Resonance of Fate is one of the most unique JRPGs out there complete with an interesting story and a fun battle system that poses just the right level of challenge. I highly recommend it for any RPG fan who's looking for something different.

If you're a hardcore fan of Japanese role-playing games, then Resonance of Fate might be for you. The storytelling is far from remarkable, and the battle system requires a whole lot of patience and commitment. It wasn't groundbreaking in 2010 and isn't groundbreaking now, but there are a handful of neat ideas.

Great jrpg! The gun play is fun and fresh and the environments are good, my only complaint is the story, I have no idea what's going on but either way this is a great find.

Interesting setting but unfulfilling story. Great challenging combat system but way too much grind. Overall it's quite enjoyable but don't rush it or you'll be frustrated with repetitiveness.

One of the best, or most unique JRPGs. Destructoids odd review drops the ball. The combat system is very fun and quite easy to grasp if you've half a brain. And the map traversing is also fun but unique. Theresa character and weapon customization, and side quests. Only gripe is the story isn't the most straightforwards; in fact it's pretty strange! But that's not unusual for JRPGs, having outside of the box storylines. This remake does a good job.

Great JRPG, a true innovative, rich and original system, plus for once, it's not swords/magic based or even medieval (although there's a lot of fantasy in the bestiary). Not for the casual player though, the battle system needs to put your brain to work, then there's quite some endgame grinding. As for the story, well, nothing to write home about, but it's not bad. One thing to make sure of when starting this game, better switch off your first degree, even maybe your second degree, some stuff is very parodic and can be wrongly interpreted as bad taste while it's more like absurd out of place JRPG clichés pushed to the extreme. You love it or cringe like never before.

Great remaster **** PS3 game. Looks great, runs at 60fps most of the time, fantastic deep gameplay.
