wondering what else was coming next. I did not expect the bridge incident at all. Great movie!

Director Jonathan M. Gunn and screenwriters Chuck Konzelman and Cary Solomon are hard-pressed to provide the superfluous characters and situations sufficient depth, with the proceedings featuring enough melodramatic plot developments and homilies to fuel a religious soap opera.

When all its threads are finally pulled into place, Do You Believe? proves about as spiritually enlightening as a Kmart throw rug.

A deranged melodrama where any sense of soapy, campy fun is undercut by the preachy, self-serious tone.

If you’re going to make propaganda, fine, but at least make good propaganda.

This movie was amazing, it was very well acted and has a great script! There is nothing more important in all this world than to come into a personal relationship with our Creator, Jesus the Christ! This movie does a very good job of showing the power of His love when people truly give their lives to Him! Shame on the critics that gave it such poor ratings.

It's very simple ..... Believers will like this movie & non-believers will knock it . For an unknown cast the roles were well acted. The premise was a stretch trying to intertwine all the characters but that was not the crux of the matter. The theme hit home and left many teary eyed watchers leaving the theater. I could see a 7 rating from some but I gave it higher due to its ability to draw out emotions

This year's "God's Not Dead," from the same studio. In other words, a propaganda piece leveled at American Christians with hyperbolic straw man representations of their main enemies: atheists, academia, Muslims, and ethnic minorities. Much like last year's film, this one also is composed of several slightly interweaving stories that have no beginning, middle, end, hook, rising action, climax, denoument, tension, or entertainment value. Also like God's Not Dead, the protagonist, a white straight cis-gendered middle-class protestant male overcomes imaginary obstacles to strengthen his faith in white Jesus.

I agree whole hearty with the critics. Poorly acted and basically propaganda done terrible. Overall not a movie or what ever you can call this, where I would have anyone watch it.
