I went into The Trouble With Robots expecting nothing and discovered a well-executed little strategy game that rewarded my investment of a few afternoons most satisfactorily.

One of the best indie games I have played. It is very easy to start playing, yet difficult to master, so it can keep you busy for a while. I recommend to anyone who likes this genre.

I also got this game dirt cheap, $2.5, and feel like I robbed the developer blind. Sunk about 11 hours into it. I agree it's easily worth $5-10. Normal mode is easy to get a handle on and the Challenges & extra mode (forgot what it's called, randomly blocks 1/2 your cards so you have to try different decks) can be a real challenge. The humor in the story though is by far the best thing about this game imo. Some nice insightful jokes.

I bought this from indiegamestand for a buck. I feel like I just robbed someone. This game is well worth 5 to 10 dollars. I figured since I felt a little guilty that I would tell some friends and write a review. This game is up there with plants vs zombies and other big name indie games. I am not sure why I never heard of it before but I am extremely pleased with this game. I consider myself pretty picky when it comes to these types of games and I got to say that I am beyond pleased. Lots of depth and very approachable. These guys should be teaching a class on how to make a good indie game. Thanks for reading.

SummaryThe Trouble With Robots is a side-scrolling action / strategy customisable card game. Set in a fantasy world invaded by robots, you build decks, cast spells, summon powerful creatures (or hordes of angry peasants), and defeat legions of robots.
