Beetle Adventure Racing

Even a bicycle would be fun to ride in this game. Why? Because the tracks are spectacular. Ranging from a spoof of Jurassic Park to a complex city with freeways, hairpin turns and even staircases that can be used as ramps, the tracks are complex, beautiful and enjoyable over and over.

The only action racer you'll need for your N64. Put simply, this game is so good that it deserves your money no matter what type of video game you enjoy playing.

Arrives as a breath of fresh air in a genre that hasn't moved forward in years. The tracks are unbelievable, physics are cool and the handling is dead-on.

You're looking at the box art for Beetle Adventure Racing while viewing it on a store shelf or in a glass case. You decide that it looks a little childish, so you might pass it up for some other racer. Stop. That would be the single biggest mistake you've made in your entire gaming life.

You may have a couple of cartoon explore n' race cartridges in your collection already but I guarantee you'll find this game worth your time and every penny you pay for it.

Quite simply, Beetle Adventure Racing is the most fun, most exciting and most satisfying racing game on the N64 to date.

As the title suggests, the gameplay in Beetle Adventure Racing is focused more on having fun rather than being serious. Thanks to the ludicrous amounts of jumps and turbo boosters littered on each track, your VW is capable of leaping into the air with the greatest of ease.

This game is a masterpiece for its time. Like the name says, it is an adventure. Plenty of hidden secrets and paths/shortcuts, offering risk/time rewards. The circuits have long laps, riddled with creative, interesting and interactive content. This is an amazing game to try and beat your own best score or compete with friends. I like how you can spin in mid-air, and that the last lap has a different path for the finish line. I kind of wish there would be a remake or sequel with online high score and races. The only downside is the low variety of cars and maps, but they make up with all the creativity and enchanting world. I highly recommend this game!

Espectacular juego que me sorprendió en su dia por su frescura, sus gráficos y su tremenda originalidad. Largo, rejugable y tremendamente divertido. Su diseño de niveles es fantástico y te lo pasarás genial descubriendo nuevos caminos en cada una de sus carreras.

I don't really a 90s fan, but the game was quite good tbh, but the problem is the tracks being too long but it's too fast to finish the game just only up to 2 hours of walkthrough.

A halfway house between motorsport driving games like Ridge Racer and Kart-style racing with power ups and secret short cuts. More a pleasant Sunday afternoon drive than edge-of-the-seat thrill ride, but certainly one of the better racing games on the N64.
