Pocketbike Racer is a bad kart-racing game that's often broken.

The stop-and-go action, the occasional jumps, and the sheer ridiculousness of what you're taking part in lends every race a manic aspect that elicits more giggles than groans. [Holiday 2006, p.78]

It gets stale fairly quickly, but Pocketbike Racer does very well for what it is.

as far as video games go this is quite unique. One of three in a series of promotional items at Burger King in 2006. All you had to do was purchase a whopper meal and you would recieve a free game. It is suprisingly fun. Although with it being essentially a free game there are drawbacks. The maps can get old as there were only 5 and replay the same for every cup level. The levels themselves are actually quite nice and the background and objects have many easter eggs and are overall visually appealing. The music is a bit repetitive with only a handleful of tracks on repeat. It has a set of unique characters related to burger king and IP at the time. Overall for the price and uniqueness this game provided more than enough value in entertainment. Definitely a fun time to go back to and play even in 2024.

this game is just something to play and laugh at and never touch again.....

It's basically a worse (but funnier) version of Mario Kart that has Burger King characters.

Pocketbike Racer is in no way the next coming of kart racers, but as a wallet-friendly arcade game it more than serves its role as an amusing piece of gaming software for the casual audience.

While the online play is a mess, the offline content is definitely worth a run-through, as well as the $3.99 price tag.

Mario Kart. This is the best way I can describe the game. It's not often that a game that doesn't cost $59.99 will actually be entertaining. Pocket Bike Racer offers impressive gameplay mechanics and some spiffy graphics that any XBOX 360 fan should witness. There are many wild characters that you are able to race with, from a burger dude to a giant tasty chicken. You can also modify or create a character of your choice, which is aesthetically pleasing none the less. You will also notice the similarity between Mario Kart and this game; as both are equally gratifying to play. The video clip in the beginning of the game is hilarious and adds to an important factor to why this game rocks. The graphics are impressive with smooth transitions, leaving out slow frame rates. The attack modes are tremendously gratifying, but yet so gracefully accomplished it is truly a site to behold. I would suggest any avid XBOX 360 owner give this game a shot, to beat it fully, in turn delivering a punch to corporate prices. Affordability is the next generation. All hail the king!

The online mode in PocketBike Racer is fantastic...when it works. If you can get through random crashes and dropped games, the title has a nice, robust, eight-player online mode.

The game is just so generic and doesn't even manage to use the Burger King license to its utmost to get some humor in there. Unless you have to have all three Burger King games, you can skip out on this one.

Battle royale effectively spruces up an otherwise dull game, but even this mode isn’t an ultimate savior.

I can't believe how much I loved it. It is casual, fun, and simple. I've been playing this with my dad for eight years, and he agrees this game rocks. The only downside is the lack of more maps.

For a car Tracer it's not bad it's simple fun and with multiple players can definitely be chaotic and interesting nothing to write home about but it's not a total waste of time you will actually find fun in this game and there are different modes to try out with different rules so it does help out with the replayability of the game
